We had an aircon room on third floor so at least windows could stay shut reducing tram noise.

Only negative - hotel description said air con - not in our room

There is no air con for instance, which can be a pain in a the summer.

Can hear the trams in some room as next to tram line and some rooms better than others room 307 not great very limited light, small windows and low ceilings and fan noisy in night, room 301 much nicer large windows and airy .

The lighting in the corridors is on a sensor and sometimes a bit slow to respond .

The rooms were very large and clean, with good services (tea, coffee, mini bar etc)

We had tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge which had chocolate bars plus drink which were not free.

TV channels all polish bar one news Chanel.

Returning to the hotel each night around 9.45pm to have a night cap met other guests listening to their days adventures, lovely end to the day, bar closes at 11pm, highly recommended

A nice surprise was the hotel bar very nice for a predrink before going out or a nightcap before bed.

Surprise welcome drink at the bar too which was lovely.

There is a comfy bar and the reception staff were lovely and helpful speaking excellent English too.

The main square has lots of bars and restaurants and is very lively in the evenings.

We arrived late in the evening and we used our free drink coupons at the bar for some wine.

Mini bar was included and the breakfast buffet was just what we needed to start our days of site seeing.

The room we had was very spacious and pleasantly decorated, with a small lounge area in the room and a large shower room.

Excellent location, at a walking distance from the old town, the hotel is in a renovated historic building, with a beautiful vintage furniture.

Hotel decor throughout is very nice and our room was very spacious.

Hotel Santi is a charming hotel with history and olde world charm, just returned from a four night stay and would like to say a big thank you to all the staff who work so hard to make your stay a pleasure, nothing is too much trouble.

The rooms were spacious and bright, the hotel also gave us twin beds upon request.

even though the bathroom was 'compact' and it was furnished with 'olde worlde' quality furniture.

Instead this hotel offers specious rooms, fans, old fresco paintings, excellent service 24-7 from personnel with very good English knowledge, and a very good breakfast.

Our room was spacious and as a result, it appeared to be sparsely furnished which it wasn't.

Main square in literally a 4 min walk from the hotel with many good restaurants

Santi hotel is in a perfect location for walking distance to the square, restaurants, shops, Jewish Quarter and attractions.

Loads of places to eat, moan square great

The staff provided us with a nice snack box, so we could eat in our way to the airport.

So handy for the main square with its many restaurantsand cafe's.

Shops, bars and restaurants all on your door step also taxis, bus stop’s and a tram stop all close by.

There's plenty of restaurants and also a Carrefour express supermarket for the essentials should you need them.

but very tasty, self service, hot food available to order.

Location was great, and there were plenty of amazing places to eat close by.

Service at breakfast was superb./ Food excellent and well presented.

but even those did not make much difference and I had very little and disturbed sleep which resulted in me being very tired and exhausted all the time I was there which partly ruined the trip for me.

but this is not a problem and did not prevent me from sleeping at all.

but we got use to it and managed to sleep through it.

but nothing too bad and it certainly didn’t disturb a good nights sleep.

but the second night we got no sleep due to drunk tourists in a bar until 5am.

If I were to be picky I would say the duvet was a little small so we both had to sleep in the centre of the bed and the tv had limited options in English.

but we still managed to sleep with the windows shut.

The only think I didn´t liked was the tram scrambling by just outside the hotel wall, making it difficult to sleep.

Although tram may bother you if you have a light sleep.

The trams seem to stop after 11 pm and begin again around 7 am therefore night time sleep isn't significantly disturbed.

We noted the comments from previous travellers about the tram noise which went past at frequent intervals - it didn't bother us at all and we slept well.

I am used to aircraft, rail and road noise at home and sleep through them all.

however, they didn't cause any problem for us or disturb our sleep, in fact after an hour or two we really didn't notice them.

but our group slept well for the most part - I had some trouble sleeping, on the courtyard side of the building, but it was not too bad.

but did no work for me Trams Traffice all night , opposite taxi rank ,nice hiotel and  good breakfast ,no room to swap too,so hopefully so tired will sleep through the noise

but it didn't spoil our sleep, ear plugs were provided if necessary.

I loved everything about this Hotel, the Spa was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing so many choices, I loved the location, it is about a 25 min walk to the center

Beautiful hotel in Kazimiers with pool, sauna and VERY good breakfast.

Quality from start to finish we spent 3 nights here bed and breakfast and it was superb.

I must say the staff serving breakfast are really hardworking and topmost professional ladies.

Breakfast was plentiful and served quite early do good when we had an early pick up.

Other than the bed it is a great hotel with great food and drinks at the bar and for breakfast.

The breakfast was great, good choice, we left for Auschwitz at 6.20am and the hotel provided a free packed lunch instead of breakfast which was delicious.

Pretty much what you would expect - clean, warm, friendly staff.

For those that needs a good internet connection i can say that the wi fi was excellent and this is not the rule , 
Pool and spa area very very well mantained , everythin  clean and shiny , available spa services such massage and beauty treatments and so on.

The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean with maid service every day and also benefit from a free safe and free wifi.

Reception area open, bright and clean and hosts a restaurant, shop, reception and bar.

It is clean, organised and a great location for a quick 2 minute walk to the nearby Gallerie Kasimierz.

The room and the hotel itself was incredibly clean and of a wonderful size.

The hotel was as great as the two times we have stayed there before, extremely clean, friendly and professional staff, the room was great overlooking the river and being on the 5th floor we didn't hear any noise from the dance convention that was running throughout the night.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The hotel is very clean, rooms are well sized and modern and everything you would want.

The most disappointing part for us was that the pool was closed which was not made clear at time of booking.

So we were looking forward to it, being able to relax after a long day site seeing .Only to recieve an email as we got into Krakow airport that the hotel had just informed easy jet that the pool was closed for a planned maintenance from 15th of February to the  3rd of March .

The only negative I have is that the room was a tiny bit noisy even with Windows closed due to the trams that run during day and evening on the nearby bridge.

Unfortunately the swimming pool and jacuzzi were closed when we were there which would have been nice after a long time walking.

but unfortunately it was closed due to a technical issue.

Only two downers to the stay was the pool was closed for refurbishment (but to be honest unsure if we could of squeezed this in) and being woken early in the morning 6am with the hotel fire alarm going off telling all guests to evacuate the building.

Unfortunately the pool and spa were closed during the time we were there so can't comment on it.

although the pool area was closed for refurbishment during our stay.

Most places were closed that day and as a result we missed out on a few things.

The only little thorn for us was booking a tour of the city on the Monday only to find that all the museums are closed on that day which we was not aware of.

The bed was of poor quality and we found it to be too small our room was in the 6 th floor .

The cleaning was a bit poor, my only complaint otherwise a nice hotel!

The gym is poor which is s shame as I didn’t bother after my first visit.

but they didn’t actually join together and the pillows were poor quality.

A lack of information when hiring a car resulted in us being charged an additional fee ( about 18 Euros ) when receiving the vehicle , poor marks to Carmines car rental, as it had also had faulty wipers which made it dangerous on Poland's unlit country roads -
 not for inexperienced nervous drivers - at night in the rain.

We also are in the Andromeda restaurant as the weather was poor.

One minor setback would be a poor selection of room service food and the downstairs restaurant does not necessarily cater to everyone's tastes (expensive, small and over-thought dishes on the under-seasoned side).

The TV lacked english language channels and the sound quality was very poor

but scrambled eggs were poor and coffee wasn't great.

On the day before we travelled home, we asked if she could check with the taxi company at what time we would be getting picked up in our personal transfer, as the paperwork required this to be done.

but when asked how to enter it, I was replied that I should find it in google maps – that is a poorly provided service that should not happen in the four stars hotel (there were several more situations).

We named her ‘milk it’ as when we asked for information, all she tried to do was sell us ludicrously priced tours, then when we didn’t buy into it, she gave my husband incorrect tram information (that was before we knew about Uber) so we were stuck on the wrong tram station in the rain for ages until we eventually found someone who spoke English and was able to assist us.

but were having loud conversations right outside our room door and when we asked them to be a little more considerate of other guests they became aggressive.

We asked to borrow a iron and ironing board which the housekeeper brought straight away, we didnt use it straght away as we just thought we would have it for the whole of the stay, after about 15 mins the housekeeper came back for it knocked on the door and didnt even give us a chance to say dont come in, she just waked in, which wasnt

The only downside was the dirty pillows, which were changed upon request.

We didn't then swiftly asked did we want to pay cash or card.

I was a little upset that I asked for food to be brought upstairs to my room yet the bartender decided to just serve it to us and make us carry it upstairs.

but these must be requested when booking as I didn't know and missed out.

I asked for English tea and milk for the room only to be given lemon tea and coffee creamer.

We arrived at the hotel at 13.45 and told that the room would not be ready until 14.00 so asked to take a seat right next to the reception.

When I complained they asked if I wanted ear plugs.

They changed our room within seconds from a twin to a double no problem or questions asked.

I’ve just asked reception when it stops and apparently it’ll be around 3am.

We had a bar snack there and as we returned to the room, I asked the receptionist for another toilet roll.

The only negative was when checking out very early in the morning, they asked us to pay for 2 items of mini bar in the room which we didn’t use, (the one time I didn’t take photos on arrival) he checked and asked us again which we said no we definitely didn’t use anything and he let it go at that, it was very appreciated as this would have left a dampener on the trip.

We complained 3 times in one night about noise and were asked if we wanted to move rooms at 11 50 at night !

Our room had an adjoining room not to our request which remained locked

When I asked him if he could take my bag in because I felt like I was going to throw up he refused and yelled at us.

A little fridge is smelling weirdly cause it is placed in unventilated cabinet.

Management please allocate a different area for smokers, so the rest of the guests are not affected.

We came home after a day out in the old town to a note left from reception reminding us that the room was non smoking and if it was to continue that we would be fined and could get in trouble from authorities.

The excess water NEEDS to be swept down the drain, it's really dangerous.

When we arrived at the hotel which was quite late in the evening we clearly could smell that someone had been smoking in the room prior to our arrival.

As you can see from my pictures, the hallway carpets were filthy and our bedspreads were dirty.

In the spa area, water in the swimming pool is freezing so you can't really enjoy it.

The spa facilities were really good and we had the pool and sauna nearly to ourselves whenever we used them.

Kindly the hotel had left a birthday card and some vouchers to use in the restaurant and spa.

We also visited the spa during our stay - there is a small pool, a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, which we thoroughly enjoyed using after spending the day in freezing temperatures outside.

but it looked lovely, as did the pool and spa area.

The spa was clean, modern and pretty empty when we wanted to use it which was nice.

We have planned a relaxing stay and we went down to the spa.

Breakfast had a good range of options, the pool and spa were lovely after a long day sightseeing, comfortable rooms.

It was close to the ‘old town’ had a mall a few minutes walk away, and in the centre of the area you could use scooters so also had those for access around the area.

Around a 25 min walk to The Old Town Main Square & a 20 min walk to Oscar Schindler's Factory which are both worth a visit when in Krakow.

but there are scooters everywhere so you can literally be in town in like 10 minutes, there is a shopping center a two minute walk away and its 30 mins from the airport.

We stayed at the hotel  4 days and  i had the chance to discover the amazing town of Krakow,and both were a surprise for me ,  Galaxy provides a relaxed and pleasant experience due to his modern facilities included the  spa , realy well managed , and the comfort of rooms.

To the old town walk 30min, with tram 10 min.

Well landing at our digs the old town apartments, they were all shut up.

It is within easy access to Schindler’s factory, the old town and Jewish sector.

It is about 30 minutes walk from the old town - which is fine in decent weather.

however about a 30 minutes walk to the town Square, people were friendly and helpful, we were frequent visitors to the big shopping mall a five minute walk from hotel

Modern spotless hotel right on the river and 15 mins walk into the old town.

It's also 200 meters from a great shopping centre; 5 minutes from the tram stop into town; and 5 minutes walk from the water taxi.

The hotel is a good walking distance to the old town (at least 25 minutes).

If you are spending a few days in Krakow and have several attractions to visit, I would stay closer to the centre in either the old town or Kazimierz.

The location is right next to the river, so a good 20 minute plus walk to the old town, the Jewish quarter and Schindlers factory,

The old town is around 30 mins walk and Kazimierz Jewish quarter is around 15 mins walk.
