The restaurant for breakfast was brilliant and provided a great start to our day, and we also ate in one evening which was excellent and great value for money.

We had dinner at the restaurant on one of our nights which was very nice and had the buffet breakfast each morning which was also very good and had plenty of variety .

The check in was seamless, the room was first class, the breakfast was wonderful with lots of variety.

Breakfast is excellent with multiple choices.

Although the hotel is a little dated in its decor, the service from the front desk to the breakfast staff is exceptionally friendly, which makes for a good start to the day in charming Krakow.

Hotel is clean and our room ( superior) was excellent.

We stayed in a deluxe double which was very spacious and clean.

Very friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms and great choice of food & drink (especially during Happy Hour).

Room was spacious, well-equipped and spotless- we especially loved the high ceilings.

The hotel is clean and immaculately presented, the staff are friendly, kind and helpful, and the location is perfect for site-seeing; it is a 5 minute walk from the Jewish Quarter, and about a 10 minute walk from the main square.

The noise of the lift was at times a bit intrusive.

Some especially fascinating details: the lift was always ready to lift you up from downstairs and the lift door was open.

The Metropolitan appears to have been refurbished relatively recently in a clean modern style and is excellently appointed and very well maintained.

.There was a small supermarket across from the hotel which was helpful and there were loads of bars and restaurants a minute or so away.

The hotel had a restaurant and bar offering breakfast and a happy hour service which was great before we went out for dinner in the evening.

Staff was extremely helpful in booking excursions, securing transportation from and to the airport, and just overall attentiveness.

however we were uncomfortable about the whole thing.

It was beyond uncomfortable and i'm glad we stayed there for only one night.

Negatives:- - We found the bed uncomfortable as mattress was far too firm.

We only had one fault (which isn't enough to lower our rating of 5 stars) and that is that the room was very warm which made sleeping a little bit uncomfortable.

but for the hour we were in there, we felt uncomfortable over an issue with the ‘room offer’.

My wife did complain about the hairdryer in the room and said it was uncomfortable to use - as most hotels the

Walls are very thin, on our first bight it took me very long to fall asleep and I could hear our neighbour snoring.

The walls are so thin so can hear everything from other rooms which is quite disruptive to sleep.

Arriving at the hotel you are greeted with a rather run down street with graffiti over the walls etc and a few drunks loitering about the end of the street.

Outside area has walls with graffiti on them and doesn’t help the look of the hotel

The only slight negative from the wife’s point of view was the hairdryer in the bathroom is one of the built in to the wall types.

There was a tv on the wall and small table opposite the bed.

however our room was situated next to the stairwell and every time someone walked up or down it sounded like a hammer on the wall.

The breakfast was the most massive selection id ever seen, the banana muffins were a favourite!

We were here for 7 days as two tourists, really we were satisfied to be there, great location at the city centre, clean rooms, helpful and nice staff, delicious meals, I can say truly it is a best option for performance/budget balance.

The breakfast buffet is excellent-- great variety of just about anything and everything you could want, and all of very high quality.

We also had an evening meal at the restaurant and it was superb, absolutely delightful, cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and tasted delicious, it was like heaven in your mouth.

It was an outstanding experience due to high quality interior designs, delicious fresh food and the employees who were extremely helpfull and polite.

The breakfast was okay, I miss some milk, yogurt and cold fresh juice…….

We had a very good visit to this hotel, its location is very central to public transport and walking distance to some beautiful areas.

The women who work in the restaurant are all very friendly.

When he discovered we are "foodies," the next day he typed a recipe for his family garlic soup for me.

There is so much variety that you can’t get bored and have something different to eat everyday.

Nice traditional Polish food in the restaurant downstairs, good choice of alcohol.

Dinner in the hotel was also excellent and they had many local offerings.

Lot of  nice restaurants in walking distance.

The staff can not do enough for you they will help you book yourself, taxis and they even gave us restaurant recommendations in the area we wished.

Anton in the restaurant is fantastic with his customer service and made us feel totally at home.

There is also a restaurant in the hotel for those not wanting to leave the hotel for food.

We booked a bed and breakfast tariff and breakfast was very good with an ample choice of hot or cold food.

We were in a privileged room which was so classy and beautiful.

Staff were very helpful and we were very kindly upgraded to a privilege room.
