The view alone was worth it - then add on top of that: Super friendly staff, spacious clean rooms, delicious food, beautiful pool area.

This hotel is a beautifully maintained family run hotel, the meals are fantastic and the gardens are well cared for, my son enjoyed using the pool and slide.

There is a beatiful swimming pool and a full featured spa with sauna whirlpool, etc.Breakfastand dinner was really good.

The staff were very friendly; the food was delicious (breakfast, lunch, cake, and dinner were included); the room was super clean, comfortable, and spacious; the balcony was an added bonus; and the views were truly breathtaking.

I was on full board, and the food each day at all three meals was excellent.

the choice for dinner is between a meal of meat, one fish and one vegetarian, great to vary the diet.

We were travelling from croatia and accidently came across this lovely hotel , the views are to die for, it is comfortable  homely and the food is excellant, the staff are very nice and friendly, we hope to stay again next year when passing through.

Additionally, the price for the kind service and room quality (we had a suite) was very good.

My room in the main building was large, well equipped and very comfortable with a big balcony on which to sit and take in the view.

I had a room with a quiet location and a partial view over the mountains.

It is in a beautiful mountain location on the side of a valley, with lovely views from the bedrooms across the valley to the mountains on the other side.

The most amazing thing about this hotel are the magnificent views they are truly breathtaking.

There are plenty of walks nearby  & roads to seek out quiet streams & mountains

The room, the dinner, and the breakfast were amazing; also the self-brewed beer is delicious!!

It's a very nice hotel indeed, friendly staff, large parking garage for motorcycles.

My husband had the classic Wiener schnitzel with potatoes, and I had a toast with salad.

and breakfast was included, and was more than adequate.

Breakfast had a great range including cooked items which was the first we had seen on our trip.

At 5'8", I had sufficient (but not plentiful) room.

The continental breakfast in the restaurant was a hearty affair, and was available bright and early from 7.30am to allow and earlt start for those of us who had a long day ahead.

Rooms are sufficiently spacious and clean.

The rooms are quiet and comfortable and clean.

The room had a recently refurbished bathroom, which was spotlessly clean, as was the bedroom.

If you get the right weekend (last week inJune), the Grossglockner is closed for 4 hours whilst there is a vintage motorbike race up it!!!

The staff is very friendly and the price value ratio is ok.

The gentleman who checked us in (apparently the dad of the family) was very friendly

Maybe he thought we were specifically looking for a park?

This gashof was open and offered a reduced menu after lunch time.

We ate in the hotel and the service and food was lovely and again good value.

There's a good, local fare menu in the restaurant - with two outside terraces - and some wonderful turn of the century furniture and fittings in the hallways.

Fortunately, we did eventually get back to sleep.

however we slept so well that the early morning bells ringing people to mass did not wake us.

It seems like it would be possible to set up wifi in the secondary building as well.

We did have the window cracked open because it was a little warm.

Rooms are clean and the premises as well.

We spent 3 nights in this wonderfull hotel,very comfortable and clean double room,with balcony.Downstairs there is a very good SPA.Staff in the hotel is very qualified and kind,very good food and breakfast is very assorted with a lot of tipic dessert.We'll come back there as soon as possible.

Stayed here for New Year holidays 2019/2020 for about a week.

Breakfasts and dinners are great- choice is not huge

From menu 2 though, the soup was not available either as they run out of it apparently.

The reason is because they misjudged how much food is needed, as they explained.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating and there was an elevator providing access to the rooms.

Hotel is great, staff is very nice, pleasant and helpful.

It was a comfortable, welcoming visit for us.

It is always a delight to be welcomed by  our hosts Seine and Mariecke  and be shown to our lovely comfortable and  extremely clean bedroom. On  this visit we were surprised and delighted that they  now offer   an evening meal ( the spareribs are delicious!)

Breakfast  starts the day well with everything you could want  served in a  bright and cheerful dining room.

We stayed here with a group of 50 skiers over the February half term.

The group have really enjoyed their stay and have remarked that it is the best accommodation they have ever stayed in.

The traditional food was delicious and the portions were ample.

Breakfast is included and it's very good!

We had a great dinner (trout of course) and also breakfast was ok. For our after dinner coffee we went to another place, as they did not serve espresso.

But the housemade yogurt torte was exceptionally good.

The morning starts with a widespread breakfast.

There were only two restaurants in the town center.

Excellent dinner and well taken care of throughout meal and afterwards.

From here we were able to explore a bit on foot before having dinner at the hotel.

After a day of fishing at the Drau, mother and son Niedermüller, are waiting for their guests to serve them an excellent meal à la carte from their typical carinthian kitchen.

Our room was clean and cozy as the whole hotel was.
