I imagine that the the wifi in the restaurant was probably accessible in the main building's guest rooms.

My husband had the classic Wiener schnitzel with potatoes, and I had a toast with salad.

and breakfast was included, and was more than adequate.

Breakfast had a great range including cooked items which was the first we had seen on our trip.

At 5'8", I had sufficient (but not plentiful) room.

The continental breakfast in the restaurant was a hearty affair, and was available bright and early from 7.30am to allow and earlt start for those of us who had a long day ahead.

This would have been in the main building.

He never mentioned anything being in the courtyard, and we forgot that it was mentioned in the website.

The room had a recently refurbished bathroom, which was spotlessly clean, as was the bedroom.

If you get the right weekend (last week inJune), the Grossglockner is closed for 4 hours whilst there is a vintage motorbike race up it!!!

We ate in the hotel and the service and food was lovely and again good value.

There's a good, local fare menu in the restaurant - with two outside terraces - and some wonderful turn of the century furniture and fittings in the hallways.

We had a great dinner (trout of course) and also breakfast was ok. For our after dinner coffee we went to another place, as they did not serve espresso.

But the housemade yogurt torte was exceptionally good.

Eventually we spotted a small village off the main highway with two visible hotels.

There were only two restaurants in the town center.

Excellent dinner and well taken care of throughout meal and afterwards.

From here we were able to explore a bit on foot before having dinner at the hotel.

After a day of fishing at the Drau, mother and son Niedermüller, are waiting for their guests to serve them an excellent meal à la carte from their typical carinthian kitchen.

Staff is very friendly and they make an effort to feel you at home.

Owner kindly pointed us to a large garage to keep our bike.

Not even a television to make up for view into the alley.

although we overlooked the highway it was never so busy or noisy as to be a problem.

The bed sheet was stained in a fecalia-like color.

I stayed one night in September on my own  and the price of 30 Euros for bed and breakfast seemed incredibly cheap for a hotel of this quality.

They always seem to run out of stuff on the buffet table already at opening.

The food was delicious and the hotel also had an excellent selection of drinks.

The breakfast had everything eggs, meats, cereals and fruits.

I agree with description that the breakfast is stupendous--they offer everything.

My room had a balcony with a view of the mountains, there was an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, the staff were very helpful (one girl spoke some English) and the buffet breakfast was stupendous in its array of choices and sheer abundance.

In the morning, the elevator did not work.

They made us pay EUR 140 for one night spent in that room of unacceptable quality amidst dismal conditions, and they never recognized their blunder.

This was a set menu and involved five courses, therefore the price of 20 Euros(without drinks) wasn't unreasonable

but the management and poor food quality could definately be a mission for Chef Gordon Ramsay!

Nothing too overwhelming and all done tastefully and well executed.

Fresh, welcoming rooms (with a fruit plate waiting) with unique interiors and comfortable beds.

The ambiance and service are delightful and the food is amazing.

Her sense of humor and warmth really enhanced the enjoyment of our stay and the meals that we took in the restaurant.

We have dined at the Sonnleitner restaurant in the past.

The hotel's greatest asset is Stephanie Sonnleitner.

Lovely place, noted and will be revisited when we travel in that area.

Pension Lipicer has nice simple and tidy rooms, good beds and  serves a good breakfast.

The whole house is lovingly decorated, room was good size, coffee corner available for all rooms in that floor.
