Firstly, I am not sure if there are rooms with different bathroom designs -

The access to my room had damp carpets which smelt very musty, the bathroom had very old fixtures, my sink was blocked and water took ages to flow down.

but the bathroom looked like it had seen better days.

The showerhead in my room was leaking which flooded the bathroom floor every time I showered.

What they have effectively done is to upgrade the bathroom, lay new carpet and furniture.

Walking distance to the batik shops in Bazaar Tok Guru.The only glitch was the slow drainage from the bathroom sink.

Very nice hotel, only some room need to be touch out a bit, like the wall and bathroom, shower knob rusty, expect the bathroom be more tidy clean.

The bathroom was so small, the shower water will leak to the floor every time we shower.

everywhere, table , toilet , also on my bed.

but clean room
- small bathroom n no bath tub
- limited tv channels
- the room is not soundproofing n able to hear the walking noise from alley n upstairs
- no room cleaning services on the 3rd day
- faulty toilet bowl

Upon closer look, we spotted strands of hair on the pillows, the bed, and even the shower.

however the room is terrible especially the bathroom , mould , crack tile , yellowish dirt , smelly .

pros 
1) good food - many delicious buffet / room service menu offered
2) friendly staffs (except for one person - will include this in cons) 
3) wide parking area 
4) spacious rooms

cons
1) poorly maintained bathroom, water drain clogged causing floor in the bathroom became flooded - with bad smell!

I ignored all and proceeded to take a shower.

Didn't get the set up in the bathroom, think they added the shower later.

The bathroom was not practical and already looks very old and used.

Staffs are friendly, location consider OK, just beside the stadium and you can go to Nasi Kukus Suriani via walking, other than that, nothing to brag about, the hotel is old, looking at the toilet and bath tub, you would know it is season, the morning breakfast consider satisfactory.

Room as acceptable - sans the bathroom (urgh)

BUT, the saving grace of Perdana Hotel KB is definitely their breakfast spread!!!

All-in-all, I was very impressed by the complimentary buffet breakfast!

Service was great, breakfast was good, and when I requested rubber mats for the bath tub, which they did not have, En Amin from Front Desk transferred me to a room with a shower stall AND a view overlooking the swimming pool!

I would say the hotel amenities, the staff attentiveness, buffet breakfast at Cerana Coffee House were awesome.

but aircond in old buidling is centralize so even we put lower temperature, it is still warm

Buffet breakfast is a must.

Through COVID-19, the hotel diligently execute its SOP which can be observed from its morning breakfast buffet.

The breakfast menu changes every day with local foods and delicacies.

We could see people having their breakfast on the terrace next to the pool before the sun is up.

With friendly and attentive staff, excellent breakfast spread, cozy lobby, large pool, accessible open car park, they have reclaimed the title.

Breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve ever seen in terms of value to money.

RM150 max per night include breakfast are the best price you should put.

Nice place.. Easy to access.. More parking area hotel.. Staff also friendly and helpful.. Price not too expensive.. Breakfast also too many choice..

Top room, huge breakfast, great pool, as ever friendly staff with best tip of market style food up the road.

The meeting room was nice and food of nasi dagang was delicious.

check in was ok - staff friendly and always had a smile on their faces.

The staff were very friendly and seemed equipped in handling guests during this pandemic season.

From front door, to restaurant and room service, staffs are friendly and helpful.

Hotel has swimming pool, room was spacious, a lot of parking space, good food served for breakfast, complimentary newspaper, and most important - friendly and helpful staff.

As for the staffs, they were all friendly, helpful and smiling most of the the time.

People at the place were friendly so I will definitely visit them again when transfering through Kota Bharu.

Although Perdana was actually quite dated, and old, we enjoyed the stay for folllowing reasons:

1/ Impeccable service: check-in staff were friendly and hospitable.

Pool is a nice size with a jacuzzi (not open when we were there) and room also a good size
Staff very friendly and helpful
Would recommend

Staff were helpful and friendly. Good location (nearby Wakaf Che Yeh, Pak Loh Milo Tunggeng, Badik2 Cafe and other places.)

Efficient check-in, neat and well equipped rooms, friendly staff, nice view, and handy location.

I checked in and was delighted upon the friendly service of the receptionist and checking in was a breeze.

We had a nice stay at this hotel and the staff were friendly and gave us a late check out until 3 pm free of charge which we were very grateful for as we have a 11 month old baby and had a long journey home ahead of us.

Near to KB Mall which is walking distance. Near to Pasar Siti Khadijah ( which i consider main attraction)

KB Mall is close by with many shops & eateries & to spend evening.

The location is also near to KB mall too (walking distance).

Near KB mall and food stalls outside are within walking distance too.

The hotel is within walking distance to lots of things like the KB Mall, the Kelantan Museum

The location is within walking distance to KB Mall and it is easy to get taxis to get around in KB.

I thought it was just once incident due to understandably heavy traffic at the restaurant

Room walls seem a bit thin as I could hear the next-door guest talking.

but no one is monitoring the movements - guests were seen swimming without proper attire and soiled towels were strewn all over the places.

Room :
We got room 139 then we request to change room because bedsheet not change (itchi the whole body); noisy of kitchen fan.

The room wad dirty, noisy and needed a total refurb.

Room not soundproof, can hear laugh & scream from kids next door.

I can hear clearly the kids keep shouting to each others.

Makes you wonder how long since the last vacuum (i didnt hear the sounds of vacuum at all the 2 mornings I was around ).

You can hear when someone in the next room is talking.

First we had no rest for the building noise outside.

Sound proofing from outside noise is good, however can hear slight noise from neighbouring rooms,

even though we are at 3rd floor and we can hear people talking at the corridor.

The rooms have paper thin walls and we could here our neighbors talking clearly and making a lot of noise.

Didn't hear any construction noise at all
- The breakfast.

But they are upgrading some rooms which add to the loud noise level during the day.

The devices  will stop charging everytime the power turn off, and it happened soooo many times that night so i keep myself awake just to ensure that they are fully charged.

Being the fasting month of Ramadhan, the noise from the restaurant below can be quite deafening with sound of patrons & music from the speakers.

Our room is overlooking the swimming pool.

During my stay I also tried swimming pool and it was a good idea.

with jacuzzi, swimming pool i think Hotel Perdana are suitable for all level people.

Spacious rooms, excellent service, swimming pool and tasty breakfast.

I did not use the swimming pool so I didn’t experience a dress code

It was raining throughout our stay, so we can’t enjoy the pool facility.

Nice swimming pool and decent restaurants.

It has all kind of services, 3 restaurants, swimming pool and many other facilities.

Huge swimming pools - one for adults and one for children!

The hotel has a big pool and a gym with lots of machines for exercising, as well as a jacuzzi

but Islam hotel so no alcohol but great swimming pool and free breakfast.

5***** comfort with swimming pool and very comfortable guest rooms.

They organized Street Food festival by the swimming pool.

The hotel got nice, with spacious room, swimming pool, gym and restaurant with buffet breakfast included, even old a bit, it is still comfortable and it is a great place to stay

Got free parking and easy to park

Got a nice swimming pool that is children friendly.

and the shower head was placed at such a distance that the measly shower curtain could not do anything to stop the torrent of water spilling all over the bathtub edges unto the floor.

but the barbecue night was a bit of a disappointment as the grilled items were lukewarm, the ala carte dinner menu was so much better.

As we were quickly getting dressed to head out for a tour of the city, she knocks again, as i really needed her to replace towels (shower was us standing in the bathtub, this caused the toilet to flood most times so my bath towels had to be used to soak up the excess water on the floor) i made her clean as I was getting dressed.

Therefore, every time anyone takes a shower, the shower water would run onto the fixtures and flood your bathroom.

The only negative was hot water out of service in a day of our arrival.

The sink flooded after a while.. water was flowing down v slowly.

This is not safe
- The bathtub floor where one stands is slippery during shower with running water, especially after applying soap.

The water pressure for hot water was insufficient and we saw a lot of tiny ants in the room.

The only thing was that despite having a curtain, water would puddle at the base of the bathtub because water from the shower would somehow run along the rim of the bathtub and drip down.

It seemed they had a problem with the hot water and after 2 visits from maintenance and several calls to reception, I was informed of this.

Hot water was also unavailable due to piping modifications.

I have to wait for about 5 minutes before getting hot water from the shower.

however the hot water was only ever lukewarm during our stay.

were not provided, BUT other amenities like shower gel, shampoo & lotion were.

when try to flush it was stuck and more come out, it was so disgusting and so awful.

It's easy - staff speak English, the room looks like you'd expect a hotel room to look and there are no surprises like a quirky loo.

Toilet bowl is stuck even after service still the same.

the biggest complaint for me was the shower, there was no cold water!!!!!

The furnitures, beds and the bathroom had obviously seen better days.

It took some time for the water to subside while showering.

The toilet is clean, shower cubicle separated from the bath tub.

but there are other toiletries like shampoo, body wash & lotion.

though clean, required a refurb due to mould and damage on the tiles around the bath.

The room we got first was very old, very dirty windows and the bathroom was pretty gross and mouldy.

But the bathroom could use a bit of a scrub, the grout and tiles were yellowed by dirt.

For a 4 star hotel, there was no hair-dryer in the bathroom!

Bathroom door frame can see some wood worn off (lower part) and the shower glass door noisy whenever we open or close the door.

Cons : very cramped toilet seat (remove the toilet paper holder, to ease some space), one of the power outlet (near TV) not working & shower heater not working properly.

Prize and cleanliness are ok - Parking and welcoming also - when we entered the room, my wife checked bed and found hair and dirt from pre-guest, also shower was not clean.. - dot so funny, .

the toilet bowl has stains in it and had to be closed all the time after using.

The buffet breakfast offered traditional Malaysian food as well as Western food.

We personally loved having breakfast at White house Coffee.

The restaurant offered good hearty breakfast spread (with local and western choices).

But there is also very nice water pressure and hot water, very fast internet in the room, enjoyable pool and normal breakfast options.

The breakfast are delicious and nutritious.

breakfast varieties also ok and widely enough for me(local food, bread, dessert,salad,fruit,cereal).

Food was nice, the breakfast offered traditional Malaysian food as well as Western food.

The breakfast included in my pricing had plenty of selections available from local menu and typical Western options that you can find in Asian hotels.

The breakfast is nice with a lot of choices..

Try sumptuous & delicious dim sum at Chao Yuen Chinese Restaurant.

Breakfast spread was fair and some of the dish on the main line was quite sumptuous.

The air conditioning borders between stuffy room temperature on one end and not so cold and noisy on the other; indications that the system needs servicing.

Room Aircon is not cold even after complain.

The room got too cold and we have to switch it off early in the morning.

though the coffee was cold, there was a good breakfast buffet.

but the main issue was the room was damp and may of contributed to our son catching a cold while were there so we had to change rooms to a dryer room.

The breakfast buffet was not appetising at all, as most of the dishes served were cold especially the porridge.

However the coffee and tea at the breakfast was cold as I'm very particular about my coffee being hot.

The local breakfast was really tasty except that every dish was stone cold.

Things are really old..the centralized aircond is crazily cold even when u off the aircond in your room n it is really not environmental friendly to have the aircond blasting when u are not in the room (with the electric card removed).

but it's better if can upgrade to a new unit with remote controller so that customer does not have to get up in the middle of night to adjust the temperature if too cold.

Location wise, its quite a walking distance to the market (about 500m), the old palace, museums and central mosque near which is the famed White House cafe.

The location was good and close to main touristy sights.

Located within the city itself thus it is not a problem to find eateries places.

The good thing about this hotel is its location which is by the river and near to tourist attractions such as the Siti Khadijah Market and royal museum.

Perfect location for exploring Kota Bharu and a wonderful setting on the river, especially if you have a room overlooking it as we did.

Location is very useful and centrally located.

The hotel is located right by the river so the view was nice.

The hotel is strategic located nearby most of the attraction points in the town.

It is located on the banks of a large river, and

The hotel was located on the edge of the city next to the river so a short walk to shops.

The location is good because you can find many restaurants nearby.

The hotel is in a fantastic city location and virtually on the riverside (hence the name).

Location wise.. Quite okay..but if you want to go to the famous pasar siti khadijah..it's quite far about 500meters.. 

One thing about this hotel..

This Hotel was the former Diamond Putri Hotel and is strategically located in the City Centre.

Hotel is located within the city, walking distance to most of the restaurants, especially Restaurant Hover.

We were initially given room 531 and it was in a  very very poor condition.

however was only average.Presentation was poor and the food that should have been hot was only lukewarm.This was a disappointment as I had expected more from a hotel of this calibre..I can give it only 6 out of 10.

Hotel Management needs to look into the maintenance of the Hotel as this is very visible especially at the Porte Corche area (front entrance is poor), Lobby needs some decorations to liven up the entire Hotel.

The banquet waiter/waitresses were very disappointing as meals were served wrongly and service was very poor.

but the level of cleanliness was very poor during my stay.

And the 'continental option' was no better,  a poor selection at best.

but some of the channels reception was very poor.

The presentation and the quality of the food was poor.

After an hour checked -in and rested we had to change the pillows because it was too smelly.

It was very dated with absolutely filthy windows

In fact the the room given to me was old and smelly room.

Icing on top of the cake was when we entered the room, a weird mouldy smell was detected.

Had to purchase clorox to pour down the wc.

It stunk, the carpet smell was really strong hitting our face.

Even the bed sheets were damp and smelly.

Mattress is sinking and with foul smell, and the air-con definitely need to be serviced as i couldn't feel the air-con at all, the room is so stuffy and warm and ended up i had a sleepless night in this hotel.

There was a foul odor that came up from the shower drain.

It smelled like garbage from old school canteen.

Rooms were stinky and the furniture smelt like old.

There was a funny smell on arrival to our floor,

And every thing in y
our luggage smelly!!!!

After calling & waiting for 15 mins, FO team came and brought us to another room.

We were looked after and staff were friendly and helpful.

The gentleman at the reception desk managed to print out two Air Asia boarding passes for me very quickly and efficiently.

The receptionist was friendly and very helpful in arranging a tour and transport for us.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The staff were all welcoming with smiles on their faces.

the staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly and accommodating.

They are very warmth, friendly and helpful.

Apart from the impressive reception area everything looks/feels kinda tired.

The door guy is very friendly and always greeting you cheerfully.

The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful.

Fast and efficient check-in, got a room on the 10th.

Staffs were very friendly especially the front desk.

The choice of drinks remind me of school days, it really taste like school canteen cordial drink.

Being greeted by friendly and helpful staff and took only less than 10 minutes to complete all registration.

Booked this hotel bcos of the view, and the property exterior & rooms looked fine in photos.

My room was really spacious with a city view.

Our rooms were facing the river and had a view of Kelantan.

The room is large and have a good view to the river.

Called up reception to request for a changed to river view and request granted and was given room 724 - right at the end.

The room is nice and clean (no odd smell) facing to Kelantan River.

Room excellent, pool excellent, nice view (Sungai Kelantan and city) except for front staff name Yanie.

The view was okay .. Easy to check in.. Staff warmly welcome us ..
