The rooms were nice in traditional old Bulgarian style, staff was really kind and helpful.

The guest house was situated close to the town centre and this somewhat rustic accommodation lets you experience old style Bulgaria.

Koprivshtitsa is great place to travel back in time, to visit museums, to walk in the nature or just to take a rest from big city noise.

The food in the restaurant was home-made and very delicious.

In any case, despite our lateness we were still able to get a simple and freshly-prepared breakfast, which again we took outside.

Very cozy and one has everything one needs.

A good place to absorb some local color in a town with interesting history filled with beautiful houses.

That's an old place built back in 1832 and it perfectly fits into the town's historical architecture while at the same time without being luxurious it provides everything a tourist may ask for, including a good-quality restaurant.

A well manicured lawn is surrounded by colorful flowers.

The food at the house is simply amazing - we enjoyed eating traditional Bulgarian meals.

The food in the restaurant was way better than the food we ordered in any other restaurant in town.

The restaurant offers the essentials of the Bulgarian cuisine - everything we ate was very tasty.

As we were in a group, we had a set dinner menu which consisted of an enormous sausage and lots of the usual Bulgarian salads and vegetables.

I highly recommend eating here for dinner.

(Personally, for beer I would recommend Zagorka).

The house was clean, also the rooms, bed sheets and towels.

The apartement in which we stayed has 2 separate rooms, one including a traditional stove, and the bathroom is quite large - and modern - with no shortage of hot water.

Bashtina Striaha is a lovely house decorated in traditional style, set a few streets away from the main square so everything is nearby.

We were greeted by Mariana who spoke excellent English; she was friendly and willing to chat, and available if we had any problems or questions (we didn’t).

One of the few owners in town that could speak good english.

The owners were extremely welcoming, hospitable and willing to help.

The owners are very friendly, you can ask for tradional Bulgarian breakfast for 5 leva.

We felt more than guests in the house, the hosts were really nice and welcoming.

The owner Mariana is very nice with fluent English.

Koprivshtitsa is a wonderful town and fully deserves much more time than just a few hours!

Koprifshinza is a calm town like 50 years ago.

The house is 5 min walking from all the big restaurants in town.

The room was spacious and the breakfast was amazing.

At the same time, his mother is a superb cook, always providing delicious food with the help of Simo's wife.

This nice 2-star-family-owned-hotel (more bed and breakfast if you ask me) consists of 2 parts - a so-called folk or traditional style and a comtemporary one.

Breakfast room was cosy with a fire place.

The hotel is clean n tastefully decorated with a touch of the local flavor.. Serafim n his wife Desi were a great host n his mum, Rosi is a great cook.

In the lower level of the hotel is the restaurant with a woodstove on one end providing a nice warm atmosphere to enjoy the meal.

Love the atmosphere in the tavern and most of all the friendliness and helpful family!

The room was traditionally decorated and had a lovely view of the town.

Koprivshtitsa itself remains a fascinating place with a number of museum houses, all of which are worth visiting, whilst there is history to be discovered in many nearby towns and villages.

but offering everything needed for a good sleep (what exactly we needed after spending the entire day in visiting museums and having a tasty dinner with a lot of rakia and wine), the apartment was on the upper floor and has much more space and a great terrace big enough for 4-6 people terrace from where you could enjoy the view at the town.

Simo, the son in charge, is always incredibly helpful and will put himself out to do anything to make your stay there more enjoyable.

The family were extremely friendly and helpful.

Family hotel made ​​me very impressed with the friendly staff, home kitchen with exellent prepared dishes, friendly attitude towards guests .

Nice little desk and stool provided in my room, and the wifi worked very well.

Very well run by brother and sister who are very friendly and helpful and speak (at least) English and French.

What makes the place special are the very friendly owners - especially the son who speaks ok English.

Nikolina and her brother Serafim, were pleasant, always smiling and very polite.

The owners are extremely kind people and trying to give you the best possible service.

The couple who runs the hotel (more like a B&B) was very welcoming on our arrival.

It was among the best breakfast's we have had in Bulgaria.

Staff with Very professional etiquette, great atmosphere.

The Hotel is bright and clean and modern yet fits in well with the old style Bulgarian houses that form the village.

The the staff on the reception is not nice - unfriendly , not speaking English not helping when asking on second day to clean our room.
