Balcony on shady side is pleasant 24 hours per day.

When we arrived one of the doble rooms we booked was not available, so they upgraded us to a better room with a balcony with a great view.

A large big king bed and seating area and balcony equipped with good a/c, TV, fridge and most importantly clean with good towels and bedclothes.

but get onee of the rooms with balcony and a view.

The view at night from my balcony was breathtaking.

although the water pressure was quite low.

There was no waste basket in the room or bathroom.

Excellent location,  quiet, clean and the staff were amazing, good service plus was right on point.

Hill View Hotel is basic, clean, and quiet.

A reasonable sized clean pool with ten sunbeds and plenty of room for a dip and rest after a hot day sightseeing or even a complete day just relaxing.

Stayed here with adult family members and was so impressed with the staff, cleanliness and amazing views day and night.

My meals are always cooked and served hot; they include daily breakfast, lunch & dinner.

and Yes the food is good and warmly served and the view is amazing especially at night by the pool.

Additional service with taxi drivers, renting cars, meals and luggage storage were all very well arranged.

This hotel is the best hotel ever, I love Hill view hotel and especially the front desk ladies who greets with a beautiful smile.

Good gate security,most of all the staffs are really nice and welcoming.

Free breakfast was good and the staff were so helpful with anything we needed.

The reception  at the front was warm and homely.

I stayed here for 5days and the service was brilliant, staffs were soo passionate about customers and always call to know if you are fine.

The view of Accra is beautiful and the breeze from up there was great after a relatively warm day in Accra.

Just 10 or so rooms over three floors with very good views from some rooms over Accra, particularly at night with twinkling lights everywhere.

The location of the hotel is on a hill with a great  sight view of the city from the pool side.

And the view of the town lights while at the pool side is just an amazing way to relax after a long day out for business.

From here you not only have a amazing view during daytime and night

It is located in a peaceful area with really nice views over Accra, especially in the evening.

but definitely worth that hassle for the stunning views and serenity.

The view is awesome from the patio in which I spent time there daily in meditation and prayer for my morning and evening time with my God.

They have by  far one of the most amazing views in all of Ghana!

I had the pool view and it's quite refreshing to wake up every morning to see Accra and also enjoy the night view while swimming.

Anyway, the room we were in felt claustrophobic due to the heavy decor and not great ventilation.

they dont provide your with soap in the bathroom.

The hotel is about 10 min walk away from the beach.

The best you can along the coast of Ghana.

The beach is located 10 minutes away and is very safe for children.

It's a 7 min or so walk to the beach which is fine

The hotel has a nice swimming pool and the beach is not far from the hotel.

I might as well have been in Kumasi rather than in a beach town.

but I must say De Holiday Beach Hotel which is about 5 minutes drive and 12 minutes walk from the beach was so refreshing and clean.

Memories of the beautiful beach at Krokrobite added to my experience.

Its close to some popular beach resort especially i found Bojo beach resort very nice.

Its has a close proximity to a serene beach in Kokrobite.

The hotel is within walking distance, about 5-10 minutes, to a very beautiful beach.

The hotel is in close proximity to the beach - a 5 minute walk and that gave me the peace of mind as I had little ones that enjoy exploring.

With room rates of about USD50.00 per night we had complimentary breakfast and the use of their clean swimming pool.

The Hotel has all the basic amenities one would expect in a hotel swimming pool, gym, bar, security, daily housekeeping etc.

The facilities were great and the restaurant and bar were of a very high standard as well.

There is cute gym to keep you in shape and a cool and neat swimming pool to cool your body.

This hotel is very nice, very clean with modern facilities.

The property is nicely located close to the beach and has all the basic amenities one would expect – swimming pool, gym, bar, security, daily housekeeping etc.

The cooking facilities also helped as we  travelled with some food stuffs, cooked and did not miss home (a bit).

Well this was my first trip to Ghana ,i had done research online an came across this hotel on a website i trusted (hotels.com)..They seem to offer everything i wanted a Gym,Pool,wifi,Games room,Saloon an even breakfast was included in the price!

I must confess its great place with good facilities and a very inviting pool.

A swimming pool was right outside the door, was always welcoming, and were cleaned regularly, and I must also mention that the bar was at the swimming pool, with a pleasant and service minded behavior.

The hotel has a great pool, good food and a serene ambience.

We really enjoyed the pool right in the middle of the hotel.

Unlike other beach properties, this had a fresh water pool begging me to take a dip as I walked into my suite.

With the very affordable room rates I initially had my doubts as to how comfortable and relaxing De Holiday Beach would be.

The price for that gem of a room is unbelievable.

The modern restaurant serves many local dishes and foreign dishes and the pricing is very very moderate.

The prices are very affordable for such great services.

but in return asked the hotel with its own mini bus that drove you to the center for a cheap price.

I have not experienced such hospitality at such a  great price.

Their staff were friendly and the hotel is in a secured environment.

The staff who worked there did a good job with carrying buckets of water to our door.

The staff were very professional and friendly throughout our three days stay.

Even when not available, the courteous staff would provide for you.

Overall, the Hotel Management were customer focused rather than focused on self. Great!

We really enjoyed our stay (although short - 3 nights) in your hotel and your staffs (Abraham and the madam at the reception) were really courteous and helpful all in a bid to ensuring we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

The staff were  helpful and attentive to my needs.

It seems the owners are writing their own reviews here, I got suspicious when I saw all the reviewers had only 2 or 3 other reviews,  and their reviews were 'too good to be true" so I  checked out the reviews on hotel.com which paints a horrid picture.

I really also boasts of service and staff, they made the stay extra enjoyable.

I was told their rooms are air-condiotoned, wifi available, etc.

but this Is the worst I have ever been, first on  their website they wrote "wifi 24/7," no sign of wifi even when I spoke with the manager she said I will get back to u,she never did, the cook (as they call her)is also the waitress who rings the door bell without coutesy,forgetting it's just a room not a mansion, i wont bother complaining about d loud music, some local kids playing in the pool and spitting on it or is it the housekeeping!

I enjoyed internet connection throughout our stay however at some point, there was limited connectivity inside our room

The room offered almost no connection with nature.

wifi isnt in rooms its a moderm the manager has an u can borrow for 10 ghana cedis for half an hour !

Located on the beach this is a nice place with high quality rooms.

They help with the local community and keeping the beach clean.

We did walk on the beach (no swimming or surfing for us) and didn't take anything at all with us on the hotel's advice.

Only Oasis in Cape Coast came close in the number of tourists and even that had a much nicer atmosphere.

As if it's not bad enough you're constantly watching your stuff on the beach, the staff are at it as well.

There isn’t a lot to offer during the day so I mostly sat on the beach reading, getting to know people and the culture.

It's right on the beach and has a surf school on the premises where you can rent boards and get lessons.

We day tripped from Accra to this unique Beach Oasis.

Apart from fabulous beaches and sea, we spent ages watching the fishermen bring in their boats with the help of men and boys on the beach hauling on ropes.

Stay somewhere better and travel to the beach yourself.

In case you are in trouble or hunted by some beach boys, the crew will come to the rescue.

The cleanliness of the beach varies when I was there it was clean enough for me to feel comfortable swimming

The rooms were comfortable and the beach here is pleasant and pretty clean.

The Beach is just by the hotel, a lovely place.

The restaurant has a good menu and a service minded crew.

Being coming to Big Millys Backyard since 2006 and the experience keeps on getting better and Better, thumbs up to Wendy and the crew for their cool innovations.

Staff are friendly and it is a lovely environment.

It really captures a good backpacker vibe with a distinctly African flavour.

Great food, great rooms, great staff, fantastic atmosphere.

The atmosphere is generally very welcoming .

Thomas is blessed with a flair for languages, so he will probably greet you in your own language.

The whole place had a very chilled out vibe and the reggae night was great.

Big Millys has a very nice relaxed Vibe and very nice food, excellent breakfast at reasonable prices.

Atmosphere was threatening and all felt vulnerable.

The environment was nice and we hear that this is a great place on weekends when there is Reggie music.

I will praise Big Milly's for the food - one night there a barbecue and I had Indian style meatballs with lots of sides - it was probably the best meal I had in Ghana.

Rooms were clean and furnished with full bathrooms (toilet, shower, etc).

I would recommend heading to the beach front around Busua if you want a more laid back vibe.

The food was reasonably priced and very tasty, its quite a rustic place and you definately get an African vibe from the place, it was clean and staff were friendly.ate at dizxys which was near the beach, which was great to have the breeze flowing through as we are our meal and had some local drummers which gave it a great feel

The weekend has live entertainment which creates a great atmosphere.

The accommodation was comfortable, the food was very good and the bar atmosphere was great.

The only draw back we found was the toilets had no doors just a curtain.

but there was only a small curtain as a bathroom door.

The room we had also didn't have a door on the bathroom, just a curtain, so you had no privacy really from the noises one makes when nature calls (*cough cough),

The morning after we checked in we had someone knocking at our door at 6.20!!!

The room was clean, AC the only thing was that there was no door on the bathroom so we had to evacuate at certain times :)  having said that we later discoverd communal toilets outside and they were spotless!

It is possible to leave the door to your room open for light,

Although we were given a key for the front door the "en-suite" was external without a roof and just a screen door, not at all safe.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and I very much look forward to going to stay at Milly's next time am in Ghana.

Some staff were genuinely friendly and its nice when they make and effort to learn your name and say hello in the morning.

but to travel all this way for a dodgy beach wasn't good.

***  Anyway, BM's is right on the beach-but be VERY wary of the shady dudes,

People swam (watch out for the rip tide - can be very dangerous) and surfed while I lay on a beach chair and read my book.

but at the same time dangerous as you're not sure what you have spent and you put your trust in them to tally up your total, but when I paid it all seemed fine to me considering my total was for stay, food, drink and transport.

The beach in front of the hotel is just the WORSE one in the neighborhood.
