Been a member of Wyndham rewards over 15 years even with their Credit card.

Immediately called front desk to report this so we wouldn't be charged  the $250 and ask for a receipt stating this BUT the front desk guy refused.

Could have better hot breakfast options
Could clean black marks off the walls

I guess your paying for location 
You have to live 50 miles outside of Knoxville in order to stay there

She said there’s an additional charge $40!

but my credit card was hacked with 24 hours. coincidence?????

They told me I could check out and they wouldn't charge me.

Less than 10 mins, had my key card and was on my way to my room.

Check your bill, and dispute the charges.

When charges were entered on credit card it was $20.00 higher, per night and refused to correct bill.i would recommend checking your bill and confirming your rate.

The lady on duty said they would make a $30 adjustment, still charging me over $60 for the night!!

While there were not as many outlets and charging outlets as the best places, there were enough to get the job done barely.

We had a mistake on our reservation, which would have upped our charge

but it didn't get billed as a no show, it was an actual stay.

but as you may have read from other reviewers, they charged a one-time fee for pets and did not charge it daily as they normally would.

Housekeeping staff were amazing and I give them credit for this review not being below average.

I was happy with everything until after checking out I looked at my bank account to see 2 other mysterious charges on my bill.

It sometimes takes frequent attempts for the door lock to recognize the key card.

On our last stay which was for 4 days we put on the the card requesting linen change and it was not DONE.

but once arriving at the hotel, I was charged $98.00 per room.

My room was very clean aside from a dusty lamp.

Room was clean,  service was ok.  Could not get a receipt due to paying through a 3rd party.

The hotel had recently been remodeled the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The price we get thru Booking.com is very reasonable and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful overnight stay  Easy check in great room clean and easy to get to.

The rooms were old and dingy, furniture old and dirty, our room smelled like rotten fruit, and the main part of the hotel smelled musty.

The internet was crappy and slow, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the water pressure was low, the bathtub wasn't clean enough for a bath, the water tasted nasty, and the customer service stunk!

As for my room, it had a noisy little fridge that didn't work and the whole place looks and smells like it should have been redone 10 years ago.

This was one of the few rooms we have stayed in where it didn't completely smell like cat pee or wet dog.

The carpet was disgusting, the bed was rock hard, the room was extremely small and outdated, the breakfast was less than average for a hotel, and when I declared my two dogs at check in, I was quoted that it would only be "a $20 per night pet fee."

The room smelled strongly of cinnamon pot pourri making it difficult to breathe; irritating our throats.

It smelled like fall pie when we walked in our room.

although there was a problem with the smoke alarm in the first rom we were given (it kept chirping) this was quickly resolved with keys to another room.

Forced to involve my credit card company, terrible business practice.

I am a biochemist with the cdc , travel extensively over 250 days a year , iam card holder with Hilton , Marriott, Wyndham, holiday inn and choice.

They had some issues with their credit card machine and the room door needs repair-

There is a huge sign on the desk that says something about if you use debit cards they charge you the damage deposit and what isn’t used will go back in 5 to 7 days.

Room 101 was filthy, night shift manager very rude, was over charged by 25.00 dollars.

My booking was for 2 nights and I was charged for 3.

They charged me for the room 3 times and credited me back once.

I am disappointed that the charge is $20 per dog!

The day after we checked out, we were charged $675 instead of the agreed upon amount.

If you don't claim your pet they have the right to charge a pet cleaning fee because not all rooms are pet friendly rooms.

though the owner seemed confused (the next morning) by his employee's decision to put us in two rooms and only charge us for one, I appreciated his employee's quick response and desire to make things right.

I receive my CC bill and see room charge and another charge of 25.94.

There was $100 of mistaken charges on my account.

After i checked out i had 4 pending charges on my credit card account only one of which i signed for!

Credit card company deleted the extra charge.

but my stay had to be extended another day so when I got the room for another night I asked Mr. Patel if I could get the same rate and he said yes but when I got my credit card statement I was charged significantly more than the rate I was receiving (about $82)

It was the morning after night 1 of 3 and instead of knocking a few times or announcing housekeeping the lady just used her key card to open the door.

Except for the floor and microwave turntable the room was clean, no bugs.

The staff are friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The room was disgusting and the property condition was very poor.

Walked into the first room and the smell of urine almost knocked us out.

Our non-smoking room did not have any smoke smell in the room or on the bedding.

The room smelled like urine once we settled in for the night, so since it was late and we were tired we just tuffed it out and left in the morning.

Room had a stale smell and the carpet was slightly wet for some reason .

At some point someone took it upon themselves to change my reservation to a smoking non-smoking room.

They had 3 smoking rooms available, which were not adjoined so we would have been split across the hotel.

We got stuck with a smoking room, so the smell was very bad.

Unfortunately  the "pet friendly" room smelled like urine.

Room was a bit musty and had a pretty bad odor,

but the smell in the room was the worst part.

The room was clean BUT it smelled like mildew, stale smoke(supposed to be a Non-Smoking room) AND we had NO hot water for our morning showers.

There were holes in the sheets (which did not even feel clean) and the room smelled.

She placed us on the 2nd fl smoking room, it was terrible stinky and the carpet was gross, wet and moldy smelling.

We stayed on two different occasions and would have given this hotel a 5 had it not been for the distinct and lingering odor of smoking in our non-smoking room.

Asked for a non smoking room and got a smoking room it smelled like s*** the comforter was disgusting with cigarette Burns.

My husband is greatly affected by cigarette smoke, even stale.

Then he started smoking weed and the AC unit sucked it right up and blew it into our room with 4 kids.

The top of the toilet lid was filthy, as well as the toilet paper holder.

but what happened during my stay is disgusting.

(I didn’t know coffee water could out taste coffee!!) DISGUSTING!!!!

The carpet was damp (although there was a lot of rain, which resulted in flooding all over Knoxville, and the surrounding area), the chair was worn, with tears in the fabric.

The sheets were disgusting and had not been changed, had stains and hair on them!

Then I asked her if they had clean smoke free rooms available and she said she could “try” to find one.

This time though, alot of little things just added up to an ok stay. Our room (232) was really humid & had an odd odor( kinda like a wet dog??)

After being frustrated and knowing it was beyond midnight and we needed 5 hours of sleep, we pulled the bedding down and realize there were multiple cigarette burn holes in the bed.

Cleanliness of the room exceeded my expectations!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

I had a nice clean room, comfortable bed, a good hot breakfast - biscuits and gravy, ample parking, and a pleasant check in and out.

The whole building smelled nice and clean and the room was extremely clean.

Very clean rooms, great beds, great breakfast options, friendly front desk staff.I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the welcome cookies are a real treat.

All the hallways in the hotel smelled horribly of pot.The emergency evacuation route posted on our door was for the third floor not for the second floor we were staying on.

Smelled bad, dirty, lazy front desk, beds are hard as a rock, no screen in window and we had our $600 hitch stolen while the lazy front desk person was right by our truck.

Hotel smells very weird with the rooms having a musky moldy smell.

Bed comforter was lumpy, bed spreads old and room smelled of mold.

The bathrooms needs a DEEP clean (mold on the ceiling and in the tile grout) and the comforters should be burned that are so stained and oily.

Or, the room may have been a smokers room at some time in it’s past and they just couldn’t quite get all the smell out.

It had a machine oil smell and the exercise equipment needs repair, as it would not reset for a new workout.

Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke.

We had control of our room temperature so we didn't freeze or burn up.

The only complaint I had was that our hallway smelled like cigarettes.

Hallways were not very clean - there was a piece of trash in front of one of the room doors  on our hallway and it stayed there for three days -  I suspect the hallway wasn't cleaned for at least three days.

The elevator up was hot and smelled bad, as did our room upon opening the door.

The guys next door to us were screaming very late into the night.

Third thing wrong was the builder that installed the door on the shower did not seal the bottom.

.the maids wake you up in the hallways slamming doors at 7:30 a.m.

but found myself on the first floor near an exit door.

but I can barely move around that bathroom  It is so small that when I tried to close the bathroom door it would hoy my toes  The bed was especially bad.

My husband was with me this time and he couldn't believe that the staff knew my name as soon as I walked in the door and they knew my preference for my room.

The hallways feature dark paint and carpeting and the doors to the guest rooms are very scuffed.

Within 2-3 minutes someone arrive at the door and had the remote replaced and reprogrammed and replaced the phone with a new one right outta the box.

We had to ask them 3 times over 2 days to empty the overflowing trash bin outside the front door.

Three trips to the front desk to get a key that would open our door. Disappointing.

When we went to the room we put items in the fridge and noticed it had not been cleaned from the previous guest, there was hair in the tub and toothpaste on the back of the bathroom door.

From the moment we walked in the door until we left, every staff member we dealt with was nothing short of outstanding.

Sadly the toilet in 301 ran all night; had to close the door.

If you're used to Hampton quality, you will find nothing to disappoint, except a hiccup with the door locks.

The only thing that was bothersome, was there was a draft in the door that kept making a noise every so often,

The room did not have a second vanity area so getting  everyone ready for bed and dressed and out the door was a challenge.

I had a great receptionist, good fresh clean room, and incredibly fast internet.

Our room was very clean and we saw the staff cleaning the public access areas.

Clean rooms, everything works, climate controls good.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn Knoxville West was the best..wonderful service, clean room, good nights sleep in a comfortable bed & the breakfast was great..

Room I selected on the app was ready at check in, employees were pleasant, furnishings were in good condition, shower/tub combo in our two queen room, good sized bathroom, clean room (except for the couple of items in the mini fridge that were left over from prior guests), adequate breakfast, and easy highway access.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, fitness center, and an actual breakfast buffet not a grab and go.

Our room seemed clean and had lots of space.

Friendly desk staff wearing masks, clean rooms with stickers outside the doors upon check in,  breakfast served in containers instead of buffet style and designated clean or dirty pens/keys were common themes between 2 different Hampton stays in 1 week.

My guess is the filtration pump isnt working and no one cares.The carpets are old and stained.

Despite the clean rooms the hallways and walls in room looked very rough, carpet is old and towels are super cheap.

Stains on carpet, chair, pull out bed had chucks out of the mattress.

The carpets are old and dirty, 1970s gold.

The room was not clean, the carpet was crusty and disgusting, there were holes in the walls and the cabinets/drawers were mostly all broken.

Smells like carpet glue so it seems they may be renovating.

There were stains all over the carpet, scuffs and gauges in the wall, tiny holes in the curtains that were falling off the curtain rod.

Carpets in main areas were very worn and dirty.

Carpet was baby carrot orange and the refrigerator was dirty in back.

The carpets were stained, the rooms were filthy and the decor felt like we were in a time warp to the 70s.

Carpets filthy, room banged up, big stain on sheet.

Water all over the floor in the hallway from the foul indoor pool and carpet coming up in the hallways.

The rooms could use some updating as the carpet is worn and the bathroom shows wear.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot.

The clean rooms aren’t worth the rough, aged appearance in my mind.

Despite the less than inviting appearance, our room was clean and there was an adequate amount of towels for two adults and one child.

When we entered the hotel, we were unpleasantly surprised by the sharp smell of cleaning chemicals and bleach.

You can smell urine when you walk to the lobby washroom and garbage is flowing out of the trash.

Lady at front desk was either on the phone with personal calls or outside smoking.

Rooms were dirty and hallways smelled like cigarettes.

Room had a musty or moldy smell- particularly in the bathroom.
