Unexpected 75 euro (called as “mandatory fee”) was charged during check-out.

They have got two electric charged for electric cars

Their are many extra charges like for parking, Room cleaning, Breakfast.

RCI should direct Alpenland to include these charges up front before a person makes the booking.

The registration card must be filled out by hand.

But considering the cost vis-a-vis facilities, it is felt that the unit charges here are much higher than what you get elsewhere!

Out of repect to the customer who is already spending large amount of money, please do not charge for the two bottle of water in the room.

We asked the front desk for an electric boiler and received one without additional charge, which was wonderful--we are tea and coffee enthusiasts to say the least!

but had to pay for them; 75 Euro is a high charge for five nights of not using something.

They charge for 20 euros for wifi for first device and 10 for every other device, which is kind of silly.

Note if you leave something charging when you’re out of the room the maid will unplug it.

Housekeeping comes daily at no extra charge.

If you don't know were to go by Salzburgerland card.

(Though they could finally install free wifi in the hotel complex!! Charging several euros for a few hours of internet is ridiculous in year 2015)

Be aware, they do charge for almost everything.

There are electric bikes you can hire too for 39 Euros, it's a shame you can't hire them for 2 days for a reduced price.

This was part of an RCI exchange, and we were aware this is a hotel , and that there would be extra fees involved.

Thought the breakfast buffet and restaurant prices in the hotel a bit overpriced compared to those food establishments in the area.

Breakfast is very expensive at the hotel.

The Alpenland hotel is not cheap if you pay the full price,

but we never partook due to the number of us traveling mainly due to the expense.

but you have to pay 44 euros to use them.

There is no mention of these Fees when we booked our stay on RCI / Alpenland Sport Hotel website.

I do wish laundry was cheaper and that there was air conditioning in the rooms.

You charge too much for food arrangements, so we didn't use that.

The only negative for us was the expectation that we will have self catering option to reduce the cost by making our food.

US standards would not even rate it as a bed.

Rooms are very clean and bright with extensive upgrading .

Everything was as expected, great location, friendly staff, clean room.

Unfortunately when I notified half an hour before the meeting that the internet was very bad they did not want to share the local internet password.

Our only issue was the wifi service, which sometimes did not support streaming TV.

This was my first visit to St. Johann Im Pongau, and I was using my ownership week through ARI's Holiday Network.

Wifi was the only problem with frequent interruptions and low speeds.

*Wifi at 27 EUR for two devices is not cost effective.

Unfortunately the wifi connection was a disaster, we had to go in the bathroom to get a 2 circle receipt and when asking for a new password we couldn't get as too may users.

And finally; if I need to pay 18€ for internet connection for a week, I would expect quality and speed in the connection

There was no free WiFi  , no breakfast included in my redemption too therefore we needed to go out every morning for something to eat.

Everything in our room was hard wired into wall.

why not free sheets for sauna , why  only one sauna  open in   top hours -

This did cover daily cleaning and the wifi cost (advertised at 18 euro per week per device).

My only concerns for this place is 1 you have to pay 18 Euro's per week for WI FI and to be honest its dreadful and 2 as a none smoker  they allow smoking in Wally's bar which leads onto the restaurant for me these were the only concerns about this place .

We paid over 500 euro for one of their "apartments" which is a very badly maintained family suite.

One evening, we decided we would like to have a tea maker in our apartment so we could enjoy late night teas without going down to the restaurant or bar.

but the wifi system is open / has poor security and so was blocked by my work.

This really is a fantastic hotel with delicious food, lovely and friendly staff, great wine ;) and comfortable, clean rooms, it really feels like home here!

The hotel is cosy, good food, very helpfull and friendly staff, good wellness and clean rooms.

Our room was always clean, and we loved coming home after a day on the slopes to discover what we called "bed sheet origami": The duvets on our bed were arranged and folded in a different way every day and had a different kind of chocolate on the pillow.

We were a family of four and the two keys didn't work for us.

Do NOT go unless you are sure you will get a renovated room.

Avoid the non renovated family appartments, which are not so nice as the other very nicely renovated rooms.

The only thing which could possibly have improved our stay would be air con in the rooms as it was very hot during our stay

However, the room was baking hot - even when it was cool outside and the windows had been open for hours - the staff did not respind well to this feedback, implying that we were simply being difficult and bring 2 small and borken fans after repeated complaints.

The showers give you a choice of either scalding hot or freezing cold.

The ventilation system outside was a bit noisy untill 10pm.

Also the cot was really old and not comfortable at all - definitely worth 4+ star hotel. 2.

this is one of the best hotels , the rooms are great & clean , the view is amazing , the resturants and food are amazing .

I had to miss Berghof due to pandemic and when I arrived again, I had been welcomed as a old friend.

but with no success not surprisingly due to winter season.

Despite the fact that there were only a limited number of ski runs open due to lack of snow, we still managed to do plenty of skiing as well as enjoying the great facilities in the wellness centre and treatment rooms.

The bedrooms (we always have a room overlooking the pool) are beautiful, all in wood, nice and big, everything you could wish for, a bed more comfortable than ours at home, crisp white cotton sheets/quilt, spotlessly clean room and I mean spotless!

Great food (excellent breakfast and dinner), very good swimming pool and wellness area, nice and clean rooms, .

The staff were efficient and friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and perfect for a family of 4.

The room was clean, tidy and in top condition.

Spacious clean rooms with all amenities you need: hairdryer/bathrobes/slippers. .

Room was clean like all the facilities in the hotel.

The rooms are very clean, the pool and wellness are a quiet place to relax after skiing.

We had great rooms that were clean and attended to perfectly.

Room servicing (as opposed to Room Service) was variable: the room was always kept spotlessly clean and the beds turned down for us before we went to bed

The hotel itself is wonderful, with very comfortable and clean rooms, as well as excellent food in the restaurant.

but most importantly, two of our skis were stolen right out of the cellar storage space.

Downsides: 
-wi fi was not stable enough for working 
-too warm and humid in the indoor pool area regardless of the open door towards the garden
-small outside pool - both were "invaded" by children who made those their own "playground" which is not so nice when trying to rest or swim.

- The wifi is unsecured and disconnects every time you do not use it for 3 minutes or so.

The only thing the bedroom wall connecting to the next room is very thin, so if the people in the other room are noisy or have the TV on you can hear them.

one main comment is that the walls and floors are not sound proof at all, which is not appreciated at all when you need your sleep.

If drinks were signed to the room , no duplicate receipt was given, so it was difficult  to check the final bill.

Even if your flight is late - you can get shower after check out.

What is even more puzzling, the service was not consistent - sometimes the waiters (who are, btw, nice and friendly people) just forgot about our orders, sometimes they didn't show up for a long time, or it was difficult to attract attention to just sign off the check.

Lovely clean rooms, excellent breakfasts and a fantastic stainless steel pool.

Superb Hotel we had a lovely room cleanliness was exceptional.

The downsides were the noise in the rooms during the night when you sleep at the street side and the fact that the hotel is situated in the commercial city of the area and not in the middle of the ski area.

Overall the room was ok, nothing to complaint about it except the noisy street in front of it.

First, our room faced the street, and it made the sleep rather problematic sometimes as the traffic on the street was quite audible even with shut windows (and even during night hours).

but heard those facing the road could be noisy.

My only complaint is the extremely noisy road outside the hotel.

but the restaurant was below us, so we had to shut the windows initially at night but then opened them during the night.

The hotel which is situated right next to the ski lift has spacious, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and dinner.

Excellent cusine, spacious and clean rooms.

Food i fenomenal, rooms are very clean and personal is absolutely great!

It can be a real pain having to go all the way back to your room when you need a last minute visit, why not put a sign up?

Tap water is charged at 2 euro per carafe, it was warm, no ice, no lemon.

We stayed 5 nights there and had to leave two nights early because we could not sleep in our loud room, they could not give us another room and it was too hot inside.

but not the best I have experienced in European hotels, there was a limited selection of hot food.

Generally choice of a meat, fish and vegetarian dish every evening with wide choice of hot and cold continental style breakfast.

I am still wondering what was the point of "celery foam" on one meal!!!.

Only small criticism - don't bother opting for meal in downstairs bar - not worth it and poor service comparably and if you like a cuppa - take your own kettle - small spar shop opposite hotel to buy t bags and  milk.

The room was clean and we have no bad experience.

Excellent location , rooms are clean and of adequate size , and the restaurant is very reasonable with decent service.
