The rooms were clean, cool and comfortable on a hot summer day.

Our room was spotless  The bed and pillows were top notch, and the bathroom was immaculate.

Inside the motel, it is clear the housekeeping staff make it a priority to ensure the rooms are spotless.

The motel had thoughtful, caring staff and large, clean rooms.

Only wish the coffee maker in the room was clean.

I paid $49/night and was pleasantly surprised to find the room was clean and the carpet and furniture,

but cigarette butts everywhere, trash, cans bottles!

The carpet looked filthy and the bathroom floor dirt in all the corners.

Dirty,mold on back of shower curtain,no dead bolt, curtains and carpet absolutely filthy Bugs all over with laminated information card on midges ( 2000 different species! )

but the rooms smell like someone smoked in the room for years and they just painted the walls and called it a day.

While the rooms are 'cleanish" the house keeping staff does no favors by not cleaning very well (hair on the bathroom floor and debris between the beds and and nightstand - room M250).

Not sure how long it had been leaking, which would make someone be concerned about mold and then it dropped on the floor which could be mold as well.

.the hotel is old, so I expect every room used to be a smoking room.

When we returned to the room, it smelled like the bug spray.

I tried to get past the old nasty carpet, stained walls and flies .

Our room smelt awful to be honest and it was small and not very nice!

Another thing is, we forgot my husbands sunglasses in the room and we have to search for it  under the bed and there was a key underneath the bed and a piece of dental floss. yuck!

The room was in definite need of updating, with peeling paint and a bit of an odd odor.

The room honestly smelled like human waste.

Only the breakfast was quite a disappointment, featuring a very limited choise, and the juicer left a weird smell in the cups.

but there are no good dog poop areas nearby.

It was disappointing on entering the room as there were lot of giant mosquitoes and the room doesn't smell pleasant.

The AC rattled so badly it blew the cover of the control panel 3 ft away.

Then we had to fight with the A/C unit to get to a comfortable temp.

The elevator was not working, the air conditioner did not work, the TV needed to be reset.

I had accidentally left my AC cord for my  computer at our last hotel in Sacramento and was panicked about that.

The AC was not too noisy and kept the room comfortable.

My unit here also had a vibrating cover and I could not get back to sleep after 4:45 am.

We slept little because of the noise and as usual, the air conditioner was noisy as well.

A fan is on even when desired temp is reached so there's constant, soothing "white noise".

The only issue we had was the AC (I was not used to the type you get in most hotels in the US with no remote) it was a bit too loud and kept switching off and on.

One minor inconvenience, the air conditioner was loud when it came on.

The window opened, so we could have fresh air all night instead of a/c air and noise.

Air conditioner won't respond to commands.

but with windows closed and air conditioning on, room was soundproof.

but there was NO WAY they were getting that fan back until we left, LOL.

The hotel is right on a busy intersection so it is super noisy, eventhough we were facing the busy street, we just kept the fan on AC and did not hear anything.

However, in the middle of the night there was some kind of machine noise that was so loud and continuous that we had to close the window and turn on the AC (which was, itself) loud.

Many people, ourselves included, finally just shut the heater off.

Our a/c as others commented also had issues in that every time it kicked on, there was a sick whine that lasted for a minute or so.

I figured out how to turn the hot/cold off and the fan on - which allows the fan to run continuously to mask the street sounds and any noise from the hall.

The room was hot and if you turned on the A/C it was incredibly noisy.

Our room was very clean and up to date with a desk area and table which we could eat at.

The rooms were very clean and well appointed.

My room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Each time we head south to Las Vegas or Reno, we always come through Klamath Falls and stay at the Cimarron, clean rooms, breakfast and quiet.

Although the property at first appeared a bit dated we were overjoyed with our large spotless room.

I had a very good bed and the room was spotless.

This older hotel, tastefully updated, was just what we needed in every way after a 7 hour driving day: warmly welcoming to us and our dog, very clean room complete with mini fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, and ample dressing room area, refreshing good sized pool, super genuinely friendly personnel, and QUIET!!!

Cimarron Inn & Suites Klamath Falls

The bathroom floors were not well cleaned.

The room had all the amenities crammed into a very small space.

There was also white powder on the flooring, both carpet and tile which I'm guessing was deodorizer or something, since I also saw it in the lobby bathroom. There was nastiness (old dried food, dirt, etc.)

Shower floors were filthy and garbage was still on the floor from the last guest.

It's not a fancy place to stay - simple amenities and such,

Scared to look at the bathroom as other reviews note unclean bathrooms.

Dirty toilet tank  , something you saw when we just walked into the bathroom, yuck.

Shoulda made plans to stay with relatives instead of wasting money on a room without the amenities we thought we were paying for.

First room was not clean with a dirty, used towel hanging in the bathroom, a "clean towel" with a large yellow stain, dirty trash cans and a filthy phone with a used, fake eyelash on it.

My bed (was literally lopsided) and toilet were broke.

After the unpleasant check-in process was finished we went in our room to find used tissues, toilet paper, unemptied garbage cans, and a dusty smell.

If you want a dirty room (filthy toilets, hair in the sink), this is the place to stay.

Shower faucet was loose   Towels had holes in them.

The fan in the bathroom was broken and you can hear sound between the rooms.

Outlets didn't work, toilet overflowed took an hour to fix it, room smelled, the AC didn't work, the internet was slow.

There was pink mold around the shower drain.

initially planned to stay here for just a week (due to work per diem, was gon find a cheap motel) The rooms is clean and price is pretty fair.

After a long day of cleaning out a cabin, it was nice to land in a very clean room, put our food in the fridge, and take a hot shower!

As mentioned by others, this is an older style motel at the end of town, nothing too fancy from the outside.

People might be nervous because it's older looking

Since it's an older motel the heater was very loud

Booked online as we drove into town, and when we pulled into the parking lot and up to the office (which is part of the owner's home) this sweet older Italian lady opened the door to the office and greeted us.

I was surprised to find the Golden West rated #2 of 22 lodgings in Klamath Falls by Trip Advisor because it is an older, motor court "mom and pop" property

but our room was SO SMALL it was claustrophobic !!!

The room was on the small size which is understandable as it is a motel from the 50's/60's in the old single story style.

Every detail of the small rooms is thoughtfully laid out.

This is a 1950's old highway motor hotel  with small rooms which has been redone very nicely.

The rooms are small (as another reviewer mentioned), We initially wondered if noise from adjacent rooms would be an issue because a big festival had just ended and some of the festival-goers around town seemed ready to keep it going.

There are not enough electrical outlets near the bed, which means that we had to leave phones charging in other areas.

I have been charged $246.88 for an error that is easily understood and correctable.

Charged for 3 guests 2 of everything in room with threat to charge for missing things.

We have been traveling for a couple weeks and
Have been staying mostly at La Quinta inns because they are pet friendly and they do not charge extra.

Although we were not charged the "pet" fee, we did sign their "pet policy" which was fine

I cancelled on time to avoid being charged

Upon trying to check our of my 8 rooms they are now trying to charge me for all 12 after taking credit cards for the other 4 (parent rooms) and my credit card for my teams 8.

For the first time in our travels, our cleaner/hostess not only identified herself with a card

Then without solicitation they told me they would be refunding my room and that I would see it on my credit card in a few days!

One thing that I don't understand ,even after having a second explanation, is why they automatically withhold $50.00 of credit from your account at check-in.

but then they would have to charge for the coffee!

Our bathroom door had  holes in it when we checked in, call the front desk and told  the lady, she said don't worry I'll have it noted down and you won't get charged (BIG THANKS).

After finding out we had the wrong day for our reservation, we were able to get a room and not charged the "no-show" fee.

however, when I checked my credit card the charges were still there.

There were a few other reviews regarding their service and over billing.

So they charged my $136 a night for the other 5 nights of my stay.
