The AC rattled so badly it blew the cover of the control panel 3 ft away.

Then we had to fight with the A/C unit to get to a comfortable temp.

The elevator was not working, the air conditioner did not work, the TV needed to be reset.

I had accidentally left my AC cord for my  computer at our last hotel in Sacramento and was panicked about that.

The AC was not too noisy and kept the room comfortable.

My unit here also had a vibrating cover and I could not get back to sleep after 4:45 am.

We slept little because of the noise and as usual, the air conditioner was noisy as well.

A fan is on even when desired temp is reached so there's constant, soothing "white noise".

The only issue we had was the AC (I was not used to the type you get in most hotels in the US with no remote) it was a bit too loud and kept switching off and on.

One minor inconvenience, the air conditioner was loud when it came on.

The window opened, so we could have fresh air all night instead of a/c air and noise.

Air conditioner won't respond to commands.

but with windows closed and air conditioning on, room was soundproof.

but there was NO WAY they were getting that fan back until we left, LOL.

The hotel is right on a busy intersection so it is super noisy, eventhough we were facing the busy street, we just kept the fan on AC and did not hear anything.

However, in the middle of the night there was some kind of machine noise that was so loud and continuous that we had to close the window and turn on the AC (which was, itself) loud.

Many people, ourselves included, finally just shut the heater off.

Our a/c as others commented also had issues in that every time it kicked on, there was a sick whine that lasted for a minute or so.

I figured out how to turn the hot/cold off and the fan on - which allows the fan to run continuously to mask the street sounds and any noise from the hall.

The room was hot and if you turned on the A/C it was incredibly noisy.

but could see the breakfast area and saw juice maker with OJ, Apple Juice, and a 3rd mixed juice.

Full breakfast had lots of goodies to choose from.

The breakfast room was nice and large and had options for us despite her gluten-sensitive diet and my milk allergies.

The positive: Great hotel, convenient location, several restaurants within walking distance, excellent staff, great breakfast with pancakes, quiet room facing the back.

Breakfast was included in the rate and there's quite a lot on offer.

The facilities were clean and comfortable, the quality of the breakfast was outstanding, and most important, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very good if you got there before the locusts.

The hot breakfast was great for vegetarians with options for eggs, potatoes, pancakes, and oatmeal.

The breakfast they provide is outstanding.

Excellent hotel - great location, awesome staff, wonderful breakfast with an incredible selection of both hot & cold items, & great cookies in the evening.

Hot breakfast service was great and there  was a large dining area dedicated to diners/guests.

The breakfast area was crowded, and the food was okay.

Breakfast was in a large room behind the lobby.

Breakfast is included and while not a gourmet feast, there are breads, muffins and waffles, cereal, pre-cooked eggs and sausage, cold items like yogurt and fruit, coffee, tea and juice.

Free parking and breakfast was good with a nice variety of options.

Because of the pandemic, they are currently not offering their complimentary breakfast.

Sorry they have discontinued the free breakfast for now, hopefully it will be back soon.

Friendly staff, actually provided soup, crackers and cookies in the evening and a full breakfast in the morning, only regular coffee would have liked some decaf.

The free breakfast while limited on the variety, it had the best scrambled eggs and hot biscuits of the last 20 hotel visits.

The breakfast was fairly substantial, which is a good thing because the restaurant that was nextdoor is now gone.

The included breakfast was adequate and satisfying for our needs.

Cimarron Inn & Suites Klamath Falls

The bathroom floors were not well cleaned.

The room had all the amenities crammed into a very small space.

There was also white powder on the flooring, both carpet and tile which I'm guessing was deodorizer or something, since I also saw it in the lobby bathroom. There was nastiness (old dried food, dirt, etc.)

Shower floors were filthy and garbage was still on the floor from the last guest.

It's not a fancy place to stay - simple amenities and such,

Scared to look at the bathroom as other reviews note unclean bathrooms.

Dirty toilet tank  , something you saw when we just walked into the bathroom, yuck.

Shoulda made plans to stay with relatives instead of wasting money on a room without the amenities we thought we were paying for.

First room was not clean with a dirty, used towel hanging in the bathroom, a "clean towel" with a large yellow stain, dirty trash cans and a filthy phone with a used, fake eyelash on it.

My bed (was literally lopsided) and toilet were broke.

After the unpleasant check-in process was finished we went in our room to find used tissues, toilet paper, unemptied garbage cans, and a dusty smell.

If you want a dirty room (filthy toilets, hair in the sink), this is the place to stay.

Shower faucet was loose   Towels had holes in them.

The fan in the bathroom was broken and you can hear sound between the rooms.

Outlets didn't work, toilet overflowed took an hour to fix it, room smelled, the AC didn't work, the internet was slow.

There was pink mold around the shower drain.

The breakfast was well stocked and available from 5:30-9:30.

Great accommodations,  free internet, free breakfast, free parking, etc.

We were able to have eggs, sausage and waffles before heading out on the last leg of our road trip.

Breakfast was just ok. Wouldn’t stop here just to get a free meal.

I had a nourishing continental breakfast; coffee, waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage links before I head out for another 8 hours of driving.

The hotel was clean and breakfast wasn't fancy,

Most importantly everyone was so friendly and helpful the next morning while we enjoyed our complimentary hot breakfast, and one of the staff members even offered to help us jumpstart our car!

Hotel was nice and clean, updated guest rooms, friendly staff, and a nice breakfast (waffles, toast, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt etc) all for a good price.

The internet was good and breakfast was bountiful.

Staff was curt when we asked about morning breakfast.

The included Breakfast wasn’t operational at this time,

Booked a room here, showed up, and breakfast and pool was shut down days earlier by the health board, because of all the customer violations.

The COVID breakfast was exceptional, and I loved the way the hotel staff are handling the breakfast.

I have stayed here before and breakfast was decent.

Room rates are high for the small room and the location of the hotel in the city that has very little to offer.

Reason for rating - TINY rooms, maybe 10x10 and staff was cold.

The rooms are tiny and I questioned the cleanliness from the second I walked in.

We were suprised by how small the room was

Microtel does have small rooms at all their locations.

but I found the room to be rather small and though the bathroom was quite large in comparison it was clearly a cheap build.

Well price for a small room much like those in Scandinavia.

I didn't realize how small the room would be.

Given the hotel's price point, small rooms, lack of fitness room and location, I would not return.

Room was very small, looked nothing like the pictures.

along the edges of the walls and close to furniture indicating a worthless vacuum or who knows, maybe they just push the crap around to the edges and try to cover the smell with carpet deodorant.

Our room smelled foul as did the pool area.

but it did have a musty smell about it (it seemed to come from the bathroom and made the whole room smell) despite not finding the exact cause of the odor (maybe the bathroom fans don't work well).

There was hair in the shower, something on the sheets and the toilet paper holder was disgusting!

Room had stale smell, breakfast was poor.

The hotel breakfast was what you would typically expect.

The complimentary breakfast was nice and included bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, warm cinnamon rolls, bread/toast, yoghurt, apples and bananas.

They had a good selection of hot food, cereals, pastries, etc.

Breakfast is served, you tell them what you want and they provide.

Being on a family roadtrip, we saw a number of hotels and breakfast spreads during our travels - and we must say - the breakfast crew was the most friendly, and the most accommodating!

But this Holiday Inn actually had a nice staff person there in the breakfast area ready to dish you up your choices from their normal breakfast fare (eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, juices, coffee, tea, etc .

The hotel staff from front desk, to cleaning staff, to the breakfast staff were all super polite and very attentive.

The breakfast was cooked right and delicious and the coffee was good too.

The included breakfast had multiple offerings for all tastes, and the person keeping the servings stocked was, again, very pleasant.

This is a lovely property and the room was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate,

the hotel was very clean and the free breakfast was great.

The courtesy breakfast in the morning was fresh, hot and changed slightly each day.

Brittany hosted the complimentary breakfast and worked really really really hard to keep up with a high demand.

I also requested a room above the first floor and away from the elevators.

Only one elevator worked during our stay; the other was awaiting servicing.

Although we didn't get the top floor as requested, we did get a quiet location at the end of a hall next to the stairs, which we like to use instead of the elevator.

but Lift is big.Guest Restroom near the Lobby needs better maintenance.Good Hotel.

Asked for first floor away from elevator and that is what I got.

I have written in my online preferences that we like to be as far away from the elevator as possible.

It overwhelms you when you step off the elevator.

The one thing that was somewhat annoying was that I was placed in a room right next to the elevators which tend to be the nosier area of the hotel.

The elevators must have recently had belts changed because it screaches to a halt when it reaches your floor.

There was a bit too much fragrance used near the elevators,

I then took the elevator to the second floor..no ice machine.

For a short building (only 4 floors), the elevators are kind of slow,

Grateful, we got in the elevator only to realize their was a 4th floor.

but does have 4 stories with 2 elevators.

Elevator was fast and we never had to wait.

That nasty smell that seems to be a soup of body odor, mildew (or worse, mold), and airborne germs make you retch.

Over my 3-day stay I watched the hot tub get progressively more and more filthy.

I went to the room and I was hit with an overwhelming smell of air freshener.

but unfortunately it did not mask the very loud a/c unit conditioning our room.

However, the room had a very weird smell - a bit hard to describe,

With the exception of some mold in the shower area, this was a good place to stay on our way north.

The hotel was 100% Non-smoking and 100% No Pets, with a $300 fee for violations.

She promised that the smell would be eliminated, declining to assign a different room.

I was happy to hear that they are switching to a less toxic cleaning product in the future.

I do think the cleaning staff should change the cleaning towels, because there is always a faint smell of urine, leaving me to realize it's the rags used in 
cleaning the bathroom .

The stairwells did NOT smell like that, and, fortunately, neither did my room.

I didn't know until now that this is extremely important, even more important than water pressure because unstable hot water can burn you while you take a shower.

My only issue is the smell in the room which could be fresher.

We did notice the faint odor of mildew, in the bathroom,

The Hotel was not busy and we were the only ones at the front desk, we asked the usual questions, Non Smoking, no pet suite, higher floor, Automobile Membership,Priority Club --well the young man at the desk could not answer any of the questions other than availability.

Had a problem the first night with the noise coming from outside our window with a bus load of smokers and was awake until after 11.

It was super disgusting to hear all this.

There was a ring of mold and mildew around the inside of the tub.

They were doing construction: bathroom walls were being replaced and they woke me at 8:30 am, this also sucked,

However, the interior walls are paper thin.

The walls between rooms are pretty thin, so if you have inconsiderate neighbours you could have your sleep disturbed.

We had the wall thermostat set to 72 degrees, the room got to 80 before it kicked on, and then down to 62 before it shut off.

In addition to the shower curtain, there is a triangular plastic piece on the wall and edge of the tub to keep the water off of the floor.

Also in the room itself the walls need washing as there were moisture streaks down one wall.

It also did not have an option to just have the wall fan on for white noise.

As is typical for Holiday Inns, in my experience, there is not much sound deadening in the walls.

For some inexplicable reason, at least on the 3rd and 4th floors, the numbers jump around and the orientation signs on the walls are wrong.

but there were a couple of little glitches: 1) The bathroom door handle was loose; 2) The towel hook in the bathroom wall, next to the shower, was pulling out of the wall; 3) The A/C was VERY noisy.

However, the front desk person was very curt - not friendly at all during check in and the walls are paper thin.

When I went down to the lobby for breakfast, I was able to engage in conversation with other guests and a gentleman named Drew helped me made arrangements to get to Crater Lake.

The reception staff were kind and friendly, and the breakfast was an ideal way for us to get the energy to begin exploring Klamath.

Breakfast was beautifully presented and much larger than we expected.

The staff was nice and the breakfast was decent.

Breakfast was ok - no fresh fruit or anything

Continental breakfast in the morning is varied.

but at $49/night I could afford to go to a restaurant for a real breakfast.

Free breakfast didn't have all that much to offer.

breakfast and coffee in the early morning to start the road trip and talking with other visitors makes it a good day

It is very clean, friendly with a great breakfast.

It is basically bagels, bread, and cereal.

They offer breakfast- very simple toast, hot cereal, cold cereal, coffee, juices, pastries!

In my room the tiny single serve coffee maker didn't come with a compatible coffee filter.

The room was small and cramped and they stuck a 2nd bed in there blocking the closet.

Small room, train noise,4 AM, 5 AM and 6 AM.

That being said as far as the room it was small with patch work everywhere.

The room was very small (only slightly larger than the king bed), very dated.

As mentioned by others, the accomodations are basic -- the room is small

Do not stay here, I went to check into the owners other property and they cx my reservation without telling me, I got here and it’s super gross if I didn’t drive 5 hrs and my kids, and  rat poop along the wall

but cigarette butts everywhere, trash, cans bottles!

The carpet looked filthy and the bathroom floor dirt in all the corners.

Dirty,mold on back of shower curtain,no dead bolt, curtains and carpet absolutely filthy Bugs all over with laminated information card on midges ( 2000 different species! )

but the rooms smell like someone smoked in the room for years and they just painted the walls and called it a day.

While the rooms are 'cleanish" the house keeping staff does no favors by not cleaning very well (hair on the bathroom floor and debris between the beds and and nightstand - room M250).

Not sure how long it had been leaking, which would make someone be concerned about mold and then it dropped on the floor which could be mold as well.

.the hotel is old, so I expect every room used to be a smoking room.

When we returned to the room, it smelled like the bug spray.

I tried to get past the old nasty carpet, stained walls and flies .

Our room smelt awful to be honest and it was small and not very nice!
