We loved the attention to detail in our room, the warmth, peacefulness, cleanliness and the fantastic hearty breakfast.

The rooms were excellent and the breakfast was very nice.

Breakfast is available and you had a choice of 5 different options.

I walked in the beautiful streets early in the morning, only to come back to a refreshing swim and fantastic breakfast.

The proximity to the airport and shopping centres is a bonus.

To be made to feel welcome, comfortable and totally at home immediately upon arrival is special and I have no hesitation in recommending this special diamond in the diamond centre of the world.

Breakfast was delicious and the lodge was located right in the centre of Kimberley, only short drives from main attractions and shops.

Gardens are manicured with interesting corners and hidey holes and the swimming pool is always sparkling blue.

We stayed in Kimberley to visit the big hole and found this guest house on trip advisor.

We came to Kimberley to show our kids the big hole, and needed a place to stay.

In no time, her lovely helper Aubrey had helped me unhitch the trailer, freeing us up to explore The Big Hole & go out for dinner.

Kimberley is a great stopover between Cape Town and Jo-burg and 'The Big Hole' is a must-see.

We were eager to see the Big Hole and 75 on Milner is just a hop and skip from it, it is also close to the Diamond Pavilion shopping Mall so we were able to stock up for dinner and our next few days touring.

Arriving on a Sunday evening.. Our hostess Lene even scrambled around to find my husband an ice cold beer!!

Mosaic, fish in a pond, handcrafted aeroplanes near the swimming pool, and the list just goes on.

I enjoyed my "surprise me" menu choice each morning and the complimentary tot of sherry after a tiring day's work.

The breakfast was excellent with great menu including a cappuccino machine, cereals, special breads, etc.

Excellent food, staff was very friendly and accommodating.

They welcomed us and saw us to our room, ensuring that we were comfortable and recommending a lovely place for dinner.

EXCELLENT stay, food and having to socialize in the garden with a barbeque was just amazing.

The neatness and best quality of food, the friendliness of the owners and staff was amazingly excellent!

Rooms are clean and spacious and have a selection of meals at breakfast with a cappuccino machine.

Breakfast is the main meal of the day (as some tend to say) and this is certainly true for 75 on Milner.

She was welcoming and professional and even drove us to the Kimberly club to have dinner.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and you ate in the dining area which overlooks the kitchen.

The kitchen is intimately located within the dinning room, allowing all the aromas to entise your senses while you wait for your food.

..they even arranged for someone to pickup some food and beer for us.

Location is brilliant as it is close to the CBD and major shopping mall and restaurants.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and helped with dinner recommendations.

The supplied breakfast was excellent and generous and when given fairly specific instruction as to breakfast requirements, they were more than accommodating.

Situated in a great area, relaxing and comfortable rooms in a superb setting and a delicious dinner and breakfast.

Everything was wonderful;  the House, the gardens, the staff, the room, the meals (dinner & breakfast).

They serve delicious breakfasts (fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, etc with cooked menu options including delicious Eggs Benedict and omelettes)  and my husband also had a very tasty light lunch there.

And every time the pre-packed breakfast pack you supplied, because of my 04H00 Saturday morning departure, was a pleasant surprise packet.

They provided a packed breakfast as we had to leave very early in the morning which consisted of toasted sandwiches, yogurt and fruit, fruit juice and a snack.

Service was excellent (We were very impressed with Victor), the food great especially the breakfast, we love fresh fruit and pastries.

The accommodation can only be described as luxurious and for the cold Kimberley nights in winter, the electric blanket was a welcome addition.

It was very cold in Kimberley and I arrived late

Only criticism was big gap under door and wardrobes need a big of an update.

The only problem was that I had to keep the room door closed because of the location of the smoking area and could therefore not fully enjoy the view of the pool.

Sliding door into bathroom is slightly at odds with the quality of everything else - as is the underpowered hairdryer.

I was a bit concerned as our room was right next to the front door.

It's closer to everything in Kimberley including shopping malls, the big hole, university and parks.

The location is good for a visit the  The Big Hole Museum.

The location in a nice area of town near the "big hole" was excellent.

She informed us that it would be no hassle at all to keep our luggage while the rooms were being aired out, and we could continue on to the big hole and abit of sightseeing on the way.

Secure and central location close to all malls, the big hole and restaurants.

Easy access to the transport museum and diamond mine/big hole.

My man and I booked ourselves at Oleander Guesthouse as part of our Kimberley Hole road trip from Joburg.

What an experience in the place with the deepest pot hole in South Africa!

The guest house offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks - the gin and tonic by the poolside was just what we needed after a long day travelling.

The staff will look after you, the beautiful pool offers a cool swim on hot afternoon and a great selection of sun-downers can be enjoyed in the garden.

I liked that in the room there was all the equipment I was expecting such as aircon, TV screen, Dstv and services such as uncaptured Wi-Fi.

Small size pool available for cooling down after the blistering summer heat of the Northern Cape.

the air-condition in the room could not change the room temperature even adjusted accordingly.

The air conditioning is old, filled with dust and noisy!!

however the noise from he air conditioner made me very unhappy and even the previous time it was the same thing the air conditioner was so bad meaning all rooms if not most are in that state

The aircon though, requires a bit of getting used to as it is not necessarily the most discrete.

Aircon in our room needs replacing as it can get VERY hot in Kimberley and one needed the aircon.

It is winter at the moment so temperatures drop below freezing

Upon switching the aircon discharge a lot of noise.

At first I thought smoke perhaps it's air con filter or cleaning agents.

Enjoyed staying in the hotel, the hotel must invest in more on air conditioner, its noisy maybe get something of a bit silent air conditioner when its running considering that the place is a bit hotty.

on top of that,the air conditioner makes a lot of noise and it is very difficult to sleep with it turned on.

although the aircon is a bit nousy the room was nice and vool on a very hot day.

Improvement opportunities are : the decor is dated, ice buckets are not available in the rooms (the paper buckets at the ice machine are too small) and the aircon is a tad noisy (not serious though).

Aircon in room needs to be more powerful, due to weather.

The room (Suite) had a funny smell (wet carpet smell) that we established came from a Leaking air conditioner in the bedroom.

I am not particularly  a fan of spur restaurant I wish there was an option especially if one is tired and does not feel like going out.

Once in the room we found light bulbs missing and an air conditioner too loud to leave on at night.

The buffet breakfast was excellent as always.

The breakfast team gave me the most delicious veggie breakfasts (I don’t eat eggs) I have ever had!

Breakfast was to dye for with variety to choose from.

The stay was very good, breakfast was good.

Service during breakfast was good and food was fresh.

The room was clean, the dinner in the downstairs Spur was good, and the hotel breakfast excellent.

This quiet hotel has a 4 star look from the outside, a 5 star look inside, the rooms are just a 3 star and the breakfast is nothing more than 2 stars.

During my stay my room was cleaned, replacements done and I know exactly where dinner and breakfast was served.

The breakfast was more than I could ask for.

We enjoyed a hearty breakfast with friendly staff waiting on us.

I reported this to management who offered to move immediately me

but Alina and the manager Pearl made our stay memorable, the food was super, our linen was exquisite, if i were to rate the service Pearl gave us i will give 100/100.

Thus the Security personnel, the cleaners, management, staff in general, provided an exceptional service.

I stay at this hotel very often when in Kimberley for business or leisure, and they never disappoint.Warm & friendly staff and management, makes it easy one of the better hotels for customer experience.

Top managers who always want what is best for their clients, even assist clients with directions to shops and surrounding  areas accompanied by hotel staff member that's the first time I experience such hospitality.

The hotel pool serves to cool one down after a long day on the road, and the in-house Spur is always good for a family dinner with children.

The fitness centre was wonderful and the pool a treat since it was very hot.

My kids enjoyed the swimming pool which is located in a very safe place by the Hotel reception.

The pool is especially refreshing considering the warm weather of the Northern Cape.

I like that there is a fitness center as well as a well placed swimming pool.

I was booked in a  big room with a balcony and a view to a swimming pool.

I did notice a swimming pool and gym for those energetic guests,

The pool was big and clean (didn't try it due to the cool mornings).

avoid the road side of the hotel as it is very noisy and you need to keep your windows closed, so no fresh air during the night as trucks roar past frequently.

I could hear almost 100% clearly the conversation of the person next door.

To install a noise proof in the rooms to avoid noise which sometimes caused by couples especially when they have brought children.

Cons - extremely noisy, apartment building right next door a major problem with music and partying till 2 am on a Sunday morning, no place to rest.

I arrived at the hotel at 2am on Sunday morning, having flew into Kimberley, drove to Postmasburg and then Boshof for 2 shows, when I went to check in, Somandla greeted me very awkwardly at the desk, I told him about my reservation and could then see the panic on this mans face, I watched him navigate his way around the computer and noticed this man was actually shaking,

The guest who was next to our room was on the phone for about 30 minutes, We could hear that he was on the phone.

It is a little close to a hospital, so there is more emergency vehicles than I would normally hear back home.

At 01h40 on the 17 May 2018 I was awoken by noisy guests in room 219.

Tried checking out just before 8 am to miss traffic.

I left the light on my rental car and within a few minutes the security guard informed reception, otherwise I would have woken up to a disaster.

Was allocated a room next to the lift and that got me a bit  worried and guess what, had a ggodnight sleep with no disturbing noise from the lifts.

The staff is always friendly and the rooms are kept clean.

Booked a family room which was neat and clean as expected.

My overall experience related to the service received, cleanliness of the room and the dinning area, value for money, the location from my clients, quality of sleep at the Garden Court Kimberley was exceptional.

My stay was very good and peaceful, I believe this is the way it should be, the rooms are neat and tidy, everything was in good working order in my room.

I slept well n everything was orderly, the room was neat and the staff welcomed me with a huge smile.

Our eggs were done to preference, I chose poached and my husband, scrambled.
