Breakfast was exceptional every thing you could want.

Breakfast has lots of variety of food to offer include vegan choices and freshly made noodles.

Breakfast was immense, even the fussiest of eaters would be catered for.

The food was great loads of choice for breakfast and the Thai buffet night was excellent quality and value for money.

We took advantage of room service and the restaurants on site and the food was delicious.

The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of variety, even for vegetarians.

The breakfast is pretty decent with many dishes from international to local.

There is an on site restaurant where we had breakfast every day and dinner a few times.

Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, beautiful rooms, and of course the highlight is THE POOLS.

The staff were always helping* with them and providing them with bananas and other food.

We can the pool access room this time and it was very convenient with close access to a pool bar and restaurant.

Rooms are huge, the pools are nice, the food is great and inexpensive.

A fantastic place to stay  all the staff are so helpful and friendly  room was outstanding  pools were awesome and the food wow   cleanliness to the max   shuttle bus to the room (and beach ) the resort is a must go back too for me   i have to write 200 characters for my review lol

We ate dinner on several nights in the restaurant and again choice and quality very good.

I took a milk bath to help calm my skin and relax a bit one evening before dinner.

The food was excellent and Mandarava also offers Thai cooking classes with the hotel's chef for those looking to expand their skills.

In the Karon area, there are plenty of restaurants and shops so you can also walk around if the beach is not what you are going after.

That coupled with the amazing location, incredible facilities and the great and affordable food & drinks they had to offer really set the whole tone of the trip.

The rooms, food and facilities were equally amazing.

The noodle soup station was my favourite.

The restaurant, Mango Pool and Spa are very nice.

The cost difference was credited for use in the hotel complex and was used for room service  dinner and drinks etc.

There are a few shops down the road,  7-11, massage, a couple of restaurants and laundry services.

All staff were friendly, helpful and went out of there way to meet any needs we had.

The staff were so welcoming and loving towards our children.

The resort staff were lovely;  really helpful & very kind -  a delightful surprise when they delivered a pretty bunch of flowers to my room when I was unwell.

The whole resort is peaceful, beautifully landscaped with lush greenery everywhere and all the staff are helpful and welcoming.

The staff are the friendliest I have ever experienced, nothing is too much trouble.

The staff were friendly and all quite fluent in English, and were ever ready to go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure your stay is magical.

Staff are all exceptional and cannot do enough for you.

From the very first person we met at front desk, I believe her name was Lemon, to the very last person we met upon checkout - everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive.

All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Service is great and the staff very friendly.

One of the standouts for this resort was the staff, every single person we encountered were lovely.

I could not get over how polite and friendly everyone was.

All the staff were so friendly and kind and made a huge effort to make sure that all of our needs were seen to.

I will definitely be back, and am already missing the hospitality of the staff as im typing this review.

but starting to show signs of wear Chipped tiles , mouldy grout , shower door wouldn’t stay closed,  and the mini bar at times seemed to seal closed and was really hard to get back open.

tiles as soon as they are wet get extremely  slippery which i had a couple if slips during our stay. .

It had tiles missing and dark spots in the water, which made it look completely different and disappointing compared to the promotional material which was what got us there.

All three original pools still have issues with loose tiles,

There are a couple that are in need of a touch up as I found a few missing tiles

Tiles were missing from the floor of the pool and this could lead to injuries and cuts and the pool and surrounding area looked tired.

but there are a lot of mosaic tiles come loose and sitting on the bottom.

The only recommendation I have for the resort is to fix some of the loose small tiles on the floor of the Mango pool

During our stay we noticed some visible wear and tear (both on the buildings and, e.g., loose tiles in the pool).

Second sight reveals some worn off parts of furniture, missing tiles or seals in the bathroom.

but it would not suit those who have walking difficulties.The main pool while we were there suffered from tiles coming loose and the rooms are looking slightly tired.

The loose tiles were being fixed during our stay.

The only thing that they need to address is the loose pool tiles.

I do agree there are a few things that could be attended to, like the loose pool tiles and the slippery-when-wet wood near the Sala Bar,

The only downside is that the pools could use some restoration since many of the pool tiles has fallen off.

The resort also requires much needed maintenance and restoration from the scuffed up walls within the hotel room to the damaged pool tiles to the dated look and feel of the overall resort.

The pools are nice, the one near our room seemed to be a bit older or need more repairs (tiles and toilets).

Location is amazing too with view to the beach (with fireworks).

After one night in the deluxe ocean view rooms we moved up the hill to a two bedroom suite, a much more modern and acceptable addition to the hotel, spacious bedrooms and a large lounge with a superb view over the bay.

Our room had a nice big balcony to enjoy the great view over the bay and the bed was super comfortable.

The hotel is very big and beautiful and has a private sea beach and a good and clean swimming pool.

It remains one of the best hotels in Patong with a spectacular location on the southern end of the bay overlooking the lovely Patong beach.

The main pool is much larger and by the sea shore, and we had a odd days there, mainly for change of scenery.

This was first visit to Phuket, where the resort was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Patong, over looking the beach, nestled in the hills with a view of the bay.

We had a fantastic view of the sea and bay.

G. Lawrence, the whole experience was fabulous, the staff exceptional, rooms very spacious, with a wonderful views of the bay.

We stayed in a De luxe Ocean View room that was 30 feet from the sea and beach, with a glass fronted balcony overlooking the bay with palm trees giving you that all important bit of shade.

We found the clubhouse to be amazing —quiet, beautiful view of the coast & ocean, the most amazing service and great cocktails.

We were upgraded to the most beautiful ocean facing suite with uninterrupted views of the stunning bay.

The hotel is in an excellent location with great view over the bay.

Beautiful resort overlooking the bay, incredibly friendly staff, great location for walking into the town, wonderful breakfast buffet, lovely swimming pools, would highly recommend!

Right on the beach front and the view was breathtaking across the bay .. we requested a room on a high floor to take in the view and as you will see from the pics they delivered .. we stayed in room 7311!

The breakfast is very rich, provides both local and international options.

The restaurant and buffet was fantastic, great service the food was delicious,  authentic and fresh.

We enjoyed nice and delicious breakfast every morning.

We had dinner at the restaurant Rim Tala twice and it was delicious (try the pork Larb, mmmmm the best in Thailand) and the cocktails fabulous (make sure you are there for the happy hour from 5 to 7pm).Thankyou Thailand and Amari Phuket for a great holiday.

Breakfast with a panoramic sea view is really awesome.

Breakfast buffet was the same every day and if your stay exceeds 3 nights you’ll be bored as they didn’t offer any variety.

We were lucky to be there for a buffet dinner which had all you could eat seafood and international food.

Just had the best time at Amari Phuket clubhouse.The staff are second to none ,so attentive and always happy they work so hard all day in the heat.Miki and her team made our stay here one to remember.From service at breakfast ,through to lunch,poolside and Happy hour one to be remembered.Will definitely return.

Great pools, fantastic leisurely breakfasts with amazing choices.

Breakfast was provided each morning at The Clubhouse where we were well looked after by Monica & Wawa and the rest of the staff.

Club house access means having a choice of breakfast either at the clubhouse (quiet and serene with views over the infinity pool to the bay albeit with a more limited food selection) or at Rim Talay by the bay far below (huge spoilt for choice selection of tasty goodies

The breakfast spread is amazing & the staff is extremely humble & professional.

We were able to access the Clubhouse for breakfast, sit around the infinity pool and have daily one hour of pre dinner drinks & canapés.

A special mention to Chef Nida at Rim Talay at breakfast, you have made our stay spectacular and memorable!

Our deluxe ocean view rooms were a pleasant size with balconies,

but the staff helped us buy a temporary one from Big C. We recommend staying in the ocean view rooms.

We stayed in a deluxe ocean view room which had everything we needed including a great Ocean View.

I’m still dreaming about the view from our room.

A great view from our room, Access to the clubhouse with its majestic infinity pool, delicious breakfast, and free flow cocktails in the late afternoon.

Ocean view rooms definitely worth the small additional cost.

We stayed for 7 nights in Superior Ocean View room, and the view was wonderful.

Located right by the beach, I had an upgrade to the best sea view room.

The views from our room were breathtaking!

We first got to the hotel during a storm, and the check in experience was messy and not so good.

Incredible experience and the hotel staff were ALL amazing!!

And opt for club access rooms for a better experience.

Have no words to explain on how Amari is good at hospitality, would really love to come again.

It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.

The food and pool and beach near La Gritta was one that made the experience amazing otherwise everything was basic.

We have endured rather than enjoyed our time at Amari Phuket, the hotel, in my view, struggles to achieve a 3 or 4 star rating, so it beggars belief that Amari can make the claim on its website that this hotel is a 5 star experience when it is demonstrably not.

So overall the food & hospitality is great, there are various restaurants & street shops nearby at Patong Beach, where you can also do many water sports.

The views, service, food and hospitality was second to none.

Its excellent in all aspects:
Location is really close to center and is quiet at the same time.

I am writing this to reflect on my personal experience and the chain of events that happened to me while staying in the hotel.

After 2.5years of no travel, this was certainly a wonderful experience for myself and husband.

The staff is  genuinely friendly, warm and caring, from the kitchen to the Bamboo Bar at the beach.

but we had such a nice time with indoor activity at bamboo bar  .

There is Bamboo Bar next to the beach where you can order food and drinks.

but found the set menu to be too filling so the began to eat in the bamboo bar on the beach.

We also had lunch in the Bamboo Bar and all meals were hot and full of flavour, thanks to Sandy and the team for the great service and smiles, also Cafe Andaman do a fantastic menu for all

The Bamboo bar on the beach is great, 1st class service especially by Sandy she remembers everyone and their chosen drink, the food is good too.

From reception and the warm welcome, to the large rooms with a view, to the friendly staff who are always willing to help, to Panwa House and the Bamboo Bar, it was all wonderfull.

The Bamboo Bar was located on the beachfront and the little train was a great addition to get you up and down the steep hill.

The Bamboo Bar, Otters Bar, Top of the Reef, Panwa House and Cafe Andaman all have well trained service staff, groomed well and we have thoroughly enjoyed our meals everywhere.

We did try the bamboo bar for lunch, not bad, we also used the pool down by the beach which was nice if you wanted a dip and didn't want to venture into the sea.

We ate at Panwa house, Cafe Andaman and Bamboo bar and could not fault a single thing about the food, drinks and service.

The Bamboo Bar down at the beach is fine.

We have had lunch at the Bamboo Bar each day where Sandra is a delightful hostess.

Especially the lady who works at the bamboo bar, she provided such friendly and welcome service remembering my drink order every morning etc!

During our stay we ate at Bamboo Bar, Cafe Anderman, Panwa House and top of the reef.

We enjoyed spending time at the beach and the beach bar (Bamboo Bar).

Food is delicious starting from breakfast onwards until dinner.

The Cape Panwa is definitely in my top resort hotel picks , service excellent with well trained and firendly staff 
 Rooms were very comfortable , we enjoy our dining experiences also , Thai food was fantastic as was breakfast and western selections .

Whilst 5 star hotels have been increasing their offering, by making al la carts hot breakfast items a standard, Cape Panwa Hotel backtracked and greatly reduced their offering.

There are a few restaurants with delicious meals to taste Thai cuisine.

I celebrated my 60th birthday there, and they took care to make it special, arranging the table for 8 in a separate room which wore a festive look complete with table decorations and a delicious cake.

Breakfast was great and we ate at the restaurant a few times and that was great as well.

The buffet breakfast was extensive - way more choice than I needed - and eating breakfast while looking at the sea view was fantastic.

They have opened 4 restaurants (from 6 restaurants), Cafe Andaman is opened daily serving from breakfast to dinner.

The inclusive breakfast buffet is superb.

Foods are delicious, even free breakfast or paid dinner.

The staff at the Andaman restaurant are so helpful and kind both at breakfast lunch and evening and the food is of a high quality .

Throughout our time   the team remembered the smallest of details to make us feel pampered, from our favourite drinks, number of pool towels, room number at breakfast, to providing us with extra toothpaste when ours ran out before we even asked.

We will come back again in November we love everything here ,also highly recommend Panwa House restaurant is beautiful and super delicious authentic Thai cuisine.

The sunbeds are plentiful and well spread out amongst the palm trees, looking out across the white sandy beach to the sea.

We have stayed in this place for 4 days and everything was perfect, specially the private beach, fantastic views from the room, the food at the restaurant, all fine.

The private beach at the foot of the hotel can be easily accessed through the funicular which ferries people to and from the beach.

The result is located at the secluded tip of Cape Panwa with a private beach.

The location is nice have private beach..

Nice gardens, private beach, pool terrace, small gym, lots of spaces that you can use, I really can't say a bad word about the place.

I felt like the private beach at this resort very much.

A private car at no charge was available any time to take us into town and collect us.

The 2 bedroom villas are so easy for a family to share and the private pool overlooking the sea was heaven.

Compared to other private pool villa prices in Phuket we saw the price was also very good.

The small, private beach was pretty and there were plenty of sunbeds and lots of shade from palm trees (not enough to keep your beer cool though).

If you enjoy having one of the finest private white sand beaches on your doorstep, then the Cape Panwa should be your first choice if you intend  staying on the far south end of Phuket.

I stayed at cape Panwa Hotel and I loved the beautiful private beach and the amazing staffs specially the manager lady, Issara was very kind and help us through our stayed since I checked in and out.Excellent professionals.!!

The tram (furnicula railway) takes you down through wonderful gardens to a stunning private beach with a bar and restaurant.

The hotel is in the perfect location,with private beach that is not crowded.

Peaceful, beautiful surroundings and beautiful private beach, really good food and plenty of choice.

The old beach loungers are dumped behind the beach pool rotting away.

This room type is nightmare, it's old and smells too bad.

but they thought there was a smell in the room so they were moved.

but not as good and the was a food smell constantly in the room because it was above one of the restaurants.

Again this is partly down to lazy and disgusting customers

Some of the decking around the pool is rotten and needs replacing.

Personally we wouldn’t suggest visiting Patong or Bangla Street as it’s over crowded, lively, busy, a lot of shops, smelly, a lot of massage places & bars where I’m sure a lot goes on!

butt ends in this area all of the time which is not a good impression.

Our initial room on the lower floor of the U block was musty and only had views of trees.

Also there is a shop that takes all your dirty laundry and washes dries and you collect the next day and it smells beautiful!

You are then left to your own devices for about 3 hours, where there is not much to do, it STINKS of petrol fumes as there are millions of boats just idling in the water.

However there are not enough sun shades so if you don't get there early enough you will burn to a crisp.

The sunbed mattresses are old and dirty with sweat of other guests.

but as soon as we walked in all that hit us was a damp musty smell   .which i think may be from air con .

Smoking

The smell of smoke in the hotel is everywhere especially at the pool.

Parasols  are old and mouldy, quite shocking!

Smoking - Sensibly this hotel do cater for smokers and non smokers so hopefully everyone is happy.They have divided the restaurant into smoking and non-smoking and other smoking areas are clearly marked.

I stayed for eight nights and after complaining on the first night that my room smelt bad I was moved in the morning to a different room, that was my one and only hiccup resolved.

Most disappointing was the fruit on offer, given what is available locally. Also not good that smoking is allowed (in one section?)

There is a new manager at Panwa House Thai restaurant (K. Monthip).
