I would like to add Discerning Collections are still advertising Molton Brown toiletries even when we let the representative know this was no longer the case.

Therefore you are mis-selling to your customers and only upon staying, no doubt they will be a little disappointed as I was, or in some cases perhaps not.

although large room there was only a small wardrobe and no drawers for clothes so kept things in suitcase.

Hotels worldwide are renown for way over charging unlike most cases this wasn't one of them.

Well considering the prices they were charging, we bought them from town and hid them in our suitcase.

Tonight I found out, I had been into Kas  and had a lovely night on my arrival at my room I noticed my bag had been opened where I have my dietary nibbles as the hotel do not offer wheat and dairy free snacks nibbles.

but would probably not return, citing a staff who were polite, but in some cases distant, and a general lack of atmosphere..

Bus service into Kas 3 times a day and free which is not the case with other hotels.

It was possible to remove the duvet from its case

This was the case with us when the aircon stopped working after a storm one night.

When it did finally arrive it was damp and not even folded - just thrown into a bag

Some things to keep in mind:
-Kas is too far to walk to, it is a 5min drive and they have shuttles 2x per day
-they have day excursions 
-Most of the rooms have plunge pools some much larger than others.

Helpful, friendly staff with a big smile all the time.. My partner and myself had Turkish bath and Bali massage.. Turkish bath was not one of the best one

They were friendly, helpfull and always smiling, always asking if we need anything.

but equally friendly and works hard to make your stay a good one.

The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful and made every effort to make sure my stay went excellent. Add to that the bustling centre of Kas with many restaurants and outdoor activity providers (visits to historic remains, diving, boat trips, .  )

Hotel personal and staff was very friendly to us.

Salman and Cherry were our main servers and they were AMAZING - nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly, kind, generous and professional.

He was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home from the get go.

but the staff make up for this with their friendly approach, be  friendly with them and it will be returned.

Because it's a small place you will get to know the staff well and they are friendly and accommodating.

Tv remote was missing and sunbeds on the room terrace were stained with oils, sweat and etc.

Parts of the decking were rotten and quite dangerous.

Upon arrival we were offered Opal room which was tired and damp and declined.

In the previous review Alisdair mentions sign saying not to put toilet paper in W C this is standard for Turkey as the drains are so small you can block them if you flush paper down them.

however Bathroom showing signs of mould & damp & mirror above bed takes a bit of getting use to.

You get four slices of meat for two people, peeled tomatoes that aren't fresh, very standard quality of cheese and no fruit (the only fruit was in the buffet and the melon that was served to us wasn't ripe)
- The coffee is terrible filtered coffee that has been left to sit too long and is bitter
- The sugar sachets have been left in a damp environment and it is difficult to remove the sugar from them.

but I would think housekeeping would then empty it a couple of times a day to keep the bathroom smelling sweet - not so.

One of the guests did slip on the stairse whilst we were there and had a nasty fall.

-one night there was a foul smell that came up throughout dinner.

If we had to pick faults which is difficult - too hot in the small gym and occasional slight waft of sewer smell here and there (but not nearly as noticeable as other places we've been in Turkey).

There the terrace for the restaurants stinks like toilet.

First of all , I would like thank all unforgettable staffs who provide excellent services and a sample of hospitality.

All the staff were really helpful and accommodating.

but I can say, the receptionşst staff along with bar and restaurant staff were polite and helpful.

though and they kindly gave us the option of two rooms on arrival.

We arrived for breakfast two mornings at 8.10 and the staff were only just putting things out.

We were greeted and taken care of by a lovely man called Salman.

from shabby beach towels (and lack of) to ripped dirty sun loungers and broken pool tiles in our room.

Stained towels, even if they are clean, 5 star?

Some of the clean towels and robes had big stains on them, surely should have been replaced?

No thought for water conservation as towels and sheets washed everyday with no choice.

There was a strong wind one evening so they found Turkish towels to put round our shoulders!

Housekeeping standards not good on sunbed liners & towels had clearly seen better days

This hotel has definitely seen better days , I wouldn’t recommend, & as a previous reviewer has stated it is overpriced - there’s far better standards in Kas for a

We were without water on 4 occasions in our room, the towells were old, marked and scratchy, we walked past room service trays that on average were left for at least 24 hours before being cleared away and their general communications need to improve.

The room service was poor, chairs and towels were not clean.

I have seen this before and would totally understand it if their towels and robes were worth taking?

On several days we were given scraggy looking bath mats / towels with holes in. Despite leaving a note asking the maids not to change our towels every day, they gave us 4 new (sometimes holey!)

You had to put loads of towels down when you got out or else the floor in the bedroom got soaking wet.

like the luxury black air conditioned minibuses that transport you everywhere, with the free bottles of evian on tap, the molton brown bathroom products that get topped up daily, the endless supply of fluffy towels at the poolside, the incredible cocktails,(try a banana daiquiri) the tapas at the start of every meal with a tiny grill to toast your bread on, and the restaurant location with the most incredible views into cool blue bay waters I've ever seen! .

The villa was cleaned every other day and the bins emptied / towels changed on the days in between.

Towels were plentiful by the loungers and people did put books etc out early

The room services can be a little sketchy, with tea bags/beach towels not always being replaced,

it is a 'boutique hotel' and certain things are lacking to give the real 5 star feeling ( ie no clean towels in the evening/turn down service)

A small boutique hotel with super friendly staff and great food, it is perched on the sea front with lovely deck for sunbathing and swimming.

I went to Kaş with my friends, allow me to say that the best choice we have made is staying at Lukka, its really beautiful, clean, neat and it's beach and view are just astonishing, starting from the receptionist warm welcoming to their services,Salim & Karam seriously I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for us, I can summerize this by saying, see you next year guys, you made us feel welcomed and you were professional up to notch.

I'm very grateful to the young man (employee) who picked and peeled a prickly pear (native to the region) for us to taste for the first time, and to Tuba hanim who was so helpful throughout our stay.

The guys at the reception are always willing to park your car.

All the staff were so lovely Tuba was so helpful and went above and beyond to help with anything.

Tuba and Abdullah were always available if we had any questions for them.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was super hospitable and made my stay very relaxed.

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful, while there is some room for improvement what concerns hotel amenities and cleanliness of the venue.

but some of them were ok. Not exactly friendly but ok.

However, upon arrival we were given a room somewhere in a ugly maintenance building close to the reception where the bed itself

I totally understand If hotel has housekeeping or maintenance issues here and there.

The facilities need maintenance, there isn't a metal piece that has not corroded, wood piece which is treated.

although in need of a bit of maintenance.

Service may be a little disjointed at times and the maintenance of the grounds and property need a little attention

Management were contacted and a third room/villa was offered and accepted.

but Manager of Alacati, who is there to "help" is so mean.

Hopefully hotel management takes my comments seriously and work on it.

But above all the managers attitude was very rude, very unkind.

Finally the staff were shocking, not interested in service with a smile or service of any sort
To the management, just a suggestion- get your staff to walk around occasionally offering to bring drinks etc, just a thought to bring some service to the paying customers

Manager in office surly and on occasion, downright rude.

There seemed to be no duty manager or hotel manager that we could identify.

Hotel looks old and management is not great.

I would NEVER go back to this hotel with this management.

The hotel manager seemed more interested in spending time fishing or kayaking than actually managing the hotel.

If the management pays attention to these two factors, it could be a lovely place to stay and enjoy!

Sadly I have to concur with a recent review and say a distinct of management presence has allowed a couldn't care less attitude to flourish and there is an air of neglect about the resort.

Throughout the evening, the manager could not be found.

I mentioned the cereal to the manager who straight away said they would address the problem; I do appreciate when people take your complaints seriously.

The Barbarossa on the other hand needs a make over and needs a fresh pair of management eyes to see what we saw.

After telling the manager about our horrific experience, she offered us a deluxe room for the same price that we were paying at the other hotel.

The lady -manager- referred to in the previous reviews was not there.

The food was very average, staff inattentive or interested.

I stayed at the hotel with the Erasmus team.

Guys, who are responsible for managing the property, I wish you all the best and hope you take all reviews into consideration.

Parking is a challenge due to steep hill and very little parking spots
No towels after certain hour during the day for beach use
Lots of broken stuff such as a horrible rusty, slippery ladder to enter the sea, broken beach shower stand, and many more.

but no hot water, out of 3 pictured swimming pools one is open the rest are drained due to broken concrete.

but not enough for all the hotel guests/sun beds and most of them were broken with iron poles sticking out.

Mind you, I think we were a bit unlucky with our room; the glass on the toilet door was broken, also there was a broken lamp hanging on the wall.

The plugs for the 2 sinks were missing and the plug for the bath was broken.

The Hotel Staff is really friendly and give their best.

The property came recommended to my friend and me, and what a great recommendation it was -- tranquil, clean, friendly, remote, and breathtaking views in every direction.

The room doesn't have insect netting on windows so be prepared for mosquitoes.

Who can resist to sleep with their window open when the temperature is mild and you can hear the Mediterranean whispering at your feet?

There were blinds in front of the window,

Lots of orange curtains everywhere and orange organza piled up on the small table.

We had many little niggles such as: no shower gel and only half a used bottle of conditioner with the 'luxury toiletries'; office staff spoke very poor english and gave a poor service (although bar staff very good); lamp in room didn't work; curtains coming off their hooks; poor air conditioning; awful decor - our room had heavy blue walls with canary yellow curtains - yuk!!

but unfortunately the hotel is not up to standards at all: no hot water during part of the stay, no shower (just a tub), waking up with the sun (no curtains!

Unfortunately the blind was stuck in the closed position and could not be opened!!
