There was no mention at all of our booking of the Kastellorizo suite and the fact that this was not the room we had booked, so I checked my booking and looked at their website and went back to reception to ask why we hadn’t been given the room we had booked.

Many other strange things happened as well: we arrived by flight (the only one) at 08:00 and the room was not ready before 11:00.

When we arrived and saw the room we were really amazed by the size of the room and the decoration.

I arrived in Kastellorizo for a 1-night stay, and had not booked before.

So, we ended up to wake up at 5:30 in order to spend 1h30 in a 40sqm airport without a coffee/breakfast and with passengers arriving just some minutes before the departure of the flight.

An air traffic strike postponed my departure, in fact a week went by until I took the big slow ferry to Rhodes.

The staff were friendly and did everything to ensure our trip was perfect.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating; they give you maps, tips, help to arrange trips and transport.

As all residents, the people who work there were friendly and helpful, willing to give any kind of information for the best of your experience.

We booked last minute as we had a hiccup with our previous booking at a different hotel and right from the very first phone call Voula was so friendly and helpful.

Voula and Yannis were so friendly without being intrusive and the ladies that provided the cleaning and reception duties were fab.

It only takes 20 minutes from Kaş to Megisti and costs 25€.

The 2 hotels charge quite lot for what they offer, so there is no real value for money here.

AND no I am not getting paid for this I just want to pass this on to everyone to experience my1st time where my  ancestors came from.

Hot instant coffee is included in the room' s price, cold shaken coffee (frappee) is not, and charged 3,5 Euros!!

but having seen the beauty of the harbour view, we were determined to get a room with harbour view, whatever the cost!

The location, the staff, the room and all of the amenities were perfect.

Our room was perfectly cleaned as we enjoyed our huge and yummy breakfast each day, all the smiles and conversations were great and the thoughtfulness on our last day when we had the whole day to wait when our ferry was delayed until after 9.30pm was hugely appreciated.

What a place it is with its direct access to the ocean, superfriendly serviceminded staff and its location IT-sektorn on one of Greece most well preserved and well maintained island.

It is a family owned and run boutique hotel and Elina was a great host, helping us in everything with a bright smile.

A quite location, overlooking the sparkling waters of the secluded water of Kastellorizo  withs its fishing boats and tavernas.Swimming off the hotel patio via steps, is a delight with reclining beds to soak up the warmth and enjoy a glass of wine served by the charming hosts and staff.

The hosts are wonderful, helpful and kind, especially Elina, the girl at the reception.

The breakfast is a real treat with so much to choose from and all delivered with a warm smile and information about the island.

The hosts are fantastic, and the room is CLEAN!!

DURING OUR WHOLE STAY THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND TO ADDRESS OUR COMPLAINTS AND ASSIST…..EVEN WHEN WE LEFT THERE WAS NOONE AROUND, NOR DID WE KNOW WHERE TO CONTACT THEM….YET THEY WERE QUICK TO CHARGE US THE HEFTY COST OF OUR STAY!

You can never know what he would try to charge you.

The host has good english and is very friendly and helpful.

Very kind and helpful in organising our stay in Kastellorizo.

My host, Nektarios, was very helpful and I would definitely return to Karnayo given the chance.

Our stay in the apartments was very welcoming.

The room was comfortable, well air conditioned and new towels and linen we're provided every day.

We went to a tiny island nearby by Kostas' water taxi on several days and swam at St George.

There was no kitchenette as described at the time of booking, which is very misleading and deceptive…although there were plates, cutlery and drinkware in a cupboard that looked like they came from a thrift bin (stained and dirty looking!)

Abbiamo passato undici giorni in quest'isola fuori del comune ed in un appartamento incantevole, comodo e servito da tutto quello che può occorrere per una vacanza perfetta: spazi ampi, panorama, gentilezza e disponibilità da parte della coppia che gestisce gli appartamenti, silenzio e mare vicinissimo se non si desidera andare in barca o a piedi a visitare il resto dell' isola, tutte cose che comunque abbiamo fatto con molta soddisfazione, anche perché Antonis, a richiesta, ci ha portato in qualsiasi posto volessimo andare.

In addition, you can ask for advice anything without any hesitation from Mr. Andonis and Mrs. Christina, an island-dweller couple and the owners of Mandraki Paradise.

Mandrake Paradise and it's owners Mrs.Christina and Mr. Antonios welcomed me so warmly.

The owners, Antonis and Cristina were constantly available and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable to the end.

Anna our host (via Airbnb) was so helpful and met us at the tiny airport ( you can also catch a ferry to the island) and dropped us back when we left.

It is more quite than other places in the center.

Anna, the owner, is very very nice and friendly!

Any info you need just ask her and she is very accommodating.

An amazing place to stay, with an amazing host.

Irini who owns the studios was very kind and friendly and she would serve us breakfast every morning in her restaurant, Little Paris.

Lovely little place to stay, our host Irina was lovely, and very friendly and helpfull.

She cooked us breakfast in the morning and was accomodating when we needed a late breakfast after an early morning boat trip to the blue cave.

The rates were very good compared to others and our host, Irini was absolutely wonderful.

Goat bells from the mountain are the best tune accompanying the breakfast on the balcony.
