Our room was very comfortable, and when we had issues connecting to the wifi from our room, Adnan set up another router to make sure the problem was fixed.

Not sure why the owners do not buy felt or fabric to fix this issue.

The guests should not except big rooms; especially the bathrooms are small.

The big room was air conditioned so if you want air conditioning you will have to ask for it as you book I guess as my daughters room didn't have any.

Spotless clean rooms, little balcony, great home cooked delicious treats for breaky and a fridge to put drinks in and a top level terrace to chill and watch the world go by.

Lovely, comfortable and clean room, very nice and accomodating staff, (no issues with leaving our bags at reception), excellent location and great buffet breakfast (included!) Would highly  recommend :)

On arrival to Kas (in the middle of Bayram festival) I was told all rooms were booked in the town.

•	Club Barbarossa did not do any maintenance to the property in any shape and form since 2016.

However, upon arrival we were given a room somewhere in a ugly maintenance building close to the reception where the bed itself

I totally understand If hotel has housekeeping or maintenance issues here and there.

The facilities need maintenance, there isn't a metal piece that has not corroded, wood piece which is treated.

although in need of a bit of maintenance.

Service may be a little disjointed at times and the maintenance of the grounds and property need a little attention

Management were contacted and a third room/villa was offered and accepted.

but Manager of Alacati, who is there to "help" is so mean.

Hopefully hotel management takes my comments seriously and work on it.

But above all the managers attitude was very rude, very unkind.

Finally the staff were shocking, not interested in service with a smile or service of any sort
To the management, just a suggestion- get your staff to walk around occasionally offering to bring drinks etc, just a thought to bring some service to the paying customers

Manager in office surly and on occasion, downright rude.

There seemed to be no duty manager or hotel manager that we could identify.

Hotel looks old and management is not great.

I would NEVER go back to this hotel with this management.

The hotel manager seemed more interested in spending time fishing or kayaking than actually managing the hotel.

If the management pays attention to these two factors, it could be a lovely place to stay and enjoy!

Sadly I have to concur with a recent review and say a distinct of management presence has allowed a couldn't care less attitude to flourish and there is an air of neglect about the resort.

Throughout the evening, the manager could not be found.

I mentioned the cereal to the manager who straight away said they would address the problem; I do appreciate when people take your complaints seriously.

The Barbarossa on the other hand needs a make over and needs a fresh pair of management eyes to see what we saw.

After telling the manager about our horrific experience, she offered us a deluxe room for the same price that we were paying at the other hotel.

The lady -manager- referred to in the previous reviews was not there.

The surrounding and the place like a paradise, green garden, sea, pool, pure nature and water, spacious, tidy rooms.

Then i can say, they made a great job during covid, staff is very careful and cleanliness of room is better than expected.

The room was clean, the open buffet breakfast and open buffet dinner was delicious and the views were breathtaking.

Best value, magnificent view, delicious food, helpful stuff, clean rooms, very comfortable beds&rooms, hot water all the time, safety, fun.

Since I booked directly, they asked a deposit payment of 300 TL from me and my friend.

In summer the bed just comes with a towel like cover/blanket, we went to reception and asked for a sheet which is much nicer and softer to cover yourself.

but never once asked our name, asked us where we were from, why we were in Kas, etc.

Then i went to the reception from fourth floor to ground floor and i asked when the water would come.

The hotel is lovely and clean, very clean rooms and bathroom.

Rooms were clean and the view was amazing.

What a wonderful time we had, rooms are excellent with views of the Kas marina, very clean rooms with split system Air.and very frienly operators  (Ersoy & Huriye)lovely Turkish breakfast or the western style every morning, almost on one of the best crystal clear tiny beaches (Küçük Çakıl beach) we have ever seen, cold spring water booling out of the sea water.

The Hotel Linda has apparently had extensive renovations this year and my room was clean, modern and comfortable.

Security was poor as the door from our room onto the very small balcony could not be locked because the key had previously been broken in the lock (agile person could easily climb onto the balconies), and there was no safety deposit box in our room.

As a single girl I was also unhappy about the security in the room and there was no way to double lock for the inside, and all I could do to make it a little more secure was wedge one of the plastic chairs from the balcony between the bed and door.

-As has been mentioned already in dozens of other reviews here, they do not provide a top sheet, and only one tiny cotton waffle blanket that barely reaches the edge of the bed.

The beds were hard and the sheets were rough.

Room size was ok and the sheet on the bed could have been bigger.

The beds were small and not comfortable at all, very thin sheets and the covering was not wide enough for the bed, hot water was virtually nonexistent, when there was hot water it dribbled out of the shower head.

My room has two single beds pushed together and each was made up with one sheet and one thin (rag-like) blanket which, as an Australian, was a very basic combination and considerably less than I have found in any other country.

The only downside was that the WiFi was quite bad and inconsistent plus there were a lot of "party goeers / later night people" making a lot of noise slamming the doors.

Wifi performance in the rooms on the other side was nonexistent.

The wi-fi works slowly, as it does in most hotels I found out.

although I had to go to reception area to connect to WiFi (and like most hotels - power to room goes out when you are not there so cant keep cold drinks in fridge).

Only down side was the wifi was patchy, and you often couldn't get it in the room.

She said "The hotel has been modified recently and telephone connections haven't been connected yet".

Just furnitures are very old and need renovation.

However, the furniture, like the rest of the hotel, is so old.

At first glance the lobby looks dated with all the dark wood furniture

I would advise dont write this hotel off just because of the slightly dated furniture and carpet , and facilities in rooms.

but the pool and rooms were clean, breakfast is a buffet style with cheese, cold meats etc.

Rooms were clean and well sized, and the pool area is great.

Cleanliness of the room was very good 10/10.

The pool was clean and the rooms were clean to a good standard.

but the hotel is kept very clean and rooms are cleaned daily.

Our room was very neat & clean & affordable.

On arrival we were escorted to our large, clean room which didn't have a view of the sea.

The phellos hotel is basic, clean rooms and the normal turkish breakfast its not changed in all the years we have been going.

Overall I would say that the hotel was adequate - the rooms are clean, most of the staff say hello and I would say that the location is very good.

Again the rooms were very clean, we even had fresh flowers on the bed!

The big give-aways are the warning signs and the green matting around the pool - admissions that the tiles are a real problem.

but you can't put any of your own drinks or food in there apart from water, the maids will remove them and you will not get it back.

although there are numerous signs advising you it is not permitted to bring in food and drinks.

A few very small annoyances included no plugs for the sink or tubs disptie repeated requests, charges for orange juice in the morning and big signs stating we would be charged for placing anything in the hotel fridges!

A few days later, we returned to find a notice taped to the fridge advising us that if we put anything in it, we would be charged 10 Turkish Lira per day.

The room was tiny, dirty and I would have used one of the twin beds for my suitcase,

We had booked a room for two adults and a teenager of fourteen; we got a fairly small room with three single beds

There were occasions when there was no-one at the snack bar and I had to go to reception to get someone to get a bottle of water.

There is also a kiddy pool and in the season a water chute down to another low level pool.

but arrived back at approx 3pm and then took over the pool and water slide for the rest of the evening screaming and yelling so loud you could hear them in your room.

The shower was so powerful that the water pressure broke the head.

but the piece de resistance was the water chute.

but more than enough for our needs, beds were very comfortable, only advice would be to buy soft drinks and water from one of the newsagents in the town of Kas as minibar is quite expensive, hide them in minibar fridge but bring them in bags etc when cleaners will be in.

It was really annoying as it meant even when we did buy a bottle of water or wine from the hotel we couldn't save any for the following day.

Close-by is a shop manned by a little boy who has rip-off prices for water (6 TL for six bottles) whereas the same water goes for 3 TL on the shops 100 meter down by the harbour.

but there was none and no juices or water.

This even led one evening to a confrontation between myself and the receptionist, which ended when I said I was taking my bottled water to my room,

The so called mini bar was astronomically priced and you were 'forbidden' to buy your own water etc to put in the fridge having to pay a 10 lira daily penalty.

We said, two cans of lager and a bottle of water.

AC was excellent- very necessary as the temps skyrocketed to 32c during the day.

The airconditioning in the room was minimal to non-existent.

Next time I am in Kas, I will stay somewhere else, possibly in one of the pensions with a/c, and spend the money on daily trips instead.

The only downside that we experienced were the noisy  A/C unit in our room and when we sampled an evening meal we were disappointed as it wasn't up to the standard of the restaurants in town.

Find one with an aircon working and the rest was absolute bliss.

The pool bar was never open during our three day stay. 8.

Pretty terrace with a view to the coast for breakfast, very clean pool, clean and tidy rooms with good showers, tasty breakfast and downstairs lounge area to chill out - complete with books to read.

Especially the cleanness of the rooms and hotel facilities impressed me.
