Restaurant and breakfast was also really good, as well as the service.

Hotel restaurant is very good - we had 4 meals there outside of the the breakfast and I would say the highlights were the Salmon Trout, sausage lunch special w ginger sauerkraut and several items from the kids menu (worth asking about if you want classic comfort food in a smaller portion, chicken nuggets for example, very good).

Breakfast is wonderful with a nice selection.

Bad tasting coffee from a coffee-machine and juice that tastes worse than the cheapest brands in supermarkets.

One other small complaint is that the rooms are a bit dated in my opinion (carpet and bathrooms), and there's no kettle or coffee machine.

The on,y thing I was missing was no coffee machine/ complementary tea in the room.

For the price, you could wish for complementary water in the room, no annoying extra charges if you want another type of coffee for breakfast.

When we went for breakfast no one came to our table to ask us if we wanted coffee, when we asked if we could be served the woman was very unfriendly and told us that we have to ask.

The only single niggle that I could have is that the waiter was never pro active in offering us tea or coffee, we always had to track him down.

One small suggestion: provide a kettle to make your own coffee and tea.

The waiter looked a bit upset when we asked him to make two cups of latte.

The hotel is also friendly for parents with children.

We arrived to the Savoy with our 1 year old daughter and stayed in the Junior Suite.

My son and I spent a wonderful weekend here.

After arriving we get very warm welcome , we find small surprise for our son .

Just a very perfect experience, from the room, the reception off my son and dog, with small gifts and letters for them.

but also family friendly with all sorts of nice touches for children.

I appreciated game room for children, unfortunately we hadn't chance to try relaxing zone.

My a bit needy American children had many special requests, all of which were provided with a professional service and a genuine smile.

Since it was easter holiday they had decorated each bed with "Welcome" and the childrens name, teddy bears, chocolate and juice.. and wine for the adults.. all this to the delight of joy for all of us.

There was also kids equipment in the room (kids pillow, blanket, colouring book, kids footstool etc).

but it seems the hotel is very kids friendly as well.

Room including rollaway bed for our son (with fluffy bear, colouring set and small juice - really nice touch) was spotlessly clean, large and very comfortable.

We were spending time with our handicapped daughter and assistant dog and all service,care were just perfect.

Great facilities for kids, toys to play with, sweets galore and catered for well in the restaurant.

Staff were great and one of the restaurant servers remembered me and brought me the English menu.

Perfect stay, friendly staff .Loved the restaurant, amazing food and perfect service.

We had a nice stay at the Savoy, reception staff were very friendly, and restaurant staff in the evening also.

There was especially one guy in the restaurant the whole familen felled in love with Fran.

The restaurant and staff there is also on very high and professional level.

Service in the restaurant is as professional and up to the highest standard as at the hotel itself.

The costumer service was excellent and they went out of their way to ensure our stay was good.

The restaurant in the hotel is well known for Prague visitors and citizens and the quality of service and food was probably slightly better than in the capital.

We regularly visit this hotel during the summer from several reasons : location few steps from the town center, very nice rooms at reasonable price (during summer), good service and nice and attentive staff especially at the reception.

The service was absolutely outstanding and, despite having stayed in a lot of five star hotels, we struggled to think of an occasion where we have received better elsewhere.

Our kids enjoyed the children playgrounds and we loved the newly renovated wellness area with Jacuzzi.

Staff in all areas were excellent, super helpful reception, great restaurant staff, bar service great.

It has a very spacious lobby and bar area.

The spa area was nowhere close to what is shown on the pictures.

Great views of the valley and the Svaty Petr area.

Tons of kids, especially in pool area(where noone is controlling them).

All the rooms overlook the valley and St. Peters area.

Apart from  spending time on the slope, we  swam in the hotel swimming pool, and warmed our cold bones in the wirlpool.We played table tennis, had a go in the bowling alley.2 years old girl loved the childrens playing area near to the snowboarding bar.

The buffet breakfast and dinner were delicious and option to make a lunch to take with you on the trip is just a very good idea.

Additionally during the breakfast buffet they already invite the guests to make sandwiches to take away for the day, providing little paper boxes.

The restaurant, on the other hand, is a battleground for places where finding a clean table is an art, the quality of food especially at breakfast is very cheap, the wait for coffee is long with one lady operating the coffee machine.

We spend in Orea hotel almost one week and we really recommend it.Big choice of breakfast and dinners,you find there whatewer you want.If you are not interested in budget,you can go for a dinner a la carte.

Regarding food, it`s really delicious, even for kids, I have to add that I really recommend cheesecake with coffee if you get time for a break ;) Swimming pool is perfect for everyone,  And I almost forget, there is a lot atractions for children, such as animation and play rooms.

I would recommend that no one ever stays at this hotel unless they enjoy being treated really badly by the staff eating pretty much inedible food, not sleeping and then being overcharged for the experience!!

This is a larger hotel and has nice breakfast buffet, pool and game rooms for the kids.

It's borderline animal cruelty and It just doesn't feel right.

I rate the cuisine standard as high class and even during the covid times we did not have the feeling that selection of meels would be reduced.

The ski room and lockers make you feel you are at a horror movie.

Otherwise interiours are a bit too dark and gives you (or to me) a bit depressive feeling, entrance give you feeling you are back in 80s.

but he assured us that this was completely normal and that the boots should feel a little 'snug'.

Hotel is very old, and you can feel it everywhere.

Frankly speaking I have a mixed feelings from this hotel..

The hotel itself i felt was nothing more than average in every respect and very dated.

But the rooms have small windows, and it is a big concrete building so it feels airless.

There is also kids club everyday with Eliska the fox and a minidisco in the evening two times per week.

But we did not expect that the product has changed into a family hotel for families with children so much that we as a couple will feel out of place and where I really did not find value for money at the price of 250 EUR per night.

Clean everywhere, great variety of tasty meals, also sea fruits, salmon, swimming pool and whirlpool free for guests from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Silent, fresh mountain air, hills all around, public bus, animators and club for kids, also meals for kids, excellent evening rauts, our best holiday, we spent here 11 nights and wish to come back again!

We had an opportunity to visit Orea resort Horal roght after Covid lockdown release with my wife and son.

We have visited this hotel already couple of times with our children (2,5).

(I do not really know about the right price)

To end positively, the children were very satisfied with the children's animation.

Great hotel for kids, there is a kids club where they can play.

Just maybe the hotel should revise its employment of young teenage scholars for full time service.

At the end of our stay I got my boy a chocolate massage (about $25) in the spa and he loved it!

That was great so the children had their own bathroom.

We had the buffet, because it is easier travelling with picky kids.

but good for families with children and people who want to relax.

but with good food, outside and inside playground for children, cold swimming pool for swimming and warm jacuzzi.

This have very good program for children so the parent can spend time in spa or in the bar and about their children look after in play room.

Extremely overpriced drinks and snacks at the Oak Bar.

We need more refinement for prices charged.

When you say you have a Nespresso in your room, I expect Nespresso there and not a cheap substitute.

Last year we paid only 800 eur now it was 1400 eur.

That unecessary mistake cost me more money because I did get an email with an invoice from the hotel and I had to do an international transfer to the hotel.

It was extremely deceiving and for sure we won't risk again to buy such an expensive stay in such a bad resort.

To the other side the prices are quite significant

A bit overpriced drinks in the hotel's bar.

But then add to this that when I have checked my credit card upon returning home for some reason the Orea Resort Horror payment was charged at the WORST exchange rate of the whole trip BY FAR!

When we asked the manager, he refused to help and insisted us to pay.

Never happened to me before to pay for pool while staying in the hotel.

but came at an additional cost of 60 British pounds per person for the evening, definitely not worth the money.

Similar full-board accommodation in France, Germany etc would have been at least 2 times the price.

The entertainment was poor and they had some weird system around how you pay for the drinks you had.

We had an family room, imediately, without any question or extra fee, when childs got sick and we had to leave sooner, staff return us paid money).

While having been check-in we have been told that our internet rate does not include entry to the pool (only next day in the morning – very strength).

but we found the services there to be overpriced.

Food was average - cold eggs and bacon for the breakfast, or dry cakes  is not what you expect from 4star Hotel.

The structure is old and ugly (typical eco-monster from the 70s).

The rooms are tiny (even by European standards) - the double room was a real squeeze for my husband, 4-year old and myself.

Don't expect a double mattress, as is the norm in this part of Europe it will be two single mattresses together.

After a walk in winter countryside, we used hotel wellness - sauna and whirlpool.

Also the location is very advantageous for walks around.

You need to ask to rent a bathrobe from the swimming pool staff, 500kc deposit plus 30kc a day rental - invaluable for the walk back to the room!

Speaking of parking - at times it can be challenging to find empty parking slot near hotel - you might have to walk quite a distance from your car.

In the center of Spindleruv Mlyn is a pleasant walk.

It is a 30 minute walk to the town so you need a bus to get most places.

I was a bit disappointed that such a large hotel did not have AC in the rooms.

This is not uncommon at all in this region so just plan accordingly; maybe bring your own fan.

Being going to this Hotel for a number of years when visiting family in the area.

However there are large safe green areas for children to play outside.

Meeting rooms and food areas are air conditioned.

However if you go here with a positive hat on - everything was nice and clean,  friendly staff, good breakfast, nice size pool, attractive looking reception area.

Another thing is area where hotel is locater - very nice, beautiful!

The hotel location is also in a relatively quiet spot as well.

The hotel has a pool and sauna, is located by the town's swimming pool,  very close to the city centre.

Excellent hotel - friendly staff, good location and a nice atmosphere.

The location was okay, 200-300m to a mini maker and 15 min walk in to old town.

The hotel was well presented in a good location approx 10 - 15 minutes walk to the centre.

We chose this location over Mercure Karpacz and we are very satisfied.
