The food was always mouth watering, delectable and delicious.

We booked one night stay in September at this hotel with a lunch and breakfast option.

The breakfast and dinner food was good with a decent spread.

The best part of the weekend was the pool and spa, and of course the breakfast spread.

even though it wasn’t available in buffet

most of the time we spent outside of hotel …

Also at the breakfast time, Mr. Sachin, Mr. Manish and the head chef Mr. Pratap Singh they took so much care of us.

The food at the main restaurant (Jaisalmer Kitchen) where they serve food all day is great, the buffet spread is wonderful, for all three meals.

The food is kid friendly too with less of spicy and plentiful options,

The breakfast buffet was our least favorite of all the hotels.

Mr.Manish has been great at his work , during the breakfast hours in the morning.

Manish served us the morning breakfast and it was a good experience all together.

Breakfast and all food are very good.

Best part was the temperature regulated pool and the breakfast variety was just endless from English to Indian everything at one place.

Their service was excellent and staff were really friendly and as always enjoyed their widespread breakfast and food.

We liked the food as well and the hygiene they maintained we would recommend Marriott for stay.and one more thing I was waiting for a table long time pankaj was the only one guys from restaurant who paid attention  to me and arranged for a table and special took care .

The moment you walk in, you know that you’ll enjoy your stay and you’ll be taken care of.

The staff is extremely polite and took care of all our needs.

Over all hospitality is very good.Master chef pratap Singh was taking care of every guests very dedicatedly.

We went their for lunch had very nice experience.Service by Manshi was excellent took good care of us.Food was excellent prepared by Chef Jassi.Hotel is very close to the city.We spend nearly two hour.Lal Maas and Kerr Sangari was very tasty with Bajara roti.

I am a member of Bonvoy and you definitely expect some basics to be taken care of.

Mr. Manish was very courteous, he took good care of us.

The staff is very polite, specially Mr. Avinash who got us some food on special request and took care of our comfort during all times.

Rest assured that my further stay will be comfortable because chef pratap will take care of my food.

We were here for 3 nights and were superbly taken care of by the staff here.

Incidence 2 - today morning when I was sleeping I got a call that sir wether you would like to use spa etc , I was like if I want to use I will come directly I don’t need reminder .

Even after calling them multiple times over an hour, they do not turn up.

but they haven't call and I was waiting for 5-6 hours.

You expect that you have toiletries and towels according to the number of people staying, again have to call reception 3 days straight for it and still try to haggle with cleaning staff.

I forgot my iphone charger in the room, i called them around 5-6 times they always told me that they will contact Lost and Found Dept.

but it has a sharp corner on the side at shoulder length of tall people and you are very likely to bump into that sharp corner while walking in a group of 2-3 people
- the hallways have a sharp spot light in the floor pointing upwards and it may get blinding when you are walking with your head down ( like looking at your phone :P )
- the placement of bath tub in the suite is very weird.. you have to walk past a tiny passage next to the bath tub to get to the toilet and there are sharp corners there too.. so good luck walking to the toilet at night when you are half asleep.

The hotel condition was a bit shabby, with the room having a few minor issues - phone was hanging off the wall by wires unsecured, flooring was cheap plastic laminate, some lighting had bare wires showing, etc.

This guy Vipul promised to call me within a day after speaking to the resort leadership.

For example evenings services we need to call.

Starting directly from Gurgaon, I spoke to Monis over the phone for reservations and shared my requirements and preferences.

She finally transferred the call when I said "Donald Duck".

My advice is please call them before booking to ensure the resort is fully functional rather than spending your hard-earned money here.

The hotel property is well maintained and rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable the only problem was that the service lacked 
Like to get a boy to carry my luggage I had to call twice at the reception and then finally had to go down myself to ask for the service,

Added to this we couldn’t send emails from our I phone despite having WI FI that was connected.

but they doing me a favour by sending the order at this hour 
Well Marriot needs to train their staff in basic etiquettes and definitely how to speak to a lady on the phone 
If a guest can afford ur 15k per night room I presume he/she can definitely afford to dine at ur property as well 
So to label ur guests as freeloaders just cos they are specific is totally unacceptable

And the icing on the cake was the person didn't even bothered to apologise for his fabulous choice of words !!

It took maybe 5-7 calls, numerous staff members coming to the room for them end up telling us that’s no heat in the rooms, only a/c that every attendant kept turning on upon attending our room.

After numerous calls to the front desk (who clearly could not care less) I had to find them myself.

The manager has also been contacted who is also calling me a lier.

While the main Indian restaurant with the outdoor seating overlooking the fort was - it must be said - excellent with great servers and cooks, the breakfast was pretty poor, 3-star fair.

Poor welcome , hospitality was poor , so much disappointed .

Housekeeping in rooms and common areas is poor.

but the service was poor, had to wait an eternity for the waiter to serve.

Jaisalmer Kitchen Restaurant had the most poor service .

The buffet breakfasts very average with quality lacking and choices limited and breads for toast very poor.

We were looking forward to Christmas Eve dinner party , food was awesome just the service got a bit poor with not enough tables.

but because of the poor performance on the night before, we opted to eat out.

They are very friendly and helpful including Chefs,housekeeping and restaurants staff are very good.

We were also served breakfast and dinner by the warm staff at the restaurants Linthoi and Himanshu, who were there waiting on us even at the buffet.

Food is also very nice and The restaurant staff is truly polite and also ready to serve

Manish and his staffs are helpful at the restaurant.

Food prepared by Chef Pratap and delivered by restaurant staff was amazing.

Apart from Chef Pratap, I have not seen a single staff in their restaurant smile.

The food and service in the restaurant were so good, nourishing, healthy, full of surprises and the service was just excellent.

Rooms are comfortable, breakfasts are delicious, and environment gorgeous with view of sunrise, sunset, palace, havelis, lake and old Jaisalmer city.

We have 4 dinner at hotels and every day they choose a dish out of the menu, which turns out to be delicious.

One of the best places to stay inside Jaisalmer fort and have fun with your family and friends with great ambiance and delicious breakfast and the rooftop restaurant was also amazing for sunset evening.

but yes, I have to agree that sometimes bugs were brought in by guests without them knowing.

I am aware that bed bugs are a common problem,

My driver had to drop me off at the gates, and someone drove me and my bugs up in a tuk-tuk.

Rooms are individually decorated — ours, the Opium Room, had a window seat overlooking the city.

though was the staff and the nightly view to the the Palace, city and Sunrise from the terrace.

The hotel's restaurant is on the rooftop itself, and it was a pleasure to eat my meals with a view of the city, especially at night time.

The room was great and had a very romantic place right at the window where we could recline and read overlooking the city and the walls.

The hotel is located in the ancient fort that overlooks the city of Jaisalmer.

You can overlook the city and you are the King of Jaisalmer.

but I was offered a phone of the receptionist as a hot spot.

There were no phones , tea making or television in the rooms as we were part of the family and encouraged to come down and chat with drinks provided whenever we wanted.

The room still retains its original layout and there are no modern appliances like TV or phone, which makes the stay more unique because you are able to bask in the charm the hotel has to offer.

Hotel Garh Jaisal on Fort Kotari Para, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan 345001 Phone +91 7727 047 567 is Jaisalmer's best kept secret - it is a small family owned Hotel run by a young delightful owner and host called "Tarun" who has excellent English and went out of his way to be helpful, even down to our very early day of check-out when the Dining Room on the rooftop was not yet open, he organised for the Chef to deliver our breakfast to our room.

Full marks to the staff especially Shankar, who seemed to be on call around the clock.

We checked out at around 10 AM and to my horror I recieved a call from one of the staff accusing us of stealing some small decorative pieces from our room.

Beware the low entrance to the bathroom; my head was still ringing after a day of impact.

However, don't expect any TV or phone in your room.

Be aware that at 5am you will be waken by the mosque's call.

Make Phone Call in India at no cost and no deposit, absolute trust is given to their guests.

He told me more than once on the phone that he would talk to me about it later.

but we couldn’t get it to work on my iPhone for some unknown reason.

They do not offer Tv and Telephone in rooms, which is  fantastic

On the final day, when our tempers were starting to fray we suggested calling Mukesh on his cell phone

To call the rooms poky would have been complimentary - and they shrewdly name and pre-allocate their rooms so there can be no scope for swapping.

The room view is stunning, you keep gazing at the landscape all day.

Best hotel inside fort at Jaisalmer.Just 10 minutes walking from market.Though located inside fort all facilities are available including WiFi.Staff are very friendly and helpful.You can take auto from Fort gate and can reach hotel .Can see city view from room window or from terrace.

It was amazing to see the sandstone carved pillars inside our room and the amazing view from our room.

Located at the end of the eastside, the view over this place is just perfect for sunrise and sunset.

Had a 1 day stay dere , great sunrise n sunset view , with good housekeeping n good amenities .

And the views from the roof top of the fort during sunset are breathtaking!

The food was delicious, evening cultural programs were (sufi/rajasthani songs) superb and the staff were very polite, helpful & friendly.

There was only 1 restraunt and 1 bar the food there was delicious and some items were live made in front of us.

Starting from the breakfast spread that offers a wide spread of detox and refreshing juices to the kachoris and dal pakwan that brings the local flavours come alive.

At the Farm: A rendezvous with two adorable retrievers-Laila and Gabbar (At breakfast time), three horses-Badal, Aakash, and Bijli (at around 5:30), two turtles, who I must say are quite shy and refuse to come out of their shell, a dozen ducks and rabbits, a crane is an exciting experience for the younger members of the family.

Food was great and truly enjoyed the breakfast spread and the panini at dinner.

The buffet was very well designed and easily accessible.

Well spread buffet breakfast with superlative attentive service make your stay much more enjoyable.

At breakfast Pavan ensured we tried everything on the buffet.

The breakfast menu was absolutely perfect with a blend of Rajhasthani food they had every thing you need for a luxury breakfast.
