The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

although the bathroom was a little too small.

On the down side the rooms were a bit small

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The rooms are small (think London) and the hotel has no other amenities like a pool or fitness center etc.

though the room was on the small side; albeit within minutes of the hagia sofia and blue mosque.

The terrace view of the Hagia Sophia was an amazing sight to take in.

From the moment we walked in the door the personal service was exceptional!

We later walked by around 10 am and there were large crowds of people waiting to get in, baking in the oppressive heat.

The location worked very well, allowing us to walk to everything we wanted to see and do.

Tourist attractions ; What we did not expect was that it has a historic abandoned hamam in front, Old Hagia Sofia (read about it :) ) and Old city walls in 1 mins walk.

Only downside is the thin walls and street noise

Perfect location in the middle of the historic centre, with extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms and great breakfast.

but really this wasn't my fault so he shouldn't have been unhappy with me.

but mixed weather meant limited use - not the hotel’s fault I know.

The only small criticism, which is not the fault of the hotel, is that it can be a little noisy at night due to the local bars and the tramway that goes right past the front door.

I had a cold for the first two days (I blame my sister lol) and they made sure I had plenty of mint tea to soothe my throat, without me having to ask they offered.


It is difficult to find fault with this stay!

When we had a minor lighting issue in our room, they went above and beyond to fix it.

Nonetheless, after a bit of a delay, we were on our way and the hotel worked to fix the problem as soon as they were aware of it.

Decoration: All the fittings and fixtures of the hotel have been custom-made to give a definite sense of traditional style, with an emphasis on ornate, period gilded-wood furniture, heavy drapes, floral wallpaper and velvet or satin upholstery, chandeliers and glass pendant lighting fittings and wrought-iron work.

The bathroom was separated by glass walls with curtains on the inside, which, when pulled open, created an even more airy and open space.

It had a tiny ante, a small balcony and a glass walled bathroom.

The bathroom it a bit odd in that it has glass walls with curtains.

The glass walls also mean there is just one hook right next to the shower to hang towels and robes, which can maybe hold one, two with difficulty.

The bathroom is a bit strange, a room within a room, a glass box with curtains.

The toilets were very clean and the only problem i had with it was that it had glass walls backed with almost transparent curtains.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff Zumre guest relations was extremely helpful.

Guest relations Zumre checked up on us to make sure we had what we needed during the stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights - the location is superb and you can easily walk to all the main sights with plenty of restaurants nearby.

The hotel was key to our stay , the is a Tram station literally one minute walk from the hotel.

It’s location is near a ll  the sight seeing locations and within walking distance- no need for tram or taxis!

Location is also perfect for visiting attractions the tram is like minute away from the hotel and also Topkapi palace is 5min walk from the hotel.

It is really easy to get around as the tramway is a 1 min walk from the hotel which makes it more convenient getting around.

The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to many of the tourist hot spots.

You have a tram stop 1 minute walk from the hotel.

So so special right in the heart of Sultanahmet, we were able to walk 15 minutes in the morning to pray fajr at all the local mosques.

The location is SUPERB just a short walk away from everything, 5 mins to Hagia Sophia, 10mins to Grand Bazaar, many shops  pharmacy, restaurants etc.

The spa is beautifully ornamented and has more than enough facilities to relax after a long walking dasy.

Location is excellent too lots of shops, restaurants nearby, about a 10 minute walk to Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque with a tram station just round the corner and about 5-10 minute walk down to the ferry terminals on the Bosporus to explore even further!

Easy to walk to all the sights and shopping areas.

The location is great 5 to 10 minutes walk to the major important sights.

but staff is highly helpful.they literally explain and help us in exploring the city..i highly recommend them.also their location is perfect.most of the attractions are on walking distace and tram is so nearby.

Breakfast patio on the roof has an excellent view and breakfast was great with lots of selection.
