The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The hotel is located in the very center, it is difficult to think of a better location relative to the main attractions (walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more).

The room is very comfortable and the roof top has such a beautiful view of the Mosque.

Wonderful staff; great location close to the top attractions, the tram line, and nearby restaurants; impeccably clean and comfortable room (we loved the rose petal touch); and a very nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the top of the Haggia Sofia.

Breakfast buffet on the rooftop was more than adequate-lots of choices with great views of the city.

negative: the walls are too thin so you can here people next to you and it makes noisy, the price is a little high for what it is.

Tourist attractions ; What we did not expect was that it has a historic abandoned hamam in front, Old Hagia Sofia (read about it :) ) and Old city walls in 1 mins walk.

Only downside is the thin walls and street noise

We stayed at the Ada Hotel Istanbul one-bedroom apartment for about 20 days.

2) one bedroom apartment is big enough and full equipped 
3) every day cleaning and changing of towels and bed linens 
4) very quiet , even there is a busy street around you can’t hear the noise inside !

We took a One bedroom apartment with sea view.

We were coming from a 1 bedroom apt from Nashville and felt right at home here. 3.

What made our stay most enjoyable is the nicely decorated, beautiful one-bedroom apartment we got, with great amenities (including free international calls) and the hospitality delivered by the owner, Dr. Sumengen, himself.

We had two spacious one-bedroom apartments for 5 people.

My last hotel in Istanbul (for business) charged me for every local call.

but a nicer, larger room than I had reserved, at no extra charge.

Room:
One queen bed, a cot was also provided at no extra charge.

•  Water in the fridge is only charged at cost – no mark up.

When you pick up your phone in any room, you are on a direct line to the US or Canada for no extra charge.

He didn't even charge us for the extra breakfast we had.

We were also not charged for the two bottles of water from the fridge.

My trip was a last-minute decision and I found some of the hotels (if you book directly) asking for credit card details either by fax (I don't have access to a fax machine) or by email (not secure and I wasn't comfortable with it).

Water, as in all Istanbul, is not drinkable (or safe for brushing teeth), so it was necessary to use bottled water provided for in room (and we were charged street prices for it).

Also, unless you have the business card of the hotel w/ you, it will be hard for a cab driver to find the hotel.

but he insisted that my husband and I take this room at no extra charge.

Dr and Mrs Sumengen and their children (a young man and a young woman) are Istanbul's finest calling card.

On Monday, after the weekend guests had left, the host offered to upgrade our room at no additional charge.

The food is always fresh, very tasty, with a wide range of dishes, numerous ready-made Turkish dishes are served for guests, freshly cooked omelets, purees, toasts in batter, burek with cheese, pancakes, and in addition - Turkish coffee.

The Breakfast has about 4 varieties of eggs in various forms - omelet ( they bring to your table ), eggs, kofte, olives, breads, etc.

5 ) there is a variety for breakfast every morning, delicious Turkish pie and omelet served on the table while you can enjoy a beautiful view of Marmara sea !

Variety of egg dishes (omelets, sunny side up, scrambled), french toast, granola, Turkish meze's, variety of fruits, sausages and meats, cereal, variety of cheese, jams, honey, filtered coffee, tea, and much more.

It offers an opulent selection of turkish dishes and continental breakfast components - you can easily combine your beloved Müesli with some exotic aubergine dishes, sausages or omelets.

but there were several annoyances such as a faucet that was totally wobbly or a very small shower that was leaking on the floor.

but some if you are a very fussy traveler, you might think the elevator too tiny or the shower a bit small (then again, other rooms even have a jacuzzi!).

The hotel rooms are small and the bathroom no more than a corridor.

The bedroom included a hot tub (which neither of us used), and the bathroom  was small

but the room was very small and pokey and one bed was in a seperate tiny room so it didn't suit us as we were 3 friends who had all come from different countries to meet up for a weekend away.

We declined the room so we were shown a small room back at the hotel.

Rooms were small as they are in this area.

We also stayed 2 nights in the regular room which was a tad small as all rooms have a jacuzzi tub in the room which makes the rom even smaller.

Although the room was a little small there is another room right next to it that is much larger and has the same great view.

Although the rooms are tiny (we had the regular sized bedroom)  - they are superbly clean.

We stayed for8 nights in one bedroom apartment.It had a great sea view with balcony.The rooms were very clean and comfortable.Everything was perfect.Amazing breakfast was made by two gorgian ladies (magda and maya)that were so nice,friendly and helpful.Two young men in reception were very responsible and helpful.Location was good.I absolutely recommend Ada hotel .

Provided with a large TV with conventional channels and Netflix .Everything we needed was there like dishwasher ,washing machine,clothes dryer,fridge and all necessary utensils.The view from the bedroom was just wonderful during the day and night.

The Basilica Cistern and the TopKapi Palace are a further 5-7 minutes away by walk.

20 mins from Ataturk airport, in the middle of the Old City (Sultanahmet), 5 minutes’ walk from the most popular Istanbul sights; the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Ayasofia (Hagia Sofia), Hurrem Sultan's Baths, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Basilica Cistern and loads of shopping – I suggest the Arasta bazaar next to the Blue Mosque, which is smaller and less intense than the Grand Bazar.

but not least the hotel is so close to historical places like Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace,… so you don’t need to pay for taxi to reach to these famous sightseeing and also a tram station (sultanahmed station) is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Location is great, 5-10 minutes walk to Sultanahmed Masjid (Blue Mosque) and near Haghia Shopia and Topkapi palace.

The location is excellent, a 5mins  walking distance to all main attractions like the blue mosque, hagia sophia and topkapi palace.

Also, it was very close to Istanbul's famous sightseeing spots, such as Blue mosque, Topkapi palace, and Grand bazzar.

If you don't have a tour guide, and like us are doing everything yourself, the following places take 10 mins or less by foot: blue mosque, hagia sofia, topkapi palace, grand bazaar.

Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar are also 10mins walk, nice and easy.

Blu Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Gran Bazar), we've been accomodated in a separate building 50 meters far away from the hotel composed by 5 suites with all the best finishings (full equipped kitchen, washing machine & dryer, ceiling air conditioning, wide screen TV with home theater system, balcony terrace).

Plus the location of this hotel is perfect -- it is walking distance from the Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and a lot of good places to eat in.

but its location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from major attractions of Istanbul, the Blue Mosque, the Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome, the Basilica Cistern, Cemberlitas (Column of Constantine), Hagia Sofia and a bit further to the Grand Bazaar and transport by tram to other attractions.

The hotel is located literally within 100 meters of the Blue Mosque, the beautiful gardens, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and many more attractions!

We stayed in a Deluxe Suite with a beautiful sea view from the window.

Their rooftop breakfast with a beautiful and relaxing view towards the sea (and overlooking a charming neighborhood mosque).

I've also stayed in the Sea View room with the jacuzzi tub.

We could see the Bosphorus from our window and from the breakfast terrace on the top floor the view was tremendous!

Close, at walking distance, to all main sightseeing points, with a wonderful view from rooms and breakfast up floor.

I had booked a suite with a Balcony and sea view.

Rooms are wide and have jakuzi & big screen TV, breakfast fresh and girls making omlet for you in a second, hotel was clean, upper floor rooms has amazing view.

Sometimes a very bad smell comes from the bathroom.

Our bathroom was quite small and the shower cubicle was minuscule.

Shower broken, light doesn't work, noisy AC, very small toilet, old room, under-staffed, no help with luggage, rude receptionist, over-billed laundry. .

However, our room may be in need of a revamp as it looked slightly outdated and quite old, so would the bathroom.

Well the double room we were given wasn't very impressive, shower was small, bed was king bed

but was a little old appearing and there was mold in my shower at the base :( Pretty close to main attractions though!

but clean except that there was quite a bit of mould around the base of the shower.

The only downside was that the wallpaper near the door was somewhat scratched up and the shower had no soap holder or place to put shampoo.

Bathrooms are small, with shower above bath.

The rooms are not decorated in a modern style, rather an older, Ottaman style and the bathrooms are on the small side.

Great location for the sights and we were upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking The Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia.

It’s in a perfect location for visiting the main attractions, it staff are polite and very helpful, the breakfast provided a great choice and the room we had was perfect, clean, large and nicely air conditioned.

The hotel is located in a little street that crosses a bigger one, where you can find  T1 Tram Line (one of the main lines that takes you basically to the main touristic places).
