The hotel is like a palace and very clean.

but I don't believe this is an excuse for poor service.

Eventually , we went into Didim centre to have evening dinner due to the poor quality of the food served in your buffet.

The confectionery shop unfortunately suffered of the same poor communication and customer service.

food very good, everyone can find something for themselves, only the night meal was poor where there is almost nothing to choose from except pasta, rolls, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers and for a five-star hotel there should be more and maybe there should be some sandwiches in the lobby  bar, drinks sometimes not good

Presentation was also poor with lots of spillage everywhere.

The food was very poor that we opted to go back to the main restaurant.

You have to book in advance and availability is poor.

Pretty poor service for almost a 2 grand holiday!!!!

but in this case since the animation team is so poor you can't even oversee it.

To be honest they don't interact with anyone this end of the pool.sorry to say they are very poor when compared to teams on other hotels we have stayed.

Sun loungers, extremely poor condition, signs of rust and broken springs, that actually.

Pool toilets were dirty very poor management they need updating.

Beer is excellent, cocktails are poor in my opinion,

On the other side, it is good as there is not really much to see in the nearest Didim town which is poor and dirty town.

However the food is poor, the staff are rude and uninterested apart from the animation team and the night manager.

Food is really poor for a 5*,very bland and tastless.

If you ask them anything that is over their poor english skills (mostly not even poor) they just dont answer and they are looking at you like you ate their lunch or something.

The WiFi is a bit poor though, my mate was getting 700 ping on fortnite.

Amazing atmosphere, great people I can call friends, delicious food, crazy entertainment team, nice rooms, fitness, spa, hammam is a great experience, fantastic show every night, just go there, you won't regret.

Food is great with plenty of choice for everyone.

It is my 4th time at this hotel and I see it as my second home beautiful setting delicious food amazing entertainment and wonderful staff.

The food was great, plenty of variety for a weeks stay with different themed nights.

There is plenty of food choices, my partner is a fussy eater and he came back with a plate full of various foods each time, to which he thoroughly enjoyed!

Good job we didn’t mind a beer as that was ok (Efes)  the cake shop and coffee were very nice after a hard day in the sun…
We bought bags and Jewellery from the shops on site all good prices 
The staff were all helpful and very friendly,  Beth the Tui rep was very good and welcoming..

The drinks are good plenty of cocktails and kids mocktails they serve effes larger wuch I found to be realy smooth and diddnt have one hangover from a fair few during the day and night plenty of spirts and fizzy drinks bottles of water all day even before the 10am opening of the bar the ice coffees are a must there's a beech bar pool bar and a lobby bar with a massive outside for drinks.

The food was the best meal we had and so much of it!!

Bartenders trying to do the best for my cocktails as from my opinion that cocktails wasn't brilliant .

We had the fish and Turkish a la cartes which were by the beach and enjoyed both equally.

The food was lovely with plenty of different options each day, all the staff are very hard working and polite especially Ozan.

I’d recommend going to topkap or Pinocchios for food.

A show is put on every evening, easy watching and and all great performers.

All staff are on hand at any moment to deal with any issues especially the entertainment team.

I’ll miss the entertainment team so much especially bobby David, Rio and Billy, their daily entertainment has made it a great first trip to turkey for me, so many laughs.

The staff are so welcoming and kind and are always at your service, and the Animation team are 10/10.

The entertainment staff are fantastic, particularly David who was very friendly and welcoming.

The animation team do a good job of keeping everyone entertained and are the only staff I saw smiling and interacting with customers.

The animation team were amazing too - Dimples, Bobby and David kept us laughing all day long.

Everything was as expected, entertainment was varied with lots for everyone.

David one of the entertainers is absolutely amazing!

Had a great time favourite part was the animation team especially David!

Entertainment is great both in the amphitheater and beach bar.

The night time entertainment was really good with the fire show and foam party being the highlights for me.

Finally, the toilets in the downstairs reception area smell pretty bad as there is no door to the area.

The food at the restaurants was disgusting even the cats wouldn’t eat it!

If you really hate smoke, go somewhere else.

though because on one visit they didn’t smell and this is probably due to them recently having a cleaning visit.

Sewage smell in bathrooms - due to the mess up with rooms and being moved, we saw 6 rooms - everyone stank of sewage in the bathroom.

Toilets public ate absolutely filthy unsanitary. Beware!

- Towels absolutely stunk of smoke practically every day.

The food was absolutely disgusting, if you like flys for breakfast then this is the place for you!

We were being violently sick, had severe diarrhoea, hot & cold sweats and a fever.

The usual fake clothes and bags, a hairdresser, a tattoo studio, a jeweller’s and a gift/sweet shop/ cigarettes.

It needs a few tweaks, the biggest been the pool bar toilets, they are disgusting, dirty broken seat hanging off wall, broken tiles hit and miss with toilet roll, same in rooms that too.

Room on 7th floor, lovely view of the pool and sea BUT there was a constant smell of smoke in the corridor & often in our room, which made us cough.

The indoor swimming pool was very disgusting and dirty.

We felt the smoking and non smoking areas at the main restaurant are the wrong way round - non smokers have to walk through the smoking area to get from tables to the buffet which isn't pleasant, this put us off eating outside.

The tables has pvc runners on them when I adjusted it one day I noticed the back was covered in mold !

You can have freshly cooked eggs/omlettes/pancakes and waffles though.The food in the Italian a la carte was disgusting and we couldnt eat it.

The pool area toilets are filthy, the cleaning lady went in, slopped water on the floor and left toilet roll,  that was it no proper cleaning.

What we did not like the most that the lift was never cleaned and the showers in the spa were filthy.

The bedroom on arrival did smell very strongly of sewage

All staff are amazing and accommodating, especially entertainment team all very friendly.

You’ll never be bored in this place with all the daily activities with the best entertainment team, I’ve found a new love for darts while here!!

Staff are excellant and cant do enough for you.

I hope these 2 ladies get far in life and achieve the right goals in life and get far because they deserve it. Thanks.

Great sea views was on 10th floor and staff helpful and friendly

however as per previous reviews there is something magical about this place and the staff are extremely pleasant.We may return in the future and the views from the bedrooms are fabulous and unforgettable.Well done everyone at "The Venosa."

My 3 star out of 5 is nothing to do with the team I firstly want to say that the entire team that work in this hotel are amazing and friendly.

It’s my second time in turkey and this is honestly the best place to go, the staff are lovely!

However all I can say is positive for the hotel and staff.

The staff was excellent attending to our needs, the beach is clean and the gardens are well maintained which the wife loved.

Have a meal out at Topkapi, brilliant and free car service from the hotel…find them on Facebook.

Altinkum town was nice to visit in the evening, we went for dinner one evening to a restaurant called Topkapi which had a large menu and seemed very good and mid priced!

We went to the Aldente Beach Bar (2 mins walk from the hotel) for their Saturday Turkish night, Topkapi, Toy Bar and My Eden (all on the promenade at Alkinkum).

though as far you can swim upto the rope where the water sports start there is a lovey walk around like cove to the local beach who are all friendly and welcoming there is also a little peir you can sun bathe and have spectacular views of the bay the hotel and the beach.

The layout of the pools going down to the beach is exceptional and the views are to die for.

Clean room , drinks avaliable, air conditioner working well.There was a spectacular view from our room 1303 .

The rooms were clean with good air conditioning, had a lovely view of the sea.

The rooms are spacious and all overlook the sea.

Room was acceptable, view amazing and food plentiful if not a little repetitive at times.

Every room comes with sea view, which rarely is the case in my long standing experience: if you book here, you will have it!

The room was so good with a great view, it was cleaned everyday to perfection can’t wait to come back.

Also, worth noting that the best thing about the hotel is that it boasts beautiful views of the sea and the pool area.

but when you go little further along the beach you will find a beautifull places and transparent sea

It was spacious and decorated as a chamber in a palace.

The room is very comfortable and the roof top has such a beautiful view of the Mosque.

Wonderful staff; great location close to the top attractions, the tram line, and nearby restaurants; impeccably clean and comfortable room (we loved the rose petal touch); and a very nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the top of the Haggia Sofia.

The room was clean and cozy and i also appreciated the fact that the hotel was not too much big since you breathed a familiar atmosphere.

Nice size and well kept room and amenities.

The hotel room itself was comfortable and clean.

The rooms are clean and you can get to many attractions without using a car.

Amazing location (2 minutes away from every place you must go in Istanbul), super nice, kind and helpful staff, very clean rooms and common areas, nice typical breakfast.

The room was well equipped and clean, I must say the location is perfect!

The breakfast room is on the roof with a lovely view of Istanbul and the water.

The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

although the bathroom was a little too small.

On the down side the rooms were a bit small

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The rooms are small (think London) and the hotel has no other amenities like a pool or fitness center etc.

though the room was on the small side; albeit within minutes of the hagia sofia and blue mosque.

The hotel is small and I think just has 14 rooms.

From day one the Service and Staff have been Excellent.

The staff are super friendly, helpful, and kind.

I found a very qualified and cordial staff.

But the main strength of this hotel lies in its people: we felt very warmly welcomed and taken care of thanks to Mert, Halli and Rahman!

The staff were terrific-warm, friendly, always helpful.

Magnificent hotel with a magical location to visit everything, we loved all the staff so responsive to all our requests, they made all the reservations for the restaurants and the entrances to the various tourist activities, exceptional breakfast, we recommend this magnificent hotel

I say that because the hotel was wonderful, especially the staff, who bent over backwards to make sure everything that we needed was done.

The food was delicious, the place was super clean, and the owner was a true host that made me feel he cared about me and my safety.

They were polite and helpful, especially with the stroller, answering our questions, organizing the cruise and pick up from and to the airport.

The hotel staff go above and beyond for their guests and make them feel like family.

Special mentions to Mr Mert  for his lovely welcome (Turkish delight and fizz) and helpful advice.

I personal letter welcoming us to the Hotel by the owner was another special touch.

The terrace view of the Hagia Sophia was an amazing sight to take in.

Very  nice breakfast every morning on the top of the hotel terrace that over looked Istanbul.

but I loved the small terrace that was attached.

The views from the terrace alone over Istanbul is worth the stay.
