I had a very restful stay with Ada in the most perfect little location of old city Istanbul - Views from the breakfast room are wonderful and by balcony view also was impressive.

Due to the hotel's location in one of the best parts of Europe, Istanbul, we were able to easily walk to antiquities such as the mosque in the shortest possible time.

Location is in the centre of Sultanahmet (Old City) close to the Arasta bazaar, the grand bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Basilica cistern, and the main tram lines which connect to Galata, Karaköy, Taksim, etc.

Location is wonderful central, its just 3-5 mins by walk bluemosque, sophia and chinese restaurants.

What am saying is the location is just great.

It is also perfectly located for touring the sights of Istanbul on foot.

At the breakfast time, we go the terrace at the 5th floor, which is widely facing the Marmara sea, and find various type of food in the buffet, beside  those ladies upstairs who welcome us with smiley face all the times.

There are several restaurants in the area.

Restaurants, shopping, Blue Mosque, Sofia Haggis, Topkapi Palace,Hippodrome are all with an easy walk.

Also it was easy few minutes to walk to all the sights such as the blue mosque and bazaar areas and staying at Ada rather than in a big hotel in outer part of  istanbul I received the true taste of Turkish and their lovely hospitality with the shops and cafes and little parks//squares/mosques all so near by also.

The hotel manager and staff were very kind and friendly and the hotel environment was very clean and we also ate a variety of delicious breakfasts every day.

It has a nice bed and a mini fridge and very close to downtown and restaurants.

Breakfast is in the cafe on the top floor of the hotel with panoramic views of the Marmara Sea where Little Hagia Sophia, two nearest mosques (Sokollu Mehmed Pasha and Iskender Aga), the remains of Constantinople walls and the Yenikapı complex can be seen.

Breakfast was fresh,just cooked ,very tasty, home made and had a very good variety!

There are great restaurants and rooftop terraces all around.

They give hugs, laughs and push way too much food on me [see photo].

There are a huge lot of food varieties and the hotel food staffs take special care of each and every guest individually and as per his or her food taste.

There is great rooftop restaurant right next to the hotel, very convenient, so if you are back at the hotel and too tired to go out for a meal specially at a the end of the day this one remains open till late at night.

The apartment is a short walk from all tourist sites in Saltanamet as well as restaurants and grocery shops.

For those of us who appreciate history, this restaurant offers the most stunning views of any place I know in the world, right next to Haghia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, with Suleymaniye Mosque at the horizon, looking down on the Marmara Sea and the Bosphorus.

Finally, I'm very picky about beds and I've never had anything uncomfortable at the Ada Hotel.

At first we were a bit uncomfortable when we went in to the  building because it looks  a little cramped

I was on a duty trip so it was quite uncomfortable to type letters sitting on the bed.

We stayed for8 nights in one bedroom apartment.It had a great sea view with balcony.The rooms were very clean and comfortable.Everything was perfect.Amazing breakfast was made by two gorgian ladies (magda and maya)that were so nice,friendly and helpful.Two young men in reception were very responsible and helpful.Location was good.I absolutely recommend Ada hotel .

The restaurant of the hotel is on the roof, so you have a very nice view when you have your breakfast.

We stayed in a Deluxe Suite with a beautiful sea view from the window.

Their rooftop breakfast with a beautiful and relaxing view towards the sea (and overlooking a charming neighborhood mosque).

I've also stayed in the Sea View room with the jacuzzi tub.

We could see the Bosphorus from our window and from the breakfast terrace on the top floor the view was tremendous!

Close, at walking distance, to all main sightseeing points, with a wonderful view from rooms and breakfast up floor.

I wanted to try the rooftop restaurant and wanted a central location.

The food is nice and well priced in the hotel.

Reception staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay helping us book restaurants, Turkish Bath and general information etc.

You are just a short walk from the Galato Tower and plenty of restaurants shops, and cafes.

The The Marmara Pera Hotel is near these landmarks: Kucuk Ayasofya - Gazi Suleyman Pasa Mosque, Eurosa Travel, Keyfi Alem Playstation Cafe, Hayal İstanbul Maltepe, Covered Bazaar, Sultan II.

We took a room without breakfast and enjoyed the varieties of cafes at Istiklal street instead.

- 18th floor have amazing restaurant with city view;
- ok small gym;
- nice outdoor pool.

but worth it, the restaurant and rooftop bar are independent of the hotel.

When they came to clean our room, they threw away all the juncks food that we had not opened And they were not responsible at all.

Room service is excellent here and only until 11 because of Covid occupancy numbers,

We also visited Cafe Mamara and had a fabulous meal by Chef Dogan and fantastic table service by Selguk!

The hotel is in a great location, just off Istiklal Caddesi, the pedestrian shopping street with everything from international chain stores, souvenir shops and a huge variety of restaurants and bars.

Our  room here had a musty and unappealing odor.

Unfortunately, like everywhere else outside of North America, the hotel has a hard time keeping cigarette smoke out of the non-smoking rooms,

but the staffs there are rude and worst behavior.

Staff is extremely rude and racist There was no luggage help at check in.

Also be aware of rude staff in the roof bar after 6pm.

Total downer was the staff, the pool is open till 6pm at 5:30 they told us, in a very rude way, that the pool is now closed and just took all the chairs.

And he asked for the money with rude way while I was talking he cut me off and he said with annoying tone 300 dollars and visa before everything !!

Damla checked us in and was extremely courteous and helpful.

We were welcomed by Ibrahim Cetin, who took all the opportunities to make our trip great.

The staff were generally kind and well mannered and also assisted us with providing a cot for our 10 month babygirl

Housekeeping forgot to bring few times one or two towels.

I called for towels and nobody came for over an hour, at which point I had to leave.

no very lousy service - I requested some soap and towels 4 times never came- not clean, smelly, staff friendly in the chat

Room service was a bit slow (we had to call twice for clean towels),

Ask them to change your towels daily otherwise they'll never do!!

The only problem was the bathroom, the floors getting very wet and one floor towel wasn't enough to soak water.

The service however was a tad tardy and getting sufficient towels or tea bags had to be chased for closure -small issues

I had the best time at The Marmara Pera in a City View room.

The Best was the rooftop pool and the view was just unbelievable , my favourite.

Stunning views from the roof and worth it for that.

We were on the 17th floor which gave us fantastic views over the city.

However, it was quite charming and had a great view of Istanbul.

The room was super clean and has fantastic view to the old town and Bosphorus👌👌.

The 'Superior Room with City View'  looks out on to a large carpark and a city skyline in the far distance, which was a little underwhelming.

The rooms themselves are comfortable, with great pillows (an important measure for me) and great views of the Bosphorus from some rooms.

but decided to extend our stay due to the incredible views and amazing service!

Room very clean and I had an amazing view for the city and the bridge .

Be careful to mention for sea view superior room and ensure that a room with a full sea view is booked.

The rooftop bar was the greatest place to sip a drink and enjoy the views of the city especially in the evening.

We stayed in the 1701 suite, really clean/new room, astonishing view & an amazing service.

on the ninth floor was really well appointed, with a great view of the sea, some very stylish furniture and a lovely bathroom (although getting into and out of the bath/shower could be more challenging to someone with shorter legs!).

Great location for the sights and we were upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking The Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia.

It’s in a perfect location for visiting the main attractions, it staff are polite and very helpful, the breakfast provided a great choice and the room we had was perfect, clean, large and nicely air conditioned.

The hotel is located in a little street that crosses a bigger one, where you can find  T1 Tram Line (one of the main lines that takes you basically to the main touristic places).

The best thing about this hotel is the location.

Rast Hotel is centrally located, well connected and close to lot of restaurants.

We loved it for it’s great location in Sultanahmet.

The ambience is not helped by very poor lighting with common areas, in particular, very dark and dingy.

but due to poor maintenance ,looks old and dirty.

Unfortunately the bathroom had a funny smell and the laundry service was poor.

Good breakfast, decent shower and bed, make up for many shortcomings - poor lighting in rooms and landings, Centrally controlled air-conditioning cannot be adjusted, TV in room was the size of a tablet and had very poor reception of international channels, no second key, no laundry service.

However it has resulted in me rating them "poor" on service,

I stated that I was  not happy with the fact that we had recieved so poor a statrt to our honeymoon.

Nice view from the room (at least where I was) and nice breakfast.

They threat me as family the stuff are very helpful the room is right for the price the location is good just don try to eat the restaurant they RIP you off no public transportation around you you should walk to sultan Ahmed mosque in order to find other wise the hotel is clean the breakfast is normal

I got a room with Marmara sea view, also great sea view from the rooftop, where the breakfast is served.

The breakfast was homey and the bread was delicious.

.. Breakfast was OK. the crew were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast on the rooftop was nice with lots of choice and had  a great sea view.

The ladies who serve breakfast in the morning make a delicious meal.

The management  was very flexible and cooperative  in respect of check-in and check out.However the room space and breakfast was blow than expectation.Overall a pleasant stay.

Sweet, authentic place with very tasty breakfast.

Breakfast is very Tasty, all thanks to the Hospitality staff who takes very good care of every guest.

The staff are excellent  - on the front desk, and, in particular, the lady that serves breakfast is a delight.

2-) The room was quite, big, with a refrigerator, privete bathroom, every day cleaning service, free breakfast, the room had doble glass to avoid any noise, safe box.

Very clean room, beautiful views of the Sea of Marmaris, staff great, Turkish breakfast very good.

Breakfast is on the 4th floor and was pretty good.

In spite of the fact that we had breakfast the first, went full till 14:00 at least.

But bed is very small for couples, so much noise because of some construction works going on in this hotel and breakfast is not up to the mark.

but not really great, there is construction plot (noisy in the day time), railway (Marmaray line) below your windows.

Construction noise next door on a Saturday until around 8 pm.

The sea view is a disappointment (both from the room and the terrace - there is construction on the main street, Kennedy Caddesi, and so the cranes ruin the view).

And don`t expect a sea view like on the fotos because right as now there is a huge and rather noisy construction area between the hotel and the sea.

It was a little noisy as at the moment it overlooks a construction site.

The construction by the bay is a little disturbing

The only slight problem we had was the construction going on for all hours of the night at the port down from the hotel.

We were already aware from other reviews that construction was going on and at times it did disturb our sleep.

Even without this construction, we could hear the freeway down below.

Centered between the top sights, the metro and boardwalks the hotel got the perfect location.

Perfect location with walking distance to the main touristic places, even not far from Galata Bridge.
