The room is very comfortable and the roof top has such a beautiful view of the Mosque.

This lovely hotel is ideally located just a few minutes away from the key attractions of Istanbul (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace etc).

We were within short walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Market, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofya, the Blue Mosque, the Roman Cistern and a sea of Restaurants and shops.

Steps away from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque with numerous cute restaurants everywhere you look.

A few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and Hippodrome.

The location was perfect, 7 minutes walk to the main attractions (Aya Sofia, the blue mosque) and to the tram station.

Ist is great located near to the Sultan Ahmed mosque.

This hotel is located on Sultanahmet, 2 minutes on foot from the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia and a few meters from Tram station to take you across the Galata Bridge.

Within minutes you can reach to the main historical places such as Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque.

We were with a friend in this hotel for two nights, we were very satisfied, 3 minutes walk to the blue mosque, clean comfortable room, very good-natured helpful staff.

We were only minutes away to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.Actually I chose the hotel fort his reason.But we arrived here ,from the first moment until we leave this wonderful property,we felt very happy every moment we spent here.Especially the staff and the owner himself are there for you all the time.This is the key point for a good vacation.We had breakfast at the top floor.Very nice view and delicious dishes every morning.Thanks to all the staff and Mr.Harun making our stay the best.

Wonderful staff; great location close to the top attractions, the tram line, and nearby restaurants; impeccably clean and comfortable room (we loved the rose petal touch); and a very nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the top of the Haggia Sofia.

The room was clean and cozy and i also appreciated the fact that the hotel was not too much big since you breathed a familiar atmosphere.

Amazing location (2 minutes away from every place you must go in Istanbul), super nice, kind and helpful staff, very clean rooms and common areas, nice typical breakfast.

The room was well equipped and clean, I must say the location is perfect!

The breakfast room is on the roof with a lovely view of Istanbul and the water.

The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

although the bathroom was a little too small.

On the down side the rooms were a bit small

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The rooms are small (think London) and the hotel has no other amenities like a pool or fitness center etc.

though the room was on the small side; albeit within minutes of the hagia sofia and blue mosque.

The hotel is small and I think just has 14 rooms.

From day one the Service and Staff have been Excellent.

The staff are super friendly, helpful, and kind.

I found a very qualified and cordial staff.

But the main strength of this hotel lies in its people: we felt very warmly welcomed and taken care of thanks to Mert, Halli and Rahman!

Magnificent hotel with a magical location to visit everything, we loved all the staff so responsive to all our requests, they made all the reservations for the restaurants and the entrances to the various tourist activities, exceptional breakfast, we recommend this magnificent hotel

I say that because the hotel was wonderful, especially the staff, who bent over backwards to make sure everything that we needed was done.

The food was delicious, the place was super clean, and the owner was a true host that made me feel he cared about me and my safety.

They were polite and helpful, especially with the stroller, answering our questions, organizing the cruise and pick up from and to the airport.

The hotel staff go above and beyond for their guests and make them feel like family.

Amazing hotel in the center of Sultanahmet, very close to all main sightseeings: Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Topkapy Palace, Suleymaniye Mosque.

We easily walked to the Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Yeni Mosque, Suleymaniye Mosque, Theodosius Obelisk, Column of Constantine, Topkapi Palace, and the Bosphorus Strait Cruise ship line-up.

The terrace view of the Hagia Sophia was an amazing sight to take in.

Short walk just 2 minutes to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapi Palace.

A few meters from the, Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace.

A few more minutes to Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is located in the very center, it is difficult to think of a better location relative to the main attractions (walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more).

Breakfast buffet on the rooftop was more than adequate-lots of choices with great views of the city.

The location, view from the roof and owner/staff were amazing.

We kinda had a view from the balcony--made up for by going up from our 4th floor to the 5th.

The roof top view of the Hagia Sofia was breathtaking.

negative: the walls are too thin so you can here people next to you and it makes noisy, the price is a little high for what it is.

Tourist attractions ; What we did not expect was that it has a historic abandoned hamam in front, Old Hagia Sofia (read about it :) ) and Old city walls in 1 mins walk.

Only downside is the thin walls and street noise

Walls are fairly thin as you can hear your neighbors,

Walls are extremely thin and you can easily hear a conversation next door or even the tv.

We stayed at the Ada Hotel Istanbul one-bedroom apartment for about 20 days.

2) one bedroom apartment is big enough and full equipped 
3) every day cleaning and changing of towels and bed linens 
4) very quiet , even there is a busy street around you can’t hear the noise inside !

We took a One bedroom apartment with sea view.

We were coming from a 1 bedroom apt from Nashville and felt right at home here. 3.

What made our stay most enjoyable is the nicely decorated, beautiful one-bedroom apartment we got, with great amenities (including free international calls) and the hospitality delivered by the owner, Dr. Sumengen, himself.

We had two spacious one-bedroom apartments for 5 people.

From the reception to the breakfast wich is so so so yummy and on the terrace with a view.

At the breakfast time, we go the terrace at the 5th floor, which is widely facing the Marmara sea, and find various type of food in the buffet, beside  those ladies upstairs who welcome us with smiley face all the times.

Breakfast has a beautiful view and the food is very good.

Breakfast also really good with plenty of options.

The breakfast is awesome, the staff very helpful and we would definitely recommend you stay at this hotel.

We stayed for8 nights in one bedroom apartment.It had a great sea view with balcony.The rooms were very clean and comfortable.Everything was perfect.Amazing breakfast was made by two gorgian ladies (magda and maya)that were so nice,friendly and helpful.Two young men in reception were very responsible and helpful.Location was good.I absolutely recommend Ada hotel .

Staff also brought me my breakfasts to the apartment block I was staying in when I needed it and saw to all my needs perfectly - they were very kind and accommodating people - its a small run hotel,

The hotel manager and staff were very kind and friendly and the hotel environment was very clean and we also ate a variety of delicious breakfasts every day.

The people speak good English and the breakfast is very good.

Breakfast is in the cafe on the top floor of the hotel with panoramic views of the Marmara Sea where Little Hagia Sophia, two nearest mosques (Sokollu Mehmed Pasha and Iskender Aga), the remains of Constantinople walls and the Yenikapı complex can be seen.

And the girls are wonderful, these are the same that serve you breakfast and then come clean the room.

Every morning they took care of the breakfast time smiling and laughing with us.

I don't know how they cook amazing breakfasts and clean all the rooms so well.

We could see the Bosphorus from our window and from the breakfast terrace on the top floor the view was tremendous!

The location is great, the staff were lovely, the hotel was nice and clean, and they served an amazing traditional Turkish breakfast, all at a very reasonable price.

Jana welcomed us every morning with a smile and a hug and a delectable breakfast!

Girls were present and discrete at the same time, always smiling, preparing rich and homemade warm breakfast.

My last hotel in Istanbul (for business) charged me for every local call.

but a nicer, larger room than I had reserved, at no extra charge.

One queen bed, a cot was also provided at no extra charge.

•  Water in the fridge is only charged at cost – no mark up.

When you pick up your phone in any room, you are on a direct line to the US or Canada for no extra charge.

He didn't even charge us for the extra breakfast we had.

We were also not charged for the two bottles of water from the fridge.

My trip was a last-minute decision and I found some of the hotels (if you book directly) asking for credit card details either by fax (I don't have access to a fax machine) or by email (not secure and I wasn't comfortable with it).

Water, as in all Istanbul, is not drinkable (or safe for brushing teeth), so it was necessary to use bottled water provided for in room (and we were charged street prices for it).

Also, unless you have the business card of the hotel w/ you, it will be hard for a cab driver to find the hotel.

but he insisted that my husband and I take this room at no extra charge.

Dr and Mrs Sumengen and their children (a young man and a young woman) are Istanbul's finest calling card.

On Monday, after the weekend guests had left, the host offered to upgrade our room at no additional charge.

Also it was easy few minutes to walk to all the sights such as the blue mosque and bazaar areas and staying at Ada rather than in a big hotel in outer part of  istanbul I received the true taste of Turkish and their lovely hospitality with the shops and cafes and little parks//squares/mosques all so near by also.

Due to the hotel's location in one of the best parts of Europe, Istanbul, we were able to easily walk to antiquities such as the mosque in the shortest possible time.

It's very close to a mosque so you are awoken at 6am

We walked  out the door, around the corner and we were in the hippodrome and at the foot of the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and cisterns.

The Hotel is about 5 minute walk from the main square that has the Hippodrome, Theodus' Obelisk, Hagia Sofia, and the Blue Mosque.

Wake up hungry because the breakfast is excellent with a gorgeous view overlooking a mosque and the water.

The blue mosque and other notable sites were a short walk away.

20 mins from Ataturk airport, in the middle of the Old City (Sultanahmet), 5 minutes’ walk from the most popular Istanbul sights; the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Ayasofia (Hagia Sofia), Hurrem Sultan's Baths, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Basilica Cistern and loads of shopping – I suggest the Arasta bazaar next to the Blue Mosque, which is smaller and less intense than the Grand Bazar.

The hotel offers a very nice rooftop patio for breakfast (very good by the way, and with 2 delightful staff who even made us a huge plate for our checkout day - very thoughtful) and a sundowner, with a few of the Sea of Marmara and the mosque directly downhill.

The food is always fresh, very tasty, with a wide range of dishes, numerous ready-made Turkish dishes are served for guests, freshly cooked omelets, purees, toasts in batter, burek with cheese, pancakes, and in addition - Turkish coffee.

The Breakfast has about 4 varieties of eggs in various forms - omelet ( they bring to your table ), eggs, kofte, olives, breads, etc.

5 ) there is a variety for breakfast every morning, delicious Turkish pie and omelet served on the table while you can enjoy a beautiful view of Marmara sea !

Variety of egg dishes (omelets, sunny side up, scrambled), french toast, granola, Turkish meze's, variety of fruits, sausages and meats, cereal, variety of cheese, jams, honey, filtered coffee, tea, and much more.

It offers an opulent selection of turkish dishes and continental breakfast components - you can easily combine your beloved Müesli with some exotic aubergine dishes, sausages or omelets.

but there were several annoyances such as a faucet that was totally wobbly or a very small shower that was leaking on the floor.

but some if you are a very fussy traveler, you might think the elevator too tiny or the shower a bit small (then again, other rooms even have a jacuzzi!).

Bathroom was quite small seeing the room size

The hotel rooms are small and the bathroom no more than a corridor.

The bedroom included a hot tub (which neither of us used), and the bathroom  was small
