The position is very strategic, just a few minutes from Hagia Sofia.

This lovely hotel is ideally located just a few minutes away from the key attractions of Istanbul (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace etc).

The terrace view of the Hagia Sophia was an amazing sight to take in.

We were within short walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Market, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofya, the Blue Mosque, the Roman Cistern and a sea of Restaurants and shops.

Steps away from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque with numerous cute restaurants everywhere you look.

Located near Hagia Sophia, Blue mosk and other main locations.

This is a very nice hotel with a gracious host located near Hagia Sophia.

White House Hotel Istanbul is located in the heart of the historical peninsula and it is within few munites walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Archeology Museum, the Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar.

We were only minutes away to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.Actually I chose the hotel fort his reason.But we arrived here ,from the first moment until we leave this wonderful property,we felt very happy every moment we spent here.Especially the staff and the owner himself are there for you all the time.This is the key point for a good vacation.We had breakfast at the top floor.Very nice view and delicious dishes every morning.Thanks to all the staff and Mr.Harun making our stay the best.

The room is very comfortable and the roof top has such a beautiful view of the Mosque.

The location was perfect, 7 minutes walk to the main attractions (Aya Sofia, the blue mosque) and to the tram station.

Ist is great located near to the Sultan Ahmed mosque.

This hotel is located on Sultanahmet, 2 minutes on foot from the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia and a few meters from Tram station to take you across the Galata Bridge.

We were with a friend in this hotel for two nights, we were very satisfied, 3 minutes walk to the blue mosque, clean comfortable room, very good-natured helpful staff.

All major Sultanahmet area attractions like Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque, Bucolean Palace, Topkapi Palace, and Basilica Cistern are in about just 2 munites walk.

The location is top, two minutes from the Blue Mosque.

There is a terrace that has a wonderful view of the Blue Mosque.

The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

although the bathroom was a little too small.

On the down side the rooms were a bit small

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The rooms are small (think London) and the hotel has no other amenities like a pool or fitness center etc.

though the room was on the small side; albeit within minutes of the hagia sofia and blue mosque.

The hotel is small and I think just has 14 rooms.

From the terrace where breakfast is served, there is an excellent view of the Bosphours and the Aya Sophia.

On the top floor there is a magnificent view of the sea and the Haghia Sophia.

From day one the Service and Staff have been Excellent.

The staff are super friendly, helpful, and kind.

Wonderful staff; great location close to the top attractions, the tram line, and nearby restaurants; impeccably clean and comfortable room (we loved the rose petal touch); and a very nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the top of the Haggia Sofia.

I found a very qualified and cordial staff.

But the main strength of this hotel lies in its people: we felt very warmly welcomed and taken care of thanks to Mert, Halli and Rahman!

I say that because the hotel was wonderful, especially the staff, who bent over backwards to make sure everything that we needed was done.

The food was delicious, the place was super clean, and the owner was a true host that made me feel he cared about me and my safety.

They were polite and helpful, especially with the stroller, answering our questions, organizing the cruise and pick up from and to the airport.

The hotel staff go above and beyond for their guests and make them feel like family.

The hotel is located in the very center, it is difficult to think of a better location relative to the main attractions (walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more).

Breakfast buffet on the rooftop was more than adequate-lots of choices with great views of the city.

The location, view from the roof and owner/staff were amazing.

We kinda had a view from the balcony--made up for by going up from our 4th floor to the 5th.

Tourist attractions ; What we did not expect was that it has a historic abandoned hamam in front, Old Hagia Sofia (read about it :) ) and Old city walls in 1 mins walk.

Only downside is the thin walls and street noise

The hotel is quite comfortable for a 2 night stay and has a great view of the Acropolis.

Hotel has the best view of the Acropolis from its roof top terrace.

This small hotel had 24 hour desk service, helpful staff, a delicious rooftop breakfast which had a great view of The Acropolis.

Enjoy Super an varied breakfast or drinks on roof top terrace with superb  view over acropolis.

This was nice property at a good value located on the south side of the Acropolis.

The Acropolis View Hotel has an amazing rooftop terrace.

Perfect location, wonderful view of the Acropolis and Parthenon and above all outstanding service.

The location was perfect with wonderful views of the Acropolis from our room and the rooftop terrace.

It is literally 5 minutes from the Acropolis.

The view from the rooftop was fantastic and each evening we ended up sitting on the rooftop looking at the view of the Acropolis and Athens while drinking a glass of wine.

Watching the sunset and the lights coming on over the Athens and the Acropolis is a must.

but it's also right next to the Acropolis and has the best view in the city.

Its centrally located , acropolis was about a 10 minute walk,plaka(shopping and dining area) was about a 20 min walk.

In fact, when you visit the Acropolis site you will easily be able to see this hotel as one of the closest.

At night you can order from the bar and have a drink on the roof and you see the Acropolis.

3 star hotel just near start of pedestrian walkway to acropolis site.

The jewel in the crown was the hotel rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the Acropolis.

Do visit the rooftop at dusk to see an amazing view of the acropolis.

The rooftop garden is where you have your morning breakfast, afternoon wine or late-night cigar, all with direct straight-on views of the Acropolis.

We can hear people talking in the hallway, next door, door slamming, shower running etc….

But the fact that guests were obviously asleep and not answering did not deter the hotel staff who then knocked on the door to get us up,  Reminded me of being in boarding school.

A very in adequate response when we felt like somebody would be kicking our door in the night before.

The only downside to the hotel is that you tend to hear everything from the stairwell (guests coming and going,  talking and shutting doors) and some the other rooms which can  disturb your sleeping if you are not a heavy sleeper.

The doors need better insulation to prevent slamming, and management needs to impose a quiet hour (10 pm to 7 am?).

What you end up with is youth hostel antics: screaming, yelling, doors slamming and echoing, all crowned by constant dragging and echoing of their chairs at their parties on the rooftop terrace.

Window/patio door did not have dark curtains so pretty much light came in.

Styling is dated.Bathroom small, shower tiny, Room was not soundproof, could clearly hear room next door, so much so that it sounded like they were in our bathroom.

I think the internal walls are just a bit thin and you can hear your neighbours having conversations and quite a lot of slamming doors.

The only downside was a broken door to a storage place located next to our room where you could see all their cleaning utensils, extra mattress, etc ( would give one star for this detail).

I wish my door to the room closed quietly,

We had a small balcony which overlooked a road which could be quite noisy with the door open.

The one element that struck me as unusual is that the front door is locked as it gets later so you have to get the attention of reception to let you in- an unusual situation to me,

If you sit on the toilet watch your knees because the door will hit them when opened.

Also, you can hear every door in the hotel close.

It sounded like the people in the adjoining room were in our room and you could hear every door in the hotel slam shut.

The only downside is the construction next door, so it will be very noisy during daytime.

There was noise and some dust from the building site next door - this was no problem to us as we were out during the day,

In this regard, the Greeks certainly could learn something from the Turks - witness all the fabulous hotels and their rooftop terraces in Istanbul, luxuriating in the views of the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia.

Room is comfortable and practical for a couple to stay and enjoy Athens,

Our room was pretty and very comfortable.

Friendly staff, straight forward rooms with everything you need.

Our room was on the 2nd floor and was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed.

The views from the balcony rooms are incredible.

The rooms while small were spotless and well maintained.

The staff were so helpful and kind, the room was simple

WE got in early and they got us into our room way before check in time.

The hotel rooms are well equipped with really comfy beds and we even had a small balcony with lovely views.

Please note- the rooms are typical size for European hotel—we rented triples and they were honestly perfect!

I stayed there twice during my time in Athens  & my room each time had a good view of the Parthenon.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean with comfy beds and the breakfast is amazing with such a huge variety of food choices.

When the only criticism is 
The fridge in the room is noisy and the bathroom on the small side that sums up what a wonderful small hotel this is.

I was a little worried when booking this hotel because there were some reviews complaining about the tiny showers and noise level.

but i would say a double with an extra bed, so a bit tight for 3. and a tiny bathroom.

Small charming hotel with really magnificent view to Acropolis, walking distance to all the major points, in the quite area of Athens.Just check the size of beds while reserving, because some of the beds are very small so is shower cabin.Good breakfast.

What I like less:
Small bathroom, personally I didnt find it inconvenient.

The bed was VERY hard and the shower was VERY small for a larger man like myself.
