We have stayed in Tui sensori hotels ( now Tui  Blue) and the contrast was marked
There is NO Wow factor for this hotel other than it's location ( great for fit people

It explores the Ionian Sea and you can stop off for a swim in the Blue Lagoon and shopping in nearby Syvota.

Stunning location, amazing staff, great food, beautiful beach, clear clean blue sea.

Best bet if you are ging all inclusive are the G&T and the La Grotta Verde Blue one (ask for Smirnoff instead of local vodka and they seem happy to oblige).

but tasty . Jumping off the boat into the Blue Lagoon was good fun too .We danced on the deck on the way back to some good tunes ( I do like a boogy ! )

The beach itself is lovely, great for swimming in the lovely clear blue sea & you can stroll down it to Agios Gordis which is about five minutes away for shops bars & restaurants.

This was such a fun day out where you stop off on a little beach and have a bbq and go to the blue lagoon where they stop for you all to jump in and enjoy the crystal blue sea.

The room was lovely looking straight out to over the blue med with the sound of the sea - beautiful.

From the beautiful clear blue sea to the modern newly designed room, everything was great.

The beach was great!clean warm sea!its turquoise blue!

(Alcholic cocktails) - Black Russian (My Personal favourite), Sea Breeze, Coconut Breeze, Gin Fizz, Blue Lagoon and another 5 or so on the menu.

All in all we did have a lovely holiday thanks to Dawn and all the staff

We booked our holiday with friends to jointly celebrate our 31st and their 30th wedding anniversarys through Tui, a week cruising on the Tui Marella Explorer around the Greek Islands with a further week at the hotel as a nice relaxer.

The staff at this hotel are absolutely brilliant and helped make the holiday so enjoyable.

The food like any all inclusive holiday gets boring so that’s what is aspected.

Great hotel for a get away from it all break, their is a great beach for snorkelling, swimming, tanning and you can hire a pedalo or a boat.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone at Mayor La Grotta Verde for an amazing holiday and birthday, you could not have done more to ensure we had the most memorable of times.

All in all a great relaxing holiday and we spent last day planning our return next year hopefully.

The highlight of our holiday was the pool bar at the upper pool.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday and I'm already itching to go back!

We arrived at the Mayor La Grotta Verde after week holiday on TUI’s Marella Explorer.

The food was delicious and I take my hats off to the waiters, waitress, chefs and everyone who works in the catering side of things in the hotel you made my holiday I love food!!

Incredible setting and must be one of the best holiday dining and after meal drink views anywhere.

Starting on a positive we had a lovely holiday as it is what you make of it.

The quality of our holiday was also enhanced by the wonderful service provided to us throughout our stay by the Doukas Dawn, the Guest Relations Manager.

We paid a lot for this holiday and did not get good value for money at this hotel.

but about 10 minutes walk from main hotel steep climb back to  bungalow ,beautiful beach and nice flat walk too small village along beach a lot steps down too beach free sun bed on beach beware if you stay in bungalow take plenty of mosque repleant and  bite spray my husband and I got loads of bites I think this is because of all the trees and shrubs around bungalow

Lovely hotel set into the hills of corfu with amazing views, from your hotel room you can look out to the ocean, beach front experiences immediately outside of the amazing Agios Gordios, amazing helpful staff and small local village with all amenities required.

Also all of the staff in Ocean view were attentive.

but there is an additional three wonderful restaurants- Greek (Areti), French (Ocean View) and Italian (Perla) to dine at.

As every room is ocean facing imagine our surprise on pulling the curtains back we were lookibgcag the sea through a restaurant!

We experienced some great interaction with particular members of staff this year and we would like to give them a mention as a way of recognising their commitment to making your stay memorable:
Thomas, Antonia, Victor, Ionna and Sarah(bar team) Svetlana (Ocean View); Irena from reception who provides local knowledge for walking; Dawn the guest relation manager who goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is memorable and of course Anastasia dining coordinator and our Greek tutor.

This room had again a spectacular view over the ocean.

The A la Carte restaurants were excellent, food, service  and simply amazing views from the Italian called Perla and the ocean view, which served french cuisine.

Firstly, it must be stated that the hotel itself is really pleasant, scenic with really spectacular views of the sunset and the ocean below.

The evening meal in Ocean View and Areti were particularly delicious.

My favourite was the ocean view restaurant lovely views, lovely food and good service!

The specialist restaurants, particularly the Ocean View were excellent.

The Greek - Areti and the French - Ocean view were slightly better as air con was quite good here and food was lovely.

I do reccomend the greek restaurant and the ocean view (french) restaurant which Is opposite the bar at dinner and lunch.

On the TUI all inclusive you can book in here once each druing your stay.

Our room was OK certainly not superior and our sea view was through the open air Ocean View restaurant not quite what we expected.

We didn’t manage to get a reservation in Ocean View (French Restaurant).

A spectuclair view overlooking the ocean, and a lovely furnished room, everything looked new.

It was small and cramped, the bathroom was very dark and the lighting poor and it has a step up to enter it which is hazardous.

but, the quality of the drinks (beer/wine), were quite poor.

although billed as 'local' was of very poor quality and anything of better quality incurred an extra charge.

We asked for a refund for our last day because of the poor service and they said We can leave

If you run a Karaoke night you would expect one of the Entertainment team to be able to sing..
on the whole the Entertainment was rather poor at night

- The filter coffee included with the breakfast was very poor.

Soft drinks (juice was from concentrate), coffe was poor quality

After politely asking for a refund via Qantas their became a huge issue of extremely poor professional communication via the hotel management and Qantas.

The poor was murky again we didn’t see anyone clean this during our stay.

Most nights we ate our due to the food being very poor, always warm, never hot, very repetitive and just not of a great standard.

The quality of service is poor, not enough staff in the restaurant so slow to clear tables or provide drinks.

many of the advertised bars and special restaurants were not open and the pool towels they supplied where of poor quality frayed and with holes in them when we asked for clean replacements we were told they had run out.

but quality is really poor.. plastic tomato in Greece during summer, it wouldd be better to have 2 choices for meat than 5 and all of them poor quality (cooked beef - more like cooked cartilage), there was only chicken leg not breasts file and even chickend leg somehow wasn't tasty.

Food - overall the food in the a la carte was very poor, the only one we all enjoyed was the Italian.

One complimentary voucher was given to eat at the ala-carte , which was a lovely change to be served at your table and not having to que for 10 minutes every morning and evening to enter the restaurant.

Local beach restaurants are very good and cheaper than hotel even when paying the surplus.

As you cannot eat for free at the pool bar.

though I was having dinner in Marks and Spencer's cafe!

We tried the a la carte restaurants, which incurred an extra charge,

The restaurant was also the farthest from here.

Extremly dissapointed food well never had a decent hot meal always barely warm,I did ask re microwave

The food in the buffet restaurant was good and enjoyable with a reasonable selection 4/5.

but buggies available if you need them food good and varied staff very friendly we were celebrating our 40th anniversary and it was just perfect made special by the staff can definitely recommend

We didn’t bother with the A la carte restaurants as the food was so good in the buffet restaurant, and their opening hours were a little sporadic.

the food was probably the best weve experienced here, lots of choice always plenty of everything, all inclusive  drinks were very nice and generous amounts of spirit.

We ate outside every evening just to watch the sun go down.

Food is standard buffet style like all other all inclusive hotels.

The hotel is nice, with several restaurants and bars.

We used the main buffet restaurant for all three meals, enjoying a wide range of foods that were not repeated on the whole across the 2 weeks we stayed there.

There are buggies that will take you from the reception to the lower block, and as far as one of the pools.

The pool areas were lovely and clean and welcoming.

The staff were very helpful and hardworking.

Instead we could see the roof of the reception and the driverway, or to the right another concrete slab the roof of some kind of reservoir or engine house.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean & tidy.

Guys at Calypso Bar fantastic unlike the entertainment.

The staff are nice the entertainment guy was great.

More importantly all the staff were friendly, helpful and did everything they could to give the guests a great time.

This is a 5 star hotel, in a 5 star location, with 5 star accommodation, 5 star food and 5 star plus staff.

Big shout out to reception staff regarding our late picjk up to return home.

All the staff were helpful and friendly and always smiling and cheerful.

Our second time this year staying here, the staff are really friendly, the hotel is located on hill side with some of the most amazing views and sun sets.

Cannot recommend the staff highly enough, fantastic.

Recommend the Lemon Tree, great atmosphere, music and drinks.

If you want a decent cocktail, go to The Lemon Tree or Robins Nest in the town.

The little village is a short walk down the beach and has some lovely restaurants and the cocktail bar the Lemon Tree is awesome.

In particular The Lemon Tree & Funkyland for cocktails, and there is a Mexican restaurant next to the Lemon Tree which does the most amazing chilli nachos!

The hotel is in a good location the local village is 5-10mins walk away and as plenty of nice bars (robin nest and the lemon tree are great) , supermarkets, and places to eat.

Also went for a drink at the Lemon tree which is a lovely little bar with neon lights and a good vibe.

A special mention to the Ark for food and we loved the Lemon Tree for a cocktail.

The village was a short stroll away along the beach  we went to the lemon tree and robins nest very enjoyable bars
The trip to corfu town from the hotel for 9 euro return was a lovely day out apart from the rain great little shops for presents.

Cocktails at the Lemon tree and Robin's Nest, these were great bars, sadly not enough people whe we went

Highly recommend the lemon tree for a nice cocktail and the robins nest for a interesting outlook of a bar very crazy

We also had a few drinks at the lemon tree, and at robins nest - both excellent!

I can recommend time out for a Frape in the day, Madison Gardens & The Lemon Tree for great cocktails & drinks at night & Sebastian for a great Greek meal.

For those you need to visit The Lemon Tree in the village!

Had to escape to the lemon tree for a good margarita.

The Lemon Tree cocktail bar sits next door which is a bonus 😁 

We were in room 2511 which was a quiet high floor room with an uninterrupted view of the whole bay. Gorgeous!!

We visited a cocktail bar called The Lemon Tree, fantastic place and worth a visit.

Most nights we walked into the village where there was a few shops and bars, the lemon tree was excellent, the cocktails were very good.

The towels were not changed during our stay.

I never reach beach before 11:00 AM and I manage to find  free umbrella, towels, etc

The towels, linen, sheets , covers and robes were grey and tired.

When it comes to the loungers, I spotted many people putting out their towels to 'reserve' them in the early hours then returning to their rooms, leaving the beach 'full' yet with no-one actually on it.

but only if you leave old towels in the shower tray.

Pros:

- outside areas stunning 
- peaceful
- steps down to the beach 
- all rooms sea view 
- buffet more than edible 
- pool towels provided
- glass balcony 
- rooms cleaned to a high standard 
-shuttle bus provided into Corfu town 

Cons:

- rooms and bathroom a little outdated 
- buffet in the evening was sometimes hit or miss
- lack of entertainment both during day and at night 
- common areas need refurbishing ie.

but it took them 4 days to take the dirty plates and cutlery away and that was only done when I moved the plates to were the cups were, 4 days it took them to replace our towels in the room, didn’t sweep the floor properly, went two days without bins being emptied, and we were there for 7 days in 38 degree heat and our bed sheets were not changed ONCE.

You have to play the towel game or you lose the towel game.

but with some of the other guests, was that some people put out towels on loungers by the pool before 9am, but didn't turn up to use the space until lunchtime - pretty selfish, but you get that most places we've been to.

Supposed to have clean towels every day, lucky if one towel was changed each day.

Linen, towels and beach towels were quality.

It’s a bit tricky to get a hotel sunbed on the beach and you get drawn into the ‘towels on sun beds’ game to get one.

Beach towels also been a problem due to shortage apparently (everytime diffrent excuse).

The bathing towels for the pool/beach is a disaster.

If you’re staying here I would recommend you bring your own beach towel as they have issues with the laundry so not always available and one towel they have me was completely threadbare with holes in.

.. People are putting towels down at the beach  at around 6 am and most don't use or arrive until after 1 pm.

So if you want a place on the beach in high season, you have to get up at 7 and go down to the beach and lay your towel on.

Cleaning is hit and miss - some days they are banging on your door at 8am, others you are waiting until 4pm for new towels.

The only way you could see the sea was if you lent to one side .To me these are partial  sea views.

The view over the pool and the seafront was amazing.

The views are why this hotel is enjoying its patronage

We had a lovely de-luxe room (6212), which was in the new block, of the hotel and the view was amazing.

The view ia amazing and the hotel area is really nice

Our room was fine, which had a balcony and sea view.

Amazing view out to sea and along to Aghios Gordios.

The room itself was nice, a little dated in the bathroom,  had a great view and pretty quiet.

Swimming in the sea, with fish swimming around you and other fish leaping out of the sea before your eyes was a truly memorable experience.

The hotel location is stunning - views across the sea and glorious sunsets!

The site looks towards the west and takes advantage of the setting sun with wide windows and airy locations facing the sea.

Views from room beautiful and couldn’t hear a thing once in room.

Good bits the staff are excellent and the evening views are pretty special.

but there we not even see the sea at all, and it was even more flowers and bees there.

Jazz and blues is a well appointed bar with happy hours and live music on Sundays!

The property boasts of 2 infinity swimming pools which are breathtaking and 1 land based swimming pool, has direct beach access almost private, 4 speciality restaurants (The Tide, The Cafe, The Terrace & The Bistro), 2 Bars (Jazz and Blues & The Sky Bar), 1 Spa (Favourite Kerela), Children Play Area (indoor), Tennis Court & Badminton Court, Billiards Room, Convention Centre, 3 Banquet Rooms (which I am not sure off), 1 Palace (for super high end luxury stay consisting of 4 rooms), Buggy services, Sunset Point, Water Sports activities including Scuba Diving (although we couldn't enjoy this due to high tides and rough seas) and many more of such facilities which we might have missed out on.

Great views facing the blue Arabian sea, with a nice infinity pool, private beach, indoor activities, a nice spa that has Ayurvedic and western treatments, and nice food.

Must visit if you want to shake off the lockdown blues and enjoy you vacation in the safest atmosphere.

There is large mosque on the beach and lot of local crowd land at the beach after the prayer, making beach very crowded.

Our visit was a bag of mixed (poor and good) service:

However the service is really poor, there’s a long wait for anything and with multiple reminders.

however it still does not discount the fact that overall food quality was very poor for the price we paid for stay at Leela.

I have never seen a 5 star property where you had to request for basic niceties 

Unfortunate that the holiday was marred by poor service in our room and absolutely pathetic service in the restaurant

Travel here at your own peril if you are planning a vacation

House keeping is poor, even drinking water not provided.

The salads were really delicious and a the service team.

I request the restaurant team to plase call the housekeeping.

It was an absolute delight to come stay at the Leela palace! The food, amenities and most importantly the service (special shout out to Rahul!)

The food there was also delicious, and we really enjoyed ourselves while eating our meal.

The food here was just amazing it was both quality and quantity .

Deep ensured that our stay was comfortable and all Logistics (check in /out, airport transfers, sight seeings, meals ) were meticulous, sharp and safe.

Specifically Manju Chechi at terrace restaurant was excellent.

Fabulous view of the ocean and friendly staff especially Manju who is very attentive at the Terrace restaurant.

Food at the Terrace had all the local specialities that we wanted to try.

We loved our room, the  location is amazing, the food is excellent and most of all, the staff is the friendliest and most service minded one can imagine.

The Cafe restaurant staff Reetika, Rohika, Akash, Bhagwat and Allen are very friendly and courteous.

And for vegetarians like us it was a dinner of dal and listless naan.

The food is delicious and the staff are outstanding!!

The grounds are all beautiful, the restaurant service and housekeeping and spa are fantastic, and Deep is the best

Room service is good and of the 3 restaurants,  the main restaurant service was commendable.

Rest was excellent be it food be it service everything different restaurants with unique view and menu .Staff was too courteous enjoyed the spa also .

It was a good stay the staff here was really awsome the food and service is good pool and beach was good total ambiance of the hotel is really good..view from the room was good and the room service is good thank you

Other staff that stood out and were incredibly kind and thoughtful were Manager Reshma, and Sreenath, head of food services.

Akhilesh was taking care of the food and service in other hand Ayush was taking care of Alcohol part, he is so knowledgeable about drinks and alcohol that we had different alcohol with different mixture.

food is also great there service is nice I had no problem with this .

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, spa service and food.

..  Special mention of the dining services especially the breakfast.

The restraunts ambience is varied n captures your heart with the food n service offered by the team.The food across all restraunts was Very delicate and easy & equally tasty on our palate.My personal fav being 'The Cafe' & 'The Tides' .I could go on endlessly as the whole team at Leela Kovalam were warm and welcoming.

but the service was slow which needs to be improved as i ordered the food in night and it came after 1 and half an hour till that time my baby was asleep without eating anything.

Service in the restaurant is a bit slow maybe because hotel was at 100 percent occupancy on the days we stayed.

Just a bit slow in some service - ordered lunch in the restaurant beside the pool and it took a while to be served.

but service very slow, and they need some ice in that section!

2) Food service extremely slow and variable.

The check in was veryyyy slow so slow after being promised the rooms at 12:30 they gave it to us by 3.

however the F&B service throughout the hotel was very slow and laboured.

Eitherway it was extremely slow, with servers forgetting orders at live counters, tables not laid out etc - basic 101 level standards required in hotels of this stature.
