Location is great - mostly closed off street open to pedestrian traffic, right next to Gulhane park, tram and metro stops, walking distance to major tourist landmarks - Topkapi palace, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cisterns, Blue Mosque, Egyptian & Grand Bazaars, hammams and bridges.

The location is outstanding; across from Gulhane Park, steps from Sultanahmet (where the Blue Mosque & Ayasofya are), traffic free street.

It is within walking distance to many of the tourist sites, such as the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.

Topkapi Palace is in easy walking distance, as is Haya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Egyptian Bazar, and many restaurants and shops.

but unheard from the hotel, and you're a short walk to the Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, and other sites in one direction, a short walk in the other direction to Eminonu, the ferry piers, Galata Bridge, New Mosque and Rustem Pasa, Gulhane Park a minute away, and both touristy and non-touristy shopping and restaurants everywhere.

Despite being located close to the center of the heavily trafficked Sultan Ahmet area (Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, museums, ferries, waterfronts), this hotel is on a quiet street and overlooking Gulhane Park, yielding a very peaceful and beautiful experience, especially if you can get a balcony room.

It is close to most tourist attractions like Ayasofya, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Gulhane Park and so on.., close to the tram station and 3 minutes from Bosforus, where you can catch a boat to any another destination on the asian side of the city.

So close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, specially in terms of hospitality so nice.

but quiet hotel, a very short walk to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Galata Bridge and water transport.

but if its your first time in Istanbul, stay at one of the hotels closer to the blue mosque that has a roof top terrace.

The hotel is in a wonderful part of the city - a short walk to the Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is a short walk to Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, and Sultanahmet’s delights, and a short walk in the other direction takes you to the Bosphorus and Golden Horn.

It was very quiet, and it as wonderful to be able to look into this park and to step out the door of the hotel and walk just five minutes to get to the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque.

Topkapi Palace is just right across the street and Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque were just further up the hill.

It is in the heart of the old city, so close to all the major attractions:  Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace etc.

I was escorted to my room in the elevator!

but it works, especially with three elevators.

I was unaware that elevators for one wing of the hotel are accessed by going down a few (3?) stairs.

They are all so welcoming and friendly and go that extra mile to make your stay a great one (one even saw the tea me at breakfast and quickly swapped it out for a much better one without any ask - it’s little gestures like this that really adds to the experience).

The waitressing staff are polite and very friendly-thank you Sukru for helping me with the trams & Fathime, Celine & Sukru for the friendly hello every morning.

I stay in this hotel several times because its my favorite in location every thing is near to it marmary  and the tram station and its  rooms very clean and comfortable with excellent breakfast  and very friendly staff

We loved the cooking class he did for us (free) and the friendly staff.

Words can’t explain the how kind the staff are in this hotel, they are so friendly caring and helpful in every single way.

My husband spilled a glass of wine on the floor on the rooftop, and Sercan came up, cleaned it, and brought him a new glass, all with a friendly smile, assuring him it was no problem.

It’s in the old historic Centre near the Hagia Sophia & Gülhane Park area so it’s a great for walking to mosques of interest and the Grand Bazaar too.

The hotel is located right in the market place, walking distances to the famous mosques and Grand Bazaar.

Sikerci Mansion Hotel in Istanbul is centrally situated to the Grand Bazaar and Harbour.

Located in a very convenient location in Old Istanbul within walking distance of the most famous historic sites, including Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar.

but you can walk (5-15 minutes) to all the highlights as Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Sultan Ahmetmoskee, Grand Bazaar, etc.

The location is perfect:30metres from the tram station and 2 stops away from the Grand Bazaar.

On the top of that it is conveniently located within walking distance from the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar.

The Grand Bazaar is 20 minute walk or two trams stops (5 mins).

Once again, this was a beautiful hotel very close to all attractions and Gulhane tram stop.

Gulhane Park is right infront of the hotel, its a short walk to Galata bridge (great for fish restaurants) and Eminönü ferry pier (for ferries to other parts of Istanbul and a lot of atmosphere).

All the amenities worked perfectly – hot water in the bath/shower, effective air conditioning, coffee and tea service – and the lovely top floor room with patio afforded a charming view of the quiet street below, beautiful Gulhane Park, the Bosphorus, Galata Tower, and a large patch of Istanbul skyscrapers in the distance.

Unbeatable location opposite the green Gulhane park and short walk to both tram and Marmaray stations, we lived in the atmospheric Sirkeci area

Excellent little hotel, ideally placed in a quiet street in the old town next to beautiful Gulhane Park.

We stayed in a deluxe room on the 5th floor and loved the privacy and the space especially the balcony and  the bird calls from the park in the morning and evening.

Our rooms where very lovely comfortable with excellent views of the palace park and our last night we received an upgrade to the best room

Very quiet, we had a wonderful balcony room over looking the park.

I can only highly recommend Sirkeci Mansion, the tram stop is only a few metres away, it is also walking distance from Topkapi palace and right next to Gülhame Park.

The view from our room was stunning - view of the garden park behind the local market shops, the city by the water, watching the incoming ferries.

The park is walled, so, in fact there are shops along the wall across from the hotel.

We had a Deluxe suite at the top of the hotel which had its own balcony with views over the park by the Topkapi Palace.

Our room on the 4th floor, with view over the park, was great and had everything we needed.

You are within walking distance of the major sites and the hotel is in a quiet side street overlooking a lovely park.

The room was on the top floor overlooking the Topkapi Palace park and had a large balcony.

but found that, with our experience, it wasn't reflective of  the many positive comments..  bit outdated interior and furniture but maybe preferable to some guests who looking for that.. small rooms with some with no views.

Dining is great - great buffet, attended by great staff, afternoon tea, water and fruits when you go out, and great recommendations for restaurants in any area of the city.

We travel a lot and have never experienced such welcoming hospitality.

The staff is amazing and supportive, We missed our ride to the airport, they helped us find a ride, then we lost our passport and they again helped us.

Once you reserve your tour with him, Agah will lead you on a journey and you will feel like a local hopping onto trams and walking all around the nooks and crannies of Istanbul.

The location is perfect, close to the most of the tourist attractions , close to the tram station.

Perfect location in the middle of the historic centre, with extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms and great breakfast.

but really this wasn't my fault so he shouldn't have been unhappy with me.

but mixed weather meant limited use - not the hotel’s fault I know.

The only small criticism, which is not the fault of the hotel, is that it can be a little noisy at night due to the local bars and the tramway that goes right past the front door.

I had a cold for the first two days (I blame my sister lol) and they made sure I had plenty of mint tea to soothe my throat, without me having to ask they offered.


It is difficult to find fault with this stay!

When we had a minor lighting issue in our room, they went above and beyond to fix it.

Nonetheless, after a bit of a delay, we were on our way and the hotel worked to fix the problem as soon as they were aware of it.

Decoration: All the fittings and fixtures of the hotel have been custom-made to give a definite sense of traditional style, with an emphasis on ornate, period gilded-wood furniture, heavy drapes, floral wallpaper and velvet or satin upholstery, chandeliers and glass pendant lighting fittings and wrought-iron work.

The bathroom was separated by glass walls with curtains on the inside, which, when pulled open, created an even more airy and open space.

It had a tiny ante, a small balcony and a glass walled bathroom.

The bathroom it a bit odd in that it has glass walls with curtains.

The glass walls also mean there is just one hook right next to the shower to hang towels and robes, which can maybe hold one, two with difficulty.

The bathroom is a bit strange, a room within a room, a glass box with curtains.

The toilets were very clean and the only problem i had with it was that it had glass walls backed with almost transparent curtains.

This is a very nice hotel in the best location right next to Gulhane tram station.

Magical city and great hotel,beautifully decorated rooms,makes you feel like a sultan,amazing service,very helpful and kind also professional team,zumre guest relations helped us a lot,sort out everything for us,location is perfect,my favourite thing at breakfast was hot chocolate,we had car ,and the reception helped us to find a car park

And the most important -  it’s close to museums, mosques 🕌 parks and riverside.

You’ll be two minutes away from the tram station or the Gülhane park and within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from every major attraction.

Also hotel located just across Guihane park ( behind row of shophouse) which is a real pleasant walk.

Perfect location in the middle of the old town, within walking distance to all major sights like the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Gülhane Park, Basilica Cistern.

The hotel is really well situated close to many restaurants shops plus beautiful park only 4 minutes walk from the hotel there is a tram about 50 metres away and very cheap to travel.

The location of the hotel is perfect… The tram system is just around the corner, there’s a beautiful park across the street, Topkapi palace is also just around the corner.

It’s not so crowdy around, and at the same time it takes 5-15 minutes to get Allsofiya, great park, Egyptian Bazar and a lot of other beautiful places.

Very nice boutique hotel next to the park and a few minutes from all sights.
