Location is great - mostly closed off street open to pedestrian traffic, right next to Gulhane park, tram and metro stops, walking distance to major tourist landmarks - Topkapi palace, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cisterns, Blue Mosque, Egyptian & Grand Bazaars, hammams and bridges.

The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is great  the breakfast is delicious and the location is perfect.

For starters, the location is incredible.

The location is close to major attractions.

The shower was a little wierd, the bath doesn't drain unless you take out the plug.

I had forgotten to bring a plug adaptor with me and they were quick to lend me one for the duration of my stay.

We had the wonderful breakfast buffet and didn’t really need a lot more to eat the rest of the day.

The evening reception host was able to secure a table for me for dinner and it was an excellent place to go where views of the city could be found from rooftop dining.

Place is very clean and next to tram and lots of shopping and eateries.

Especially Sukru with all his suggestions of restaurants and helping make reservations and also helped us to navigate the place and arrange our tours.

What impressed us the most about this hotel was not the incredible accommodations, meals and amenities.

The hotel is also in a convenient spot around restaurants, the tram, a gorgeous park and walking distance from alot of attractions.

Dining is great - great buffet, attended by great staff, afternoon tea, water and fruits when you go out, and great recommendations for restaurants in any area of the city.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of tasty choices.

Among the many kindnesses, they made dinner reservations, arranged for round trip airport transfer (well worth the money for weary travelers), recommended activities,  and were consistently indulgent, patient and kind.

Staff was very accommodating with restaurant recommendations and arranging for PCR test (required for re-entry to US) at hotel.

With local tourist sites are very close with lots of restaurants near by and near bazaar

The Sirkeci Mansion is near these landmarks: Kucuk Ayasofya - Gazi Suleyman Pasa Mosque, Eurosa Travel, Keyfi Alem Playstation Cafe, Hayal İstanbul Maltepe, Chiesa di Sant'Andrea Apostolo e Santa Sofia Vedova, Covered Bazaar, Sultan II.

The hotel arranged the trip to Bursa and Uludag for us with one of their tour agents which was good price at 40USD per person which included pickup/dropoff, lunch, cable ride.

Would definitely stay here again as it is so well situated to walk to everything and a great array of restaurants nearby without having to wander too far in the evenings.

Upon arrival, we were placed in a room that had a bit of a smokey odour (from a recent fire down the street).

The hotel has a sauna, small pool and gamma!

Though if your interested in swimmkng, the pool is really small.

Once you reserve your tour with him, Agah will lead you on a journey and you will feel like a local hopping onto trams and walking all around the nooks and crannies of Istanbul.

The waitressing staff are polite and very friendly-thank you Sukru for helping me with the trams & Fathime, Celine & Sukru for the friendly hello every morning.

They've got my back when it comes to cabs, barbers, doctors, folks trying to hustle you whatever, I know that they will guide me to the best that Istanbul has to offer and will help me and my family with whatever our needs are.

Shopping is right outside your door, and public transportation is close by.

Transportation is very easy to all parts of Istanbul, walking distance to Aya Sofia , Sultan Ahmed and other attractions.

Close to cultural attractions, easy access to public transportation while within walking distance to the main points of general interest and the Bosphorus.

It’s a great location for for restaurants and public transport.

It is close to most tourist attractions like Ayasofya, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Gulhane Park and so on.., close to the tram station and 3 minutes from Bosforus, where you can catch a boat to any another destination on the asian side of the city.

It was perfect experience,  hotel location is great , staff are very coperative abd speak english very well , rooms are comfortable  clean and have nice view .1 minute walking to Gulhana Tram ( T1) and 5 minutes walking to sirkeci Marmaray .

The hotel is ideally placed near to the tram (you need a card) and main attractions.

From the moment we walked in, we were genuinely and warmly greeted at the front desk by Araz.

It’s in the old historic Centre near the Hagia Sophia & Gülhane Park area so it’s a great for walking to mosques of interest and the Grand Bazaar too.

He is happy to make reservations for pretty much anything, and he conducts in-depth tours (complementary to hotel guests, with culinary walk adding a nominal fee) that you should definitely join.

The hotel has a very convenient location for walking around all the great sights of Istanbul.

I found this place by accident as I was walking through the city.

You can also walk to the Spice Bazaar and Grand Bazzaar.

If you dont like to walk, you have a tram stop just about 50 meters away, and Marmary train station also close by.

but unheard from the hotel, and you're a short walk to the Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, and other sites in one direction, a short walk in the other direction to Eminonu, the ferry piers, Galata Bridge, New Mosque and Rustem Pasa, Gulhane Park a minute away, and both touristy and non-touristy shopping and restaurants everywhere.

The manager of the hotel, Okay, is wonderful and provides some very interesting walking tours of the city which are free and provide a great insight into this culturally fascinating city.

Easy to walk around the late evening considering we were here only for a few hours

The buffet breakfast was delicious, plentiful, fresh with lots of choices.

Women in the kitchen and guys in restaurant muhammet thanks for Turkish breakfast and service.

Jan an Onor greeted us over breakfast and chatted to us offering advise if we needed it for local attractions.

Very good variety and taste of breakfast.

The hotel and rooms are clean and they have a great breakfast spread.

The staff was so friendly and helpful and the breakfast - even small - was well chosen with local ingredients!

Turkish breakfast was tasty, with lots of variety.

They also gave us a takeaway (a delicious hazelnut spread) when we left - such a nice touch!

Stuff was very friendly, helped us in all the ways, we had extra breakfast and 9.30 early check-in, they did not charge us a penny for this.

Whether you are sipping your tea watching the sunset on the rooftop with a view of Galata and the Bosphorous, or enjoying a fresh and hearty Turkish Breakfast to start off the day, you'll feel the warm comforts of home throughout your stay.

It's super-clean, AC is very good, rooms are nicely decorated with artworks, shower is powerful, there's a nice little rooftop bar, and breakfast is good with lots of homemade produce,

Breakfast is really good, with great coffee, and the staff are really wonderful – very friendly, very effective.

The rooms are nicely decorated and have a mini bar which is chargeable.

No complaint for this hotel, prefect location for restaurant and bars around, the decoration of the hotel and the staffs are all very helpful and friendly.

The room had a funky, quirky design and I loved it.

Very nice, quirky and a small boutique hotel, there are so many different bits and bobs of interesting objects in the lobby, Rooms are nice, with comfortable beds, albeit on the smaller side.

Rooms are well designed and new renovated.

I am staying on 5th floor and never noticed any noise except for tonight due to a private party.

Some youth outside was flying a drone which hit our window and fell down.

When we check the comment once to come here people wrote Having so much noise

You can hear the bathroom door & flush from the other costumers.

The lighting in the room is not great, the fridge did not work and was leaking onto the floor, the shower door was not sealed at the bottom and 2 of my 5 showers water leaked out, and there were a couple of ants on the floor.

There was a constant air conditioning sound coming from outside.

It is quite a lively area so expect a fair bit of noise during the evening over a weekend

I had only one issue with some noise from a private Halloween party in the bar

Other disadvantage was the noise levels at night particularly on weekends- a problem I think could be fixed with the investment of double glazed windows.

The only downside about SuB Karaköy is that it is a bit noisy, as it easy in the middle of two fairly busy streets.

First of all, even i closed all of the windows, the noise from the traffic below was above my threshold and prayers from a close mosque woke me up at an early hour.

The other nights of the week had no noise issues.

Turns into a trendy bar at night time which I didn't go to and the noise didn't cause any problem from my room on floor 4.

Room was noisy, street noise, cars/trucks and also from bars and night clubs.

You will probably hear the sound of vehicles zooming past the hotel

There's construction happening on the other side of the hotel - so besides the mosque it's probably the quietest side for now.

My room was halfway facing the street and there is street noise.

but all the other nights we closed the windows and were not disturbed.

Maybe if I could talk to them about my noise concerns & find out which are the quietest rooms (we were on the first floor - maybe higher is better?).

The main problem was noisy neighborhood that the staff remind it was because of a traffic problem of Taqsim Sq.

The location of the hotel is great: close to a lot of bars and restaurants and walkable to a lot of great points in the city.

Cross the road and there is an amazing selection of restaurants and bars to choose from.

Definitely must visit Bar&Restaurant Foxy on the ground floor of the hotel.

Absolutely perfect location for checking out the Karakoy bars, restaurants and coffee shops.

Also within 100 meters you will find many cool bars and restaurants.

So great to just walk out and be able to access lots of cute restaurants anytime of the day.

The street it self is not great looking, bus round the corner You just find nice little streets, cosy bars, turists and locals having food ant fun.

We had an amazing time in Istanbul, and ate pretty well in the Karakoy neighborhood (check out Gumruk for a nice sit-down dinner, and Tahin for a more casual meal).

Very centrally located by bus, tram, and ferry stations in which you can access any of Istanbul's numerous neighborhoods. The hotel staff was great and very helpful with all our questions (and getting us our Hes codes!)

The hotel is extremely well-located in the vibrant Kadikoy district with great access to the tram and metro.

It's also just 2 minutes away from Tophane tram station.

Aip and Caner in particular were amazingly kind and helpful, always taking time to help us with bookings, transport information, suggestions of where to go etc, and generally just being great hosts.

Location is amazing, a 5 minute walk from the bridge, right around the corner from a tram spot (get the Istanbulkart).

The location is fantastic for getting around by foot or by tram.

The hotel is really close to a metro/tram station, and you can get to all places really fast (thanks to the great public transportation system in Instanbul!).

It's close to all the local transport links and the staff at the hotel are very hospitable and friendly.

The tram stop which is 2 minutes walk makes it easy and cheap to get to and from the airport.

This is a 2-minute walk from a tram that will take you many of the main sights in Istanbul in minutes.

If you don't like to walk the tram stop is very close and taxis are plentiful.

Main advantages include fantastic location- close to the tram stop and in a very trendy and hip part of Karakoy (there is a very lively strip of trendy cafes/restaurants just a couple of streets away).

The location is also nice as its walking distance to Tophane tram station from where you can connect to Ataturk airport with a stop in Aksary for 10 Turkish lira .

but skip the onions and tomatoes cause that thing had been sitting in a heating dish from at least 7 in the morning and due to the tomatoes it can go bad very very soon so i avoided it cause as soon as i opened the heating tray i knew it had been sitting there for a while.But there were plenty of other things to eat like soup and boiled eggs even sweets and fruit.I asked for the manager the kitchen floor manager he was looking around the dining room i think his name was Metin!!.

In our room the air conditioner was not working and we called at least 5 time to reception from 8 pm to 10 pm

but the AC is not working good and the wifi is almost terrible..

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was broken and not fixed despite several requests.

but air-con control did not work and I had to call to get fixed every night!

If they aren't, the aircon won't turn on.

The room was a little hot as we couldn’t fathom how to get the air-conditioning to cool it, not too much of a problem we slept with the balcony door open.
