We stayed in this hotel for a few days and it was great,spacious rooms,centrally located,good service and breakfast,close to topkapi palace,haghia sofia,blue mosque,basilica cistern,grand bazaar and Bosporus.

Location: The hotel is ideally placed for walking to many of the city’s most impressive sights, such as Haghia Sophia, Archaeology Museum, Basilica Cistern and Topkapı Palace.

It is located within walking distance of most of the biggest attractions on the European side of Istanbul - Hagia Sophia, Sulemania and Blue mosques, the Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Archaeology museum, Topkapi palace, Hodjapasha Dervish experience etc.

Near to historical monuments,blue mosque,grand bazaar,spice bazaar,topkapi palce,haghia sophia,basilica cistern, Bosphorus,galata tower,galata bridge.

It's right spot for visiting historical sites such as haghia Sophia,topkapi palce,blue mosque,basilica cistern,grand bazaars,but it's also very near by beyoglu ,walking distance to many places,breakfast was superb and the staff and service was brilliant

The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazar, Spice Bazar and Eminonu ferry port are either a 10 - 20 minute walk away or very quick journey on the same T1 tram line, depending on direction of travel on that line.

The location is great; a ten minute stroll to Gulhane park, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, the Grand Bazaar, and the waterfront.

Other attractions such as Basilica Cistern are also amazing and the people of Istanbul very kind.

The room was comfortable, room service was amazing and the location is superb as the hotel is in the thick of most historic sites and shopping arras of IST.

The main historical sites can be accessed by foot as the hotel is very close to the Blue Mosque , Hippodrome and Hagia Sofia.

Perfect location in the middle of the historic centre, with extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms and great breakfast.

but really this wasn't my fault so he shouldn't have been unhappy with me.

but mixed weather meant limited use - not the hotel’s fault I know.

The only small criticism, which is not the fault of the hotel, is that it can be a little noisy at night due to the local bars and the tramway that goes right past the front door.

I had a cold for the first two days (I blame my sister lol) and they made sure I had plenty of mint tea to soothe my throat, without me having to ask they offered.


It is difficult to find fault with this stay!

When we had a minor lighting issue in our room, they went above and beyond to fix it.

Nonetheless, after a bit of a delay, we were on our way and the hotel worked to fix the problem as soon as they were aware of it.

Decoration: All the fittings and fixtures of the hotel have been custom-made to give a definite sense of traditional style, with an emphasis on ornate, period gilded-wood furniture, heavy drapes, floral wallpaper and velvet or satin upholstery, chandeliers and glass pendant lighting fittings and wrought-iron work.

The bathroom was separated by glass walls with curtains on the inside, which, when pulled open, created an even more airy and open space.

It had a tiny ante, a small balcony and a glass walled bathroom.

The bathroom it a bit odd in that it has glass walls with curtains.

The glass walls also mean there is just one hook right next to the shower to hang towels and robes, which can maybe hold one, two with difficulty.

The bathroom is a bit strange, a room within a room, a glass box with curtains.

The toilets were very clean and the only problem i had with it was that it had glass walls backed with almost transparent curtains.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff Zumre guest relations was extremely helpful.

Guest relations Zumre checked up on us to make sure we had what we needed during the stay.

We used the spa to have a sauna/jacuzzi and had an amazing turkish bath and massage (shout out to Mehmet for mine).

This is a very nice hotel in the best location right next to Gulhane tram station.

We used the hotel transport  to and from the airport - pre-booked directly with hotel  it was punctual, safe and direct.

The tram goes past the hotel and is a very good way to get to the grand bazaar and Taksim square.

It’s location is near a ll  the sight seeing locations and within walking distance- no need for tram or taxis!

Location is also perfect for visiting attractions the tram is like minute away from the hotel and also Topkapi palace is 5min walk from the hotel.

It was easy to book the room on its website at very economical rates.

Hagia Sofya is literally 3-4 minutes away form the hotel door and on the way there you will pass the Basilica Cistern.

Walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Basilica Cistern.

This hotel is very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and tram station if you want to go to Taksim Square, Galata Tower.

Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, markets, ferries, restaurants  all within easy walking distance so it was a great location for our first visit.

The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

although the bathroom was a little too small.

On the down side the rooms were a bit small

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The rooms are small (think London) and the hotel has no other amenities like a pool or fitness center etc.

though the room was on the small side; albeit within minutes of the hagia sofia and blue mosque.

The hotel is small and I think just has 14 rooms.

They are located in the center of the old city and Topkapi Palace and Sultan Ahmet, St. Sophia are very very close to the hotel, so you can walk around.

The location of the hotel is just perfect - next to Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Blue Mosque, Egyptian Obelisk.

Short walk just 2 minutes to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapi Palace.

A few more minutes to Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is located in the very center, it is difficult to think of a better location relative to the main attractions (walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more).

Wonderful staff; great location close to the top attractions, the tram line, and nearby restaurants; impeccably clean and comfortable room (we loved the rose petal touch); and a very nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the top of the Haggia Sofia.

Example: they helped us arrange transport from IST airport, and when we landed late, I got a call from them asking if we were able to meet up with the transfer service, making sure we were ok.

The location was perfect, 7 minutes walk to the main attractions (Aya Sofia, the blue mosque) and to the tram station.

This hotel is located on Sultanahmet, 2 minutes on foot from the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia and a few meters from Tram station to take you across the Galata Bridge.

There is also a tram station a minute away for those who want to travel further like locals.

location is very convenient, since the tram is nearby, attractions are also everywhere, in general, everything is SUPER and if something is wrong, do not hesitate to contact the staff, they will do everything I recommend wholeheartedly!

We did not need any transportation during our stay.

The hotel is in a very central location, both by public transport and by taxi.
