 - The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.
 - A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.
 - However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning. The toilets are very small !
 - but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

 - As only downside, the hotel has a small, elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage it may take you a couple of trips.
 - though not all people would follow them (like not crowding elevators, wearing masks, social distance etc.)
 - As expected in European hotels, the rooms (and elevator) were on the smaller side,
 - So I ended up switching rooms - which was right by the elevator so I wasn't sure about the noise.
 - Taking the elevator to the terrace is a must because the views of the Hagia Sophia during breakfast are awe inspiring.

 - Everything was great the rooms were very clean and the breakfast options were spectacular and a great location close to a lot of good spots like the blue mosque and the grand bazaar/spice market
 - The best part was it’s location which was just 7 minutes walking to istiklal street, Bosporus was 10 minutes in cab and grand bazaar 20.
 - Other key sites to visit Istanbul , such as , Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cisterm and Topkapi Palace are in Sultanahmet, which are on the other side.
 - It is a short taxi ride away from the old city, and it would take up to 20liras to get to the Grand Bazaar or Topkapi Palace in Sultan Ahmet.

 - It had a small fridge and electric kettle.
 - It is not convenient at all and I have no idea who would have thought of placing sockets at their position.
 -
 - Period of power cuts over a 2-3 hour period which we were told was a local problem
 - but everywhere around us seemed to have power?

 - On our last night we asked for a 3:30AM wake up call and they were prompt, we were then met with a boxed breakfast while waiting for our ride.
 - Poor housekeeping: they hardly cleaned during our stay, we had to call front desk and order cleaning.
 - but housekeeping definitely needs a wake up call.
 - Upon check-in, hotel claimed they have not been informed by Expedia and demanded it is our responsibility to call Expedia.
 - My only unfortunate incident was that I accidentally left my Pandora ring on the bed and went out, while they did the room transfer and by the time I got back, the room had been cleaned and ring couldn’t be located,
