Breakfast was more on the basic side and the restaurant felt a little bit cold in the morning, with no staff around.

The breakfast was hugely disappointing with stale breads and cold eggs.

The only thing was the breakfast, it could have been better and the room where it is served was always too cold, which made it a bit uncomfortable

On our first stint, we got a room where the shower would only produce completely hot or completely cold water and hotel wouldn't switch us to another room saying they were fully booked. 3.

Try and get one with a balcony on a higher floor, as there is a nice side view of the sea.The only pain point was the unpredictable hot shower which would suddenly go cold, plumbing fittings could do with an upgrade.

We are apprehensive as the hotel didn't cost much (75 Euros a night, off season) and since our trip was in February we were concerned about the cold.

A really valuable idea if you come after a cold and rainy day, you may have some relax before going out for dinner with a tea and some pastries.

The usual line up of juices, coffee, tea, cereals, olives, cold meats and cheeses you find in Europe, and a small selection of hot dishes, Turkish style, some cakes and breads.

When I asked why there's no tissue box in the room (I had a cold and it was very inconvenient) she said there's a store nearby where I can buy some if I need it.

Nothing warm, no eggs/sausages cooked upon request, pretty small selection in a rather cold room on the ground floor.

The ACRA is well located to major attractions, restaurants and the Arasta Bazaar.

Overall the hotel is in a great location.

The food was great and the rooms were clean and well isolated and location of the hotel is close to everything in the region.

The hotel is in a great location   just about 10 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia  mosque and to the Blue mosque,  it's in Sultan Ahmet  area which is close to most must see attractions.

Location is perfect only 2-3 minutes walk to all amazing sightseeing’s at Sultan Ahmet square!

First of all the hotel was located in a very good area so that we could reach sightseeing and famous places e.g.

The hotel is located in the old part of Istanbul, at a distance of 5 minutes from the main parts of the old city.

The hotel is in a great location with most famous building in a walking distance.

You can't go wrong with Acra hotel, great location too, walking distance to all the great places in Sultanahmet area.

The location is great and the roof terrace has great views of the blue mosque and hagia Sophia.

A perfect location for the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Palace, various spice markets/bazaars and the Sultan Ahmet Parki where you can pick up the ''hop on hop off bus' to tour the city.

Great view of Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque from their rooftop terrace too.

It's at a great location near all the tourist attraction locations such as Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Place as well as the blue mosque and Grand Bazaar.

The  main USP of the hotel is its location which is very close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque and the other is their staff.

Literally five minutes on foot from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, the hotel is ideally located.

It is literally around the corner from the blue mosque with stunning view from the rooftop.

The Blue Mosque is a five minute walk, shops and eateries as well.

The hotel is strategically located and we were minutes away from the Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Square, Blue Mosque, Bazaar, Airport Bus Terminal, etc.

Hotel Uyan is unbelievably well located, just off Sultanahmet Square, midway between the Haghia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.

This hotel is just a five minute walk from Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque.

Located in the heart of Sultanahmed, 2 mins walk to Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia.

We stayed at Uyan Hotel for 5 nights in the Blue Mosque Corner Room.

The hotel is just   aa few steps from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia.

We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace, morning and night, with a panoramic view of the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Bosporus/Sea of Marmara.

Uyan is a 3 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and a 5 min walk from the Sultanahmed Trolly stop.

It’s clean, the room was spacious AND it’s a great location to the important sites in Istanbul including the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia.

Hotel is located few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia.

The biggest highlight is the location (perfect) and the reception staff.

For what I understood (I might be wrong), most of the "poor" and "terrible" reviews to be read on TA date back from the previous manager, so there seems to be much to her credit.

Breakfast is nice, the only poor moment - almost all the same food everyday.

The room was adequate, the A/C was not, we got a fan from reception the next day which helped.

We were upgraded and had a superior deluxe room.

The rooms were large, airy, clean and with good air con.

however I would strongly recommend you know which rooms you are booking if you intend to stay at the hotel.

The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are modern and the breakfast is great (you can't beat having breakfast with that view!).

I was booked into the standard double room at this hotel as part of a tour I took up with tours turkey.

Like others have noted many of the major sites just a couple of minutes walking, and I am a slow walker.

but I found it pretty slow and it was prone to drop out on occasion.

But they are pretty slow to restock the scrambled egg.

Internet is available in the room or outside, sometimes a bit slow,

although the roof terrace view more than makes up for this.

Good breakfast with pleasant view.. Staff helpful & polite.

Take your earplugs if the morning (sunrise) call to prayer disturbs you.

When I booked, I saw very nice pictures including a view of the mosque.

Remember to explore the rooftop - you will get a good view of the surroundings.

but pleasing, sunny and (as above) with a good outlook.

Be aware that this proximity means even with earplugs you will likely wake up from the sunrise call to prayer.

You can enjoy a terrace with breathtaking views.

There is only one Blue Mosque Corner Room in the hotel (it has a nice view of the Blue Mosque) and we had taken care to book that specific room on the hotel's website several weeks before our arrival.

We had a room on the top (4th) floor with a view of the Bosphorous and partial view of the Blue Mosque.

The ladies who serve breakfast in the morning make a delicious meal.

The management  was very flexible and cooperative  in respect of check-in and check out.However the room space and breakfast was blow than expectation.Overall a pleasant stay.

Breakfast is very Tasty, all thanks to the Hospitality staff who takes very good care of every guest.

The staff are excellent  - on the front desk, and, in particular, the lady that serves breakfast is a delight.

2-) The room was quite, big, with a refrigerator, privete bathroom, every day cleaning service, free breakfast, the room had doble glass to avoid any noise, safe box.

Very clean room, beautiful views of the Sea of Marmaris, staff great, Turkish breakfast very good.

Breakfast is on the 4th floor and was pretty good.

In spite of the fact that we had breakfast the first, went full till 14:00 at least.

But bed is very small for couples, so much noise because of some construction works going on in this hotel and breakfast is not up to the mark.

but not really great, there is construction plot (noisy in the day time), railway (Marmaray line) below your windows.

Construction noise next door on a Saturday until around 8 pm.

The sea view is a disappointment (both from the room and the terrace - there is construction on the main street, Kennedy Caddesi, and so the cranes ruin the view).

And don`t expect a sea view like on the fotos because right as now there is a huge and rather noisy construction area between the hotel and the sea.

It was a little noisy as at the moment it overlooks a construction site.

The construction by the bay is a little disturbing

The only slight problem we had was the construction going on for all hours of the night at the port down from the hotel.

We were already aware from other reviews that construction was going on and at times it did disturb our sleep.

Even without this construction, we could hear the freeway down below.

Centered between the top sights, the metro and boardwalks the hotel got the perfect location.

Perfect location with walking distance to the main touristic places, even not far from Galata Bridge.

The location is great--close enough to lots of the main sites yet down a quieter street which was very peaceful at night.

The location is great, many of most important sights of the city are nearby: Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, Topkapi Palace, all within walking distance.

Location is near to the city of Istanbul old town.

Location is also very convenient from the Airport and to all the major tourist attractions.

Breakfast was plentiful, the location is great - a 10 walk up reasonably quiet streets to the Hippodrome and the major sites.

Overall, the location, the staff and view from the room is excellent.

Best thing about the hotel is the location, between 5 - 10 mins walk to the blue mosque.

It's located in a very good place with less than 10 minutes walking distance to Sultanahmet Tramway station and historic area.

5-) It is located about 20 minutes walking to the Egyptian Bazaar and the Grand Bazar, to the Suleiman Mosque walking about 25 minutes, it is near to the Egyptian Bazaar.

The hotel is remarkable, it is located on the first line by the sea in the center of Istanbul.

-The rooms that looks to road not so silent.

but noise from big Kennedy Road below and from buildings more significant.

This was not the hotels fault, due to construction all night over the road.

The noise from a road next to us lasted whole night, we could also hear everything from the reception and in the room next door someone had the TV on very loudly.

but had the tram track and main road between, which at times could be noisy at night.

but a terrible noise from road and trains very close.

The transfer costs are 25 Euros one way and you can get it for 15 up the road, possibly less elsewhere.

A main road goes along the water front, and a train line, so it could have been very noisy

.pfffft the hilton's up the road for an extra 400 euro/night.

Not told we would be moved to another premises across the road.

Our room was near the top of the hotel with a sea view - the downside was that the train tracks and road are on this side of the building so could be a little noisy.

The Mamara seaside rooms,however, can be a bit on the noisy side due to the nearby trainline and main road.

The room was very clean, nice and warm in the chilly winter and shower was nice and hot.

but the staff will carry your luggage to your room if you are on the first, second or third floor.

The room I had was clean, nice and confortable.

And the view from the seaside room we had was amazing.

i got good room with beautiful view to the Marmara sea.
