On the next day before leave, the soup was too cold and had to wait airport taxi  for 20 minutes!!

The room service attendant was caring (he even offered to bring me tea as I was starting a cold!).

Drinks are served cold just the way the should be .This is the real definition of  is true to be true.

If you are not used to cold weather and will have the temperature warm in your room, would recommend you to not stay on the 3rd floor. As the constant changing of temperature when you enter/exit your room to go to other places within the hotel (lobby, spa, etc.)

The restaurant manager, Mr. Bora Akmet was friendly and recommended I try many Turkish delights.

The Japanese restaurant Isokyo is amazing.

The Isokyo restaurant is at the hotel, and maybe the best Asian restaurant in Istanbul.

Food was fantastic,service was top notch.

We also have booked dinner at isokyo restaurant and the food and service were amazing.

Of course one of the benefits of the hotel is that it has direct access to the Zorlu mall with plenty of great restaurants and high end shopping.

Hotel is connected to the Zorlu Center which is a beautiful shopping center that offers high to mid-range stores along with restaurants and a food court (even a Popeyes!).

Had private dinner and really enjoyed it.

I wish we had time to try out the last restaurant they had there.

My friends and I had such a fantastic experience at the Raffles Brunch.

We also relished our breakfast in the Rocca restaurant every morning.

From doormen to reception and restaurant staff they all seem to enjoy being being helpful!

Technology played a good role in the hotel, ipad that can help you to do almost everything starting from curtains to lights to tv till ordering food and house keeping.

All the facilites, the attention, the food and the attention again, all was superb.

Friendly staff, fast services, concierge was one important reason to make our visit to Istanbul successful,especially Mr.Erdem Gürcan at the concierge,who gave is really good answers for all of our questions when planning where to go in Istanbul  as well gave us great suggestions about really GOOD places to visit and dine.

The check in process at the hotel was swift and everyone there is so helpful.

Zarife was very experienced and she was very welcoming.

The food was fabulous, the service excellent and the staff went out of their way to give us a great experience.

We used it and became somewhat experts on their system.

Their systems were down one of the days so breakfast was a disaster.

The only dislike is the use of control system for light and curtains which didnt work as it supposed it should.

There was no temperature check either at the main entrance or at the secondary door linking with the shopping mall.

The minor part of the hotel experience which I did not enjoy was the temperature of the outside area of the 3rd floor.

With the hotel being attached to the Zorlu Center, it's definitely convenient for food and shopping as well.

Enjoy the facilities of the gym, breakfast is excellent and varied with excellent pastries, it is located in the Zorlu Center, which is a luxury shopping center with direct access to the metro.

The Zorlu Center is accessible from the Raffles' lobby and the center has tons of restaurants if one wants options.

It is attached to Zorlu Center, a big mall in Istanbul.

This was a perfect stay at Raffles Zorlu Center.

The Raffles is linked to the Zorlu Center, which is one of the best shopping malls in Istanbul.

Location: Can not be better at the Zorlu center here you can find everything you want from normal brand to high end fashion etc

Spa: The most luxurious spa I have ever seen.

Its a great hotel,the room was clean and comfortable and big,with a great location inside Zorlu center, close to many city tourist attractions.

The hotel is luxurious and in a great location with access to the luxurious zorlu center.

I visited Raffles Lobby while shopping at the Zorlu Center.

Bonus is the great location right on Zorlu Center one the most stylish malls in Istanbul with lots of dining choices.

There is no air conditioning in the corridors, so you feel a discomfort after you get out from the elevator or room.

although the air con in the bedroom was not quite up to the job.

The windows do a good job of shutting out the noise (although I was on the 7th floor so a bit higher up) and the aircon was good enough that I didn't need to open the window.

however the Air-conditioning in my room didn't work at all.

Hotel is located directly at busy inner-city motorway, hence the only way to sleep is to keep windows closed and hope for the air-conditioning to work.

The carpet in the hallways is soiled from use, and the air conditioning doesn't seem to extend into the corridors.

The A/C was set to heat as it was still winter

and at night you could feel the smell of smoke coming through the ventilation.

The ventilation system looks not perfect and you cannot open the windows for the noise outside.

Why no more stars:

- when the weather is nice, the rooms are too warm and for some reason (I suspect cost saving) they don't turn on the air conditioning system centrally so even when putting the thermostat in the room to 16, you still get warm air flowing out.

This makes the room very suffocating nd unpleasant to sleep.

but hotel rooms a bit stuffy (no air con this time of year and although window opens its really noisy outside).

This meant  that unless one cranks down the AC to an unnecessarily low temperature, one would sweat during the night.

although they claim there is a/ c they dont in this time of the year the have warming aur fan

The rooms are overheated and the central AC doesn't work effectively, impossibel to open a window as teh rooms are facing a 6 lane highway constantly filled.

The hotel is well placed for a business traveller involved with finance district meetings in Levent.

I had my business trip to Istanbul last month.And my stay in Avantgarde hotel was absolutely perfect.The hotel is in the middle of the business area.Very close to underground station abd city center.

Pros: the hotel is located close to the Levent metro station, close to shopping malls, have a small swimming pool and a spa for additional payment.

The excellent location of the hotel and easy access to various shopping centers, including Zorlu center, Kanyon, and Özdilek Park, as well as the proximity to the Gayrettepe metro station were some of the good points of this hotel.

The beds are comfy the location is great if you love shopping like me.

The location is in the heart of Besiktas.

- Location is great if you want to visit Bebek, Şişli, Beşiktaş, Taksim, Ortaköy, Levent and Most of the Towers and Skyscrapers of Istanbul.

We had a great time and we can only recommend this location.

I travel to Istanbul very frequently and after staying near Taksim area during my first couple of visits, I booked this hotel, and this has been an amazing choice as this is ideal Business Hotel, the Hotel is located in a good location near to the metro so that you can avoid Istanbul traffic and just hop on the metro for visiting major tourist attractions.

The location of this hotel is good, with walkway distance to Gayrettepe metro station.

I won’t be staying anywhere else in Istanbul in the future.

but the traffic is really bad in that area, transportation is not bad you could take a taxi, train or bus around the hotel, it is like 30-40 kilometer from Istanbul airport, i did pay like 150-160 lira for taxi from Istanbul airport to the hotel which is not bad.

In the few days I spent there, I couldn't rest, it was a lot of noise.

Lies at a 10 lane main street, front rooms therefore very noisy.

One of the main issues with the room was the noise that came from the street (friends in different rooms had the same experience).

However, since it is on one of İstanbul’s busiest boulevards, the rooms are a bit noisy; at least unless your room is located at the back side.

Although this did not bother myself, this is Istanbul, you are going to have traffic where ever you go.

Noisy neighbours: I had a very noisy group of neighbours talking, laughing and playing music very loudly.

although on the side on the hotel I found it noisy.

The only point i would make is that i had a room at the front overlooking the busy front street which does generate some noise.

The only disadvantage was the noise from the quite busy front street, therefore ask for a room in the back of a high floor.

Only problem I noticed is that rooms are too noisy.

One thing i would advise to do is try and ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the traffic at the front can be extremely noisy.

The only thing that needs improvement is that the windows are not soundproof, and it is a bit noisy.

to be improved: some rooms along the street could be less noisy.

but the noise entering the rooms is barely audible to interfere with your confort or sleep.

but did manage to get traffic noise during the day, particularly trucks; the noise died down at night.

I chose the noise and soon got used to it due to thick curtains.

Had food in the bar during  a short meeting and it was very tasty and was quickly served.

A  hotel is also in a nice neighborhood next to metro, many shopping centers and cafes.

Not clean, the house keeper was very dirty and smelly himself (!

On the first night the bath had a bad smell which was strong and start fading away by second day.

I arrived very late on the Monday night, around 11:30 pm and on opening the door to my room on the second floor the window was wide open and the room smelt of smoke.

Breakfast is the worst ever, half of the breads are stale,  especially croissants, and the cooked offering is very bad.

The lobby is basic, the room (no smoking) had ashtrays and smelt like a smokers public room.

- when checking back in after a weekend trip away they tried to fob me off with a smaller room, facing the very busy road, with an awful smoky smell. Unacceptable.

Movenpik is quieter and non smoking means just that.

However, I was not used to people smoking inside the hotel which meant that there was a constant smell of smoke everywhere.

old, stale bagels; cold scrambled eggs; misformed muffins; and 3 cereals (no choice of milk).

Changing to another floor didn't entirely remove this, so - don't go if you are sensitive to smell.

Very close to ZORLU center and transportation.

The Zorlu center is very close so this is a very hot spot, far from the crowded center.
