Using the hotel airport service (less than 5 kilometers), they charged us 1500 rupees.

Also they charged me for one imported beer pint which I did not consume.

Card damage deposits not being removed in a timely manner is not a concern for us.

but check in staff processed my credit card to pay in pounds sterling without asking me.

Charges for airport shuttle were also excessive - much easier and cheaper to get an Uber

Mohit Gupta was not helpful and instead of appeasing or understanding that this a weird and unexpected charge for guests coming from outside of India, he implied in an indifferent manner that the extra charge shouldn’t be a big deal for us and that this is how things are in India.

Then they issued an invoice for 12500.  .

but nobody will tell you this and when you order drinks, they will simply charge you for it which is disgusting

Staff are friendly enough, a few of them wait and linger for tips even if you do not feel like giving them a tip they just stand there.

No additional charges on water bottles and a smooth checkout process.

but at the check out the amount in invoice was shown not as property tax but as room service charge which I haven't used.

It was surprising even after paying business room charges especially during COVID times to get better hygiene the wall behind the bed got fungus.

Please don't accept international cards in the first place while trying to lure visitors, if you can't honour them when present.

Also, the agent was rude and insisted on charging my card, not just holding it for security.

however, I noticed they levied a service charge on the room rent apart from the regular government charges.

but don't believe on there tarrif card, they can charge anything.

The boardroom had poor lighting and no video conferencing facility.

Honestly, this apology came in after I called and shared about me being a corporate traveller and I would strike off their name from our list of preferred hotels to stay for my organisation due to this bad experience .Sadly, there was no gesture from the hotel or management to make up for the poor experience, which makes me wonder if I should stay with them again.

The service in the bar was extremly poor and slow.

this is a poor hotel in an undesirable neighbourhood.

The room had a very bad smell (no ventilation in bathroom) , the welcoming in the reception was very poor.

Odour was also bad and furniture in poor shape.

I had a wonderful stay in this property.The rooms and the facilities provided were truly world class which was further enhanced by excellent service delivery rendered by the entire staff, particularly Ms.Sharanya at the front desk.She remembered small details like my birthday and surprised me with a Birthday cake in my room.This is how a “Guest Delight”is rendered! !

The room was pretty cozy and services are second to none.

Service in the restaurant and reception was slow an unflexible.

One area of improvement could be, the check-in experience it was a bit slow.

The check in process was a bit slow as we had to wait almost half an hour

Both sinks in the room were slow draining and the bath tub also did not drain properly, maintenance had to fix this.

They serve decent hot kababs at the table, albeit at a very slow pace.

Food and utensils are still being put out, drink service is slow.

Staff were very slow and not very helpful

Although the restaurant and the service is a bit slow.

The service is pretty slow to respond to.

Later ordered off the menu which was very slow.

but the service at the All Day Dining restaurant was unacceptable, slow and inattentive.

We have stayed in Tui sensori hotels ( now Tui  Blue) and the contrast was marked
There is NO Wow factor for this hotel other than it's location ( great for fit people

It explores the Ionian Sea and you can stop off for a swim in the Blue Lagoon and shopping in nearby Syvota.

Stunning location, amazing staff, great food, beautiful beach, clear clean blue sea.

Best bet if you are ging all inclusive are the G&T and the La Grotta Verde Blue one (ask for Smirnoff instead of local vodka and they seem happy to oblige).

but tasty . Jumping off the boat into the Blue Lagoon was good fun too .We danced on the deck on the way back to some good tunes ( I do like a boogy ! )

The beach itself is lovely, great for swimming in the lovely clear blue sea & you can stroll down it to Agios Gordis which is about five minutes away for shops bars & restaurants.

This was such a fun day out where you stop off on a little beach and have a bbq and go to the blue lagoon where they stop for you all to jump in and enjoy the crystal blue sea.

The room was lovely looking straight out to over the blue med with the sound of the sea - beautiful.

From the beautiful clear blue sea to the modern newly designed room, everything was great.

The beach was great!clean warm sea!its turquoise blue!

(Alcholic cocktails) - Black Russian (My Personal favourite), Sea Breeze, Coconut Breeze, Gin Fizz, Blue Lagoon and another 5 or so on the menu.

All in all we did have a lovely holiday thanks to Dawn and all the staff

We booked our holiday with friends to jointly celebrate our 31st and their 30th wedding anniversarys through Tui, a week cruising on the Tui Marella Explorer around the Greek Islands with a further week at the hotel as a nice relaxer.

The staff at this hotel are absolutely brilliant and helped make the holiday so enjoyable.

The food like any all inclusive holiday gets boring so that’s what is aspected.

Great hotel for a get away from it all break, their is a great beach for snorkelling, swimming, tanning and you can hire a pedalo or a boat.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone at Mayor La Grotta Verde for an amazing holiday and birthday, you could not have done more to ensure we had the most memorable of times.

All in all a great relaxing holiday and we spent last day planning our return next year hopefully.

The highlight of our holiday was the pool bar at the upper pool.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday and I'm already itching to go back!

We arrived at the Mayor La Grotta Verde after week holiday on TUI’s Marella Explorer.

The food was delicious and I take my hats off to the waiters, waitress, chefs and everyone who works in the catering side of things in the hotel you made my holiday I love food!!

Incredible setting and must be one of the best holiday dining and after meal drink views anywhere.

Starting on a positive we had a lovely holiday as it is what you make of it.

The quality of our holiday was also enhanced by the wonderful service provided to us throughout our stay by the Doukas Dawn, the Guest Relations Manager.

We paid a lot for this holiday and did not get good value for money at this hotel.

but about 10 minutes walk from main hotel steep climb back to  bungalow ,beautiful beach and nice flat walk too small village along beach a lot steps down too beach free sun bed on beach beware if you stay in bungalow take plenty of mosque repleant and  bite spray my husband and I got loads of bites I think this is because of all the trees and shrubs around bungalow

Lovely hotel set into the hills of corfu with amazing views, from your hotel room you can look out to the ocean, beach front experiences immediately outside of the amazing Agios Gordios, amazing helpful staff and small local village with all amenities required.

Also all of the staff in Ocean view were attentive.

but there is an additional three wonderful restaurants- Greek (Areti), French (Ocean View) and Italian (Perla) to dine at.

As every room is ocean facing imagine our surprise on pulling the curtains back we were lookibgcag the sea through a restaurant!

We experienced some great interaction with particular members of staff this year and we would like to give them a mention as a way of recognising their commitment to making your stay memorable:
Thomas, Antonia, Victor, Ionna and Sarah(bar team) Svetlana (Ocean View); Irena from reception who provides local knowledge for walking; Dawn the guest relation manager who goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is memorable and of course Anastasia dining coordinator and our Greek tutor.
