 - but then you come back to this amazing building and hear NOTHING!
 - Our delux room (108) was on the first floor on the corner of the building with no view.
 - Lower floor rooms are right across from office/craft workshop buildings which means you need to keep the curtains closed unless you want people looking directly in your window.
 - The only uninspiring thing about the room was the view - our window was close to the wall of the neighbouring building so not much to see (but I’m other rooms have better views).

 - but the rooms are filthy and gross and I feel the reviews are not genuine (moreover most people reviewing only have one review on their profile which happens to be for this place) Dont believe my word for it, just see the pictures!
 - We also found an empty disinfectant bittle that was probably left by the previous occupants, in the bedside table draw.
 - Second, the room was dirty and disgusting.
 - there was a floor drain where i assume the sink drained to.
 - The only downside to this hotel was that the bathroom smelt of sewage so I think maybe there was a plumbing issue.

 - All the team - from the bellhops/doormen, restaurant, room service and housekeeping were responsive and warm, This is what serivice is about - people who have thier own personality and style and not some trained cookie cutter version of marriott-syle.
 - Room service was very fast and a good menu.
 - Highly recommend over other high end hotels in Istanbul - especially due to the location and staff who were so helpful from exposing us to the best restaurants to even minute details such as a pharmacy run.
 - The location of this hotel is an added treat - it's in the most central area, with easy access to all the places you'll want to see + the best eateries and cafes.

 - Bedroom is next to the engine of the elevator wich makes loud noises.
 - But its tiny lifts and spiral staircases are just one love 😍 One side of the hotel faces the narrow street, it’s is not a beautiful view, if it’s important for you, the another one has a view on the city.
 - Avoid a room near the elevator because sound reverberates due to mostly marble hallways.
 - They are incredibly inviting and won't let you lift a finger, taking your bags the second they see you approaching the hotel and whisking you inside to offer a cold drink as you check in.
 - The elevator was old-style and small.

 - The room I had was rather small and tight, overlooks a back street, the lighting is a bit dark and the colour scheme was a bit off, the bathroom was decent, marbles with heavy veins, toiletries are all available.
 - As it was formerly a bank, the rooms were a little small
 - We ordered 2 classic rooms and the rooms we got were tiny.
