It was easy to book the room on its website at very economical rates.

Hagia Sofya is literally 3-4 minutes away form the hotel door and on the way there you will pass the Basilica Cistern.

Walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Basilica Cistern.

This hotel is very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and tram station if you want to go to Taksim Square, Galata Tower.

Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, markets, ferries, restaurants  all within easy walking distance so it was a great location for our first visit.

Wonderful staff; great location close to the top attractions, the tram line, and nearby restaurants; impeccably clean and comfortable room (we loved the rose petal touch); and a very nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the top of the Haggia Sofia.

The food was delicious, the place was super clean, and the owner was a true host that made me feel he cared about me and my safety.

We were within short walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Market, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofya, the Blue Mosque, the Roman Cistern and a sea of Restaurants and shops.

A special shout-out  to Mert from the front desk, who gave us excellent recommendations where to eat and what to see during our time in Istanbul.

Steps away from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque with numerous cute restaurants everywhere you look.

In the evening, tea with oriental sweets was specially organized for us upstairs in the restaurant.

First day included hot items: chicken nuggets, onion rings, french fries and a bean-hotdog-tomato sauce thing.

but they packed food for us to carry to the airport, and helped us get a taxi.

Also the location it’s just right in downtown close to many restaurants, Mezquitas and metro.

They have the correct motto feel at home, from the first moment we enter the hotel we were greeted ike family members, the staff could not have been any better, the rooms were super clean the food fabulous and the location right in the center of everything.

The rooftop restaurant was extremely pleasant for our breakfasts.

The breakfast on the roof was very tasty.

The owner was on site every day and made great recommendations on restaurants, spas and restaurants.

A lot of great food and drink options and the people were very friendly.

The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

although the bathroom was a little too small.

On the down side the rooms were a bit small

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The rooms are small (think London) and the hotel has no other amenities like a pool or fitness center etc.

though the room was on the small side; albeit within minutes of the hagia sofia and blue mosque.

The hotel is small and I think just has 14 rooms.

If you want something different from the Hilton/Hyatt experience give the White House a try.

All in all, this is by far the best hotel to stay in Istanbul, especially if you have a time crunch since this hotel is walking distance from all major landmarks and they have the best hospitality!

The terrace view of the Hagia Sophia was an amazing sight to take in.

Very  nice breakfast every morning on the top of the hotel terrace that over looked Istanbul.

The views from the terrace alone over Istanbul is worth the stay.

The location of the hotel is just perfect - next to Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Blue Mosque, Egyptian Obelisk.

Short walk just 2 minutes to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapi Palace.

A few more minutes to Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is located in the very center, it is difficult to think of a better location relative to the main attractions (walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more).

negative: the walls are too thin so you can here people next to you and it makes noisy, the price is a little high for what it is.

Tourist attractions ; What we did not expect was that it has a historic abandoned hamam in front, Old Hagia Sofia (read about it :) ) and Old city walls in 1 mins walk.

Only downside is the thin walls and street noise

Walls are fairly thin as you can hear your neighbors,

Walls are extremely thin and you can easily hear a conversation next door or even the tv.

We stayed in this hotel for a few days and it was great,spacious rooms,centrally located,good service and breakfast,close to topkapi palace,haghia sofia,blue mosque,basilica cistern,grand bazaar and Bosporus.

The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazar, Spice Bazar and Eminonu ferry port are either a 10 - 20 minute walk away or very quick journey on the same T1 tram line, depending on direction of travel on that line.

The location is great; a ten minute stroll to Gulhane park, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, the Grand Bazaar, and the waterfront.

Other attractions such as Basilica Cistern are also amazing and the people of Istanbul very kind.

The room was comfortable, room service was amazing and the location is superb as the hotel is in the thick of most historic sites and shopping arras of IST.

The main historical sites can be accessed by foot as the hotel is very close to the Blue Mosque , Hippodrome and Hagia Sofia.

Perfect location in the middle of the historic centre, with extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms and great breakfast.

but really this wasn't my fault so he shouldn't have been unhappy with me.

but mixed weather meant limited use - not the hotel’s fault I know.

The only small criticism, which is not the fault of the hotel, is that it can be a little noisy at night due to the local bars and the tramway that goes right past the front door.

I had a cold for the first two days (I blame my sister lol) and they made sure I had plenty of mint tea to soothe my throat, without me having to ask they offered.


It is difficult to find fault with this stay!

When we had a minor lighting issue in our room, they went above and beyond to fix it.

Nonetheless, after a bit of a delay, we were on our way and the hotel worked to fix the problem as soon as they were aware of it.

Decoration: All the fittings and fixtures of the hotel have been custom-made to give a definite sense of traditional style, with an emphasis on ornate, period gilded-wood furniture, heavy drapes, floral wallpaper and velvet or satin upholstery, chandeliers and glass pendant lighting fittings and wrought-iron work.

The bathroom was separated by glass walls with curtains on the inside, which, when pulled open, created an even more airy and open space.

It had a tiny ante, a small balcony and a glass walled bathroom.

The bathroom it a bit odd in that it has glass walls with curtains.

The glass walls also mean there is just one hook right next to the shower to hang towels and robes, which can maybe hold one, two with difficulty.

The bathroom is a bit strange, a room within a room, a glass box with curtains.

The toilets were very clean and the only problem i had with it was that it had glass walls backed with almost transparent curtains.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff Zumre guest relations was extremely helpful.

Guest relations Zumre checked up on us to make sure we had what we needed during the stay.

Zumre is always ready to help with whatever you need and My highlight of everyday is to see BURAK at the restaurant.

The breakfast offered everything we could possibly want, both open buffet and a la carte menu and the food was delicious.

They offer coffee and tea time in the afternoon with delicious desserts.

Turkish hospitality is thé first thing you feel in this hotel,all thé small details has been thought,coffee machine in thé rooms and there is a cute spa centre bit make sure you make reservation in advanced,thé service is very good,thank you zumre

we like all the staff who work there,all very kind,the room is big and very comfortable,the bathroom is spacious,swimming pool ,hammam and spa is avaiable,special thanks to ramazan and zumre,they were very kind

We stayed in this hotel for a week,everything was great,service is amazing,room was spacious and tastefullydecorated,there is spa centre

The Spa and pool are great and spa staff also helpful and friendly as too are the staff on reception.

The spa facilities are really impressive.

I also had my first Hammam experience at the Hotel- Gamze was really helpful with this and went out of her way to accommodate a suitable timing for us.
