 - Nice and very clean room.
 - Rooms' design is about cosiness.

 - "Garden" turned out to be a poky little dark area outside window.
 - The windows didn't open more than 2 inches so we were never able to get rid of the smell.
 - however with the windows closed it did not disturb us.
 - No window.

 - thanks hotel staff for positive ambience, quality service, clean room, nice arranged, international breakfast.
 -
 - The hotel is a small, cozy, clean, warm and humble.
 - The room itself is very neat and clean, beautifully color coordinated and the bowl of shampoos and body washes is a treat for the eyes.

 - Location is great, is in the center of the old town, is short distance to the blue mosque, grand bazaar, the ferry terminal, and public transportation.
 - Especially the location is very very closed to blue mosque, Sofia church and palace, also we walked to the bridge and grand bazaar.
 - Easy walk to the Grand Bazaar, Spice Market and Galata Bridge.
 - It is right on the tramline that goes to the Grand Bazaar in one direction and the ferries and Beyoglu in the other.
 - You can go grand bazaar by walking.

 - The Minel Hotel is near these landmarks: Kucuk Ayasofya - Gazi Suleyman Pasa Mosque, Eurosa Travel, Keyfi Alem Playstation Cafe, Hayal İstanbul Maltepe, Chiesa di Sant'Andrea Apostolo e Santa Sofia Vedova, Covered Bazaar, Sultan II.
 - It is right next to the Antic restaurant which is full of locals, always a good sign.
 - but tasty, as are most of the continental breakfasts in the area.
 - A wonderful location next to very friendly restaurants.
 - surrounded with bazaars and big variety of restaurants.

 - Taxis cannot get to the front, still need to go down the stairs, not the most convenience if you are traveling with luggage.
 - The only negative and this a BIG one in my book is that you should never under any circumstance book a taxi through the hotel.
 - When a manager in the hotel called a taxi for me, I repeatedly confirmed with him that a taxi was one with a meter.
 - Also, be wary of the crazy taxi drivers and the huge tourist buses that like to block traffic.
 - Yes, the rooms are beyond tiny, yes the stairway is winding, slippery and treacherous, yes, it is off the beaten track and hard for a taxi to find.

 - This is a poorly run hotel located in a great area .
 - Location is great, is in the center of the old town, is short distance to the blue mosque, grand bazaar, the ferry terminal, and public transportation.
 - The location is great. The personnel was great. For every question, they have answer, specially Musa and other man.
 - The location is ideal (close to the tram and the big sights)
 - I could see a minarette of the Hagia Sophia from my window and I was close to the metro so perfect location.

 - Our room at the second floor had an AC, fridge and tv, there were no noice from neighbors.
 - There are only 2-3 rooms per floor, so a tiny hotel.
 - but maybe this can be avoided if the room is in 2nd or 3rd floor.
 - It is important to note that if you have been allocated a top floor room as we and our friends had, that it is a real considerable climb up the stairs and not for the unfit.
 - The hotel is located up a small alley off the main tram route, our room was on the first floor so only had to negotiate one set of stairs with our bags.

 - You can acces so many places with tramva and metro, just buy "an istanbul card" Here is a picture of Fouad the manager.
 - I just hope they don't start charging 5-star prices!
 - Only one detail: even if they accept credit cards, the hotel prefers that guests pay in cash (that has happened everywhere in our journey through the Middle East, so take it into account if you plan to travel using only plastic).
 - but we didn't have Euros since we planned to pay with the credit card.
 - We arrived early from the cruise port (Taxi charged us 15 Euros) and our room was not yet ready as it was only 10:00am and normal check in was in the afternoon.

 - The hotel is well placed because you can walk in 35 mins to the grand bazaar, blue mosque and topkapi palace on one side.
 - The hotel is located near the marina, the Museum of Modern Art and is next to a useful tram line which can take you to the Grand Bazaar and around the city.
 - From the Sub hotel you are able to walk (if you like walking) to the Main tourist areas of: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, to name a few.

 - I am staying on 5th floor and never noticed any noise except for tonight due to a private party.
 - Some youth outside was flying a drone which hit our window and fell down.
 - When we check the comment once to come here people wrote Having so much noise
 - You can hear the bathroom door & flush from the other costumers.
 - The lighting in the room is not great, the fridge did not work and was leaking onto the floor, the shower door was not sealed at the bottom and 2 of my 5 showers water leaked out, and there were a couple of ants on the floor.

 - The other nights of the week had no noise issues.
 - Maybe if I could talk to them about my noise concerns & find out which are the quietest rooms (we were on the first floor - maybe higher is better?).
 - The main problem was noisy neighborhood that the staff remind it was because of a traffic problem of Taqsim Sq.
