The room was clean and cozy and i also appreciated the fact that the hotel was not too much big since you breathed a familiar atmosphere.

The room itself was also decorated with rose petals, tea lights, and balloons.

We slept so quietly and comfortably on the cozy beds that we wondered what brand of mattress they use.

It was exceptional for a peaceful atmosphere.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Istanbul.First of all the location is excellent if you want to see the most important touristic environment.

The hotel has a beautiful breakfast terrace overlooking the Bosphorus, there are cozy places where you can sit quietly and drink tea or coffee - The breakfasts are very tasty and varied.

In addition the location was the best hagia sophia and blue mosque, great bazaar and species and atmosphere of the area.

It was spacious and decorated like honeymoon.

The rooms are very comfortable, clean and cozy.

Then we went to our room which amazed us again with its decorations, rose pedals on the bed and a handwritten letter by the owner.

From the first email reply and all coordination, transfer recommendations, welcome drink, handwritten welcome / thanking letter, the flowers and room decorating, evening chocolate and strawberries plateau surprise, excellent breakfast with great panoramic view, afternoon tea and sweet treat at the terrace, immediate response to our needs!!

They have wonderful details that you don't find in other hotels, They decorated our room as a surprise among other unexpected and beautiful details.

Our bedroom was decorated for a Valentines Welcome.

The whole hotel and the rooms are tastefully designed and spotless.

We always walked to get around the city except Dolmabahce Palace.

The White House was perfect as we walked to many of the attractions and when we visited the Grand Bazaar,  the Dolmabahce Palace and Spice Market the light rail/tram is virtually at the end of the street.

This lovely hotel is ideally located just a few minutes away from the key attractions of Istanbul (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace etc).

We were within short walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Market, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofya, the Blue Mosque, the Roman Cistern and a sea of Restaurants and shops.

It was spacious and decorated as a chamber in a palace.

The room is very comfortable and the roof top has such a beautiful view of the Mosque.

Wonderful staff; great location close to the top attractions, the tram line, and nearby restaurants; impeccably clean and comfortable room (we loved the rose petal touch); and a very nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the top of the Haggia Sofia.

Our room was beautiful and well laid out.

Nice size and well kept room and amenities.

The hotel room itself was comfortable and clean.

The rooms are clean and you can get to many attractions without using a car.

The breakfast room is on the roof with a lovely view to mosk and Bosfor.

Amazing location (2 minutes away from every place you must go in Istanbul), super nice, kind and helpful staff, very clean rooms and common areas, nice typical breakfast.

The room was well equipped and clean, I must say the location is perfect!

The breakfast room is on the roof with a lovely view of Istanbul and the water.

The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

although the bathroom was a little too small.

On the down side the rooms were a bit small

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The rooms are small (think London) and the hotel has no other amenities like a pool or fitness center etc.

though the room was on the small side; albeit within minutes of the hagia sofia and blue mosque.

From day one the Service and Staff have been Excellent.

The staff are super friendly, helpful, and kind.

I found a very qualified and cordial staff.

But the main strength of this hotel lies in its people: we felt very warmly welcomed and taken care of thanks to Mert, Halli and Rahman!

Magnificent hotel with a magical location to visit everything, we loved all the staff so responsive to all our requests, they made all the reservations for the restaurants and the entrances to the various tourist activities, exceptional breakfast, we recommend this magnificent hotel

I say that because the hotel was wonderful, especially the staff, who bent over backwards to make sure everything that we needed was done.

The food was delicious, the place was super clean, and the owner was a true host that made me feel he cared about me and my safety.

They were polite and helpful, especially with the stroller, answering our questions, organizing the cruise and pick up from and to the airport.

The hotel staff go above and beyond for their guests and make them feel like family.

Special mentions to Mr Mert  for his lovely welcome (Turkish delight and fizz) and helpful advice.

The terrace view of the Hagia Sophia was an amazing sight to take in.

Very  nice breakfast every morning on the top of the hotel terrace that over looked Istanbul.

They are located in the center of the old city and Topkapi Palace and Sultan Ahmet, St. Sophia are very very close to the hotel, so you can walk around.

The location of the hotel is just perfect - next to Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Blue Mosque, Egyptian Obelisk.

Short walk just 2 minutes to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapi Palace.

A few meters from the, Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace.

A few more minutes to Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is located in the very center, it is difficult to think of a better location relative to the main attractions (walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more).

negative: the walls are too thin so you can here people next to you and it makes noisy, the price is a little high for what it is.

Tourist attractions ; What we did not expect was that it has a historic abandoned hamam in front, Old Hagia Sofia (read about it :) ) and Old city walls in 1 mins walk.

Only downside is the thin walls and street noise

The room was comfortable, room service was amazing and the location is superb as the hotel is in the thick of most historic sites and shopping arras of IST.

The main historical sites can be accessed by foot as the hotel is very close to the Blue Mosque , Hippodrome and Hagia Sofia.

Lovely ottoman style room,on the 5th floor the artwork opposite to the lift is Dolmabahce palace which was the first place we visited on the first day,that was uncanny.

half an hour away from taksim and dolmabahce palace,great spot to explore whole city.

Location couldn't be better, in beautiful Suntanahmet area five minutes walk to Topkapii Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and as it is on the tram line (the rumbling sound of which reminded us our hometown of Melbourne) it is also convenient for visiting Dolmabahce palace, Galata bridge etc.The hotel loans you a tram card that you can add funds to to assist this,

The hotel has been newly renovated in a romantic, highly decorative traditional style.

but really this wasn't my fault so he shouldn't have been unhappy with me.

but mixed weather meant limited use - not the hotel’s fault I know.

The only small criticism, which is not the fault of the hotel, is that it can be a little noisy at night due to the local bars and the tramway that goes right past the front door.

I had a cold for the first two days (I blame my sister lol) and they made sure I had plenty of mint tea to soothe my throat, without me having to ask they offered.


It is difficult to find fault with this stay!

When we had a minor lighting issue in our room, they went above and beyond to fix it.

Nonetheless, after a bit of a delay, we were on our way and the hotel worked to fix the problem as soon as they were aware of it.

Decoration: All the fittings and fixtures of the hotel have been custom-made to give a definite sense of traditional style, with an emphasis on ornate, period gilded-wood furniture, heavy drapes, floral wallpaper and velvet or satin upholstery, chandeliers and glass pendant lighting fittings and wrought-iron work.

The bathroom was separated by glass walls with curtains on the inside, which, when pulled open, created an even more airy and open space.

It had a tiny ante, a small balcony and a glass walled bathroom.

The bathroom it a bit odd in that it has glass walls with curtains.

The glass walls also mean there is just one hook right next to the shower to hang towels and robes, which can maybe hold one, two with difficulty.

The bathroom is a bit strange, a room within a room, a glass box with curtains.

The toilets were very clean and the only problem i had with it was that it had glass walls backed with almost transparent curtains.

Location is also perfect for visiting attractions the tram is like minute away from the hotel and also Topkapi palace is 5min walk from the hotel.

Can't beat location, close to Topkapi Palace and walking distance of Galata bridge and Hagia Sophia.

The hotel is walking distance from all the major sights we wanted to see (Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazaar etc).

I liked the style of this hotel , one of the best properties around, the room are very clean and very close to the palace and Blue Mosque and Grand Bazar the cooperative staff.

Location was excellent, easy walk to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, spice bazaar and Topkapi Palace.

We were here during oué birthday,comfortable room,near to tram,topkapi palace,haghia sophia,grand bazaar,spicy baazar,Blue mosquée,service is good,Thérè is a swimming pool and hammam and breakfast is wonderful,its a real five star hotel

It’s located right in the heart of old town,gulhane tram station is a minute away,topkapi palace,haghia sophia blue mosque,spice bazaar,grand bazaar are all walking distance ,would recommend it to all.
