Wonderful staff; great location close to the top attractions, the tram line, and nearby restaurants; impeccably clean and comfortable room (we loved the rose petal touch); and a very nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the top of the Haggia Sofia.

The room was clean and cozy and i also appreciated the fact that the hotel was not too much big since you breathed a familiar atmosphere.

The White House was perfect as we walked to many of the attractions and when we visited the Grand Bazaar,  the Dolmabahce Palace and Spice Market the light rail/tram is virtually at the end of the street.

It was spacious and decorated as a chamber in a palace.

The room is very comfortable and the roof top has such a beautiful view of the Mosque.

The bathroom is also small, and the shower is enclosed in a small circular area like if you look a cruise ship voyage and had those showers.

A previous review mentioned the shower was too small - this person must’ve been the size of a small elephant as I am 6foot and quite hefty yet the shower was perfect.

However,single rooms are a little tight on space planning.The toilets are very small !

but we were disappointed to see that the room is hyper small, bathroom is also small and bed is double.

although the bathroom was a little too small.

On the down side the rooms were a bit small

Namely non-sound-proof walls, a small room with no view, occasional sewer smells, lack of storage space, and unsatisfactory breakfast selection (which, to be fair, is to be expected at a smaller hotel).

The room we had for 6 nights was small, (standard double) that we booked on Expedia.

The only draw back is the rooms are somewhat small (which is ok) and have little to no storage space (this is the biggest challenge- no counter space to store your belongings between days).

The terrace view of the Hagia Sophia was an amazing sight to take in.

They are located in the center of the old city and Topkapi Palace and Sultan Ahmet, St. Sophia are very very close to the hotel, so you can walk around.

The location of the hotel is just perfect - next to Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Blue Mosque, Egyptian Obelisk.

Short walk just 2 minutes to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapi Palace.

A few meters from the, Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace.

A few more minutes to Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is located in the very center, it is difficult to think of a better location relative to the main attractions (walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more).

negative: the walls are too thin so you can here people next to you and it makes noisy, the price is a little high for what it is.

Tourist attractions ; What we did not expect was that it has a historic abandoned hamam in front, Old Hagia Sofia (read about it :) ) and Old city walls in 1 mins walk.

Only downside is the thin walls and street noise

The room was comfortable, room service was amazing and the location is superb as the hotel is in the thick of most historic sites and shopping arras of IST.

Lovely ottoman style room,on the 5th floor the artwork opposite to the lift is Dolmabahce palace which was the first place we visited on the first day,that was uncanny.

Location couldn't be better, in beautiful Suntanahmet area five minutes walk to Topkapii Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and as it is on the tram line (the rumbling sound of which reminded us our hometown of Melbourne) it is also convenient for visiting Dolmabahce palace, Galata bridge etc.The hotel loans you a tram card that you can add funds to to assist this,

The hotel has been newly renovated in a romantic, highly decorative traditional style.

but really this wasn't my fault so he shouldn't have been unhappy with me.

but mixed weather meant limited use - not the hotel’s fault I know.

The only small criticism, which is not the fault of the hotel, is that it can be a little noisy at night due to the local bars and the tramway that goes right past the front door.

I had a cold for the first two days (I blame my sister lol) and they made sure I had plenty of mint tea to soothe my throat, without me having to ask they offered.


It is difficult to find fault with this stay!

When we had a minor lighting issue in our room, they went above and beyond to fix it.

Nonetheless, after a bit of a delay, we were on our way and the hotel worked to fix the problem as soon as they were aware of it.

Decoration: All the fittings and fixtures of the hotel have been custom-made to give a definite sense of traditional style, with an emphasis on ornate, period gilded-wood furniture, heavy drapes, floral wallpaper and velvet or satin upholstery, chandeliers and glass pendant lighting fittings and wrought-iron work.

The bathroom was separated by glass walls with curtains on the inside, which, when pulled open, created an even more airy and open space.

It had a tiny ante, a small balcony and a glass walled bathroom.

The bathroom it a bit odd in that it has glass walls with curtains.

The glass walls also mean there is just one hook right next to the shower to hang towels and robes, which can maybe hold one, two with difficulty.

The bathroom is a bit strange, a room within a room, a glass box with curtains.

The toilets were very clean and the only problem i had with it was that it had glass walls backed with almost transparent curtains.

Location is also perfect for visiting attractions the tram is like minute away from the hotel and also Topkapi palace is 5min walk from the hotel.

It’s located right in the heart of old town,gulhane tram station is a minute away,topkapi palace,haghia sophia blue mosque,spice bazaar,grand bazaar are all walking distance ,would recommend it to all.

Best hotel,service is good,enjoyed our stay,the room is clean,the room service is great,ottoman style rooms,near to tram,good location,old town is near by,blue mosque,topkapi palace,haghia sophia mosque,restaurants around the hotel is very good.

Turkish hospitality amazing,kind ans welcoming people,breakfast is fullfilling,many different variety is avaiable,tram stop is a minute away from the hotel,topkapi palace,haghia sophia,grand bazaar,blue mosque are very near by.

Its great city and great vibe,many thibgs to see,so many attractions to choose from,topkapi palace,hahgia sophia,blue mosque,spice bazaar,grand bazaar,bosohorus,galata tower,galata bridge are all close,great rooms and service.

Old monuments such as topkapi palace,haghia sophia,blue mosque,grand bazaar are all walking distance,it is in thé middle of old town and bosphorus,kind very helpful staff,we had great time in hammam and sauna,bear in mind you should make a reservation beforehand.

We stay in this hotel for a short break,it’s located in the historical site of istanbul,very near to old town ,topkapi palace,haghia sophia,blue mosque,spice bazaar,grand bazaar,bosphorus bridge,really liked the place.
