The food was delicious and our room had a great view of the slopes.

We were staying on a dinner bed and breakfast basis, and the food was outstanding.

The service was excellent and breakfast and diner were outstanding.

however was breakfast and dinner: lots of taste, good choices, good service and dinner was superbly served on the plates.

They go the extra mile and I have to say the breakfasts and dinners in the evening are some of the best I have had.

We booked half board and found the standard of food delicious and impressive.

All the food good really impressive and a massive breakfast selection.

A standard day for us mad keen snowboarders started the day with a fabulous breakfast and then within 100 meters from the hotels front door we were on the gondola to the slopes.

but we ordered bed and breakfast (breakfast is really excellent!).

The food served in the Restaurant was fantastic and our waiter Sebastian did a great job for both breakfast and dinner.

This is a beautiful hotel set out very well, clean tidy and well maintained, food at dinner was to die for great choice at breakfast, my only problem is allowing people to smoke on the balcony’s and the roof top swimming pool and jacuzzi, it was not very pleasant.

we had an amazing time with our dog, he was very welcome in the hotel en they even prepared his meals (considering his special diet)

The food and the setup of breakfast and dinner is amazing.

Breakfast & dinner were a delight, the food was simply outstanding and every evening in particular 5 course 5 star experience.

The breakfasts at the hotel were outstanding, with lots of choice. I particularly liked the juicing machine and the amazing tasting berries and my son loved the bacon and eggs cooked by Franz (?)

Food, especially breakfast, was delicious with many choices every day.

I thought the evening food was some of the best I have eaten and found the breakfast to be excellent with fresh berries and some other nice thoughtful touches, including fresh juice maker.

We ate lunch at restaurants in town and on the slope and were not charged for tap water.

Particularly annoying was being charged 4 euros for a carafe of tap water at dinner time.

On check-out our bill was charged in £'s rather than euros so we suffered from the hotel's poor exchange rate - no option having been given.

There is a convenient and secure ski room for all your equipment, entry is by room key only and a second card reader opens your own designated locker (sorted by room number).

but was no problem, and had a funky card system to open the locker.

- Only that parking and getting the skiing pass was charged separately is kind of strange in a hotel at this level.

There is a good balance among the customers (not too many children).No hotel specific events.

Whilst on the subject of the restaurant – the tap water is free (not charged for as indicated in some earlier reviews).

We left a small bag behind which they sent on without any charge, a small example of the courtesy they offer.

Do wish they wouldn't charge for tap water, as the drinks prices are enough that this should come free.

Tap Water Charge - this has been mentioned by other reviewers so we asked about this.

Hotel has the best position in the town just only 50m by walk to ski lifts on each side.

Firstly, it’s location is perfect, being at the foot of the main gondola lift and also next to the Fimba lift.

This is a great hotel on a fantastic ski location.

There is a pride in every member off the team, The location cant  be bettered by any other hotel.

The location of the hotel is in front of the gondola.

Everything from the service to the fabulous food to the location was outstanding.

There are better locations available in Ischgl!

Each week the town has a Ski Show literally on the slope outride the hotel, what a perfect location.

When looking for a hotel that has a great location this has it all ,the view from the hotels balcony looks directly onto the slopes.

Great location, great rooms, great spa etc  which you all can find out prior to booking via different ways (website).

Would go back at the drop of a hat, hotel ideally located near the slope at FIMBA lift, you will not be disappointed.

Its location couldn't be more perfect - a few steps from two of the major gondolas that whizz you up the mountain in about 10-15 minutes.

Fliana is very modern nice comfortable hotel with wonderful location just under slope 50 m from cabines.Our room was very nice, large, clean,sunny,with very pleasant view on ski slope.Staff was very friendly.Kitchen was extremly delicious-chef quite young,but very skillful.Indoor swimming pool with saunas were very clean and peaceful.Outdoor whirpool is perfect end of a day.This hotel I can recommend to everybody and I hope that we visit it again very soon.

Finally I asked a local waitress at a restaurant - Fire and Ice- and she was aghast that we were charged, especially given the cost of our stay.

We got a refund of €15 per person per day, not even the price of a starter.

Maybe because of the high prices charged everywhere in Ischgl (and Austria).

We also found the cost of the wine extortionate - over 50 euros for the cheapest bottle seems crazy.

The only slight criticism to give is that the drinks are very expensive!

But, it's a quite pricey hotel we are talking about, so operational fitness in this type of venue is not an option anymore.

You could go up to bottles priced in the thousands if thats your thing.

The only thing was that the prices were a bit steep!

But as a result it is significantly overpriced.

Unfortunately the wine list was to high priced.

but management should reflect on the drinks pricing.

although my husband did) although the beauty treatments seemed a little expensive.

even though we paid the same rate as everyone else.

There is major building work planned for this summer to upgrade the front area and older rooms so I would expect prices next year to increase to reflect this.

All stuff, service, meal, spa, outdoor pool on the roof with the personal service  > we can't say any wrong wolds.

Great Location, Great Restaurant and Bar and most of all a really nice team.

Room a are big and comfortable, SPA and wellness were great,  service and food are very good.

They kept blaming the prior occupant who they claim was a Russian who liked to eat fish in his room.

First day we took dinner in the gourmet restaurant.

We went each day after dinner for a drink.

Good WiFi, tasty food and dinner, reasonably attentive staff and a nice welcome gala evening.

The restaurant deserves a Michelin star ! We will go back :)

We are a family of four and had booked one of the family rooms (room 204).

Our family room was very comfortable and we slept very well.

The decor, ambience and facilities are fantastic and our room was large and very comfortable.

Our fisrt impression of the hotel was modern and trendy and that was the baseline for the room as well.

A concern for us with a front room was whether we would get any sleep with the bars below

Our nights were capped off with a gourmet dinner before enjoying our relaxing and extremely comfortable rooms!

We already booked our family room for next year and look forward to go back to Ischgl and hotel Fliana, family and staff.

We've just returned from an amazing week's skiing in Ischgl and had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Fliana.

The Fliana  Hotel, the staff, the location and the skiing were all anyone could wish for on a skiing holiday.

And to cap it all, on the roof, is a large hot tub where you can wallow and plan your next day's skiing.

Oh hot tub in the snow was welcome after a long days skiing.

Dinner was very good albeit as others have said I'd prefer a 3 course option as 5 course dinners every evening (if half board) whilst skiing can be just too much.

We've been coming 4 or 5 years now for the skiing, it's about 100 meters away from 2 lifts.

Ischgl is our preferred place to stay for skiing, easy to access with not too much mountain driving.

The hotel is one of the most conviently located for skiing (exactly at the arrival of the slopes and of the departure of the two main lifts), apres-ski and center of the village with the Dorftunnel.

but we got changed after skiing first and dressed up warm.

After a long day of skiing, what more could you ask for than a beautiful spa with more than 5 choices of sauna/steam rooms to choose from?

Fortunately I managed to get in a good half day's skiing and afterwards decided to visit the spa to relax.

The spa is lovely and a welcome break after a long day skiing.

Most importantly, Hotel Fliana was the perfect base for our skiing adventures.

Toilets, clean modern and excellent powerful shower to help smooth out them aches after a day's skiing.

You always looked forward to get the dinner in the end of good skiing day.

Stayed for a weeks skiing .Comfortable hotel , friendly staff, good food ( many courses, small portions )  , good resort with excellent lift system . Plenty of après ski activity nearby ( ie lively atmosphere)

The spa area is really lovely and the outdoor pool and whirlpool is definitely worth a mention.

Rooms very well appointed and very modern throughout, spa apparently good according to my wife and daughter.

On the two days we didn’t go out snowboarding, a rest day and a snowed-in day, we enjoyed the hotel's facilities having spa days, eating and relaxing!

I enjoyed a facial by Olga, who was wonderful.

Nice indoor pool (bring swimming goggles if you plan to swim longer distances), large sauna and steam bath department downstairs, an outdoor jacuzzi on the rooftop with views to the pistes.

We enjoyed the main spa area which had several different saunas/steam rooms and we found it a good way to unwind.

The spa and swimming pool were a really lovely bonus and the rooftop hot tub was a real treat and a must do.

An excellent spa with an outdoor jacuzzi offers an amazing experience.

Great reception, attentive restaurant service, very fine spa with experienced masseuse.

Food is superb, wine list is extensive, SPA area is delightful!

The common areas (restaurant, bar, spa) were also very elegant, well-cared after and cozy.

We had two great spa treatments during our stay.

I had the best massage I have ever had in their modern and well equipt spa.

Hotel very clean and the whole team at Hotel Fliana very helpful.

The waiting staff, especially Dominic, were very attentive.

The team at the hotel take great care of every last detail.

A good hotel with very nice staff en they take care for a good cleaning of the hotel.

It’s a ten minute walk to the town square to get the ski bus up the valley to Galtur or down the valley to Ischgl and Kapell.

Fellow skiers made use of storage facilities a few minutes walk away in the village centre from where a regular bus service operated to the Galtur and Ischgl ski areas.

The Ski bus stop is a few mins away and get's you to Galtur/Ischgl quickly.

The ski bus stop (for all areas) just a few minutes walk away.

From there it is a few seconds to the bus stop and then 10 mins to the Galtur lifts or 20 minutes to Ischgl.

We took advantage of the afternoon cakes and whirlpool; rented our skis from Intersport Wolfart (and left our boots and skis there each night to save coming up the hill to the hotel in our ski boots); and used the free bus to Wirl and Ischgl.

Location was a 5 minute walk to the centre of Galtur where the ski buses go up or down the valley.

The ski bus service linking Galtür to Ischgl was reliable and frequent.

We did not use the ski room as we left our skis at the InterSport rental shop which is 2 mins walk from the hotel and 1 mins walk from the bus stop for the ski bus to Ischgl or Wirl (Galtur ski area).

Excellent skiing area at Ischgl a short bus ride away with the added attraction of the different themed 'Shapes in White' to hunt for each year.

but the efficient ski bus gives you access to great skiing in the villages of Kappl and See, great skiing in uncrowded pistes.

Plus arrangement to leave skis/boots at a sports shop halfway to the bus ( and down the steep hotel-entrance slope!).

You can leave your boots and skis etc at the rental store which is between the hotel and the bus stop which was REALLY convenient.

Having said that Ishghl remains taxi-able, and there are some evening buses too.

The hotel has an arrangement with the local Hire shop for you to leave your equipment each day which is just by the ski bus stop which is very useful.

but brilliant spa facilities - a 500 metre walk to Intersport where you can leave your ski's & boots and then another 20 metres to the ski bus stop.

The buses run frequently and efficiently.

It’s well placed, only a stroll from the ski bus stop.

The main bus stop is just 20m from the hire shop.

The evening meals were superb, with a choice of main course and extensive salad buffet.The staff were competent, pleasant and service was top notch.The hotel is a few minutes walk in ski boots from the ski bus stop.

The ski hire shop, bus stop taking you to Ischgl was a short walk from the hotel.

We were skiing and there was an arrangement to leave skis and boots at a local shop which worked really well and was so convenient for the ski bus stop which also ran really frequently.

You can leave your skis and boots at the ski rental shop near the bus stop, suggest you do this because it's a steep slope up to the hotel.

Otherwise all very excellent: the owners and staff - service and friendliness are second to none; the quality and presentation of the food; location to ski bus stop; the ability to leave your skis and boots overnight  at the local Intersport shop, just 50 yards up the road; the warm, cosy bedrooms, spotlessly clean; the lovely and relaxing ambience.

This is a traditional Austrian hotel with great food and close to ski bus stops and the village centre.

It was a short walk through the small town to the bus stop to take you to the ski lifts.

But it's a good base for skiing, friendly, easy walk to free ski depot near bus stop if you don't want to do the hill twice a day in your ski boots.

The hotel is in excellent decorative order and spotlessly clean.

but was well maintained and kept spotlessly clean.

Room was a good size very clean, beds really comfortable & TV with good choice of English channels.

but cosy, and cleaned to such a high standard.

Rooms are cleaned everyday and are spotless.

Plenty of channels to choose from, great views from the balcony, clean and warm.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

For food, service, hospitality, cleanliness, and the Sauna/Steam room, boot room - all very good, and as expected.

The owners ensure an immaculately run hotel.

but large ( we had a balcony room ) and clean and much better than most I've stayed in.

Service is impeccable, restrained and ultra courteous.

They were serviced each day with replacement towels and kept tidy by their staff ect.

Having skied a reasonable amount around Europe, this is the best little hotel we have stayed in - absolutely spotless, wonderful food, small

Accommodation is very comfortable and clean

Rooms were clean, tidy and kept well everyday, breakfast had a very good and filling range from cereals, cold meats & cheeses, fruit, and breads.

This hotel was everything we couldn't want for a ski holiday.

All-in-all, a thoroughly good place for a holiday.

I have stayed in plenty of good hotels on skiing holidays - they have all been fine, well worth 4-5 stars.

We recently spent a skiing/snowboarding holiday here and loved the hotel.

We stayed here in a crystal holiday over Christmas.

Austria still remains my ski holiday location of choice!

We had a great week here as everyone already  said the food is above what you get in a 4* ski holiday in Austria  .

For our ski holidays we always like to go to a different resort every year

There was also an excellent range of cakes and snacks 4-5pm each day for the afternoon coffee break

It has taken me a while to get around to writing a review of this superb hotel where we stayed on a recent Crystal skiing holiday.

We were a party of four and had a wonderful stay and holiday once again.

Had one of the best ski holidays of my life and as good as the slopes were, the time away from the piste and the town in the hotel went a long way to account for that.

Everything about Alpenhotel is perfect for a skiing holiday.

Overall I had an amazing holiday and I would love to return!

Will certainly be on my return list of hotels (which does not include many), possibly for a Summer holiday where I would love to cycle around the area.

We had a week's skiing holiday here in January.

We had our best ski holiday ever at this hotel (skiing and Ischgl)!
