We had a decent size fully equipped 1 bedroom apartment with a small private yard on the ground floor and it worked perfectly well for us - great for kids or small bbq party.

The rooms are spacious for two and also three guests, and they also have larger rooms for two adults and two children as well as a few apartments for larger groups/families.

The rooms (we had a modern well-appointed apartment) were excellent.

They have very comfortable apartments available or just rooms.

We rented an apartment in hotel Rundeck with our family of 5.

My second visit to the Rundeck Hotel , every thing was first class , beds very comfortable the rooms spacious breakfast choices excellent really enjoyed our holiday and would highly recommend the Rundeck hotel or thier serviced apartments.

We stayed in one of the apartments, third floor with an outside deck, two bedrooms, two 'wet-room' style shower rooms with underfloor heating (one en-suite) and a comfortable kitchen/dining/living room.

We were in an apartment that included breakfast with our rate.

I shared a one bedroom apartment with my sister.

This time we needed accommodation for 5 instead of 2 and Rundeck offered a super deal on the 2 bedroom /2 bathroom apartment.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment with plenty of space & a balcony.

The apartment that could sleep up to 6 people was perfect.

The apartment was a very comfortable base.

Hotel Rundeck is a beautiful hotel, with large clean comfortable rooms.

but Klaus opened up for breakfast almost an hour before it was due to open and we were able to enjoy freshly baked croissants - not many places will do that for you.

One area of uncertainty lies within the use of and expected mode of dress for the sauna area, there was an unfortunate and uncomfortable discussion due to a misunderstanding and to avert this in the future would be good to have a sign to show users what's expected of them!

We were three ladies traveling together for a ski holiday and due to awful treatment at another hotel in Sölden we decided to leave there,

The price was a little bit expensive due to the peak season of skiing

Room size  is very decent (for two days we actually had to squeeze in 4 single beds to the room due to lack of availability of an extra room) and bathroom is very large.

Very convenient location, 4 minutes walk in ski boots to the lift.

If location is everything, Rundeck has it all, central, uber close to the Galzig main lift, bars, restaurants, and train station (how we arrived into St Anton).

First of all, this place is about Location, Location, Location - train station, ski lifts, main street with bars, restaurants and shops - are all literally on the doorstep.

Also the location is the best in St. Anton - only a short walk from the cable cars and right next doors to all restaurants.

Very well located for walking to restaurants and cable car.

The food is excellent, breakfast buffet, apre’ ski tastings (if you can bypass “apre’ ski” at the many charming slope-side Austrian pubs) and a gourmet dinner that cannot be matched.

Somewhat childish I accept, was to order each of the ingredients separately which she served us.

They offer a very large breakfast spread, afternoon snack buffet and great dinners.

Had a welcome drink and breakfast included.

Both breakfasts and dinners are buffet-style, offering a large variety of food selections.

The breakfast was plentiful and they provided me with soya yogurt and milk which was very helpful.

We also saw that the buffet was being cleared away from 7.40pm . .

I would say that the service was great from the friendly staff and the breakfast was reaaly good.

The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped, the food was excellent - we all loved the machine for squeezing fresh orange juice at breakfast and the staff were as friendly and helpful as they could possibly be, with the exception of the barmaid, who sadly was the only reason I didn’t give the hotel top marks, which was a great shame.

We had the same group of young wait staff assigned to our designated table for breakfast and dinner.

but you could always supplement them with extra helpings from the buffet bar.

Over priced uninspiring hotel food, buffet style and the staff could not wait to pack up and go home.

My kids loved the pool and the buffet in the evening.

however lovely surprise that it was and we were also offered coffee and breakfast.

The large wardrobe was also equipped with 20 coat hangers which was more than ample for 2 people and made a welcome change to many hotels we have visited in the past where we have had as few as 6/7 hangers between the 2 of us making it necessary to take 'extras' on holiday with us!

It was nice that they had a kid friendly dinner buffet 

While we were at the hotel there was a stomach bug that impacted hundreds of people in St. Anton and hit the Hotel Post HARD.

The dinners are a buffet salad and appetizers, then soup, entree and dessert plus cheese.

The half board (actually 3/4 board if you include the afternoon snack) features truly delicious dinners.

but the buffet food was mediocre at best.

The dessert buffet on the last evening of our stay was truly scrumptious- compliments to the chef.

No complaints about the food for breakfast and dinner.

It also gave me a good excuse to try out all the delicious desserts!

All meals were buffet style & the only things served were coffee pots at breakfast & drinks in the evening.

Breakfast and Evening meals were buffet/self service, with lots of choices, both local and to suit the British palette.

The hotel is located in a perfect position, near 3 of the 4 cable cars, at the beginning of the pedestrian zone.

It sets a location apart when this is the case.

It is located on the “pedestrian only” main street and short walk to modern ski lifts that will whisk you up to some of the best skiing in the Alps.

How to end the week on a low, the location, restaurant and rooms make this a perfect hotel to enjoy a week in St Anton.

The ski room is conveniently located to make ski storage easy and the pool, hot tub and sauna are great in the afternoon.

Hotel Post is very traditional and occupies one of the best locations in St. Anton.

The hotel is perfectly located and dominates the pedestrianised centre of St Anton.

Hotel is in a great location with excellent parking in the middle of the village.

We booked because of the location and you can really appreciate this whilst staying here.

The hotel is fantastically located, clean friendly and authentic, with a great wellness spa.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, close to the ski school, supermarket & local stores.

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are very nice.

Wi-fi was fast and reliable, the location cannot be bettered - a five min walk to the Galzig Gondola, Gampen chairlift and train station.

Also a fantastic location in the centre of the village.

Very impressed, great location and staff, who were all very welcoming (especially Sally and Mario!). Standard of food (and wine!)

The only reason I cannot give a 5 star excellent review is the poor catering in the restaurant.

Now you get sandwiches made from the poor quality white bread Austrians use for toast.

For the vegetarians amongst us there was little or no choice and one guest in particular chose to boycott the evening meal and eat out as the choices were so poor!

The standards in the dining room are IMHO poor by any reckoning,

really poor quality and selection, there were at least 3-4 main dishes that we couldn't touch.

This was a £1600 per head one week ski holiday, we were reminded "you have paid for the hotel quality", apparently we should expect poor service on everything else!.

but the coffee brought to the table in a flask at breakfast was very poor.

The hotel is dated ,the food choice was very poor as was the service.

but I would suggest that the owners consider whether the revenue generated by the club is worth the poor sleep quality for the hotel guests.

Between our group with expensive wines thrown in throughout the course of the week we probably spent in excess of £25k.

Added to this was the fact that you have to pay for coffee/tea and surprising that we had to pay for water as well with the evening meal.

However at the same time, I think some information was not really properly communicated, like if there were a cost for the buffet or not (I still don't knwo, I went out to dine in the Dorf instead).

She seemed to disbelieve me and produced another printout itemising the daily charges and when I had paid them.

We had breakfast included and on the second night we booked half board dinner, which was a mistake and expensive.

Beware of accountants who know the cost of everything and the value of almost nothing.

Although the room also had a small fridge, we were disappointed that there wasn't a kettle or tea and coffee making facilities in the room which would have been very welcome after a long days walking particularly as the hotel charges 3/4 euro for a small cup of coffee!

but especially by reference to the past and the prices charged.

We were disappointed to have to pay a local tax on departure of around 100 Euros, which we were told was used towards the wages of the security staff who patrol the high street in the early hours.

Last year the Chalet was oversold (price vs facilities).

Ski resorts in the summer often have a surplus of high quality accommodation and we stayed at the Hotel Post for a fraction of the winter cost.

but some new paint and wood on the walls would make miracles for a cheap price.

It wasn't really a 4 star room in my opinion for the price especially

but unforunately it becomes too expensive for me for a skiing holiday.

but on the contrary the management were verging on aggressive in their insistence we paid full price - no mention was made to the downsizing of our room either!

I would have been happy to pay 2-3 times more for the quality offered.

Although we complained at reception they said it was just unfortunate and chose not to either apologise or appease us in any way .Never going back there ,very unpleasant stay ,expensive waste of money.

Given the top dollar pricing this is probably about right.

Hotel Post will get your ski pass for you (let them know as soon as you arrive - or call them before if you want to ski the same day) and you will pay along with your other purchases at the hotel (drinks etc) when you check out.

Food is great: much better of any expectation from a 4star hotel, considering all my previous experiences (I had to congratulate with the chef!).

The salad bar is so extensive it can be your dinner.

Question - given a set of ingredients, which were in stock behind the bar, would you make a cocktail to the customers request?

No clomplaints whatsoever, rooms are Clean, large and airy, food was fine, a bustling bar of locals made us feel right at home.

We were usually greeted at both meals by Himo, the sommelier, who always checked in to see how we were doing, The staff at the Post was very friendly and always eager to help.

they always told me what I could eat and provide separate veg if it was coated in

The food was bland and repetitive after the 3rd day, only the coffee in the morning was good and the bread choice was good.

Staff are amazing, the hotel has been lovely refurbished, excellent facilities, food was always fresh and good value .

but I could happily have eaten it every day.

There are only a limited number of places fully open for lunch in St Anton so we were fortunate to stumble on the Hotel Post which offered us very good food, accompanied by prompt and efficient service

We especially loved Ina in the bar - she made fantastic cocktails and we looked forward to seeing her every evening in the bar for cocktail hour before dinner.

We were on half board basis and the food was generally very good.

This hotel has a great staff with great service, the food is good and the rooms are big with a view of the mountains, a perfect hotel for  stay in the Austrian Moutains, the city is the perfect place to go to diffrent good ski fields

Eat out its better value and better food.

I had a single room which was comfortable and nicely appointed (could have done with a kettle and tea-making facilities [ideally]).
