However the front counter and room service was poor.

The beautiful environment is entirely ruined by the poor management of the place.

however frustrated by some small issues they could be easily corrected to elevate the experience-no cushions on the sun loungers, pool service was the best kept secret, no facility/tourist info in the room, poor breakfast service, unnecessary security policy.

Room service "club sandwiches" were 1/2 toasted, cold and poor.

Ugly big towers, dirty appartment, poor quality breakfast.

The fact that she chose to directly accuse and “blacklist” me is a sign of poor employee attitude and miscommunication on the hotel’s side.

but no cushions on loungers and because they were made of wooden slats very uncomfortable to lie on, Breakfast poor and dining area not good.

The downside on the rooms are - very noisy from units above , chairs sliding / etc can be heard - the finishing in the bathrooms are very poor , the shampoos and shower gel are on the lower end .

Wonderful, serene resort tucked in wooded area with a lake and with limestone hills as backdrop.

but if you are a couple looking to relax and unwind forget it.

The ambience of the resort is very nice and peaceful.

As etched in my memory, the setting is idyllic, peaceful and hauntingly beautiful.

A very restful and relaxed stay in this resort for our family of 4 in a 2+1 unit overlooking the pool for 4 nights.

I have a fantastic time at the resort, its very peaceful and i love the nature where i can breath in fresh air and the hospitality was amazing.

We went there for a company retreat and had the most wonderful experience.

however service was noticably slow during check-in and meal times and the single restaurant lacked much variety for longer stays.

Again service at the restaurant was slow and I observed frustration in several other patrons when we were there.

Our checkout was rather slow as their system was down and they also missed one of our food bills.

Weather was hot so it felt like the air condition was slow to get the rooms cooled.

Very slow service and staff with no sense of urgency.

The hospitality for the restaurant was great.

The Haven is definitely not a 5* hotel by international standards, the experience is much closer to an AirBnB.

Unique pool and a number of other facilities like tennis court.

The swimming pool is facing mountains too so it's a good spot for OOTD.

Overall, I like the staff smiling, greeting, well groomed, polite and willing to help.

Great eternity swimming pool next to the lake is a unique feature.

There's lots to do there, from the best outdoor nature swimming pool, pony to lil rabbits, Trex, playground for kids, walk around the lake is just wonderful.

There's a sauna too and a scenic swimming pool.

The seahorse shaped swimming pool with infinity pool was spectacular, surrounded by mother nature's beauty.

An excellent jogging tracks with big an well kept swimming pool.

Their Management have maintain the Hotel Haven, room, bathroom, lake, swimming pool and other hotel area very good.

The swimming pool is huge with the mountain views infront.

The participants were very happy as they enjoy the big swimming pool along with the amenities there.

Hotel front desk and breakfast staff are very friendly.

From the moment we arrived we experienced excellent service from the hotel staff especially Lara Corft who arranged our Friendship gathering with special arrangement that blows our mind out of world and not to forget Skywalker and Tony Stark they were friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

This is a pleasant hotel for people who want a clean and well decorated hotel room with all the amenities.

The hotel is tastefully decorated and the cafe next door,  Oldtown White Coffee Cafe is awesome too, plus it opened till late night.

We find the hotel interior design very unique and exceptional, tech savvy too.

It’s very disappointing about the level of cleanliness for such a beautifully designed hotel and such a damper for us.

So far the best hotel design Ive ever stayed.

Loved the Xmas Deco & design of the hotel & room - Rustic Chic.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the environment of the hotel is nice and decorated with beautiful christmas deco and the room is cosy.

The interior design for this hotel was nice and great just like what it display in the web.

Uniquely designed hotel to enchant visitors , very good for short stay, with very friendly staffs .

Very well decorated hotel with different themes for each floors.

The hotel atmosphere quite quirky and stylish.

My complain will be the aircond is too noisy and not cold enough.

The only thing that disturbed me is the open concept bathroom ;  no door was installed!

- Corridor using wooden design causing noise when there walking arround
- water blockage in bathroom

- breakfast choice not much (please don't choose breakfast included), time for breakfast also quite late (begin 730am) not convenience for biz trip

However, the walls were not thick enough to insulate sound from the next room especially noises created by an unruly child.

The only thing to comment is car park area is quiet and no security guard or staff around, it was scaring when went to car to pick something at 10++pm.

At some point there was some noise from the air-con outside, the outside units are just behind the windows near the bed.

Our stay was not a good experience:
- the hotel is located next to a road, which make it very noisy.

Wardrobe creaking noise, corridors flooring, next room guests voices.

Just the bad thing about this hotel is, the sound proof very bad, always can hear people passby the room and hear the water sound when upstairs flush water.

Despite the positive start we had a major issue with the room in terms of being woken in the middle of the night by red ants that had gotten into the bed.

only one thing may improve is the soundproof for room, people pass by our room may hear the footsteps sound and trolley go through sound.

When we arrived after being stuck in festive season traffic for hours, we discovered its convenience too.

Couldn’t sleep well due to noise from main road and pigeons outside window making a lot of noise.

Some drawback: soundproof is not that great, the room could be quite dark due to lack of bright lights in the room, air-con could be a bit noisy for some.

The aircon is not very cold and rather noisy (same after relocating to another room after feeding back to the reception).

but its fully sealed, and as such never get any cleaning and looks dirty outside.

There is sound of water at night from the bathroom.

However, the downsides for us are 1) the noise in the room which is not sound proof.

Hi, this hotel was really awesome via their decoration and their room, It was really a good stay as it nearest to all my checklists places.

I love my room and the interior really good.

Big thank you to the staff that decorated the room with balloons since it was my birthday.

the hotel room atmosphere and design is so antique & classic.

Room was very well designed with cute room robe (cant  really say bath robe i think since they are not made from towel material) and there were some welcome snacks with very cute note from the team.

Good Service, environment are clean, room decoration are amazing & comfortable, and convenient for parking, location are nearby town.

Just one aspect which is negative: the rooms are rather tiny and this makes the hotel more suitable only for an overnight stay.

First time staying in a boutique hotel so not use to the small room

Love it’s deco and ambience, although the rooms are quite small (my parents room did not have any tables or desks, which is a little inconvenient)

however the room is a bit small that I had to move the bed aside to have more space to pray.

Plus the room is quite small, so basically i feel like living in an extended toilet.

The room is small , luckily we book the premier room which is a bit larger than other room.

While the room was small, there was thoughtfulness in maximising the space.

Room is tiny and no enough lighting in room.

But the room is very small , bathroom and toiled no place to move yourself inside , it’s like airplane cabins.

My brother was bitten alive by bed bugs, told by the staff this is natural occurance and offered 2 mineral water as compensation with a swap of room.

The front desk staff were courteous and polite.

There’s a laundry room - get the reception to assist you.

The staff was helpful and the check in/out process smooth.

There are 3 huge jars of hacks sweets at the reception counter even. 😄.

but I request to change it and the staff assisted to help.

The staff also treat us well and everything was smooth and good.

Most Retro Design in this M Boutique Hotel Ipoh, Excellent and Kind Service in front counter, Nice Location nears by Ipoh city.

Good staff service and the most important is we no need take a more time for check in.

When I asked for 3 instead of 2 room entry cards,  they said that they only had 2 per room, no more.

During check in the receptionist failed to inform us that the hotel offered 10% discount for Parkson card holder.

I did not try the WiFi as I already have a prepaid card with Digi.

b)  Hotel room 302 - card lock spoilt,  could not get it repaired,  used a metal key instead.

Impose RM200 recovery charges for smoking in the room.

There was some chaos over our credit cards not working on their machine, and then -- when we said we wouldn't pay for our rooms in cash, then suddenly one of our cards did work miraculously.

They did made a mistake of charging me $100 instead of just authorising the deposit.

While I did like the hotel, I was surprised that they wanted to charge extra for my daughter who stayed with me me in the room with my mother.

but hey look at how much they charge and then bask in the bargain you have found.

Hope they consider charging extra and offer complimentary breakfast.

The thing is that they charge per head if the amount of people staying exceeds what's mentioned on the hotel room.

Cleanliless 	:	8/10, Clean, 412 toilet bowl has non removable stain
Facilities 	:	8/10, working table with table light, bed side table.

They charged the creditcard I'd used at the hotel and later alsoi tried to ch=arge the creditcard I used to secure the booking via booking.com.
