The staff at this location were particularly friendly and helpful, very professional in my opinion.

When I made my on-line reservation, I didn't realize I had a smoking room.

The room smells like the a/c filter needs changing and the a/c only seems to get the room cooled off once you take it off of auto.

They went over and above to move us from a smoking room to a non smoking room.

but it was obvious that at one time these rooms were used as smoking rooms.

Odor in rooms, sheets were disgustingly dirty, blood spots on the bed sheets, the outside of the place looks like a place that would hold a brothel.

The non smoking room reeked heavily of smoke, so much so that we told the front desk so we wouldn’t be charged for it.

There's a constant stream of vehicles and people in and out, they're smoking outside of their rooms, and it's noisy.

We stayed in the smoking room and room didn't smell like smoke to me.

Oh, we had nonsmoking rooms and the room smelled great (was a little worried since there are smoking rooms).

The room smelled like and ash tray until they offered to spray down the room.

We're non smokers who booked our reservation through USAA and got stuck in a smoking room that hadn't been adequartely deodorized since the creation of baking soda.

I requested a non smoking room and was placed in a smoking room that REAKED of smoke.

Rooms had an old musty smell that left you wondering what was in the room prior, no shower curtain and shower head would not work.

I founf the room filthy; ith had mould on the shower head and in the sink.

Tried to give us a smoking room when we requestion non smoking.

The room was filthy and when we woke up, there were BUGS in the sink crawling all over.

The room was small and it had a very stale smell upon entering, like no cleaning supplies had been used.

The breakfast was beyond amazing- especially in comparison to the stale muffins and granola bar “light continental” breakfasts we just had in TN.

Ours was a bottoms floor, way in the back, No smoking King.

The room did not feel clean and smelled musty.

Non smokers will not be able to stay in this hotel.

The next morning, I told Victoria at the front desk about the two problems, left to go to the hospital for a few hours, and by golly, when I got back, the fridge had been replaced and my drain was running smoothly.

I was so grossed out, we just had to checkout.

IF you do I would make sure you verify your accommodations at least twice and if you do request non-smoking that they have checked and provided written documentation as to such.

Room had wet floor by bed, hair in bathtub and strong chemical smell in bathroom.

Like a mildew order in the room .. No bottle water in the room . .

The room was very clean except there was some food debris and what looked like dried heel skin on the floor by the bed.

Upon entering our room had a strong foul odor of unknown origin   The room did not contain enough soap or an ice bucket.

The staff is amazing, from the front desk to the breakfast ladies!

I also have to mention the fabulous staff!

After being a night auditor for only a month, she was effervescent in her explanation of her work environment.

Jamie at the front desk was very professional and polite.

Staffing in all departments were very professional nice kind thoughtful and helpful.

The ladies in the breakfast area were really nice and helpful.

Lookout Point is a favorite stay because of the beautiful setting, luxurious accommodations and friendly owners and staff.

The staff could not be more friendly and were helpful in giving us ideas on restaurants and points of interest.

I didn't expect to find what was advertised on their website since most things don't look as good as they do on a website,

It looks just like it does on the website and had everything we needed including bath products, robe, hair dryer, makeup mirror, body lotion, plenty of towels--even a little towel to take my makeup off with.

we were immediately turned off when we logged on and were directed to the Lookout Point Inn website which had a scrolling banner indicating that "walk in guests" could have a room for $169 per night if a room was available.

What you see on the website is exactly what you get in person,

I was looking for a romantic getaway to celebrate our 25th anniversary and found this website and reviews which barely begin to describe this bit of paradise!

but if you're reading this go on over to the website select a room and head out.

We traveled to Hot Springs for a weekend getaway, and chose to stay at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn based on their website and stellar reviews on tripadvisor.

If you check the website pictures, they are exactly like you will see when you get there.

Even after seeing the pictures on the website, we were still in awe when we arrived.

When viewing the website, you may want to check out the room comparison which gives square footage and amenities.

I could tell from the pictures on the website and the reviews from past guests that this would be a special place,

The wall paper is dingy and I can't tell what the original color of the carpet was.

The carpet in the room was filthy and the amenities were minimal.

From peeling wallpaper, to the old carpet and motif it was not the most updated Hilton property we have used.

Negatives: no USB ports anywhere, peeling wallpaper, stained carpet and furniture, curtains not hung correctly, mold in tub grout, the tub/shower floor was like a bowl making it very difficult to stand in and the water would not drain.

The carpet had several stains and was old and worn down.

First off the property, our room was dirty with ripped carpet, stained mattresses, tattered curtains, faucets that were impossible to turn on and an exterior window that was dangerously operational.

The room is outdated with furniture and the carpet is dirty and dingy.

The carpet was filthy, there was a roach in the kitchenette area and the room was never cleaned during our multiple day stay

Out-dated furnishings and carpet in the room, not to mention the stale cigarette smell.

The room carpet was covered in stains, the bedroom darkening blinds had large tears and the worst was the mold in the bathroom.

Carpets were stained plus the bathroom floor was sticky.

The carpet in room was completely stained.

The carpet was so bunched up in his room that he couldn’t open the closet to hang his suits.

This location had a friendly staff, and a nice spa.

All in all, the hotel is not horrid (and staff were friendly),

One thing we really like is how friendly the staff is.

Overall a great location, friendly staff, breakfast included and a shuttle available for a fee of $5 a person.

#4 the biggest I got hit was $100 smoking fee when I clearly went to the smoking area OUTSIDE the front of the hotel each time which was only 3 times my entire stay(Currently disputing the charge).

I work in the trucking industry with hazardous materials I cannot afford to have broken skin exposed to potentially deadly chemicals, and the relentless itching and skin irritation is a nuisance.

The entire room gave off a very disgusting vibe in general.

It's the shower curtain liner with mildew on it.

Finally we got the room and it was disgusting!!!!

THE POOL- stayed S-M-T (not busy days) pool was nasty all 3 days I wouldn't even get in it

Unfortunately we went through a 3rd party booking and the hotel would not honor our non-smoking reservation.

The shower curtain was covered in mold and there was mold in the creaves of the shower.

The couch and chair in the room was beyond disgusting and needed to be throw away years ago.

The room was drab and smelled old and musty.

Also enjoyed the 2 room along with breakfast options and hospitality evenings - nice staff.

I met with the Assistant Manager named TJ.

but nice staff, good breakfast, cousins enjoyed the bar, not noisy

Each employee that we spoke with was polite and willing to go the extra mile to help out.

No problems to report and the staff was helpful too.

This hotel has all the trappings of elegance - like extra large rooms, glass-enclosed elevators, pool and workout facilities, helpful bellman.

EVERY person we encountered was very polite and professional!

Note this desk clerk witness my husband walking  slowly coming in and could see he was a stroke victim and had no compassion for him.

Brought that to the attention to the young kid who checked me…he had a snarky attitude and could of cared less.

Good: We are a senior couple from the USA and stayed in corner suite 420.  we were happy with the room and the daily breakfast and "reception".

I immediately called the hotel, and the rep said I had 2 bookings for the conference.

What looks like a 100 year old soap dish in the shower. Ugh.

Bathrooms and carpet will be the last improvements.

Experienced the traditional bath and massage at the Arlington.

There's no light in the enclosed shower stall and the shower head came out about 5 ft off the ground, so I had to squat to wash my head.

The bathroom is small and shower was moldy.

Some of the fixtures in the room were broken such as the bathroom door knob.

The bathroom had little counter space and hot water was lacking.

I broke a toe on a loose piece of carpet after my shower.

There were no common amenities like soap or shampoo in the room.

The shower had rust stains down the tiles and the tub had large pieces of plaster missing.

There was slimy soap scum in the shower's soap tray.

The bathroom was small, like the sink runs your shoulder when you sit on the toilet.

The bathroom is small, as expected in an older hotel.

If you like: difficulty getting your door unlocked with the door key, a bath that takes more than 5 minutes for water to get hot (in a thermal "suite" mind you), a suite that is no larger than a normal sized hotel room, a bathroom that hasn't been updated for 50 years, no counter space in the bathroom whatsoever, cheap/squeaky bed, mediocre mattresses, poor drinks at the lobby bar, just to name a few.

The bartender was very nice and friendly.

Great dignitaries have stayed there over the years and is friendly to all walks of life.
