As well as the other staff made our stay very comfortable.

The bedroom was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

but we had a fan which was sufficient for us to keep the room comfortable during the night.

The hotel was both clean and welcoming and the room was  comfortable with all appliances working in the bathroom plus ample towel supply.

Staff were very helpful Sam and Bishno were very accommodating and polite people 👌we are staying at travelodge Maidstone for business purposes and we feel so comfortable and happy as its not far from our work site.

The restaurant food was excellent and seating was comfortable.

My bed was comfortable, the food was nice, the prices were reasonable and the service was great.

The bed was comfier than I had hoped for.

Room was nice, very comfy bed, very clean and free car park.

The online booking was easy to do,  the check-in and check-out were easy and fast, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good and offered a nice variety of choices.

Road noise (with the windows open - no AC) so ask for top floor room not facing the main road.

Even with windows closed you will hear traffic noise 24/7.

however, you do get to hear abit of noise being close to the motorway .Perhaps had I closed my windows I would not have heard the noise outside at night

No Aircon meant window open to all the noise in a busy city .

Didn’t sleep well and had to keep windows closed even tho it was very warm because of the noise, we were then woke at six am by bin men emptying glass recycling, so not much sleep, I had a long drive that day, which wasn’t helpful

This is a city centre hotel so there is traffic noise and with no air con windows may need to be open,

I offered to pay for another room to sleep a single person to which they said no straight away, the language used was absolutely horrendous and I will never use travelodge again after this experience!!

Due to the heat, the window had to be open (2022 heatwave) which meant there was some noise from the roads outside

This hotel was disappointing in various respects: the room was very stuffy and noisy, the bed linen was nylon, fellow guests hung around the building smoking.

The only disadvantage was that the street outside was very noisy with rowdy pedestrians until the early hours

but I guess that is why we had less noise.

So between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. we weren't able to sleep.. you could also hear everything that people were saying walking past the walls and doors are very thin.

The hotel is so loud not because of the traffic, you can hear everything and everyone walking around running around doors slamming.

Was noisy with lots of parties and drunk people around.

though as our room over the car park was sometimes noisy and unfortunately we passively smoked the cigarettes smoked downstairs!

That said, it is centrally situated, so lighter sleepers may need earplugs.

Superb sound-proofing so couldn't hear the busy traffic below or anyone next door.

Not soundproofed inside or outside, so don't expect a quiet night if you're staying at a busy time.

Food is great to two course meal for £12:75 bargain

There was also a hot drinks machine in the café that we used which was great.

The food choices were good and service quick, especially breakfast which was served promptly, which help us out with our early starts.

The food was tasty and the night shift staff were very helpful, especially Sam and Jarod.

Can recommend Thai Orchid and Artamis Greek Restaurant

Everything was clean and a very good service and great food all top notch, you couldn't ask for better, stunning view out of my room over the River Midway and great for going a good walk either up or down stream, a great place to stay if going to the Headcorn Battle of Britain aero Legends airshow and a good boat trip close by, just a short walk and great Wildlife around too.

Our room was nice and clean and the food was great.

Rooms where clean and quiet, the in-house menu was perfect and the breakfast buffet was top notch.

Great stay helpful staff we stayed so many times in this hotel and we are always happy to be there we also like the food and the service staff are very professional and very informative specially Sam, Dawn, Kai and Cam we definitely will be staying again.

We stayed at Maidstone Travelodge just for one night 
Had dinner which was very good as was breakfast ( not all Travelodges have on site catering which was very welcome)
Room & linen were  clean and fresh 
Only issues were room was too hot & couldn’t work out the heating system to cool us down so had to have window open all night which meant a lot of extraneous noise crept in as we were in the town centre

Stuff was amazing especially dawn working behind the bar rooms was lovely and clean happy hour from 5 to 7.

The bed linen was fresh and fragrant and the room was a perfect temperature.

Checked in late last night, Night staff ( Sam ) are amazing and very helpful and informative booked me in in a good quiet room, I had no booking and I was a walk in guest Sam helped me to book the room online due to some issues with the booking system i literally had nowhere to go

She brought a fan to my room and clean bedding as soon as I asked.

Clean room and well equipped room (no hairdryer though) A great breakfast to start the day and well worth booking. Brilliant.

Despite disability we had a 1st floor access room to which you could not use the lift in a fire.

but my room was lovely and the shower was fantastic.

My room was to hot I request staff to change my room even 2nd was hot and smelly staff member visit and agree that smell was quite bad in room 
After 30 min up and down 1 ask for refund cuz I was not happy with room

They way we were spoken to was disgusting; we were told to “shut up” and “hurry up and go sleep” by a security guard (believe his name was Sam as that is what we were told).

Just before we left the room I put my hand on the bed as I lent to the floor to get my water canister and the bed felt a bit damp.

Everytime we left the hotel reception we’re never there they where always smoking outside

So we pay 140 pounds for a smelly room , and very very small.

bathroom was filthy and the hallways were too. .

for one night stay nothing wrong with hotel staff friendly only downside we had was the smell of weed in the hallway early hours or morning

The chicken was hard and the meal disgusting !

We had one working light in our room, the floor hadn’t been hoovered, the toilet had urine on the seat and rim and to top it off we had a party going on in the room above us on the next floor.

One of the rooms smelt strongly of urine!!

however for cleanliness was to be desired, in my opinion cleaners need to be taught how to clean, there were grubby old stains in various places on the carpet, cobwebs in the windows, the bathroom had a musty smell which could’ve been the shower curtain or from the shocking toilet which you had to repeatedly flush and then wasn’t great or could’ve been the grotty floor that was brown in places, I could carry on.

If you close the window because there isn't any air conditioning say hello to night sweats!

We had to walk through a fog of tobacco smoke to reach our car.

Tiny double rooms are like SINGLE with poorly designed bathroom and mouldy shower tray with NO FAN EXTRACTOR.

If left later, it can be a bit stale and tasteless.

Even with the fan and window open it was still very hot so made it a hard night sleep.

Was here for a birthday weekend only problem was the window didn’t shut properly so was letting all the cold in from outside

The bathroom had a minuscule shower tray with a curtain.

It was dark and the window was draughty and made the room cold with a noticeable breeze.

Only negatives were my room on the 4th floor was very warm with the window locked shut.

We had to close our window all night as we would never have slept.

but everything you need(except hair dryer for the wife),first night was a bit iffy,in the early hours the police were called as the staff had to evict four rooms of young people who were getting out of hand,swearing and arguing for a couple of hours right below our window with the police who eventually got the situation under control and quiet resumed.

The hotel is next to a main road which means traffic noise can be an issue in the early hours of the morning, particularly in the summer when windows have to be left open due to no air con in the bedrooms.

As we were on the ground floor, whilst convenient there was no natural light as the curtains were permanently drawn for privacy.

The only draw back is that the room get very stuffy as one cannot open the windows due to the level of noise outside.

I agree with the previous reviewer about the shower - it's impossible to shower without the curtain sticking to you!

The bathroom wasn't the best, was pretty hard to shower without the curtain getting stuck to you!

Wedding and  Birthday Party we’re going on over the weekend too.

We came today as a treat for my daughters 16th birthday.

We held a family birthday event at the hotel and again the venue and staff couldn't have been better.

Brought my daughter for her birthday for a spa day last week can not fault the place then today returned with my partner to show him around now he wants to become a member definitely got our custom now and huge thank you to Deborah Davey who made our visit perfect from start to finish

They helped us arrange the perfect birthday surprise that was totally tailored to our requirements.

Booked the dining room for a family birthday lunch for twelve.

Thank you everyone at BRIDGEWOOD for making our daughter's birthday so special.

Evening meals exceptional ..   bottle of bubbly delivered to room on arrival such a lovely surprise for our birthdays .

I booked an overnight spa break for my friend's 60th birthday.

She had even arranged for a ‘birthday boy’ message in chocolate on his dessert plate, which was a nice touch.

Visited here with my father in law to celebrate his 65th birthday for a couple of drinks in the afternoon.

when I told her on the phone it was my wife's birthday she upgraded our room and we had a free bottle of wine in the room waiting for us..she was fabulous.

7 of us went to celebrate a friends birthday and we were reserved an area by the fireplace.

My mum & I we’re celebrating our 70th & 50th birthdays, we had a lovely overnight stay 22nd November, a lovely massage by Jess feeling very relaxed afterwards

I took my mum here on a spa break from Spabreaks.com for her birthday.

She even helped us to book chairs in the seating area for lunch the next day, to make my birthday treat all the more special.

Hoped to book my daughter a couple of spa treatments for her 12th Birthday along with us having afternoon tea in the hotel.

We stayed there twice, no faults at all, staff very helpfull and friendly on all aspects.

I would like to thank all the staff at The Bridgewood Manor for a wonderful wedding celebration.The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient.The food was delicious,the wedding room was excellent and the hotel room great.A big thank you to the DJ Dave provided by the hotel,who was a great entertainer and kept the party lively

Staff were very friendly at reception when we arrived.

All the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful and there was no issues when we wanted to eat outside for example, everything was accommodated with a smile.

Every member of the team were friendly and greeted you when passing asking cheerily if we were ok. Or how are you.

Whilst the staff are polite and friendly, some don’t look happy in their work whilst others go above and beyond.

Staff were also very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Events manager Tina made all the arrangements beforehand so effortless, being sympathetic, understanding and friendly organising availability, discussing what Bridgewood could offer and pricing, afternoon tea was worth every penny!

First time we stayed here, very quite on the guest front which was a shame for the staff, all of which were lovely, friendly and welcoming.

From start to finish the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The other complaint about rooms on this corridor is the amount of noise you experience in the rooms from the conference and wedding venues within the hotel, which are heavily used day and night.

There were two wedding receptions taking place on the Saturday night, so the hotel was very lively and noisy

although turned off a midnight still left guests in the central patio square shouting until past 4 in the morning.

but intermittently, giving a flowing and dripping noise, waking us up at night.

although we could hear the disco from our bedroom it wasn’t that loud and certainly didn’t stop us from sleeping.

At gone midnight and before 6 am it’s disturbing enough.

but u can hire robes nice warm relaxation area  room was lively nice big tv only moan only 2 sockets in room not 1 by the bed so had to move stuff about to plug in kettle charger and hairdryer table booked for 7pm  u get an allowance of £28 per person we had soup and a prawn and squid dip lovely then we had bavette steak with amazing chips and garlic butter the a banana and toffee creme brulee stunning we only had to oay £3 difference  beds were comfy nice big rad in room u can here the road (m2) if u have window open nice bath and shower we gad room 38 which is fairly quiet at the back of hotel.

It was very noisy and I could hear the people talking in the next room.

but that we should not hear too much of them - and they'd be over by 11pm.

You come there to relax and the noise the unbearable .

She and her fellow waitress started talking about me loudly as my husband walked past them.

Could hear doors banging, dogs barking through the night having requested a quieter room.

Some pork could not be cut to eat and was a strange colour (to me this was old freezer stock, colourless and tasteless) Fish dishes smelt on the plate and could not be masked with a sauce, I felt this was also old food from the freezer.

Unfortunately, later that evening, there was an unwelcome disturbance with an unsavoury resident-

The bed was hard and the guy next door peeing at full volume shows how little the place has soundproofing.

When we finally got into bed I couldn't sleep at all because the mattress is all bumpy and it makes awful squeaky noise when we move.

In the evening there was a lot of noise shouting and music playing I assume from one of the parties or the wedding guests.

but this did mean that we could hear every word of the man next door swearing and shouting, which was interesting.

but other than that the wet room was clean.

It was lovely, the room was very clean (a little outdated).

Our room was spotless the walk in shower as new.

Bed was comfortable , room was clean , staff were friendly and helpful.

The Hotel room was very neat and tidy, the staff were very accommodating to us as we were running late!

but a lovely friendly lady called Georgia helped us to check in at 3 and 240 was a nice and clean room.

A lovely clean tidy room, very comfortable bed and tea coffee kettle all provided - the room was very well equipped with iron, ironing board, fan, hairdryer.

Our room again was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice if a little dated.

The spa area & treatment rooms were clean.

Check is was extremely efficient and all of the the people at the hotel were very welcoming and worked hard.

My son had his Wedding Reception here, the stay and facilities were spot on , and on the evening of the Reception the staff and organisers went above and beyond,,.

I went as part of a coach trip, reception staff very friendly and helpful, room a good size.

On checking in the staff were very pleasant on reception, I had forgotten to remove our dog from the booking as I booked before he died,

One wanders whether the hotel is having difficulty in recruiting competent staff.

She went above and beyond for us no matter the questions we had.

All the staff were so so lovely and the reception staff were so welcoming!

Firstly , the staff wee so helpful, I would like to single out Maddie who was so attentive to our wedding party on Friday and to my new wife and I this evening, a big thank you.

There is no air con in the rooms and the sound proofing is not very good.

This meant they were dripping with condensation in the morning!

The wasn’t any air conditioning, just a fan in the room so it was quite hot and this wasn’t in the heatwave.

Rooms were stifling hot,NO AIR COOLERS only a small fan that did nothing to cool the room.

but was told on arrival at 10am check in wasn’t available, had to wait till 11:50, was told we would be credited back the £20 fee but this didn’t happen, Rooms very warm although a fan was in the room.

No airconditioning in the rooms, which are so small they are more like cupboards.

No fridge in the room (for my insulin) and no air conditioning made it unbearably hot even with the window open.

2 hours of achieved sleep as dehydrated with only a cheap fan and a persistent bed spring to keep us company i’ve never been so relieved to go home.

No air conditioning and windows that open only a few inches.

Rooms are 1000 degrees (no air con) and smell of stale smoke.

No aircon, no fan nothing offered in the heatwave.

The room was pokey, the temperature unbearably hot due to no air conditioning and windows that could not be fully opened.

When we got checked in and went up to our room we looked out the window and could see a tree along with the bright pink mercure sign in the background and the loud sounds of ventilation fans which we believe are the kitchen fans.

Also the heating was up so high in the room it was like a sauna and there was a brown stain on the ceiling..

Our room was lovely although the room was so hot the windows only opened a crack our fan didn’t work there was no air it wasn’t even that warm outside

A fan was provided to make up for lack of aircon.

The rooms really do need updating as they are showing their age, the shower curtain was a surprise and disappointing especially for a 4 star hotel.

One of the bedside light switches was broken and was fixed after reporting, unlike the toilet roll holder that was also broken buy never got fixed!

There were stains on the walls and ceiling, the bathroom had not been cleaned there was hairs on floor and they were still there when we left.
