The breakfast at the Hotel is 97% a Chinese breakfast.

Liked the stir fried broccoli, pan fried cod fish, kale with walnut salad.

Nice food selection for the breakfast buffet.

The biggest issue is with the operations of the breakfast  and dinner buffet.

Breakfast was also very good, many options at the buffet!

Club breakfast had good mix of traditional and western foods.

The breakfast place was packed with people.

The rooms have the usual amenities, a great bed to sleep in, a beautiful bath room, the breakfast buffet has all you can wish for and the fitness center is great.

The good things are breakfast quality and service from front desk hoteliers.

We were also assisted at the pool by Jason Zhang and at the Club Lounge by Lillian and Nana.

Room service was average at best and the lounge is not comparable to other Sheraton lounges I have seen.

The city view from the lounge is spectacular!

Closest Western food is a McDonalds at this mall, (Victory Mall).

It takes about five minutes to get to the nearby shopping mall by taxi.

Overall this is an acceptable if also unremarkable offering in a city where local options offer unique experiences to those able to converse in basic mandarin.

but other than those minor things it was a completely acceptable hotel.

but the Hohhot property is below their normal standard
SPG Club room was basic and Club Lounge disappointing. .

Having to wait an eternity for hot water to arrive is also something I expect in a cheap hostel,

Maybe I could not compare the hotel qualities in China and in overseas ,

but without sufficient pool of qualify managers to preserved Starwood qualities will only compromise Starwood brand values !!!

only issue it disturbed me had been wet area in the gym which even if hotel seems quite new, n.2 jacuzzi tub were out of order and not available with tiles missing in some areas of the wet area like it was used low quality tiles or cheap way to fix them during hotel construction

My point- the first young lady obviously had no clue what standards to follow, and nobody bothered to train her.

This was not the standard I expected from a Sheraton Hotel.

While I found the rooms to be clean and my beds to be soft I wasn't impressed by the f&b offerings.

Our family stayed in the Club room on Aug 1st.

The staff at the Horizon Club did everything.

The staff were friendly and helpful particularly in the Horizon Club.

Especially in the Club Lounge on the 21st Floor we were greeted with a big and sincere smile every day.

Arriving at the hotel we were invited for free drinks and dinner in the Horizon Club, as well as a complementary breakfast the next morning.

At check in a well spoken English speaking representative helped me check in and advised me to up grade to a Club room.

Simon (don't know the last name) the front office manager and his team made us really feel welcome and from the concierge to the executive lounge team, spa team - all of the staff were really friendly and helpful.

They have a cosy lounge where we had a wonderful and relaxing time.

After getting back one evening, enjoyed a nice Bordeaux wine in the lounge,

I booked the Horizon Lounge, great deal and a city view from the lounge.

This hotel is very beautiful and the executive lounge was excellent. Basically empty, we had the entire floor (and foods!)

This was the only reason I chose to splash out on such an expensive hotel.

but it was pretty expensive (> $20/glass).

It cost around 20 RMB and the quality is really bad and my hair got totally wet underneath.

I would have second thought for the price I paid.

The receptionist, theconceige, the catering people pay attention to you and try to respond to your request as soon as possible.

The problem and the reason my rating is low is because of being charged $330.67 in addition to my room charge and upgrade.

The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is I think it would benefit from an all day casual eating place - there is a very small selection of food available from the lobby lounge area, 

they always come on time clean our room with passion.they always greet us everytime they see us , always put a smile  on us all the time.

Thanks to Concierge Mr. Kingsley Guo for very patient with my questions and told me a lot of things in made me easier to get into this culture.

We find the staff at the Concierge are friendly and helpful.. Miss Christina Zhang is an asset to the Hotel.

The staffs are very nice, helpful and well-trained.

Close to main attractions and with the staff help they arrange taxi etc very quick.

The swimmingpool is fantastic, too (you need a bathing cap), and there is always some helpful staff around in case you need something.

All the ladies had great language skills, especially Kristen Gao.

Cannot thank Kristen and her fellow staff enough!

The staff were always friendly and helpful especially Michael Gao.

Food is very good and service is provided by well trained staff.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and found that the water pressure for shower was poor, the wifi slow -

The room was dimly lit, and the bathroom was damp smelling and a little dirty.

However, the bathroom, semi-open, looks and feels improvised.

but the bathroom was small with only a shower cubicle and a wc curiously perched several feet away from the wall.

Also 2 free bottles of water in the bathrooms.

Been there for one night, got the room at the 8th floor, in the so far called executive, there is also a lounge

but kept away from the uses and supervision of the guests and hotel staff respectively, another unfortunate part though is the closure of the executive lounge due to October holidays!

but certainly an international hotel chain like Holiday Inn should lobby for this rules to be relaxed for hotel guests.

There is a Qincheng Park opposite the hotel, and 10 mins walk to a mall with H&M and Sephora. 2.

Location was incredibly convenient, over our 3 nights we only needed a taxi once, there was a beautiful park near by, incredible restaurants near by that are open late and you can get an amazing meal for less than $7!

There is also a huge park across the road where you will see line dancing and also dancing with swords and fans.

Convenient location, easy to walk downtown, visit the park, shop, eat.

The location was good for us - right across the street from The People's Park, where we spent several hours, and stores nearby.

She hotel was very nice, the room was clean and spacious, with complimentary water and even an air humidifier.
