The air conditioner in our room would only run for 10 minutes and shut off.

The airconditioning in the corridors is set on such a low temperature that it is like walking in a fridge.

I sleep with the room fan on low and heard no noise.

It felt really odd walking past it as it blew on your head.

Cons - thermostat didn't work will and the room was quite hot, pool was cold.

Hot tub was broken and the pool was freezing so the kids were disappointed.

we had a view of a wall and an industrial unit.

The 'low' fan just seems really, really high.

but make sure the room you get is not near the make up air unit.

You'll have to call the front desk to ask them to configure the unit in continuos ventilation mode or.

However, in the middle of the night on both nights, the A/C unit on "fan" would shut off for no reason, causing the room to get very warm (on a cool night) and waking me up.

My only comment was the heating fan ran all night - our only choice would have been to shut it off completely.

I've stayed in a lot of rooms where it was either scorching, or freezing - it's no good when you're too hot or cold.

Holiday inn Express obviously understands that having an accessible room is not just installing a grab bar.

That same morning there was a funky smell coming from the HVAC that could be described as well used hockey gear.

The only thing I could complain about is that the AC was noisy and the room door was not sound proof.

Room was very clean, pillows were excellent, large screen TV, and the continental breakfast was excellent.

We all love hot turkey sausages and hot pancake.

Breakfast and the lady who serve breakfast went above beyond to serve us and other customers.

Breakfast was included and set us up for the day.

The breakfast buffet was minimal and cold foods.

The breakfast was excellent and the dining area was spacious.

Pool was excellent for the kids, and the rooms were spacious

The breakfast was a bit unorganized

We didn’t partake of the complimentary breakfast.

The complimentary breakfast was great, the portion was enough to last us through the morning hikes.

Many hotels are doing a grab and go breakfast instead,

But the breakfast will still be the same industrial swill.

but quite dark Breakfast was included which was very good No safe in rooms  Beds very comfortable We had a microwave with plates and cutlery I found this very good.

Breakfast was above average with omelets, sausage, bacon, bagels, freshly made cinnamon rolls, cereals, yogurts, etc.

except for a coffee bar and the cinnamon buns which were in the large dining area.

Usual offerings with good coffee and warm cinnamon buns.

The cinnamon buns at breakfast were delicious and so were the pancakes.

Most important thing you need to know is FRESH BAKED CINNAMON BUNS (kept warm under a heating lamp for your culinary pleasure)!!!!!

Also had cereals, a pancake maker, cinnamon rolls, English muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, coffee and juices.

Breakfast is included with your stay - juice, coffee, toast, muffins, eggs, bacon, waffles, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, fruit.

It was tidy, clean and the bed was great.

The hotels is clean and the rooms are very comfortable and provide everything that was required.

Our room was very clean, had all working equipment, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the breakfast had hot food and plenty of it.

New, clean, friendly staff, & easy check in.

The whole hotel seemed very clean and well maintained  .

Otherwise it was clean , the king bed comfy and everything worked well.

The hotel is a newer one and is extremely clean and well maintained.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable and it is a great option if you are in the Hinton area.

My third floor (2 queens) room was very nice, clean and modern.

Beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet and it was easy to get a booking at a reasonable rate.

My daughter did say the hide a bed wasn’t very comfy this time.

The room was comfortable as well as the bed.

We were originally booked into a family suite which is located on the lower level, which is fine.

We had a family suite as there were 6 of us.

Nice room - it was a family suite in the basement.

There is something called a family suite in the basement at the hotel.

We stayed last minute and booked the last family suite available.

..It has everything going for it: huge rooms ( the only thing you need to remember is bring a foamy for the fold out couch beds as there are two singles in the family suite

They was an odor in the hallways that was like wet clothes smell.

One thing that really messed our stay was the noise which was coming from the corridors and from the room above us.

We also encountered cleaning staff in the hallways every day with their masks off around their chins, at a time when a provincial mask mandate was in place.

We used a family room in the basement and found the hallways there to be quite cold.

however the noise  coming from the hallway and room above ruined any chance of a peaceful stay.

We experienced a constant turmoil in the hallways and in the lobby that while not really bothersome was at least a little disquieting.

The room we were put in was located at the end of the hallway on the main floor..there was mud all over the hallway floors and garbage was overflowing from the garbage bin by the door..I suspect it was because of all the oilfield workers staying there

The halls can be a bit loud thanks to shift change with the oil field guys

Between the howling dog and the loud men who were presumably practicing their bowling skills in the hallway at 2 am to the loud banging, shouting and cursing across the hall for someone wake the **** up and open the door at 5am I barely slept.

We could hear everyone talking as they passed in the hallway.

The hallway to get to the room from the elevator in the basement was extremely loud from the noise of all the hotel systems.

I was disappointed with the mud all over the parking lot from guests' vehicles, and the dirt that was tracked into the lobby, hallways, elevator, etc, and wasn't cleaned up.

So the place was near full, and you could hear people in the hallway, and people walking in the room above us.

The water slide, pool, and hot tub were big hits with our grandchildren.

I've been in a lot of hot tubs as I like to go to pools often, and it was the same both times that we stayed.

We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the waterside, albeit short, was zippy and had my heart pumping.

Make sure you stop by there pool and go in the hot tub and try out there waterside.

There is a pool with a waterslide, a sauna, a hot tub, Breakfast buffet (with half decent food, similar to a European breakfast), and also a workout room.

It also has a sauna as well as a hot tub.

The hotel is about two years old, very clean with pillows that I wanted to take home with me, pool with slide, hot tub AND sauna.

The room was a suite and it was excellent.

Room was large and fit for more than 7 people wow.

They were working in there in the laundry room at the time.

The hotel looked new, and so was the room.

There was lots of room in either of the two rooms for a table where you could eat at.

In the end, the two adjoining standard rooms were acceptable

The room was half again as large as a standard room with a jetted tub in the room and a great layout.

The room had a nice mini fridge and microwave and looked recently renovated.

The hotel was very accommodating in changing our reservation to one night.

Check-in team were great and very friendly.

Perfect hotel, the staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful.

The hotel and staff were terrific and exceeded all expectations.

Quite a few times there was no-one at the desk.

Staff was excellent from the moment I entered to departure.

However, with staff running things in such a clandestine manner, one leaves the hotel feeling slighted at best.

Even after arriving with only 20 minutes left for breakfast, we were pleasantly surprised with the excellent variety, the full trays of hot food, delightful presentation and smiling staff.

The bathroom was old, probably was as clean as it could have been

Only later when I got up to walk to the bathroom that I noticed that the rug under the desk and into the room was very wet.

The first issue upon minutes if our arrival the drain was clogged after I rinsed my daughter's feet ( from being barefoot on carpet GROSS it felt like it had years of layers of dirt baked on) front desk got someone to come within 15 mins he basically cleaned out clump hair that was stuck!

Poor service, no toiletries provided upfront unless you asked for every single item.

The carpet was stained and bathroom looking really tired.

Only wierd thing was the sink was in the main room not the bathroom.

Also, that door required a LOT of pressure to get it to latch.

Our room smelled musty, and we quickly discovered a huge wet spot on the floor by the sink.

The layout has the sink outside the bathroom with no towel access without going back into the toilet area to dry hands.

I walked in and paid $184 for a two bedroom suite aka a dump coming from 1960s with perfectly creaking floors, stinky carpets and run down washroom.

but the bathroom was odd, as the shower and toilet were in the bathroom - but the sink was in the main room.

The room was small with a postage stamp size bath room.

but the shower drained very slowly and the bathroom counter was small.

For the price I expected much better amenities.

but the main one would be the tiny bathrooms (and when I say tiny I mean TINY).

Walking, running the shower, toilet, tv, everything!

We could hear our neighbours open/close the door, flush the toilet and use the shower etc.

The floors creaked, I kept my sandals on as the carpet looked a bit grungy, the fan in the bathroom was rusted and howled when turned on and the plumbing needs a good snaking as everything was slow to drain!

The layout of the room is also a bit weird and cramped washroom.

Room was clean, staff friendly and helpful, we opted for the included breakfast, well worth the price,  The.

the reason why I put it 3 stars is because the room was clean, large and functional.

Clean decent rooms,  pool and hot tub, on site laundry facility, restaurant and pub.

It was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable.

What can I say, no mention anywhere in website that there is no elevator, tiny little staircases so if you have a family I’d avoid at all costs.

The hotel has no elevators and you need to carry the luggage upstairs, that would be OK in the old days.

Check in was easy, one thing to note is there is no elevator.

I cannot remember the last time I stayed in a hotel that lacked an elevator!

It is an converted older building with no elevators, and long thin winding hallways.

There was no lift so we had to lug our bags up to the 1st (2nd floor if from the US) floor.

The hotel has no elevator (granted it has only two floors).

This room was situated next door to guest laundry and beside stairs with outdoor exit (no elevator).

Beware though, this is a two story hotel and there is no elevator!

When the front desk my mother had difficulty to climb stairs ( there's no elevator in this hotel), they changed my room to the first floor.

This is a very basic, older Holiday Inn with a poor restaurant/ lounge, no elevator and tired rooms.

There is no elevator there and we were staying in the 1st floor

but I was surprised that there was no elevator so my husband had to carry our luggage up the stairs.

No elevator, so book a ground floor level if your not up to stairs.

However when I realized there was no elevator, & they saw I use a cane, the staff changed us from a 2nd floor to room 119.

Ok, what hotel does not have an elevator?

The staff was friendly and let me park my motorcycle near the entrance.

All staff are super friendly especially to all the Filipinos staff.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, specially the restaurant food is surprisingly good and server Shella is very good.

One redemption was the Bar I found the ladies in there to be efficient and friendly and as I say the room was fine -

She was very helpful funny and friendly, a definite asset to this hotel!

The Front office/Reception Manager was a really great and friendly guy to whom we all took a liking immediately.

Good choice for breakfast served by friendly an efficient staff.

but the Hot tub was always out of service.

my kids love the pool, hot tub and i love the food at the restaurant!!

I really enjoyed their great food the pool,sauna,and hot tub.

The pool with slide and hot tub and steam room is great for adults and kids.

Our 13 year old enjoyed the pool and my wife appreciated the hot tub.

Our last stay was on Nov 25th and we stayed to celebrate my Birthday and relax in the pool and hot tub.

There is also a small hot-tub and a sauna in the area.

The kids had a great time with their indoor pool with a giant slide while my husband enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.

The hotel has a large pool with a water slide, sauna and and a hot tub which was awesome!.

Everything was in great working order and the kids couldn't get enough of the slide and hot tub.

Every year for last 4 years my Husband reserves a room here for us for my Birthday and it's awesome because they allow us to check in early so that we can enjoy the pool/hot tub during the day when it's quiet.

Pool and hot tub were nice after the drive.

My husband and I also stay in a room here several times a year, to have some relaxation and enjoy the pool/hot tub and that's exactly what you can do, the room is always clean and fresh smelling and the pool area is very fun as well.

It is a good hour drive to anywhere in Jasper.

Jasper is about  2 hours drive from Hinton.

We arrived very late after driving by Jasper.

Stayed here while visiting Jasper National Park, which is a bit of a drive (about an hour drive to the town of Jasper inside the park) 

The living room area was a nice spot to relax after our long drive.
