We got the bus into town on a couple of days, and spent the rest of our time by the pool or beach.

but not sure we would have one again as the pool area and beach were great so hardly spent anytime in our room!

Yes the power station is quite prominent on the beach

The hotel is right on the beach so the views are also great.

The dogs and cats at the hotel and on the surrounding beaches absolutely made our week.

There are plenty of sun beds by the pool and on the beach, you can reserve and the beach ones are free too,

Power station - You may read a lot of comments on here regarding the power station, for us it really was not an issue and you would have to go out of your way to notice it on the beach as not in eye sight.

The cleaners did amazingly well to clean up the sand which we inevitably brought back from the beach despite our best efforts!

Our room was amazing; views over pool and beach and always cleaned to super high standard!

The beach was extremely rocky and hard to walk on,

We did the jet-ski’s on the beach behind the hotel.

but  our floor never seemed to be mopped and was very sticky but other aspects she was good 

We then proceed to check the grounds which In the dark looked beautiful.

The hotel was clean and we had no issues with anything.

The hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly.

The 2nd wasnt great if im honest, didnt catch her name also just know she had ginger hair.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and the gardens are beautiful.

There are some lovely bar areas to sit out and the bar staff are lovely, 

The pool area is very clean and plenty of beds.

The room was immaculate, bedding changed every 2 days if you wanted and towels changed as you wanted them, the view of the pool and sea was gorgeous.

The rooms are spotless lots of hanging space and drawers,lots of plugs sockets, the towels were changed everyday and linen twice in our 7 day stay.

It’s an incredibly clean and well maintained hotel; everywhere you look is perfect, beautiful flowers everywhere too!

The pool was clean and there was plenty of loungers to go around!

All of the staff we spoke to were lovely and helpful, the hotel was kept tidy and clean and for the price we paid we cannot complain.

Great Hotel , I'm not sure why people write negative comments , lovely and clean , hardworking, friendly staff .

Rooms are all very nice and clean swimming pools are beautiful and the beach is beautiful too.

All in all a great holiday and made some great memories here that we’ll always keep close to our hearts.

Just got back from a lovely holiday at the Akti Zeus.

The food and drink was very good throughout the holiday.

Highlight of our holiday most incredible day out,  highly reccomend and it gives you a insight into how gorgeous crete is and how horrendous the hotels location is.

but it's a holiday and people were enjoying themselves so all is good with me.

What an amazing holiday, my first time going all inclusive so wasn't sure what to expect.

but efcharistó to everyone who made our holiday such a great break!

All in all though, love Greece, loved the holiday.

You don’t even notice it, you can’t smell the ‘toxic fumes’ people complain about and it doesn’t ruin the atmosphere or your holiday.

Despite all the above we made the most of our holiday and had a good time

Would recommend this hotel to any family looking for a relaxing beach break.

Overall we had an absolute great time here and we would like to thank Atlantic Atki Zeus for a perfect holiday.

however ,The food in the restraunt is poor, i can honestly say ive been to lot of AL and travelled a fair bit, this is by far the worst food ive had, we had raw chicken which we informed the staff, they were horrified and apilodlgetic,we let the Tui rep know incase anyone became ill. My partner and i got diffrent chicken so it wasnt isolated.

Highly recommended to all, adult entertainment is a little poor

It was quite poor overall and again very little interaction with people round the pool area.

Sort of economic peapole coming to this place make stay really poor.

The all inclusive is poor, especially with the drinks unless you want to pay “more” money to get a better drink which goes against an all inclusive package.

Entertainment is poor, costumes, dancing , kids disco all lack effort and input from TUI.

although saying that I thought the entertainment was poor so we didn't miss out.

Other than swapping rooms  the staff offer no solution which leaves the next poor family to be constantly disturbed.

has very poor people skills and really needs to think about the manner in which she speaks to people.

I want to start this review by saying I have never left a poor review of anywhere as it takes a lot for me to hate somewhere that much .

Ignore any poor reviews especially regarding the power station this has no effect on the hotel at all.. it tells you about it when you book it therefore shouldn’t be surprise when you arrive.

Check in was poor and didn’t have a cot available on arrival, no drinks available.

The drinks at this hotel are poor.

Our air-conditioning was very poor, I'm not sure if this was just our room or was the same throughout all rooms

The food was great; lots of variety, all freshly made.

Hotel room service was every day, can't fault any part of the hotel food choice was huge and food for any taste

(Particular mention to the lady with the bin who stands at the entrance of the restaurant - we all said how we missed her smiley hello on her day off!)

The food is out of this world, everything you can think of.

The food was amazing, big choice for everyone, staff were all lovely and friendly and went above and beyond to help in anyway they could.

We them sat down to get a drink went to the bar to be greated by the wonderful Stefanos who explained the drink menu etc made us a fabulous cocktail after that we went to bed as we where shattered.

Food is nice with different specialties each night I.e Mexican, Spanish 
Rooms are spacious and staff very accommodating.

This could be on the terrace of the Italian restaurant which is only open 3 times a week.

Pros
- The all inclusive buffet had tonnes of choice and really tasty food, even at breakfast which can be quite repetitive usually.

Greek Restaurant which doubles as the Snack Bar is just ok. Food not so good and nil atmosphere.

The food is nice, always something to choose from,

but the food was great - we've never seen so many desserts.

The food was of a restaurant quality and was different everyday.

The hotel itself is  really clean, spacious and has some lovely bar areas scattered about, the grounds are very pretty, the tables in the restaurant over looking the beach are beautiful,  reccomend early morning brkfast here,

All I can say, from my experience, is that the food was lovely, the drinks were flowing, the weather was great and the staff and other hotel users were absolutely wonderful.

The food was fantastic, always fresh and plenty of selection , which changed daily which was nice.

but the hotel staff kindly left some food and drink in our room; we were checked in and welcomed and given a lovely room, with a separate section for our child by a kind gentleman.

We had a swim up room which sadly was in the shade all day long

The hotel rooms were so clean, cleaned daily.

Rooms were cleaned everyday, beds were comfy .

Finally checked in  915pm by the lovely short haired lady which explained the process of the hotel, we then has to rush to our room to put cases in so we could get to the food hall before 930pm not convenient

AI is great, the rooms are cleaned every single day, towels and sunbeds available.

There's only so much you can do in a conference room
- There are stray dogs roaming around.

Room 226 perfectly overlooked the pool and sea.

There are absolutely no drinks in the room fridge, which I’m not used to for any hotel.

The rooms are bright and well maintained.

The rooms are modern and bright and with lots of space to put your clothes.

we asked if we could move, which they advised we could pay for a swim up room 60 euros a day or move 4 nights in to our holiday so we decided to just stay, the room was cleaned throughly everyday and the bed is super comfy.

We had a late check in and were greated with a snack and water in the room which was really nice after a delayed flight.

The nighttime entertainment was a massive let down, the entertainment team host it in the ‘conference room’ which in the evening with low budget entertainment felt a lot like sitting in a miners welfare club - so we avoided that!

I would say, if you enjoy a great balcony view and are bothered about imperfections then these rooms are not for you.

The evening entertainment was brilliant, especially the man on the piano; got us up dancing to some classics.

Entertainment was ok slightly caravan park type except for the lady singing on legends night who was really good.

but that looked well looked after too
- The entertainment team did a fab job with the kids disco, everyone loved it
- The archway with the flowers is beautiful
- Really close to the airport - don't bother with the Tui transfer just grab a taxi, you'll be there in 15 mins!

The entertainment crew are young kids who are keen and encouraging.

Entertainment team tried very hard on a low budget and always had smiles on their faces, they are a credit to the hotel.

The entertainment in the outside bar was ok,

We never ventured up to the evening entertainment bit there was always something going on.

if u want to experience santirini this trio is great gives you 6 hrs on the island, i wouldn't say its value for money and its a tad chaotic

Had some wonderful entertainment, particularly loved the singers who are booked In.

The entertainment team were lovely, the sea was great with big waves to jump in (I'd recommend purchasing some sea shoes as there's some big rocks in the sea) and the pool was always kept clean.

Think my 6yo boy has a crush on Skyla, insisted on going to the mini disco, think he fancied his chances!

although the sound did cut out on some of there shows in the evening.

Entertainment in the bar was relaxing and enjoyable.

The evening entertainment was good if you could get  a seat in the tiny 80s style conference room which was extremely hard to do.

The evening entertainment was quit interesting.

The evening entertainment was very very amateurish and always running late.

The pool has a lively feel, with plenty of things to do offered by the hard working entertainment team and friendly spa staff.

but the carpets in the corridor could do with an update, they were splattered in bleach stains.

My wife hit her chin on my sons head causing a nasty cut that required 5 stitches.

Only down side is that the slush wasn't included (€3 )

The power plant, I don't get peoples complaints with it, you have to go out of your way to look at it, even in the sea it doesn't really catch your eye and even if it does its not even that bad, didn't smell it either.

We could not smell the power station so really did not cause any issues.

Ignore the comments re: power station, it’s not that close and didn’t smell or bother us.

but we were not aware of how big it was and how much you could smell the smoke most evenings.

but I honestly can’t see why it’s a problem, we never looked at it a thought anything about it we never smelt anything from it and it’s really not that much of an eye sore.

right next to the active power station that was  smoking all day leaving horrible smell in the air.

Btw there is a small power station next door - the pictures look far worse than it is - you can barely see it unless you’re in the top bar and can smell it or anything.

Bath and balcony really bad smell from drain.

Really disappointed when we arrived as I live on a main road I was not happy as my room faced the main road and the power station , con-try to other reviews I could smell the power station and sitting around the pool you could see black smoke coming out followed by yellow smoke .I asked to change my room

but did not impact on our holiday as not smelly or noisy as others have suggested.

Negatives
- The power station is ugly, occasionally smelly and almost guaranteed to be expelling something into the sea at the hotel's beach.

I think I noticed it twice in the 10 days we was there and smelt it once when the wind blew a certain way, the smell didn’t stay….

The carpets in the corridors are filthy and the rooms need some TLC.

The only other negative was that smoking was permitted throughout the outdoor spaces around the pool and the cafe which was frustrating with children.

We were greeted every day at meal-times by the lovely Sofia.

Absolutely brilliant staff team, Maria the events manager was superb for my nieces wedding, Maria pool bar excellent, nikos and Stefanos all brilliant as we're all the staff.

The best thing about this hotel is most definitely the staff.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so friendly, especially Maria on the beach bar, after 2 days she remembered my order and drinks were poured when she saw me; always serving them with a little dance.

The biggest treasure of this hotel is staff, very firendly, openhearted, tolerant, hard-working people with always sincere smile on their faces.

My husband also lost his wedding ring in the swimming pool and felt that reception didn’t really want to help him and didn’t seem to understand the importance to him.

All bars are great, drinks in ample supply and bar staff helpful and efficient.

but the response was so abrupt it was unnecessary.

My 2 children went down the water slide and then the lady supervising the ride told my wife it was safe to go.

Wonderful holiday the hotel is beautiful and the team around the hotel are so accommodating and friendly.

It's a beautiful place and the staff are fantastic.

but were blown away by the friendliness of the staff.

Maria the rep is lovely and incredibly enthusiastic about crete!

Enjoyed an hour or so each day in the water park.

Water park is super fun and worth a visit our daughter loved it and so did we 

All of the bar staff where fantastic and made our stay laughing and joking.

We had no issues with the water park and felt the life guards were really ‘on’ safety.

We paid extra for a rollaway bed which meant our daughter had a proper bed rather than a sofa bed, so would recommend that
- Our room was nice and quiet and the evening entertainment finished at about 11 so no issues on that front 
- The water park had two kiddy zones and adult flumes - can easily spend 2/3 hours there which is great
- Lots to do, we only left the hotel twice.

We had a great afternoon at the water park.

Loved the water sports (hiring jet skis) and water park on sight!

The water park was great for my daughter and never to busy.

We had a great 2  weeks here kids loved the water park food was excellent was a bit worried before we came as read a lot about the power station don’t know what all the fuss was about you have to really look to see the towers from inside the hotel would definitely stay again

The water park was never over crowded, was such a bonus that there aren’t any queues at all and my toddler really liked the ‘non splashy’ little slides at the back.

The walk down private beach area is perfect and the water park feature for the kids a great addition.

but the water park was great fun we went everyday.

I wish we could give them all a tip…Great for families and the water park is a super addition to break the day up.

The breakfast was exceptional - self serve style with a wonderful choice of hot and cold items .We had a light bite at Vetri outside overlooking the pool and waterfall - both the food and service were great .What more to say ?

Staff were friendly and helpful, pool was spacious, and breakfast was plentiful.

Breakfast buffet had the usual selection of fruit, cereal, hot and cold foods.

The breakfast is great with lots of options.

Delicious breakfast and great choice too.

The breakfast was delicious and has so much variety you are truly spoilt for choice (the fresh honeycomb was really a really nice touch!).

It was especially nice to enjoy breakfast outdoors by the sparkling pool.

From the moment we checked in to check out we were so very impressed by 
everything and everyone at this property .The location was very great for us as we like to walk - the town center was 10-15 mins .The airport was 15 mins ( car) .Eventhough the hotel is located in the city it felt as

But the no 2 or no 20 bus stopped outside for the centre, and the stop for knossos was less than five minutes away.

Great stay, 10 minute walk from the main city center.

This is an excelent hotel no more than 10 min walking to city centre.

Lot of restaurants in the area and City center is also 5 mins away.

A beautiful,  city centre and very well run hotel.

The hotel is not far from Heraklion center,

close to city center, bars restaurants etc.

We found restaurants near and away from the center by the fountain that were all wonderful.

The city center is a mere 10 min walk while u can access the highway in a couple of minutes.

The hotel is a ten to fifteen minute walk from the centre of Heraklion or a short cheap taxi ride!

The city center is about 10-15min away by foot.

When we were done, we bought bus tickets as they had explained to us and went to the city center to see the Archeological museum.

though we were at a resort - with beautiful outdoor amenities Ie pool ,lounge area and restaurant.
