The room was warm on our arrival, and had everything we needed for our stay including fluffy towels to take to the hot pools.

Offered us towels for the pools even after we checked out which was very helpful and great local knowledge.

Motel provides pool towels for the hot springs which is about a 3-4minute walk away aswell as complimentary laundry facilities.

We arrived early and the helpful check in meant everyone was happy for our car to stay in the motel car park and we were given towels to use in the pools.

There are free DVDs, free towels for the pools, free washers and dryers and free portable barbecues.

Rooms were warm and cosy, DVD's a hit and pools towels great.

Liked the use of their towels for the pools, great idea.

although if anything the room was a bit small.

We stayed in a studio room which was quite small.

Was greeted in the morning by name which made me feel very special.

Stayed at this place more than eight years ago – and beds are still very uncomfortable!

The beds, linen and chairs are uncomfortable, old and need replacing!

An uncomfortable slat bed, never experienced in a motel before, only blue top milk available, and not cheap for what is an older style motel.

but our cabin was way over  priced and very dated and cold.

And we surely didn't feel cold in your new units.

but was so cold I could not sleep , I explained I needed it to be on for 10 mins only then once in bed all would be ok , as the  and Family Heakthcare Consultant of NZ I certainly would not intentionally keep any child awake .The coke Machine was whirring all night and the Tumbke drier with metal clanging was on for 3 hours but as these are charged for they are never turned off .The manager was terribly rude about my disability and Top Ten are investigating , I have been advised since that the ALPiNe adventure holiday park is much better and would have looked after me superbly .

Heat pump in the room & electric blankets meant we felt toasty warm in a cold snap.

Toilet and shower block were lovely and with three bar radiators wall mounted above the cubicles meant you didn't get cold no matter the time of day or the weather.

It was a little cold in the shower block and they could do with some form of heating.

The only negative comment is in relation to the toilet and showerblock - need some maintenance, very cold and very damp - need to improve heating and ventilation in the winter months

The bathroom was cold and cubicles very small, something that may have been acceptable 30yrs ago

We use lots of top tens and this is the.most expensive and the most basic missing g locked on toilet door no heating in toilet and shower blocks so cold you can't have a shower without freezing.

Nonetheless it was a very cold night during our stay

however the older chap who checked us out was a little cold.

The amenities block was not heated which is a shame on cold days and it is a bit dated

despite booking in over the phone and told check in time was 1pm it was 3.30pm before we were able to enter our room as it wasn't cleaned yet, I found the owners to be most unsympathetic to our needs on a cold raining day.

Reception friendly and stocked with essentials.

Check in was very friendly with plenty of guidance and they put us on a powered grass plot with plenty of space to practice reversing our 6 birth Maui Camper.

Well kept gardens and quality pizza ovens added to our enjoyment.

We had a Kitchen Cabin; big size, everything there that You would use for cooking etc with kids.

There is a pizza oven by the play area and lots of seating great for groups.

We had a kitchen cabin, and while by the entrance and near the main road, we were surrounded by shrubs, so felt it was just ours!

Great amenities even piza ovens with utensils for bbqing.

There were many extras, with a great  BBQ and pizza oven area.

Playground, bbq, pizza oven and more cool things to have a perfect time outside and in town.

Would highly recommend the hot tubs, and the pizza ovens.

The bathrooms and communal kitchen are always spotless and great wifi.

The pizza oven is a great idea and everyone is so friendly.

The bedrooms were seperate from the lounge and kitchen.

It was also close to one of the kitchens and the hot tubs (didn't use the hot tubs).

Great clean toilets and showers and the kitchen was also perfect to eat breakfast in.

There was a kids playground, trikes, jumping pillow, hot tubs, bbq's, pizza ovens plus so much more.

The park was well set out, quiet and with beautiful scenery.

Lovely park, our unpowered site was great, nice lawned site, gravel roads so not too dusty.

We stayed overnight to attend the Hanmer Springs Fete and had a trailer so this large park was perfect for our needs.

The Park is without a doubt a great place to stay when in Hanmer Springs.

The park felt really safe meaning we did not have any problems with our kids going around on their scooters and playing in the playground.

The Hanmer Springs top 10 is one of our favourite Holiday Parks.

The Top 10 park was fine just like all the others we stayed at during our 10 day Southern campervan trip.

The powered camp site each had their own water tap and the park is located next door to minigolf which was very handy.

For us campervan virgins (this trip has been our first) this park was just perfect.

No complaints, this was our second time staying and the staff are friendly and helpful, very clean facilities and tidy park all round.

The  attention to detail throughout the park is awesome.

Hanmer Springs is a very nice destination, the hot pools always a treat.

Had a walk in the forest and went to the hot pools which were too expensive.

Enjoyed the pools, several times,  Village Bakery, shopping and a walk around the cemetery.

Enjoyed the hot tubs and would highly recommend them as great value as a couple if you're happy to have a day away from the Hanmer Pools.

The Hanmer Springs Top 10 Holiday Park was affordable, close to town, close to the forest walks, great facilities and managed by great staff.

Beautiful toilet and bathroom facilities, very welcoming reception staff who tended to other guests needs quickly and, in my opinion, went above and beyond to make sure they were happy.

The rooms were modern, very well equiped, and very convenient to the town center.

We were near to a small shopping centre with very good bakery - so popular you need to watch for queues.

Rae went out of her way to ensure our stay was all we hoped for with our package deal after needing to change our dates three times due to covid levels.

Due to a change of plans we ended up having 2 nights here after our original one night stay booking - SO pleased we had the 2 nights as it really is a very special place.

but due to multiple road closures we detoured and booked a room last minute.

If I was to be very picky about something to improve our lovely experience, maybe time for some new towels as the current ones have taken on a slightly grey tone due to use and maybe slightly bigger towels would be nice for those that are also on the taller side!

After being advised by his doctor for some immediate time out due to exhaustion, my husband, and I, busily looked online, found The St James and hurriedly took off from Christchurch.

We only stayed in Hanmer Springs for one night due to a tight travelling schedule

but due to flight cancellations we turned up at the last minute.
