The room was warm on our arrival, and had everything we needed for our stay including fluffy towels to take to the hot pools.

The King bed was very comfortable and pool towels were supplied each day for Hanmer Springs Pools which are just round the corner.

Offered us towels for the pools even after we checked out which was very helpful and great local knowledge.

Motel provides pool towels for the hot springs which is about a 3-4minute walk away aswell as complimentary laundry facilities.

We arrived early and the helpful check in meant everyone was happy for our car to stay in the motel car park and we were given towels to use in the pools.

There are free DVDs, free towels for the pools, free washers and dryers and free portable barbecues.

Rooms were warm and cosy, DVD's a hit and pools towels great.

Liked the use of their towels for the pools, great idea.

And the hosts come to personally check if all is ok with the room.

The room was lovely, compact and with everything we could reasonably require for a 3 night stay where we would be doing some self catering.

but if you didn't feel like going out you could heat something easy to have in your room.

We wanted a quick get away from the city so wizzed up to Hanmer with the campervan, the park was quiet, clean and we were very impressed with the quality of the new bathrooms (it was nicer than home).

but was so cold I could not sleep , I explained I needed it to be on for 10 mins only then once in bed all would be ok , as the  and Family Heakthcare Consultant of NZ I certainly would not intentionally keep any child awake .The coke Machine was whirring all night and the Tumbke drier with metal clanging was on for 3 hours but as these are charged for they are never turned off .The manager was terribly rude about my disability and Top Ten are investigating , I have been advised since that the ALPiNe adventure holiday park is much better and would have looked after me superbly .

Heat pump in the room & electric blankets meant we felt toasty warm in a cold snap.

Toilet and shower block were lovely and with three bar radiators wall mounted above the cubicles meant you didn't get cold no matter the time of day or the weather.

It was a little cold in the shower block and they could do with some form of heating.

The only negative comment is in relation to the toilet and showerblock - need some maintenance, very cold and very damp - need to improve heating and ventilation in the winter months

The bathroom was cold and cubicles very small, something that may have been acceptable 30yrs ago

We use lots of top tens and this is the.most expensive and the most basic missing g locked on toilet door no heating in toilet and shower blocks so cold you can't have a shower without freezing.

Nonetheless it was a very cold night during our stay

however the older chap who checked us out was a little cold.

The amenities block was not heated which is a shame on cold days and it is a bit dated

despite booking in over the phone and told check in time was 1pm it was 3.30pm before we were able to enter our room as it wasn't cleaned yet, I found the owners to be most unsympathetic to our needs on a cold raining day.

This stay exceeded our expectations both for the quality of the accommodation and the facilities for children to play.

Staff were amazing and even all the other guests seem to be so much more friendly and happier than other places we have stayed.

Well kept gardens and quality pizza ovens added to our enjoyment.

We had a Kitchen Cabin; big size, everything there that You would use for cooking etc with kids.

There is a pizza oven by the play area and lots of seating great for groups.

We had a kitchen cabin, and while by the entrance and near the main road, we were surrounded by shrubs, so felt it was just ours!

Great amenities even piza ovens with utensils for bbqing.

There were many extras, with a great  BBQ and pizza oven area.

Playground, bbq, pizza oven and more cool things to have a perfect time outside and in town.

Would highly recommend the hot tubs, and the pizza ovens.

The bathrooms and communal kitchen are always spotless and great wifi.

The pizza oven is a great idea and everyone is so friendly.

The bedrooms were seperate from the lounge and kitchen.
