They were so friendly and hardworking and served with professionalism and character.

Amazing vacation here, beautiful hotel and very friendly and extremely helpful staff particularly the hotel manager who was a great help with any questions or queries we had.

The three names that spring to mind were Despina at guest relations and Vangelis who greeted us every morning and evening at breakfast and gave us recommendations for the area. Niko’s our friendly bald waiter (there was more than one Niko!)

She was always friendly and keen to assist.

The staff in the restaurant and all over the resort were amazing and very helpful and friendly.

It’s also worth noting that other poor reviews for this hotel have the exact same complaints as me.

They have absolutely poor customer service and could not provide us a cab or a safe way back to the hotel after a night out we were left stranded and one of us was really sick, we were then given a lift by the owner of the bar back to the hotel.

- The cocktails are poor for a 5 star hotel and cost €10-€15 each, which is okay

In my opinion it loses a star because: 
- no dressing gowns in the room 
- the shower had poor pressure, and poor temperature control 
- the rooms are lovely

but this is a poor quality hotel masquerading as a something better.

but were left disappointed with the prices, poor quality evening meals and what I’d rate as a 3 star room that is massively out of date.

We went on a mount athos ferry trip (waste of money and the journey) 6 hrs journey and 30 minutes visit to the fisherman village (Amoouliani) lunch is very poor .

Greek night was poor and not upbeat at all.

we ordered a 30 euro bottle of wine one evening and the poor server through lack of training/experience broke the cork!

This poor attempt took around an hour and 20 minutes   2 out of 10 and a waste of my time and funds

Very disappointed and I informed the Manager who kindly booked me in again to ensure I was happy 
I don’t intend on repeating this only to save the young lady who did the pedicure the embarrassment

but poor vegetarian options and no halal options so a bit monotonous.

The hygiene standards in the dining room are really poor.

Well we were not looking forward to this trip after reading the terrible reviews of bad food, poor service and out dated hotel.

The only resemblance to a "palace" is that like most palaces these days, it is in a poor state of repair.

Arrived late and cold meal waiting in room; kettle in room which is unusual; bathroom good; linen and towels changed daily; air "cooling" was very poor.

You were greeted with the ever smiling Despina, Vaggelis and Maria at the restaurant reception to Nicco and Renzo who would cater for all your needs in the restaurant.

Adrian and Alex were great and conscientious every day.

I had an email reply from George within 5 minutes reassuring me that all my requests would be met.

Nikos was always friendly and chatty , he was super-efficient and good fun .

The staff were all wonderful, Nikos is our sons new best friend and he kept him entertained at mealtimes, when we tried to sit down for a few minutes.

Amazing stay staffs were nice, food was amazing, rooms were clean very nice place.

Nicos in the main restaurant who was always smiling and hard working.

but with the doors closed you can't hear it.

We were located ground floor right next to the pool bar, you could hardly hear the music at all after 12 if the door was shut.

It is super loud and I'm glad that the kids portion of the room is away from the doors as some nights it was hard to sleep through the noise

We did email when booking the hotel to be in rooms next door to eachother, when arriving this hadn’t been arranged which was annoying.

Our room was at the front of the hotel with a frosted window so you couldn't see outside, small patio chairs outside the door and room towels are provided.

there was a lot of rust and small hole in shower and the door handle kept dropping off, it was shabby in parts

The patio door to the balcony can only open a third of the way before it hits the bed which is fixed and there is a wardrobe at the other side so you have to squeeze through.

however the door separating the rooms was a sliding hatch which means parent activity is non existent (if you know what I mean).

A proper door fixes this problem and also gives more privacy.

Some minor issues such as the shower is handheld, no fixing above your head, the showers doors don’t close properly leaving a slight leak.

Wandering around and would walk into your bedroom if the door was kept open.

There was also a fly screen on the window and on the door though I had to smile as in our room [room 25] the door fly screen had TWO handles on the outside and NO handles on the inside

Dead fly’s stuck to walls, Glass dirty, internal doors dirty, walls generally grubby.

No one eplained anything to us when we arrived so we had to work out the air con and realised that we had to hook over the door request for the maid to clean our room  on the outside door handle.

but this was no good when you were coming back late as the steps down to our apartment door were in darkness and I managed to slip down them as I could not see.

.which is a must for any ladies going.The bathroom door in one of the downstairs rooms had the lock jam and had to be removed near the beginning of the holiday.They had to make a new door,so there was no bathroom door until near the end of our second week,which could have been even more embarrassing if it hadn't have been 2 girls sharing.Anna couldn't apologise enough though.

Also note bathrooms have a frosted door – so no privacy.

Bathroom in junior suite inadequate toilet broke twice whilst we where there,shower door missing.

All the staff are great from the owners to the cleaners, very friendly and helpful.

The owners and staff were incredible with us, especially with my two children and everyone made us feel very welcome, they were so smitten with my 9m/o and Anna wanted pictures with her at the end, 
George, Goofy and Franco were very kind and entertained me and my 6y/o son, 
Nothing is too much trouble for anyone in the hotel, the atmosphere with staff and guests was so friendly and warming, we will be returning to see the many friends we made.

Just returned from a week's stay at this hotel and it was amazing from start to finish,  after a very late arrival we had sandwiches and water in our fridge, Rooms cleaned daily with beds made and fresh towels, pools are amazing..evening entertainment was great fun, all the staff were extremely friendly sad to say goodbye at the end of our hoilday.

We stayed for 2 weeks and loved every minute of it and all of the Staff there are very hardworking and are so polite and friendly they really are a credit to the hotel.

Bar area was great, George and team were wonderful, efficient and extremely friendly.

First to say all of the staff are friendly, dedicated and simply kind.

Food was delicious and varied for all tastes, all of the staff were extremely friendly and professional in their duties , always aiming to please.

There are so many positives about this hotel everyone is very friendly and welcoming, in particular I have to mention Brikena who was lovely and so welcoming always with a smile on her face.

Pool sunbed mattresses in very poor condition , wet through and mouldy and ripped .

There was a poor noise-to-signal ratio problem with the speakers in the P.A.

The housekeeping department so poor, they dont clean the room properly especially the bathroom, or they never clean the bathroom at all.

My apartment was number 42 and was part of the older building, the view was poor as we were over the breakfast plastic roof.

It was two single bed bases pushed together with a very poor quality, mouldy double mattress on top with springs coming through.

but made worse by the poor behaviour of some guests who treat dinner as a free for all and who opt to act like parasites at breakfast so they can take food away to their rooms to cover their lunches rather than buying food.

This could be a really good hotel, if the owners  addressed the poor food.

The food was of a very poor standard bland and not much variation - we found the staff very unfriendly hardly smiled except the young man behind the bar.

but Pedros did encounter a problem with his pool turning green poor man tried everything hope he got it sorted out we had to leave, the children's pool is amazing very large with swings a play house with slides water jets I did have a paddle more than once.

but very poor, only one choice of first course - one type of meat or on type of fish so some days you can be hungry if you don't eat for ex.

Small rooms,very dirty,poor breakfast,no professional service,a lot of insects,cats,towels changed at 4-5 days.Don't mix with Anna Maria Paradise is not the same hotel,beach is at 600-700 meters distance,pool is not clean,WIFI only on reception area.We'll never go back again.

Muddy and slippy grass areas around the pool due to poor drainage from the pool.

During the whole time we were there, we never saw the bins being emptied once and they really did smell.

but was very old and a bit mouldy on the head!

THE BATHROOM is definitely not deluxe with mould above the shower and in grouting, smells coming from shower drain

butt in it but I was told that further along (to the right) it was much cleaner.

however the beach is littered with cigarette ends which let it down.

Very slippery floor and smell of wee or you could use the smallest toilet in the reception.

I personally did not like them as you can smell their cat poo everywhere

but the shower room left a lot to be desired, the shower head was clogged up, the drain didn't drain properly so it filled up and  leaked on the bathroom floor.

We found a packet of cigarettes on our balcony table one day and neither of us smoke.

Wasps galore, when the problem got highlighted 4 days after 1st reported and it fell on deaf ears, when jet2 contacted, hotel manager turned nasty and abusive and showed true colours (he’s happy while your putting money in the till) food was often cold, I had to be moved by jet2 as I no longer felt safe here, on first view hotel looked lovely, sadly it turned into a holiday nightmare, just be careful where you spend your hard earned cash folks.

There was a problem with the large party "falling out " with other nationalities at the pool which did turn nasty.

My only observation would be that perhaps smoking around the pool area could be discouraged or zoned.

Very smoky at meal times no designated no smoking areas.

We often found that when we went to sit out on the balcony, the smell of smoke from neighbouring balconies was overbearing.

Rooms are quite small, bathroom has a bad smell of sewer system.

but they don't think how difficult is to carry the strolley in one hand and the baby in another to get to the room on the first floor and to go down again and repeat it many times during the day; these people don't understand how terrible is to smoke near your baby, moreover they smoke with their own ones nearby.

Even with this being near end of season the staff were so helpful it was surprising to see so many smiles and no problems encountered, very happy we chose this hotel.

We were met at reception by Anna the owner who is lovely and very helpful.

Great value, lovely staff and a lovely hotel, well placed for a great holiday.

The owner Petros Kapouranis just wants his guests to have a great time on their holiday which we did .

The animation team were fab too with aqua zumba and the kids mini disco being a highlight!

All staff at the hotel brilliant and made us feel very welcome and we would definitely love to return, great holiday.

Only one negative is the girl behind main pool bar who I believe is the sons girlfriend could not manage to crack a smile all week ..however from the very happy receptionist… to lovely waitress called something like belkinoni and all other staff spot on .. all so big plus meet some really nice other guests out there ..

2 days into the trip I fell and hurt my foot and the staff were amazing.

All the staff at the pool bar/restaurant are so polite and lovely.

but most of all felt valued and special by all the wonderful staff.

but that didn't stop us swimming every day, you could always get a sunbed so that was a bonus, All the staff are very nice helpful and always there to help, a big shout out to Brikneaka lovely person we miss you.

Drinking glasses weren’t replaced with clean ones, there was a cracked glass left for use for the first few days until I managed to find a member of staff to change it.

For instance, the bathroom was designed as a "wet room"

Nevertheless, service and other amenities should be improwed, since this is 4 star hotel.

The shower design where the glass panel does not reach the floor can result in minor flooding of the bathroom.

Complete with a pungent, damp smell, leaking shower and more dust than my attic.

There were two air conditioners; one was very old and you had to manually turn it on/off and thus climb on a chair to do so, while the other one,

but nothing looks like renovation, the sink is too narrow there is no place to leave your personal belongings.

There is no toilet or handwashing facility on the beach

)note for the management: seatrack may be an option) Unfortunately there no toilet in the beach, disabled or otherwise.

Not clean: mold in the bathroom, stained doors and trash cans, dirty mirror, hair on shelves, dirty floor & musty bedding.

(The maintenance man shrugged as he had no idea what to do to it) The bathroom was DISGUSTING, and had hairs from the previous patron in the sink, and tub walls.

So the shower is fixed lets get on with the holiday, down for Evening meal this is where it gets serious, the food is appalling and barely warm this was the same for our whole stay of our Holiday.

The bathroom was a nightmare with a broken showerhead and moldy tiles.

There is a lift or steps, only grumble is no toilets on the beach,

but these would most likely be the only toilets on the beach.

The rooms smell like mold, there is mold on bathrooms door.

When you have a shower the whole room floods and makes the toilet area very wet and dangerous.

Hotel states all rooms refurbished, this is not correct our room had hole in bathroom door which had a lump of pollyfilla in in, air conditioning didn't work, tired dusty rooms.

The hands-on approach of the friendly General Manager, Dimitri, ensured attention to detail, andwe enjoyed engaging with the staff who were always friendly, helpful and attentive.

but friendly and the manager had a cracking personality getting everyone up on the dance floor on Greek night :-)

A quick cheap one week getaway to halkidiki staying at this hotel , first impressions were friendly staff , clean bedrooms and food exactly what to expect for what we paid which was palatable served by friendly happy staff .

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic beach with crystal clear water, beautiful green hotel area, great taverna Antonis, nice sea view from the room (we enjoyed watching sunrises), helpful and friendly staff with special thanks to Zouriko, Kostadina, and Maria for great service and recommendations.

Food in all facilities is poor quality, basic taste, expensive and also tricky ( i.e hiding one full bread under a cup of 12 euro greek salad to look bigger).

All of this is additionaly paid by guests and the management of the hotel should think about some refurbishing and improwement.

I’ve paid a fraction of the price elsewhere, expected less and received so much more.

Also drinks are very expensive €13 for a bacardi and coke.

Also the drinks are quite expensive around the pool and at the beach bar , however there is an on-site shop which you can stock up on

but would have cost 20 euros there and back each night as there was five in our party .

The hotel is set in well maintained grounds ,clean pol area with a lift down the steep hill or steps to the white sands on the beach .Drinks we found in the beach are a bit overpriced which is to be expected as the hotel is pretty much between two small towns one a 5 euro taxi ride and the other 8 or 9 euros , it is a area which has probably seen better days in the way of tourism and not a Greek island experience if you are expecting that with it being mainland .

If you want to pay upwards of 3- 600 pounds per night, then I guess you will expect a few more thrills,

but there is even a catch to that, you are made to pay €20 per day cheaper the more days you book but never free.

To use the sunbeds and parasol you have to pay 20 euros per day..unless you book 7+ days in a row.then it drops down to 10 euros.

After 10 hours of traveling, we were welcomed with an hour of waiting with small kids on the reception, because the lady on the reception was using calculator to see if everything is paid.

a soft drink with 4-5 euros (in the can) are very expensive.

No Tea or coffee or fruit juice in evening unless you paid extra.

Very unprofessional doesnt come back when he says he will.
