We booked on half board basis and both Breakfast and Dinner was unbelievable.

And we were very happy with the food, Breakfast and Dinner was unbelievable, there was so much choice, chocolate covered doughnuts in the mornings were a hit with our son, and there was so much variety.

We did bed and breakfast and the breakfast buffet was luscious.

I agree with some of the other reviews, buffet breakfast was good

Food buffet is fresh and not bad at all..  there was fruit, cheeses, bread, soup and lots of other hot varieties for vegetarians.

Plenty of choice at breakfast and a great little A-la-carte restaurant for main meals.

The food was also great, plentiful and not repetitive, satisfying every taste.

The food is also amazing..my personal favourite is the Magnolia restaurant where you will find the freshest and most delicious food..the style is Mediterranean.

They could maybe add an extra couple of coffee machines for breakfast time though.

Food is of a very good standard for buffet dining and I never failed to find something tasty to eat.

The quality and vast range of food that caters for all tastes, we enjoy the Greek traditional foods along with processco with breakfast, themed dinner nights and too die for desserts.

So to Vaggelis, Georgia, Despinna and especially to Puriugloris (i hope that is spelled right) who made me an egg free dessert (due to an allergy) every night - thank you!

The jewel in the crown is the quality of the food with a vast range for all tastes every breakfast and dinner with the desserts not only looking amazing

The buffet dinner is very tasty, something that can always be risky when done on mass,

The three names that spring to mind were Despina at guest relations and Vangelis who greeted us every morning and evening at breakfast and gave us recommendations for the area. Niko’s our friendly bald waiter (there was more than one Niko!)

Breakfast choice is great, we paid for half board and used the discount this gives you to use the other two restaurants on-site which are excellent.

Friendliness of all staff second to none,
Excellent choice of food for breakfast and dinner,comfortable bed,immaculate beautiful garden,if you want a peaceful quiet holiday this is it.

Prosecco with breakfast is a welcome treat, il miss that now at home 😉 
Magnolia restaurant is authentic, tasty and a lovely setting.

It’s also worth noting that other poor reviews for this hotel have the exact same complaints as me.

They have absolutely poor customer service and could not provide us a cab or a safe way back to the hotel after a night out we were left stranded and one of us was really sick, we were then given a lift by the owner of the bar back to the hotel.

- The cocktails are poor for a 5 star hotel and cost €10-€15 each, which is okay

In my opinion it loses a star because: 
- no dressing gowns in the room 
- the shower had poor pressure, and poor temperature control 
- the rooms are lovely

but this is a poor quality hotel masquerading as a something better.

but were left disappointed with the prices, poor quality evening meals and what I’d rate as a 3 star room that is massively out of date.

We went on a mount athos ferry trip (waste of money and the journey) 6 hrs journey and 30 minutes visit to the fisherman village (Amoouliani) lunch is very poor .

Greek night was poor and not upbeat at all.

we ordered a 30 euro bottle of wine one evening and the poor server through lack of training/experience broke the cork!

This poor attempt took around an hour and 20 minutes   2 out of 10 and a waste of my time and funds

The only resemblance to a "palace" is that like most palaces these days, it is in a poor state of repair.

Amazing buffet mornings and evenings with breathtaking variety and absolutely delicious dishes in perfect cleanliness and style.

We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts accompanied by live music by a pianist, the selection and taste of the food exceeded our expectations.

The food was fresh and tasty, with many varieties, both at breakfast and dinner too.

I also noticed an exceptional person at the Sommelier's Restaurant and at breakfast, named Eleftheria, whose service made you really feel like you were on vacation.

Even our breakfast experiences were great in the Kritamo buffet area.

The view on the buffet terrace is wonderful.

Helpful and friendly staff, generous buffet, impeccable views, and relaxing atmosphere 😎 will defintely return back and promote this hidden gem in Thessaloniki.

The food in restaurants was delicious and variety, every day !

Buffet in main restaurant was changing every day, variety was very rich and quality progressively improved during our stay.

The buffet at the restaurant is mostly cold.

Kids enjoyed kids club, spa wonderful, tenis with an amazing view, people professional, etc… rooms perfect, breakfast good, etc..
You can find everything that you need.

I recommend going bed and breakfast as the food at all the restaurants is incredible you have to eat outside of the buffet as well.

Italian.. we ate twice.

We thought this was very poor as we had to wait for the next transfer offered and very nearly missed our flight home.

Really slow and poor service, orders takes really long, even for a simple water, tables are not get cleaned if not mentioned etc.

The food was ok - Definitely not 5 star - fairly repetitive and run of the mill, with the buffet restaurant service being poor.

but that’s no excuse for this poor service.

Salad bar is delicious, not enough live cooking stations, food is overcooked and seafood of poor quality.

Every thing you  expect from a  5* hotel,  except the food at the  main restaurant which is very  basic and quite  poor  presented, nothing more than 3* hotel.

The service by the poolside are particularly poor - rude and unhelpful.

The only two things that bothered me was the poor service at the daytime bars - slow and not organized and the quality of the buffet breakfast - water diluted fresh orange juice and too few deserts, cakes etc.

Food was terrible - i've never thought we could get such a poor quality and variety of dishes.

Everything here is at extra cost, and I mean everything.

but last week I paid 6€ for a double espresso.

Drinks are not included in the dinner price though.

We were bed and breakfast and Arte in the buffet restaurant one night and it cost 45 euros per person which I think is ridiculous.

Mind you that may not be so hard as 2 scoops of Ice cream will cost you €7.

We did not use the spa facilities as it cost 50 euros just to enter the spa.

I have to mention why I was pissed off: 260 Eur fee is not splitted between the two ways.

Every thing we see and want to have is apparently with extra charge, this completely ruins the holiday when you just need to pay extras all the time, or say 'no' to your kids and yourself.

Speaking of drinks, the wine list was very expensive, even for a 5 star hotel.

7) The water sports again were very expensive.

We have been 8 adults + 5children and if we want to drink water  with dinner and use there water it will cost 13*3euro= 39 euro per dinner means almost 300euro for our stay only for glass of water during dinner,
Just crazy.

The food is not good at all, the basic products are low quality, like melon , fish, croissant, basically every rough products are low cost.

For instance, the bathroom was designed as a "wet room"

Nevertheless, service and other amenities should be improwed, since this is 4 star hotel.

The shower design where the glass panel does not reach the floor can result in minor flooding of the bathroom.

Complete with a pungent, damp smell, leaking shower and more dust than my attic.

There were two air conditioners; one was very old and you had to manually turn it on/off and thus climb on a chair to do so, while the other one,

but nothing looks like renovation, the sink is too narrow there is no place to leave your personal belongings.

There is no toilet or handwashing facility on the beach

)note for the management: seatrack may be an option) Unfortunately there no toilet in the beach, disabled or otherwise.

Not clean: mold in the bathroom, stained doors and trash cans, dirty mirror, hair on shelves, dirty floor & musty bedding.

(The maintenance man shrugged as he had no idea what to do to it) The bathroom was DISGUSTING, and had hairs from the previous patron in the sink, and tub walls.

So the shower is fixed lets get on with the holiday, down for Evening meal this is where it gets serious, the food is appalling and barely warm this was the same for our whole stay of our Holiday.

The bathroom was a nightmare with a broken showerhead and moldy tiles.

There is a lift or steps, only grumble is no toilets on the beach,

but these would most likely be the only toilets on the beach.

The rooms smell like mold, there is mold on bathrooms door.

When you have a shower the whole room floods and makes the toilet area very wet and dangerous.

Hotel states all rooms refurbished, this is not correct our room had hole in bathroom door which had a lump of pollyfilla in in, air conditioning didn't work, tired dusty rooms.

In the morning you queue for fried eggs to be cooked (not always available) then to bacon queue, rarely fried tomatoes, mushrooms, no hash browns.

Rooms are clean and well maintained ( we had 3 rooms) breakfast and evening meals had lots of options to choose from.

We had breakfast and dinner, I can't tell which was better of the two meals per day.

but it is a doable, pleasant, and scenic gentle uphill walk of 1.5km)
* Try the homemade lemonade at the Casablanca bar ("Happy Hour, All Day")
* Visit Afytos (8km, €10 each way) - a really pretty Greek village with spectacular clifftop sea views and lots of lovely little shops, cafés  and restaurants
* Visit Kassandra Olive Oil ice cream shop that sells the most delicious homemade ice cream

The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious food,

The staff were lovely whether it was at breakfast or the tarverna on site.

Breakfast was ok good choice.not keen on being served prefer to help myself .great pancakes and omletes lovely guy who served each day always polite and friendly.the girl who is greeter who shows you to the table really needs to concentrate on her job rather than look at you then spend 20 mins chatting to other people .we found our own after waiting for a while.

Take a little bacon to feed by hand in the sea yes they really do come to you.

The breakfast was more than adequate with a very large range of food was available.

I must also mention that the menu is excellent, the breakfast is great and so is the dinner, while the beach is spotless and the sea is vermant in color.

Staff were happy and very helpful, loads of choice for breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant.

Buffet meals we good if you like sloppy bacon, pink chicken, watery vegetables.

If you‘re prepared to have onöy breakfast and go for dinner somewhere outside (kriopigi, Afythos) this place is ideal for you!

Beach was really well maintained, as was everywhere around the accommodation. Food was good, with variety every evening, quick tip, omelettes were lovely for Breakfast, there made around the corner though, so don’t miss them (they also do fried eggs in the same place)

Excellent stay, good room 617, perfect view, kind and helpfull employees, breakfast many choices, we would like to come back!

If you lowered the prices a little I'm sure it would be full in the evenings.

Had a late departure so kept our room for another day at a small cost.

Food in all facilities is poor quality, basic taste, expensive and also tricky ( i.e hiding one full bread under a cup of 12 euro greek salad to look bigger).

All of this is additionaly paid by guests and the management of the hotel should think about some refurbishing and improwement.

I’ve paid a fraction of the price elsewhere, expected less and received so much more.

Also drinks are very expensive €13 for a bacardi and coke.

Also the drinks are quite expensive around the pool and at the beach bar , however there is an on-site shop which you can stock up on

but would have cost 20 euros there and back each night as there was five in our party .

The hotel is set in well maintained grounds ,clean pol area with a lift down the steep hill or steps to the white sands on the beach .Drinks we found in the beach are a bit overpriced which is to be expected as the hotel is pretty much between two small towns one a 5 euro taxi ride and the other 8 or 9 euros , it is a area which has probably seen better days in the way of tourism and not a Greek island experience if you are expecting that with it being mainland .

If you want to pay upwards of 3- 600 pounds per night, then I guess you will expect a few more thrills,

but there is even a catch to that, you are made to pay €20 per day cheaper the more days you book but never free.

To use the sunbeds and parasol you have to pay 20 euros per day..unless you book 7+ days in a row.then it drops down to 10 euros.

After 10 hours of traveling, we were welcomed with an hour of waiting with small kids on the reception, because the lady on the reception was using calculator to see if everything is paid.

a soft drink with 4-5 euros (in the can) are very expensive.

No Tea or coffee or fruit juice in evening unless you paid extra.

The food daily breakfast and dinner was great with such a selection they kept my little man satisfied, the food to purchase in the bar area was delicious and the Large Iced Pints of Mythos was lovely with the cocktails on the same level!

Food from the breakfast and evening buffet was delicious always able to eat something even with a food picky husband!

The food is plentiful and delicious, especially the mackerel and chicken with lemon.

Food was delicious and varied for all tastes, all of the staff were extremely friendly and professional in their duties , always aiming to please.

Clean room, air conditioning, large fridge, internet that works even at the pool, breakfast with everything for everyone.

The breakfasts were lovely, plenty on offer and what you'd get in any hotel.

The hotel is always clean and tidy the beach is also a 5 minute walk from the hotel it’s self and the food in the pool bar is very reasonably priced and at breakfast and dinner there is always a wide variety of food to choose from I can’t wait to come back again

The breakfast consisted of fruit, cereals, fry up etc.

Food and drink: Breakfast was very good with a large selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cakes, bacon, eggs etc.

The reception staff also organised a breakfast box for us as we left before breakfast service.

If you want a Gyros, stop off at one of the takeaways on the main road, they're only 4 Euros and delicious and the Lemonis bakery is outstanding.

Food was great buffet style & plenty choice at breakfast & eve .

Breakfast was good with a good mix of choices.

We had half board, breakfast was good, plenty of choice as was dinner.

but with the doors closed you can't hear it.

We were located ground floor right next to the pool bar, you could hardly hear the music at all after 12 if the door was shut.

It is super loud and I'm glad that the kids portion of the room is away from the doors as some nights it was hard to sleep through the noise

We did email when booking the hotel to be in rooms next door to eachother, when arriving this hadn’t been arranged which was annoying.

Our room was at the front of the hotel with a frosted window so you couldn't see outside, small patio chairs outside the door and room towels are provided.

there was a lot of rust and small hole in shower and the door handle kept dropping off, it was shabby in parts

The patio door to the balcony can only open a third of the way before it hits the bed which is fixed and there is a wardrobe at the other side so you have to squeeze through.

however the door separating the rooms was a sliding hatch which means parent activity is non existent (if you know what I mean).

A proper door fixes this problem and also gives more privacy.

Some minor issues such as the shower is handheld, no fixing above your head, the showers doors don’t close properly leaving a slight leak.

Wandering around and would walk into your bedroom if the door was kept open.

There was also a fly screen on the window and on the door though I had to smile as in our room [room 25] the door fly screen had TWO handles on the outside and NO handles on the inside

Dead fly’s stuck to walls, Glass dirty, internal doors dirty, walls generally grubby.

No one eplained anything to us when we arrived so we had to work out the air con and realised that we had to hook over the door request for the maid to clean our room  on the outside door handle.

but this was no good when you were coming back late as the steps down to our apartment door were in darkness and I managed to slip down them as I could not see.

.which is a must for any ladies going.The bathroom door in one of the downstairs rooms had the lock jam and had to be removed near the beginning of the holiday.They had to make a new door,so there was no bathroom door until near the end of our second week,which could have been even more embarrassing if it hadn't have been 2 girls sharing.Anna couldn't apologise enough though.

Also note bathrooms have a frosted door – so no privacy.

Bathroom in junior suite inadequate toilet broke twice whilst we where there,shower door missing.

however, the bed mattresses were of very poor quality in terms of firmness.

She seemed to be annoyed at us which was very poor service, if anything we should have been annoyed at her as we had paid a lot of money to stay at her hotel and of course the weather is nothing to do with her

Pool sunbed mattresses in very poor condition , wet through and mouldy and ripped .

There was a poor noise-to-signal ratio problem with the speakers in the P.A.

The housekeeping department so poor, they dont clean the room properly especially the bathroom, or they never clean the bathroom at all.

My apartment was number 42 and was part of the older building, the view was poor as we were over the breakfast plastic roof.

It was two single bed bases pushed together with a very poor quality, mouldy double mattress on top with springs coming through.

but made worse by the poor behaviour of some guests who treat dinner as a free for all and who opt to act like parasites at breakfast so they can take food away to their rooms to cover their lunches rather than buying food.

This could be a really good hotel, if the owners  addressed the poor food.

Evening meal is poor, could do with more choices of meat dishes

The food was of a very poor standard bland and not much variation - we found the staff very unfriendly hardly smiled except the young man behind the bar.

but Pedros did encounter a problem with his pool turning green poor man tried everything hope he got it sorted out we had to leave, the children's pool is amazing very large with swings a play house with slides water jets I did have a paddle more than once.

but very poor, only one choice of first course - one type of meat or on type of fish so some days you can be hungry if you don't eat for ex.

Small rooms,very dirty,poor breakfast,no professional service,a lot of insects,cats,towels changed at 4-5 days.Don't mix with Anna Maria Paradise is not the same hotel,beach is at 600-700 meters distance,pool is not clean,WIFI only on reception area.We'll never go back again.

Muddy and slippy grass areas around the pool due to poor drainage from the pool.

During the whole time we were there, we never saw the bins being emptied once and they really did smell.

but was very old and a bit mouldy on the head!

THE BATHROOM is definitely not deluxe with mould above the shower and in grouting, smells coming from shower drain

butt in it but I was told that further along (to the right) it was much cleaner.

however the beach is littered with cigarette ends which let it down.

Very slippery floor and smell of wee or you could use the smallest toilet in the reception.
