To compound our frustration even further, Emergency Fire Exit doors were witnessed propped open on 3 occasions which raises safety concerns.

the ladies showers were filthy with no hot water, and broken lockers there is no door between the toilets and shower area and the main door to toilet area does not shut!

The drinks were just as bad avoid at all costs I had to spend another 1k on food to eat out luckily the Angel next door was great.

Meanwhile my 80 year old father was next door with no air con and a patio door which was forced off its sliders - it did not shut and there was no security.

Next day returned from sight seeing the reception informed us the house keeping found money  in the bed and the balcony door open (showing us photos taken by them).

Shower ( leaking on floor I'll fitting doors) mixer taps over baths in a 5 star hotel come on,been in 3 star with walk in showers.

For the first few days we managed to time our nap with our chamber boy either in our room cleaning and tiding up, or knocking at the door.

One thing I noticed when we were outside the room was a massive hole in the door, as if someone had punched it.

Straight away when we opened the door we knew it wasn’t what we paid for.

Most nights the patio door was open (1st floor room).

So attempted to leave before the door handle to the room snapped off in my hands.

The Rooms were our first bad point the one we stayed in on the first night was very poorly kept and poorly finished and the door was coming off the hinges, in fairness the hotel moved us the following day and the room we had for the remainder of the week was the total opposite and was lovely for our stay.

but the drainage around the edge was broken, also the ladies toilet had a door that was broken, since this was the start of the season, I do not understand why these things were not fixed.

but here we faced other issues (cabin shower door & soap dispenser were broken, the door from the terrace would not close , we had to block it with a rock (not kidding), the smell was terrible (like a cat would have been seized in there).

They won't care anyway as they will be too busy smoking and shouting outside your door to clean anyway.

Our door was knocked every night by drunk men group.

The rooms are very small and basic, we walked in to leaves all over the floor as they'd left the doors open.

The following morning, we told reception about the safety box and also light by the door was on all night.

The door of our relax room was heavy and was hardly opened and closed.

Requested to move rooms the second that we arrived due to the balcony view being what resembled a cave with wires and weeds hanging in front - room 1101 - AVOID!

And 9 times out of 10 if you asked for certain drinks they never had it.

Had to request to be moved from room as we were given bottom floor very dull and tatty.

Even the receptionist was very rude when I asked for an explanation.

Although we asked for the room to be cleaned when we checked in, no action!

Anyway we woke up and went for breakfast and was actually shocked at how bad it was and the food was cold, we sat at a table and asked the waiter if we could have an orange juice to which he said no, we asked for apple juice and he said no there’s only water and cherry, no fizzy drinks were available either.

We rushed to the room to find all our cash were stolen.We confronted them & asked to check CCTV they said this part of the hotel doesnt have cameras.

I am absolutely furious with the way the Reception staff ignored my requests for a something as simple as daily cleaning.

When asked given Turkish aromatic citrus spirit, when complained two responses out of stock (lie) hidden behind bar (true) this is a 5 star all inclusive with no whisky I can get raki, vodka at any star all in exclusive, I pay extra for premium drinks.

well , , whatever time you went to restaurant the food was cold ,asked staff what meat they were serving, they couldn’t tell me what it was ,

There was fight in the hotel with the Turkish guests The staff was pushing and shoving each other around, 
Partner went to the bar , he was getting served then a Turkish guest came up to bar he stopped serving my partner and served him , staff are walking around looking very scruffy , don’t speak any English at all  
We came to this hotel 4 yrs ago I don’t know what’s happened to it , new management?

Note: we spoke to numerous guests which all had problems with their rooms, either being dirty or not what they requested.

When my girlfriend asked about the double beds the staff member loosely explained the bed would be changed in five minutes.

-the staff doesn't know English at all and their uniforms are dirty
The so called late check out is non existent ,I asked the reception about it 4days in a row and on the departure date they couldn't do any late check out.

Requested this be cleaned stuck toilet paper over the vent and left.

I asked for a safe key and was told I’d have to pay for it, I pointed out that their website said every room had a safe, the answer I received was, “yes,

The eggs in the morning were not very appetizing they were under cooked and when I asked them to turn them the lads didn’t know how to.

but this did not  impact on our stay, before we arrived I emailed the guest relations with a request to have our rooms close together and they kindly arranged this.

but when asked why they return they said because all their friends do!

We stayed one night into a standard room (small smelly, noisy) and then we asked for another room and we were "luckily" moved to a Relax room (sort of bungalow)

Our room was immaculate every day as our lovely  cleaner Oznur made an extra effort by decorating our beds with the fresh flowers.

Clean rooms every single day and a pools u can relax in.

Our cleaner, Abdullah was very nice and kept the room clean to a good standard.

The Rooms are clean, everyday the housekeeping clean the room!

This hotel is amazing, I came here 8 time nd still like when I come first time, foods are delicious, beach clean nd good, rooms are clean they're cleaning everyday, location is perfect animation team so funny nd helpful .

Place is spotless as well as the rooms and overall quality is very high.

I am ashamed to say that this was a turkish female receptionist that said this on the phone; with a very rude tone and refused to transfer the phone to someone above her pay-grade.

Reception was rude and unhelpful and we only got our room cleaned after paying extra to the cleaner!

I actually found these quite difficult to watch and the heightened drinking often meant a lot of guests became rude and slightly violent.

Upon arrival we were “greeted” by rude staff members.

Anyway after complaining to a tall, thin and very very rude male receptionist, we were offered 2 other rooms.

Rude staff, no hospitality, disgusting food and dirty rooms.

Everyone in the bar works so hard, and we found the Turkish guests at the hotel so rude, always pushing in and so rude to the bar staff.

We never got what we paid for unless we tipped and most bar staff where very rude .

but one waiter was the worse he was very rude to us all the time his name is Cenk bad behavior, reception was poor 3 times we asked to change a dirty pillow nobody came to change it.

but they seemed to lack any common sense and just decided to be rude.

So I told him that was rude and I had been there waiting way before him.

Some of the staff were quite rude and disinterested in English guests.

They were so rude and did not acknowledge anyone except for Turkish people in the week we was there.

Staff: The staff spoke very little english, the blonde lady on reception was very rude and did not want to speak to us, quite unhelpful.

Its like aladdins cave, the only trouble is the shopkeepers hassle you to desth & hate it if you say no, or if you go in the shop then dont buy some can be quite rude, you have to just ignore it or you could get into a row every 2 mins, this time they definitely seemed to turn on you if you wouldnt buy.

People were pushing in, squeezing friends and family in, I have never come across such a vast amount of rude people.

They were arrogant, rude, unfriendly and badly trained.

The staff were sometimes rude and ignorant especially when trying to order drinks from the bar(germans and pretty young girls often got served before others).

However all the starters including meat and cheese offerings were put on your table waiting for you.

though the ala carte was SHOCKING the food is laid out on your table a good hour on more before you get there so you are the 3rd in line behind the flies and cats  SORT IT OUT..

I didn't like the ala carte as tables laid while people still using the pool and cats around tables.

I thought it was dim and drab with a pool table that's falling apart and oppressive music.

Al a carte restaurants  are very poor, similarly to the main restaurant staff are useless and can’t even get your order right, food is cold and forget about being brought a drink to your table, we chanced the Italian and the Chinese and on both occasions food was cold and poorly prepared.

Tables were dirty, no table service for drinks, cutlery etc - we usually had to fetch our own.

On arrival I was shown to my room in the main building, my fridge was warm and the plug socket on the beside table was hanging out of the wall, the room itself just looked tired.

The staff are amazing and I don't know why people say tables weren't cleared in the restaurant ?

They have described awful sloppy food that is freezing cold (as per other reviews), dirty hotel rooms (they moved 3 times), constant smell of sewerage, 
Restaurant dirty and Tables not cleared to sit.

The rooms
 look generally tired and need a revamp the housekeeping needs to improve our balcony was swept once in two weeks and we cleaned our own table after two days

We sat at the patisserie were there was ice cream all over floor tables not cleaned and a stinking dirty nappy noone had removed!

Dining experience is ruined by the miserable, short, waiter (you will know which one I mean when you see him) = no smile, no please or thank you & bashes every plate down hard onto your table.

but towards the end of our holiday they did leave out more chairs and tables.

however we had to clean the room ourselves as soon as we got there, there was a spillage (cola I believe) on the table which dripped inside the drawers and onto the floor, after cleaning I went to get a bottle of water from the minibar, and found one and a half bottles which had both been opened already, dissapointing start!

Lack of tables in the main restaurant during dinner and sometimes during breakfast.

Little white tables between sunbeds  disgustingly dirty never cleans ,had to wipe down ourselves before putting anything on it.

although in the mornings we did often come down to dirty tables from the evening before where people had been drinking plus they have little plant pots for smokers to put their cigarettes out in and the plant pots would sometimes have water in with food floating about and cigarette ends which wasn’t a pleasant site.

My husband put a bracelet he wore in the bedside table one night, left it there the next day while we went out and when we came back and he went to put it on it had gone!!

One lad, by himself, set up the entire Ottoman al carte restaurant, some fifteen tables while we were waiting to dine in under 20 minutes.

-The food (salad area has no taste),same food almost everyday at breakfast,the tables are sticky ,the dishes are not well washed,the juice is made out of granules ,the juice stand is very dirty ,the coffe is 80%water and 20%coffe.

It had that end of season feel of being unloved, a bit grubby with a lot of stray dogs.

If you don't like dogs & cats this isnt the place for you as they are everywhere.

but honestly there were no hassle or harm so don't worry if anyone mentions about stray dogs.

but you can get some great bargains and they always come down with price.Also there are a lot of stray dogs which don't bother you but being a animal lover was a little disturbing  but we were assured they are looked after.

but not least there are the dogs and cats.

but they might if you don't particularly like dogs.

Cats and dogs freely allowed to roam through hotel and beg for food when you eating in hotel, staff don't seem that bothered.

there is a lot of cats and dogs that also follow you about and not great when you are sitting down to a meal.

The only thing that lets the area down is the litter which is everywhere and the stray dogs which wont bother you

but a bit shabby and some litter along the way, but nonetheless it's nice but just beware of the restaurants and bars hassling you to come in, it's a BIG pet hate of mine getting pestered, I like to see how the place looks and how busy it is before I decide where il eat, as they all offer very very similar menus.

We also noticed that the hotel next door (Siesta) even serves it's customers food on the beach which this hotel doesn't and it's not ideal to leave your towel on the beach whilst going for lunch, especially when you see the stray dogs urinating everywhere (including the sea).

The local area is full of stray dogs, there is also dog mess on the beach along with lots of litter.

Resort:
The beach in front isn't very clean - wild dogs peeing up all the trees and some rude man from the hotel perving on the pink chavs.

The stray dogs (and cows) did seem to be everywhere

Where the hotel is located in the resort we walked past the dirtiest Beach ever, dog mess everywhere stray dogs, cats and even cows on the last night yes cows!!!

Memorable moments:
 sharing the beach with the delightful, placid stray dogs( cared for by the authorities and fed and watered by the locals) didn't see one bit of mess.

Initially we were given two poor rooms, one right at the front which was so noisy and one downstairs 106 which smelt of sewage.

The kitchen was very poor with the fridge rusty and generally very old.

Avoid Charlie near to AJ as he was a bit of a shark and I had heard poor reviews from others who had felt mis-sold.

Won't be going back due to really poor manager

We ate at at few places Mistral was very poor and run down

Hotel wifi is poor and only works in the pool area, room size and decor is terrible, and the beds and sheets were disgusting as there were bugs in the room.

but our favourites were Mistral Bay, Windy Bay, Family Door, the Colombia, and the Tempo (Chinese, but a bit more expensive) but we never really had a poor meal anywhere.

Entertainment was poor and didn't start until 11am which was too late to be bothered.

The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms immaculately clean.

The room were very clean & a good size with small kitchenette.

The rooms were kept very clean towels changed daily.

but the room was clean as were the bar/eating areas.

Lovely hotel in a great location, rooms are clean, tidy, & has everything one needs.

Had a lovely  one week stay with my family.Fantastic atmosphere the rooms are clean and tidy.

I loved this Hotel the rooms are spotless the staff are really helpful and it is well located .Shucran on reception was especially helpful as were the bar staff and managerI will definitely be back .

best place to go away, staff are so friendly , always a laugh there and music is good at the bar, very clean and rooms are nice , always something going on at night too, highly recommend the food is also very good there , right next to beach also !!

Bar staff Barish Romeo and all the others were absolutely fantastic couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome had a laugh.the maids were great rooms were always clean and tidied.Yanis couldn't make you feel any more welcome.

The rooms are very clean and well kept and are checked daily, towels were changed every couple of days.

but when we went back in the afternoon our rooms was always clean and tidy .

The hotel is clean and the room were spacious.

Tropicana Beach Hotel

After a bit of rearranging of furniture we decided to push the beds together, what a shock that was, I don't think there had been any cleaning done underneath the furniture for a considerable amount of time!

We had a fly infestation in our room (coming through the air con vents) the shower was slimy with mould and threadbare towels, the rooms were so dark you couldn’t even see to get ready, the floors were so dirty you needed to put shoes straight on when getting  out of the shower.

However when we did arrive our room wasn’t ready so we’re put into a small twin room.

The room was small, fridge hardly worked, no glasses, tea or coffee making facilities in fact it was just a room with a bed, shower and sofa.

Needless to say going to bed was a nightmare as we never got to sleep until well after 12am!

but some of the umbrellas are broken - never a rush to reserve - we still got beds at 10am.

but not sorted so we had to use phone lights 
Toilet plumbing we fixed 3 times as it just runs or stops working until you take the cistern cover off the wall to reset it
Bed covers - you are given a small cover which is like a large towel and it falls off during night due to size.

The room itself was Ok with a double and single bed and a couch, just a little tired looking.

We stayed in room 115 which needs updating, No view just a hedge, bed was so hard woke up with painful arm and hip.

but instead of the rooms just being closed up the balcony doors are left half open, furniture and mattresses leant against them & old furniture on the balcony’s, Just close the rooms up so we can’t see the mess.

Hotel was very basic, the shower fitment fell off the wall the first night, one flat, uncomfortable pillow each on very hard bed. The food was terrible with boiled meat (?)

Overall we had a fab holiday,  there were a few little hiccups,  our first room we were shown to was at the back of the hotel and the room was very small with 2 twin beds,

There is damp in rooms with bad smell, supper uncomfortable beds, dirty place, poor staff and horrible food.

In the morning after a terrible nights sleep with half a sheet and bed cover tiny shower room and no bath.To be told there was no rooms.

There are only about 16 sun beds by the pool and you have to be up at the crack of dawn to get one.

but you could always get a bed and umbrella if you got there before 10am.

The top cover wasn't as big as the bed and was too heavy in the heat.I tried asking the maid for a normal sheet,she didn't understand and gave me another rough,heavy cover.The wardrobe had 3 sliding doors

but failed immediately afterwards .The toilet when flushed kept running and involved fiddling around with the flushing handle handle to get it stopped, combined with having no stopper in the sink it was a complete waste of water.Immediately above the door onto the balcony was a swallows nest with a resultant build up of bird poo on the ground which was not cleared away ,something we had to do each day.On the first day the bed was made up after that it was not ,only the top cover was folded up and left at the bottom of the bed.

The Shamrock Bar senior staff are welcoming and attentive, 'şerefe Adam,  Ahmed and Eugel 🙌  

Our rooms were clean and so was the bed linen, bed comfortable too.

Jul Jul I would like to thank everyone who works first of all the cleanliness of the hotel is really very good the rooms are very clean and spacious By the sea you can eat and drink everything you want with peace of mind, our cook especially makes a presentation as you wish and brings Tem.

Great hotel that’s spotlessly clean from the rooms to the outside area.

Our room was cleaned good every day and the general atmosphere was nice.

Location was superb, hotel room was clean and the facilities were excellent.

On arrival about 11pm the night staff really could'nt be bothered where as the day reception staff,one in particular girl with dark hair was most helpful.Our room was spacious, outlook was grim broken tables and chairs

The hotel is lovely and the rooms clean and practical.

We had 3 rooms and all were clean and well maintained.

The rooms have always been clean, service efficient and friendly and we’ve eaten wonderful food.

Clean rooms, tasty food (I love Turkish food) and gorgeous beach on your doorstep, it’s a recipe for pure delight!

Rooms spotless and the location is great right on the beach.

but it was poor in relation to other places so we just slept and had breafast for rest of week.

but portions far too big for us both .the staff Ahmet, Adam Yugel and the boys were hard working and pleasant every day even with the lack of sleep .

When I woke my view was a fence area with oil drums & plastic chairs.

While it was late we just had a very uncomfortable sleep and went back in the morning to ask to change rooms, the girl on the desk said to come back after 1 when all the rooms had been cleaned which to be fair was good advice and we did.

Poor couples nearly cried as it was too hot for the baby to go to sleep.

The owner has 3 or 4 dogs that roam the property  theyre big dogs and I,d be wary with young children.They wonder freely whilst your eating,they poo on the grass and their barking woke us up at 3/4 a.m at least 4 times.On our last dat we saw 2 of them drinking from the pool and one of then actually went in the pool.Not hygienic.

On arrival we were allocated a small room that could only sleep 2.

Returning to the room we hoped to get some sleep after a long day,

Youngest child had to sleep on a sofa (not a sofa bed).

although the beds are very very hard we hardly got a wink of sleep the first few nights.

I woke one morning at 6 and people had put towels on the sunbeds.

I have to say that having stayed at the hotel for a week, I have been left somewhat dissappointed by a few factors - namely the bed was probably one of the hardest and most uncomfortable that I have ever slept in a hotel, there was little storage space (no drawers whatsoever) to put clothes and only 4 hangers in the single wardrobe.

The music at the functions was excessive and impossible to sleep until it had finished which was around one.

However we soon run in to problems when it came to sleeping.

however that night I had the worst nights sleep ever!

but in reality, you sleep and shower there so didn't bother us.

The room was supposed to be cleaned every 2 days unfortunately our room was done once only, with no replacement of toilet paper or towels, this didn't bother us as it was still clean

There are only around 25 sunbeds so you have to get one by around 8.30am as you may not get one..the sunbeds are very comfortable (best we have been on) towels are free for guests from reception.

Towels were changed daily and towels were available at reception for the pool.

Taps broken in one room damp in another room tried to charge for drinks out off fridge we had to ask for towels had to go ask for toilet rolls.

This hotel has major issues:

(1) Housekeeping standards extremely poor, towels replaced and bins emptied 

The bathroom was poky and not very clean.The towels were particularly shabby.

but refused to give a Seaview room even thought they were not full and we started to unpack only to discover the toilet seat was on the floor – there were no towels and the safe was locked.

The beach towels provided are also inadequate, they were marked and thin and small, so we bought our own beach towels.

.one couple looked out to two dogs in a kennel.🙈
Pool towels were supposedly available so we didn't take any with us, needless to say they were put out around 9.30 and all gone within minutes so we ended up buying two towels.

They dont give towels after 5, I dont know why.

however we had to ask for clean towels, renewal of shower gel, that the room be cleaned before 4pm each day.

Sunbeds at the pool were always reserved early in our first week and yet empty for most of the day, there is a sign that say's towels are removed after an hour
