well, 6 o'clock next evening not having seen the sun yet in our dark wee hole, finally moved.

though they could be quite dark due to the greenery.

We didn't venture too far from the hotel at night as it was quite dark.

One criticism is that I found the rooms a bit dark esp when getting ready on a night.

At night some of the streets were deserted and really dark and we didn't feel particularly safe.

but quite dark and I would have preferred a room on a higher floor.

1st room we were given was on th ground floor, dark and too small for three people.

Lights directly outside rooms were broke, hard to find key hole in the dark.

Moved room on first day, as we felt the room we were allocated was dark, and oppressive.

We were then taken to a dark dungeon room which had no natural light or balcony

although there still wasn’t a view (only of people peering in from the hotel next door) as the rooms are lined perpendicular to the beach, at least you had some light whereas the ground floor looked rather dark below us.

but all others are a bit dark & gloomy particularly the ground floor rooms because they don't get direct sunlight and the planting scheme.

The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms immaculately clean.

The room were very clean & a good size with small kitchenette.

The rooms were kept very clean towels changed daily.

but the room was clean as were the bar/eating areas.

I loved this Hotel the rooms are spotless the staff are really helpful and it is well located .Shucran on reception was especially helpful as were the bar staff and managerI will definitely be back .

Bar staff Barish Romeo and all the others were absolutely fantastic couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome had a laugh.the maids were great rooms were always clean and tidied.Yanis couldn't make you feel any more welcome.

Initially we were given two poor rooms, one right at the front which was so noisy and one downstairs 106 which smelt of sewage.

They requested a ground floor and we're give a terrible room where they had to go down some stairs and outside their room was the cleaning cupboard, it was old and disgusting.

They just need to clean the sun beds and beach, filthy.

next day people jumping about in must have been sewage.

We had requested a quiet room twin beds and non smoking several months when we booked 4 months ago.

Hotel wifi is poor and only works in the pool area, room size and decor is terrible, and the beds and sheets were disgusting as there were bugs in the room.

We were a little upset, well quite a lot actually, to be put in the filthy Siesta apartments nextdoor (see separate review) on our first night as Tropicana were full,

The utensils were stored in a fusty smelling cupboard under the sink - certain items, such as the drainer provided, had black mold on them and the whole room was worn and tired.

They try to add extras on to your bill and when we challenged it, it turned nasty and the food was terrible.

Was absolutely disgusting threatening attitudes!

We stayed in room 119, it was down the basement right below the poolside toilets and there was a bit of a smell in the bathroom, so on returnin I would ask for a ground or first floor room, facing the pool would be ideal.

Gumbet didn't impress me - it was dirty and smelt like a urinal in places,

but chose to speak in Turkish to one another about it, it appeared that they had given our actual room allocation to someone else, so they moved us into a 1 bed apartment "for the night" (Room 101) at the bottom of the steps and one which looked like furniture was dumped into there and an apartment which they didn't usually book people into (even the kitchen had a bad odour).

Our Thomas Cook rep told us on arrival that Gumbet was a total dump and she was right, a nasty cheap version of Blacpool.

Had fun spotting the most disgusting jetsam in the shallow bay - (a used condom with a knot in it).

One problem we did notice was that the drains in our bathroom were quite smelly,

however when we arrived in our room 103, we found mould on the ceilings and awful smells from the drains and bathroom.

well my holiday was booked for 11 aug this year, booked 8 months ago, The manager seems to overbook, then contacts the holiday companies to say they cannot accommodate guests, i think this is a disgusting managerial way to run a hotel.

Al a carte restaurants  are very poor, similarly to the main restaurant staff are useless and can’t even get your order right, food is cold and forget about being brought a drink to your table, we chanced the Italian and the Chinese and on both occasions food was cold and poorly prepared.

The maid service is poor - our bathroom and floors were never cleaned across the whole 11 days.

The maid did a very poor job cleaning we never had the dirty cups washed, the balcony was not swept at all rubbish was not taken the duvet was just left at end of bed, the smoke detector was covered up with toilet paper, paint on curtains and the fridge barely got cold.

but the same every morning, poor in lunch, a bit varies in the dinner time.

The food in the main rooftop restaurant was dreadful, very poor choice and was always cold.Lunch and dinner was served by hand from the staff onto your plate and I mean literally by hand with rubber gloves on .NO UTENSILS were used.This was a normal thing at all salad bars and the burger bar which was very off putting (they said because of covid)

Only the buffet restaurant is open snd the food is really poor.

Entertainment was poor, animation team do not work for their money.

What other cleaning was carried out was quite poor and didn't make a lot of difference!

If you plan to watch some videos on YT, you could forget to do that, internet is very very poor!

but we were constantly battling with them in our room and walls were covered in mosquitoes splats 😳 maids didn’t clear them up either  was disgusting and we were bitten numerous times when in our room 
- poor staff, only attentive to their Turkish guests I.e serving them at bar first and providing them with waiter service 
- al a carte, italian terrible, Chinese even worse. .

but it wasn't.. it was faraway than the hotel reception.. somewhere in their garden and the headboard of the bed was dirty, with a pale patch, I rejected it but they didn't give me a better one only on the next day, so I had to spend one night in the relax room.. the phone was dead.. the internet was poor.. every one hour had to login again, entering my passport and the room number!!

Stayed in September, was a little worried due to some of the poor reviews however we continued with our booking and had a great stay, the hotel is looking a little dated in parts

we are in this hotel right now , we are so so dissapponted it's so dirty the rooms are not clean the bathrooms are so old and dirty,  the service is very poor i called like 4 times and went down to ask for a clean room and a baby bed

but unfortunately with poor English speaking.

The staff's English was very poor and they appeared to struggle to understand at the hotel bars and had very broken english at the reception.

Our room was immaculate every day as our lovely  cleaner Oznur made an extra effort by decorating our beds with the fresh flowers.

Annoying as this was, our main concern was actually finding somewhere away from other people's smoke.

Food: Disgusting, cold, unidentifiable, inedible.

When we arrived at 11pm, starving hungry from travelling for 6 hours, all that there was to eat was a bowl of cold soup and stale bread left unopened for the flies to land on.

They have described awful sloppy food that is freezing cold (as per other reviews), dirty hotel rooms (they moved 3 times), constant smell of sewerage, 
Restaurant dirty and Tables not cleared to sit.

Could not book late checkout and had to use the shower area facility, Floor wet, dirty and smelt all the time also no locker door keys or privacy.

We heard so many complaints ranging from mould on the shower room ceiling you could put your fingers into - from tired and outdated laminate flooring - a very dodgy lift and the smell in and around the pool of stale water was unbearable.

We sat at the patisserie were there was ice cream all over floor tables not cleaned and a stinking dirty nappy noone had removed!

but it was edible, however the food here was disgusting.

The only negative point for us was the fact that there is no separate smoking area in the terrace restaurant, the beaches and amphitheater- we had to move each time as smoke was disturbing us.

Everybody is smoking, extremely loud nighclubs around, average hygiene.

The toilet bowl was damaged and the room smelled of damp.

Sewer like smell, filthy bathroom, and am not talking standard untidy, this is really filthy!

Room not clean, broken toilet, in bathroom mold on the wall, bathtub was dirty.

although All Inclusive, budget for going out the hotel at night some nights(nothing in a Sunday, male Belly Dancers another night?).

The pool and all inclusive drinks went down a treat!

We stayed for a week all inclusive whicb allowed us to have one free meal at the a la carte restaurant.

Not having stayed at an all inclusive resort before for a family holiday I was concerned all our needs could not be met.

but some of it operates as an open to all business - like Dennys', Carpe Diem and the Cool Breeze Bar at the front which isnt included in the 'all inclusive'.

Overall, the experience was very good, the all inclusive food choice at Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner was extremely wide, from grilled meats & stews, chilled meats, cold buffet, soup, and salads, etc, etc.

This bartenders service is very familiar in the all inclusive Turkish hospitality industry.

The variety of fresh salads deserts and bakery items was the best I have seen at an all inclusive.

The food is what you'd expect for all inclusive ( plenty of Chicken and Kebabs ) with loads of other choices as well even a fussy eater like myself didn't go short.

Overall, this is a friendly, clean well situated hotel & if you’re ok with the usual all inclusive buffet, you’ll have a good holiday.

The food was ok, like most all inclusive hotels the first 5 days were ok then it just gets the same old.

The All inclusive food  was extremely good with lots of variety each and everyday which we thoroughly enjoyed. I would like to mention the “entertainment team” who were so hardworking in keeping all the guests entertained from morning until evening everyday (they work so hard!)

All of the drinks they make are very strong so well worth the all inclusive and not like other places were they hardly put any alcohol in!

The food was great and always found something to eat which usually struggle with in all inclusive.

Just got back from 11 nights all inclusive and overall was fantastic .

Hotel prices are very reasonable for exceptional service, friendly staff and delicious all inclusive food and drinks.

Ive just got back back from 10 day holiday in Parkim Ayaz, and I dont wont to write hundreds of words describing this little Jewel of a hotel.

amazing holiday we are here this year second time and again it is very good at this quality i will come every year i and my family  we feel like we are at home the food is good they always cleaning rooms and the entertainment is best absolutely we recommend to everyone just one thing i lost my wrist band for this they want money thats no good the others was very good thank you for everything parkim ayaz

We come here with my family this year is my second time we were here at April we liked here and we come one more time really it is very beautiful hotel and good place it has own beach that’s great and the hotel is near to bar street I recommended to my all friends and one more thing the entertainment team is amazing they are friendly and funny everyday and all aktivities  thanks guys for you made  our vacation unforgettable see you next year at April

Good holiday With my friend, animation team very good.

They organize nice games and do their best to give everybody the best holiday ever..

A Turkish bath at the beginning of the holiday is a must.

But this ruined the rest of our holiday as he was still feeling nauseous and had diarrhoea all week.

The bars/clubs are literally outside in front and behind it’s more club 18-30’s than a family holiday.

The animation team make the holiday, always something going on.

We been there for 1 week and everything was amazing we liked it so much the location is best directly next to the beach and near to bar streeet also near to city center  food is delicious and staff very friendly specially entrainment team they are very funny and helpful and also special thank for ares he made our vacation unforgettable exactly we recommend to everyone see you next year :)

Although we didn't go on any special trips because we wanted to laze around on the beach a bit more this vacation, we weren't bored at all and I think it was a quality vacation. P.S.

We spent a family holiday in August in Parkim Ayaz hotel.

I will definitely go back and stay at this hotel again and it goes down as one of my best holidays to date.

A very enjoyable holiday thanks in part to the hotel.

The music played is extremely repetitive and loud is not even close to the volume it was on all day long, it’s burst your ear drums loud.

Also the loud music from the bars over the street is very loud

Pools are a style choice, loud music, kids and big kids for slide, or the quite pool(bubble pool), where the people that wanted to chill came.

The night time entertainment was poor, music base was too loud and not enjoyable.

We are a couple in our 30s and have no issue with music and noise and bars etc

The entertainment is ok, altho we only tried the mini disco once and there was no entertainment, only music.

In the night the music from rooms banging till 4am

The walls are paper thin, you can hear conversations from.neighbouring rooms (tv noise, shower/toilet flushing, kids crying and loud music from the clubs blaring until 2.30am - we didnt have a peaceful.nights sleep our whole stay - feeling more stressed than when we came.

The dance music could be heard until 4am ish most nights.

The rooms are perfect for what you need, some said they could hear music until 1am from the street

The music does go on until 12am and the main strip outside is crazy

but noise was turned down and music off at 12 on the dot .

We spent most of our days at the cozzy bar swimming pool, this is the liveliest of them all with loud music the whole day.

Except for the first evening when we discovered that the music program was until 12 pm, and we were very tired from the long flights 🙄after that we stayed every evening to enjoy the program.

There are 3 pools, cozzy bar pool
Which has loud music all day and entertainment staff dancing or playing games.

If you want to have music and chill in a jacuzzi  you should sit at cozy pool, they have one pool with slide and another one bit isolated with jacuzzi too.

From 05.00 you could hear the prey from the Mosque speakers, for about 5-10 minutes.

The hotel is centrally located, and can be quite noisy in high season, depending on which rooms you are located.

It is necessary to work on sound insulation.

That had us worried, then when we went to check in there was someone there complaining about how the noise had been every night and they hadnt slept in days.

A single traveller (middle-aged woman) was followed into the hotel by some random guy on the street who was touching her and shouting racist abuse.

but we were tucked away and didn’t hear a thing in our room.

The street outside the hotel is incredibly noisy and busy.

however if you are looking for a quiet oasis step out the back door.

although if you are young and not looking for nightlife I can imagine it is probably very noisy at night time in the hotel.

We are going home very sad with what was meant to be a lovely experience, turned out to be a living nightmare of insults and awful service for families and just constant attempts to take more money.

Choice of a few pools some having entertainment which could get a little noisy at times

Some rooms can be noisy all day and night ( around Cozzy bar/pool) so avoid that area if you're looking for a quiet holiday.

The evenings were the highlight of our stay though, the entertainment staff (Aress, Elsa, Sasha and Artur) they got to know us well and looked after us, always making sure we were having fun and fulfilling all our requests!

We liked the most activities by the pool and entertaining team - 2 girls and 3 boys.

The entertainment was also repetitive, how many times do I want to see the same dance troupe in a week, yes they were good

Sacha on the entertainment team was brilliant the whole animations  team where   Fab.

I've found only two good things in the hotel:
First was the animation team whose members struggled to entertain the guests and make them feel good.

The entertainment team were ok, friendly and fun

The entertainment has been such good fun, lots of dancing, singing, games in the pool, darts, water polo, volly ball.

Aress is a lovely guy & fantastic entertainment .

The toilet also needed some bleach as had a ring around the waters edge.

but by 1am it stops,  Entertainment poor and food was awful, after 2 days i couldnt even bear the smell, very little meat on offer, I saw one lady dip a fork into the soup to taste it then double dipped into the other soup!

The main downside by far is the hit and miss food and the quality of cooking  - at the main restaurant the bbq man just regularly burns the meat and the taste of the food is just barely average if not bland and unappetising.

Also in one of the rooms there was a horrible smell.

Room was basic and bathroom leaked, toilet disgusting I went out to buy bleach and bathroom cleaner and had to clean it myself.

but on occasion some got quite nasty when I didn’t go in the shops and swore at me, others almost chased me down the street trying to sell me stuff.
