The architecture is classic 19th century Mexican with high ceilings, arches and balconies.

It has large rooms with an understatedly elegant décor, and great amenities such as a pool and rooftop terrace.

The rooms are super spacious, tidy, and well-kept up.

The architecture was amazing and everything is in excellent order.

I was not disappointed and my friends absolutely loved the hotel and its charm.

This hotel was in the perfect location for tourism and to the venue we were in town for to see a concert.

This trip was the fifth time I have enjoyed the security, comfort and excellent location of Hotel Morales.

Both American and "Mexican" Coffee offered.

Aside from that, the hotel is a totally charming Mexican hacienda experience, with a friendly and helpful staff.

On the day of my birthday they delivered an incredible Mexican dessert free of charge.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and we loved the beautifully prepared breakfast buffet, with fruit, juices, yogurt, cereals, delicious Mexican Cafe de olla, several hot dishes and an omelette station, where the cooks made wonderfully prepared omelettes.

Location is within 2 blocks of El Gorda Mexican restaurant and the hop on hop off bus stand.

It’s also very close to the arena where Mexican wrestling is held so well worth a visit.

Included is fresh-made juice, an omelet station, Mexican dishes (shredded beef, pork in green sauce, frijoles, chicken fajitas, chorizo, salad, cheese and ham), pancakes, potatoes, sweet breads and bread for toasting, yogurts, cottage cheese, fresh pineapple, papaya, watermelon, cantaloupe and mixed fruits in a bowl (apples, guavas, grapes, plums and kiwi), fresh-made coffee to which one can add cinnamon sticks, and dry cereals and oatmeal.

The restaurant seemed fairly popular at night – a generally Mexican menu

The authentic ambiance of the Mexican culture reflected in this space made us feel like we made a good choice.

Stay here and you better be Uber capable, or be willing to put up with the same old tired mexican standards like at La Chata.

A smile in any language goes a long way, and if you give one to a Mexican I guarantee you will get one back.

Breakfasts also included good coffee, fresh juices, unlimited variety of Mexican pastries and fruit.

You could get waffles, fruit, eggs or Mexican dishes.

Breakfast is a big spread, that changes daily, delicious mexican food, with nice pastries and eggs, to torta ahogada one morning,  to a new thing I had never had

This restaurant is very famous for its authentic Mexican food.

Food is very tasty with a nice choice of European and Mexican dishes both from buffet and  a'la carte.

The sound of the water falling in the fountain could be heard throughout the courtyard to the top of the hotel.

It was hard to pull up for valet parking with city traffic and we circled the block numerous times.

They have to stop it during the night because it is so noisy.

The rooms are noisy and the street is busy.

The hotel is a beautiful colonial building in the center of downtown, it’s remarkable that you can barely hear the street noise because the windows are so thick.

But a/c was not only extremely noisy , it  blows air like crazy.

They got us a driver and checked us in after our plane had arrived late and we didn't get in until 1am.

A noisy clacking air conditioning unit no matter what speed the fan was on.

Our only complaint about the room was the shaking that occurred when a large vehicle drove by,

However, there is a lot of noise in this hotel; a) because there were so e building works going on and b) the design of the hotel interior means that noise echoes somewhat.

There can be some noise here and there i.e.

Don’t take room 102, or you’ll hear the dish carts go by before morning food service, clanking ceramics, glass and flatware with each grout line the wheels cross, plus staff music playing on phones, and their conversation.

My room was quite – the front desk warned me against rooms with balconies that have a lot of street noise and seem to also to have windows on the hallway too.

but there are some very small ones as well. Quiet.

The only real noises were from the church bells.

After we stripped the bed and went to sleep we were awakened by the sound of dripping about an hour later.

No one seemed to mind that we blocked the lane for a minute on this busy city street…no honking or yelling or rude gesture that you might experience in some other country.

The only other thing; there was a club down the street that played music fairly loudly through the night, 'til around 4am,

but it happen to me and my sister and we were not going to keep quiet.

There is a restaurant in the hotel, plenty of open areas, even a pool table.

Staff were all great especially the concierge and the restaurant staff.

Facility includes; bar, restaurant, roof top pool, and gym.

We were able to walk around the Centro and eat amazing meals all within minutes of the hotel.

We want to thank all the staff at the Morales Hotel, we went last weekend, and everyone treated us very well; they were super helpful: employees from the front desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant

A/C was great as was all services-housekeeping, concierge, restaurant waitstaff & food.

We also ate dinner there one night and really enjoyed it.

The restaurant was great with lots of food options for all meals.

Restaurant had good amount of choices for different pallets.

The hotel is close to some amazing tourist sites in the city and only a short Uber drive from amazing restaurants, shopping, and more.

- The concierge did not have a deep knowledge of restaurants and museums in the area.

I never ate in the restaurant, the buffet did not appeal to me, the taqueria across the road was great, as was the restaurant La Chata a couple of blocks away, and of course the empanadas in the square.

It is close to a nice choice of excellent restaurants.

It is stunning with lots of neat courtyards to explore, a fun rooftop pool with city views, and a nice cafe.

The restaurant staff kindly reheated it for me and provided plates and cutlery so I could eat it comfortably in our room.

The rooftop pool was a great way to cool off after site seeing.

As for the hotel itself, the staffing was extremely helpful, the breakfast was outstanding and I spent three hours in and by the rooftop pool on a hot, sunny day.

Also, there is a nice rooftop pool and a separate rooftop terrace that is week kept with flowers and good furniture.

A good range of amenities including a lovely rooftop pool and terrace where you can watch the sunset.

TV cable  CNN, FOX,  &  lots of channels en Español also.Weather was lovely so enjoyed the roof top pool.

Rooftop pool was very refreshing after the heat of the day.

The roof top pool was nice and we enjoyed the breakfast at the lobby restaurant twice.

The heated roof top pool was nice and relaxing after exploring the city and surrounding area.

Given that, Hotel Morales is a welcome respite - it is quiet, the rooms are large and the rooftop pool and seating area are a nice touch.

The roof top pool and spa area looked amazing .

It flooded the room where my sons luggage was and wet all his clothes and the whole ground was wet.

Loved the super high ceilings in-the guest rooms.

Rooms were clean, suit was huge, service was great, staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had a suite with two beds in room 226.

The hotel itself was very good as we had high expectations, could not fault the room or staff BUT within one hour of leaving the hotel  for a walk we were robbed TWICE, first my wife and then 15 minutes after the first robbery me.First incident crossing zebra crossing and motorcycle backed everyone up which was weird, second person pushed my wife over grabbed jewelry and jumped on  the back of a motorcycle  and was gone in a matter of seconds.

You need clean bottled water to brush teeth and to make coffee in room.

The staff put some a birthday note and goodies in our room which was so sweet.

Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable.

It is a beautiful building and great rooms.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and luxurious.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms are very neat.

Comfortable seating areas in the mezzanines overlooking the courtyard, and in the rooms.

Try to get a room in the old part of the hotel surrounding the central common areas to get the best feel of this historic hotel.

The rooms were very clean and customer service was outstanding.

Everyone was very helpful and the rooms were lovely and clean.

You can be lucky or you can get a room like us close to the elevator.

We never saw any of them smile each time that we went up to them nor were they very accommodating.

Then at the reception desk the ladies were friendly and courteous.

The staff and cleanliness of the hotel are top notch.

Staff went out of their way to make sure my family of 5 was comfortable.

but above all, we are super grateful to Jose Moreno (capital of the Bellboys).

We were pleasantly surprised to find that there were scrambled eggs, fajita beef, and a couple other things, so we ended up just eating in the club.

Best club room breakfast,wonderful, just back from 30 trip, no other hotels a had a breakfast delection as Hyatt Andares.

The club lounge also had an impressive spread for breakfast and hors d'oeuvres at night that could easily be made into a light dinner.

We were on the second floor and had access to the Regency Club, which put out one of the best hospitality spreads I have ever seen.

Nice to get refreshed in the pool in the morning while you see the metropolitan area awakening, then have a nice breakfast in the Regency Club.

I highly recommend you upgrade to the Club Lounge.

We also enjoyed the club level access which offers breakfast, snacks and cocktail hour.

If you’re able to upgrade to the Club level I highly recommend you do.

From the moment we were greeted outside the hotel, through front desk, Club, and housekeeping staff, the staff of this hotel made us feel at home.

Breakfast both in Regency Club and main restaurant was excellent.

It is absolutely worth paying for a suite and access to the Regency Club for the free food and drinks.

The Regency Club had a great selection of breakfast items and snacks throughout the day.

Make sure you get the "CLUB" included gives you access to some awesome stuff.

We had breakfast at the Regency Club which had a nice spread.

I recommend you booking a room with access to the Regency Club, which will offer you a magnificent buffet breakfast, and tequilas at sundown.

I recommend the Regency Club which provides a delicious variarty of foods and drinks for all tastes.

I would recommend that if you are not a Hyatt premium member, that you pay to upgrade to Regency Club--top 5% of hotel club lounges.

The property is located in a very nice/upscale area with lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

Unfortunately the main purpose of our trip was visit Tequila, the hotel staff arrange the tour for us with experience tours, a big disappointed, this tour guide Daniele was so boring and lazy, we wanted to have fun and it was the most tedious tour we ever had

Amazing service and caring and compassionate staff, great location, fantastic restaurants walking distance.

The property is located in the nicest part of Guadalajara.

The hotel room smelled like the sewer and there was a generator running outside the building early in the morning.

The noise level of the surroundings was not a problem,

But, 

For the record, Hyatt Regency Guadalajara (HRG) was unable to check, minimize or control the loud noise, music, & partying on Friday evening (02/11/22),  Saturday evening (02/12, 22) or early Sunday morning (02/13/22).

She was not disturbing anyone, not barking, literally laying on the ground.

but it was noisy for about 2 hours or so!

but the obnoxious music playing in the speakers makes it so you can’t hear the TV at all.

Also the door allows too much noise from the hallway.

Instead they send somebody from the restaurant to hear my complain.

However, there was construction on the main driveways, which made it difficult to get to the hotel everyday when we went out (traffic snarled at the front door), and there are only two check out stations, so

The room had a very annoying sound that came form the vents of the shopping center outside the hotel.

The noise you here from the hallways during the nights unbearable.

The only negative was that on the weekends the traffic noise does get loud.

It has excessive noise from a mechanical item in the ceiling which actually shakes the closet.

Since we moved in in June, there hasn't been a single day without jackhammer noise except on Sundays.

My only complaint is that the sound-proofing could be better, you can hear the buzz from the street below; not really a problem during the night

2) a little towards the outer ring roads, so generally better for traffic, depending on where you are going.

but on June 18, and 19 I couldn't take my young kids to the pool because pool deck was under construction, they were using loud cutting saws and assured me the pool was open for use, but the magnification of the noise made it impossible to swim without hurting my childrens ear drums.

They really need better soundproofing of the windows to avoid this recurring event.

Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

Nice hotel, close to many restaurants and Bars, beautiful lobby Bar with outdoor dining, close to Mall with many brand name stores, the room is big with nice bathroom, the Breakfast Buffet has a large selection of foods and drinks.

But we underestimated how great the entire property was ! Our guests (more than 50) enjoyed beautiful, clean rooms, food and beverage service that was outstanding, and entertainment in the lobby bar (mariachis!)

It's in basically a large outdoor mall with very "high end" stores and restaurants.

The cocktail hour was good- the guacamole was really good, and there were some great little pastries and other snacks.

Eating area was very accessible plus the view of the city is perfect.

Huge beautiful Andares Mall is amazing Lots of shopping AND GREAT Restaurants around. .

Very good experience hotel very clean, beds are comfortable, great room service friendly atmosphere great service .
