Furniture in the room was worn and tattered and not inviting.

The wall was patched near the door and you can see that it has not even been painted.

but there was black on the ceiling in the bathroom and graffiti on the bathroom door.

The hotel is extremely outdated, the hallways were very humid because the leaves the hallways windows open.

The property was well-kept and clean for an older property, with no funky smells  like some properties have.

The hotel room I was in seemed somewhat dated,

It's dated and somewhat worn looking inside,

The place was definitely dated with older furniture, TV, bedding.

but the comforter was thin and a bit dated.

Some of the fixtures seemed a bit dated and in need of updating/repair.

The hotel is dated and dingy, The "hot breakfast" is a waffle iron and a toaster -  So do not expect bacon & eggs.

The shuttle at 5:00am was prompt and the driver was friendly, too.

In the morning it was a direct drive to the airport and took literally FOUR minutes!

They used to drive us to the Historic Downtown too, when I came 2 years ago, just a 2 minutes drive from the hotel.

My driver Mara was exceptional as always, punctual, professional, and they remain my go to parking spot and shuttle service when I fly for business out of DFW.

Shuttle service was quick and the driver made the ride fun.

He called his shuttle driver “Sabin”.

Emily at the front desk and Sabin the shuttle driver were very helpful.

We took the shuttle with both Johnny and Sherri who were the best drivers ever.

and a delightful sunrise drive to the airport (you rock Sherra!

The rooms were very clean to include the bathroom.

however my room was very clean, quiet, and cool.

The room was clean, comfortable, tidy and worked well for me.

but it was almost midnight with a small child and your rooms were filthy.

I did smell a bit of faint cigarette smoke near the bathroom entrance which I assume must be coming from a smoking room upstairs via some type of ventilation shaft.

My friend was also sure that pot had been smoked in her room from the smell in it.

Not sure if some rooms are smoking and some non-smoking.

The room is a non smoking room, I've used this room several times, this time it smelled terrible, like an Ash tray.

The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke.

First non-smoking room had been full of tobacco.

Also the Rooms have a MUSTY DAMP SMELL That Even LYSOL COULDN'T MASK!

Since the hotel allows some smoking rooms, our second floor hall reeked of smoke.

The only reason a 4 rating, was due to the smokey smell in the room,

They even have some smoking rooms which are hard to find now days.

but the last two trips my supposed non-smoking room reeked of tobacco.

Went to our room in a non smoking area, when the elevator doors opened the smoke almost closed my throat!!

They provide breakfast and shuttle service to DFW airport.

Just wanted to give 5 stars to the front desk and shuttle service at the Grapevine Super 8!

Very easy to park here & utilize their shuttle service for an international trip.

Had a great shuttle service by Sabin and mike at the front desk was a big help ( atleast think his name was mike) thanks for everything!

Additionally, the shuttle service provided by Mara was top notch.

We were especially impressed with the shuttle service because it operates on the hour for departures and upon call for arrivals at the airport.

The staff were very friendly, we used the shuttle service to pick up and return our rental car so awesome to have!

The hallway of the 2nd floor smelled of marijuana.

Kids got no swimming time, no one showered because the bathroom was disgusting.

Imaging what was under them with no grout to waterproof the floor.

A very uncomfortable stay in so many ways, the smell, bed and bedding was intolerable and we didn't get much sleep.

but when I got home I had the worst allergy attack I'd had all year because I'm allergic to secondhand smoke.

but had a smell like it was closed for a long time.

but even I was taken aback by the smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby.

Had heard about a hotel
In the airport so reserved the Hyatt when my flight plans went array.

Beverages were typically priced for an airport hotel bar.

I am used to traveling overseas where most modern airports have the hotel within the security perimeter,  I understand that the GRAND HYATT also in DFW is accessible from the terminal hoowever there are nohotels within the security perimetr in DFW.

Want to stay at a tired airport hotel that isn’t connected to the airport or anything else?

Just because your business conference is booked at the airport hotel doesn't mean that your stay can't be comfortable.

Shuttle runs every 20 minutes from hotel to all airport gates.

but for a quick convenient hotel next to airport I would stay again.

though this hotel is next to the airport, though I could not hear enough airplane noise inside my room to make it a distraction at all.

The hotel is within airport property and close to Terminal C.  While shuttle service is available, it is walkable from terminal C (Exit C19) by crossing a couple of parking garages (with stairs) and a pedestrian bridge.

Believe it or not I would highly recommend this hotel (yes an airport hotel) for the following reasons:
1.

Good hotel within the airport with convenient shuttles to gates and pickup 
Beds are sensational 
Disability access to rooms with shower into bath is an issue for mobility challenged
Aces bar and mister g sushi are awesome for dinner 
Restaurant in hotel is average 
Niko at Starbucks is a legend !

I must say, for an airport hotel that is a little older, this one is in great shape.

Obviously if you're staying at a hotel in the middle of the airport, there will be noise,

but i suppose that's the price of the uber convenience of being right on the airport property and walkable from the arrival gates.

The Hyatt Regency DVW is super convenient  for a layover and is on the airport property.

By being where it is, it is the only game in town for many attending multi-day conventions, etc.

I was in Dallas at the Hyatt Regence DFW, for a Bookkeepers convention (yes, that is an exciting thing to some of people).

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at DFW during the Airliners International 2023, and with the overall service at the hotel and the convention that was hosted at the enterprise ballroom, I had an awesome 5 Day and 4 Night stay at the high floor with the east runway view!

This is an exceptionally wonderful convention property.

I had a great time at the hotel for a board game convention.

I love my convention I loved that I was there at the airport the rest was of my experience was not.

The hotel was well trained for our convention and did a great job in helping our convention guests.

I was visiting for a work convention and the staff exceeded my expectations!

I visited the Hyatt as a part of our Kairos annual convention.

I really enjoyed the extended weekend at this location where we have a convention.

We've been several times for the BGG.Spring board game conventions and always have a great time staying at the Hyatt.

I've been to multiple Hyatt locations for conventions, with some of them being better than others --

We stayed at the Hyatt regency at DFW over memorial day weekend for the board game geek convention.

I stayed a night here for a busy convention.

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency DFW International Airport for a convention and it was really convenient.

The hotel did a really good job of handling the convention.

We attend every February for LADM dance convention.

We visited for a dance convention for our daughter.

Upon leaving and going back through the toll, I was charged $83 due to the hotel not giving me the correct ticket.

One waiter ran my credit card back to me after I had forgotten it.

Hotels need to have real app check in and payment not just a precursor to checking with a physical card.

I was promised that charges for one night would be removed

We were given a room with two queen-sized beds and were charged the difference.

I had run the credit card authorization form earlier in the day,

It’s an airplane crew hotel and regular travelers pay double what newer and nicer hotels charge.

Apparently anyone can charge food to any room without proof and you will be stuck paying for it

Use gate with a physical ticket and have the hotel validate it, or you will be charged $27.50 for an overnight stay.

A little disappointed they wanted to charge so much for coffee during training sessions so none was provided

Then when I asked to spilt my actual bill between my room and card that wasn’t accomplished properly.

but we were charged for a 'complementary breakfast.'

To their credit; it was a stunner and shining example of what excellence can look like.

He offered a credit for the inconvenience and noted in my profile to not put me in a connecting room.

The room was nowhere near worth the amount they charged.

My stay at this hotel stemmed from a frustrating aviation system experience in which I was not told an electronic proof was needed for my passport & vaccination card (both of which I had in hand).

This hotel was 457 dollars total charge on my card for one night.

but ended up being charged, disappointed in the fact that we were charged for Breakfast, had we known we would have to the airport, much cheaper

They made me pay $444, even with approved credit card and 15 calls to them no $300 refund! !

Three times the price of properties 6-9 miles away.

The hotel room has not maintained room quality for the price.

$7 for a bottle of water when I already paid almost $400 for the night seems a little high. Yes!

I missed 1 hour of a conference session which I paid for because of the poor customer service.

I was prepared to hear planes take off and land, have mediocre overpriced food, and average service.

Food & bev prices are too high (a location & convenience based premium, I understand), and the restaurant/bar was not adequately staffed during peak hours for a conference.

They did not follow through with my wake up call, which could have caused me to miss a flight and the price is definitely not worth what you pay.

Only thing to look twice at is the bottled water in rooms is only free for hotel members, otherwise there is a cost involved.

Walked from terminal, little confusing if you don't pay attention to signage.

The buffet was terribly overpriced for what it was.

but understanding our situation and enhancing our stay with an additional bed, access to complimentary snacks since we had to leave before breakfast opened, and an unsolicited phone call to the Seattle facility where we could not make our reservations to request they waive our cancellation fee.

The price for such a dated hotel was outrageous.

Prices are ridiculously high for food and drink. Waitering staff were very good (except when I asked someone clearing tables a question and discovered she didn't speak English)

I was traveling solo with my 2-year-old toddler and requested (and paid for) a room with a single king-sized bed.

specially when you pay almost $400 a night!

The room was clean and comfortable, nice decor.

The hotel was clean and our room was a nice size for two queens.

The Room was very clean, and included all of the amenities!

Quiet, clean room and efficient service checking in.

What I got was a beautifully clean and quite room, free shuttle service that ran on time, and great food.

Meeting Rooms were great and our rooms were clean and comfortable.

Room was spotless and the bedding, linens, and towels all very nice.

It is a short walk from Terminal C. My room was clean and comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, room clean, food was great.

Everyone was friendly from front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast staff.

First of all, it would have been nice for Booking.com to let us know that the pool was kind of in a construction zone.

Construction debris covered walk-ways which from the parking lot which had to be navigated strategically.

Three drawbacks construction out front, toilet seat too low and tub floor uneven making it difficult to stand.

There was construction right in front of the hotel,

A little difficult to get to with construction

though it was a challenge to get in and out of the property due to street construction right in front, there was no extra noise or mess once I made it in the parking area and in the hotel itself.

Also, they must be remodeling somewhere as the parking spaces on one side of the hotel were taken up with storage pods.

The other recent plus is that the construction on 35E has completed and shifted south so getting in and out is much easier.

Note: Ongoing construction on I-35E makes access to the Corporate Drive exit a bit tricky - either north or south bound.
