First of all, it would have been nice for Booking.com to let us know that the pool was kind of in a construction zone.

Construction debris covered walk-ways which from the parking lot which had to be navigated strategically.

Three drawbacks construction out front, toilet seat too low and tub floor uneven making it difficult to stand.

though it was a challenge to get in and out of the property due to street construction right in front, there was no extra noise or mess once I made it in the parking area and in the hotel itself.

Also, they must be remodeling somewhere as the parking spaces on one side of the hotel were taken up with storage pods.

The other recent plus is that the construction on 35E has completed and shifted south so getting in and out is much easier.

Note: Ongoing construction on I-35E makes access to the Corporate Drive exit a bit tricky - either north or south bound.

Hotel is difficult to get too due to the construction in the area.

The only reason I did not give this hotel the five stars is because during our stay there were construction workers staying at the hotel (or so I was told by the front desk) and when I went out to my car after dark to bring up a bag, three of them were camped out front drinking and smoking being rude and crude.

In spite of the construction on the interstate highway around it, the hotel is still easily accessible.

The rooms are spacious and perfect for families or business travelers who need space to work.

My family really enjoyed our stay on this quick last minute staycation.

I would recommend this hotel to any friends and family!

I got to know most of them and was treated like part of the family.

I would definitely stay here with family when I come back to Dallas.

He accomodated my request and many families had late night good memories and fun!

They go above and beyond, are friendly and have been a bright spot in an otherwise very unfortunate and stressful siuation with our family being unexpectedly stranded with our 7 month old baby.

My husband and I traveled to TX to help  take care of a family members affairs.

This hotels entire staff is very hospitable, highly recommend staying here as solo or even with family!

Shout out to Lee who made us feel like family, and graciously took care of using our points for part of our stay.

Bottom line: It was a cozy clean hotel stay that met the needs of our family during the holidays and I would stay here again for a short hotel stay.

Our family had a convention at the Gaylord Palms and this is only about 15 minutes away.

Angela the breakfast attendant was so kind and accommodating to me and my family.

We were in town to visit family and the hotel was recommended by our family member who lives near by.

Great for companies and families looking for a place to call home during their trips.

The impeccably clean room was astounding—-huge, with a sofa, easy chair, coffee table, comfortable bed, good a/c, strong wifi, desk, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker with good  coffee, and wonderfully outfitted bathroom.

The atmosphere everywhere was fresh, not musty, or covered by some yucky room spray.

I asked for no deodorants or strong smelling cleaners and my room was aired out way before arrival , greatly appreciated!

but the split system is faulty when you try switching to heat which triggered the alarm which was not good and disturbed the peace and the hotel rug smell really damp and can be better managed.

but had a bit of a musty smell which seemed to be coming from the air conditioning.

However the room had a slight musty damp smell,  reminiscent of the pre-makeover Best Western motels.

Of course, there is no way to get all perfume out.

This room may have been converted from a smoking room at one time.

however it did have an unpleasant odor when I first walked in for the first 5-7 minutes then it became unnoticeable,room 109.

Tired of Holiday Inn Express' nasty breakfast I booked here because Best Western has better breakfast.

A little bit of a musty smell when you first go in, other than that is was great.

Only gripe I have is they could have more ashtrays near the benches as many smokers use them and the

I have stayed here several times and it is close to airport and is now nicely finished in lobby area after renovations were completed last year.

If you need a place to stay near the airport and if you need group accommodations, this is the place to go.

Spent several days at the ES near the airport.

It was quiet and fairly close to the airport.

Good location near the airport which was a big plus.

This fit the bill, it was close to the airport and the evening reception was a really nice added bonus.

The next morning I came down with several trips to stow my bags till the shuttle to the airport.

The 24hr airport shuttle actually only runs from 6:00am until 10:30pm.

The shuttle to/from the airport made the trip such a breeze, especially since there is a fee for cars to come in and pick you up!

The airport shuttle will always be available every 30 minutes.

Appreciated the free shuttle to and from the airport, and their evening Manager's Reception.

they do have a complementary shuttle to the airport and also to the Gaylord .

The area is convenient because it is right by DFW airport and they have a shuttle that goes to the airport and the large outlet malls across the street.

Friendly staff, classic open air Embassy Suites center atrium all the way up to the roof, glass elevators, nice fitness center, good free breakfast, good size pool & hot tub, close to shopping about a mile away, free airport shuttle which is also available to drive you anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel, good restaurant choices nearby including Daan Sushi which is excellent.

The airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes starting at 4AM, it takes approx.

The shuttle from airport is extremely convenient.

We stay at this location because we are catching a flight in DFW airport and this hotel offers free airport shuttle every 30 minutes.

They have a courtesy shuttle from the airport and to some local shopping areas .

The airport shuttle is dependable and the same  hotel shuttle will also take you for free back and forth  to the mall or a nearby restaurant.

Once this is complete this will be a really nice place to stay, it’s very handy for the airport and has a shuttle service (although took a while to get picked up on arrival at DFW).

However, cozy bedroom and cup of black tea prepared by me upon arrival compensated low temp outside. Eggs over-easy perfectly done as usually :)

While the breakfast and happy hour are nice amenities, everything else was pretty average.

Gym and breakfast were good on the positive side.

The morning breakfast is standard with your cooked to order omelette station.

My stay as always was an experience to remember the staff was very friendly the hotel was very clean my room was very clean the service was great and I love the complimentary breakfast bar in the morning and the complimentary drinks and reception at night it makes the value of your stay worthwhile

The omelettes at the complimentary breakfast were wonderful.

Their complimentary breakfast was also quite phenomenal.

Unlike their fancy neighbor, there is no daily resort fee ($20/day at the Gaylord) or parking fee ($22/day at the Gaylord), and breakfast is included with your stay.

They offer an included breakfast in the morning with several options including an omelette bar.

The sign in the bathroom says to call the front desk,

Each time we are assured the the management would call us within 3 days and then no one ever calls us back.

Our first call was 1/1 and was told to call back for a manager at 9am the next morning, called back today at 10:15am and was told to call back at 3:00 pm bc a manager would be coming in then, I have now called back for a third time at 5:05pm today and was told there is STILL not a manager on duty and to call back around 6:00-7:00ish if she “shows up.” Huh??

The phone lines to the front desks are never working.

She then said that if they couldn’t be quiet, she’d call the police.

We had to call for repair on day 2 of our stay.

but that will probably require more time wasted on another call).

Hotel management COULD CARE LESS as they responded with “it’s not our responsibility” and “we put up signs” and “just call your insurance”.

When she was told that wouldn’t work, she said she would call us back.

Hilton Customer Service did take care of the Embassy Suites incompetence, and I am still waiting on the call from the GM that was promised at 9:03 AM yesterday.

but as soon as that call was over, it was changed on the app to the regular suite.

After over an hour of calling back and forth to get that number from them, they finally had found a 800 number that I called and the technician on the phone fixed my issue within 2 minutes being on the phone.

Three hours later we attempted to call the front desk again to get an update and after 5 “no answers” we went down to the lobby and spoke to a supervisor who said they tried to contact an exterminator

Processing request took 5 hours, and only after a second call.

I tried to call the hotel manager several times to address this and his voicemail is full and he never seems to be in office.

That night we try to call for room service our phone doesn’t work at all.

Called a a very rude lady told us we could wait or we could call Uber.

Hotel does not respond to the claim nor to phone calls.

Also housekeeping needs an overhaul, went to open the curtains and found pieces of bread behind the curtain, there were mini bottles of various wines and liquor lying about and when I went to retrieve my phone charging cord that dropped beside the bed I found numerous packets of those little snuff pillows people put in their mouths on the floor.

but the pita chips, tortilla chips and pretzels were stale.

Uncomfortable beds, ripped and stained sheets (I slept on top of the bedding in a sweatshirt 🤢) and the pull out sofa bed our kids slept on was uncomfortable and disgusting. The juxtaposition of the nasty beds/rooms (think dark with low, popcorn ceilings, crusty carpet, etc.)

And your towels get dank and icky- again unless you bring them up yourself.

though they have recently renovated, the room smelled very musty, and there was a few little bugs flying around the room.

Damp floor in the bedroom and associated smell.

Roaches were found running in the room, moldy for allergy sufferers especially no daily room clean or house keeping servIces.

Throughout the night, we all started getting very congested with a nasty cough and when we went to take a shower the next morning we realized it was because all of the vents were molded.

We would just leave the trash bags in front of the room, which is unsightly and smelly.

Unfortunately, the next day we returned from a game to the same horrid stench.

The pool was labeled as a salt water pool, so I am disappointed that one of the employees must’ve put bleach in the pool.

The room smelled of extreme disinfectant- a real buzz kill.

Rooms are great. Mattresses could be better and bathroom towels could smell better

A/C did not work properly,  room stayed humid and smelled musty,  housekeeping did not service our room on day 2, coffee and snack bar did not get restocked in our premium suite like advertised.

The hotel rooms were not clean, the sheets and pillows are stained and smell disgusting.

The smell of smoke in the room early in the morning as well as uncleanliness ruined our stay causing us to check out from this property early to stay at another Hilton property in the city.

I booked a king deluxe  balcony, checked in and the room (top floor) smelled like mildew and balcony was covered with dead wasps.

There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling near the shower.

The rooms were disgusting, staff rude when asks for an extra pillow and blanket sand that they were out.
