However, cozy bedroom and cup of black tea prepared by me upon arrival compensated low temp outside. Eggs over-easy perfectly done as usually :)

While the breakfast and happy hour are nice amenities, everything else was pretty average.

Gym and breakfast were good on the positive side.

The morning breakfast is standard with your cooked to order omelette station.

Breakfast is quite good and well presented.

The sign in the bathroom says to call the front desk,

Each time we are assured the the management would call us within 3 days and then no one ever calls us back.

Our first call was 1/1 and was told to call back for a manager at 9am the next morning, called back today at 10:15am and was told to call back at 3:00 pm bc a manager would be coming in then, I have now called back for a third time at 5:05pm today and was told there is STILL not a manager on duty and to call back around 6:00-7:00ish if she “shows up.” Huh??

The phone lines to the front desks are never working.

She then said that if they couldn’t be quiet, she’d call the police.

We had to call for repair on day 2 of our stay.

but that will probably require more time wasted on another call).

Hotel management COULD CARE LESS as they responded with “it’s not our responsibility” and “we put up signs” and “just call your insurance”.

When she was told that wouldn’t work, she said she would call us back.

Hilton Customer Service did take care of the Embassy Suites incompetence, and I am still waiting on the call from the GM that was promised at 9:03 AM yesterday.

but as soon as that call was over, it was changed on the app to the regular suite.

After over an hour of calling back and forth to get that number from them, they finally had found a 800 number that I called and the technician on the phone fixed my issue within 2 minutes being on the phone.

Three hours later we attempted to call the front desk again to get an update and after 5 “no answers” we went down to the lobby and spoke to a supervisor who said they tried to contact an exterminator

Processing request took 5 hours, and only after a second call.

I tried to call the hotel manager several times to address this and his voicemail is full and he never seems to be in office.

That night we try to call for room service our phone doesn’t work at all.

Called a a very rude lady told us we could wait or we could call Uber.

Hotel does not respond to the claim nor to phone calls.

Also housekeeping needs an overhaul, went to open the curtains and found pieces of bread behind the curtain, there were mini bottles of various wines and liquor lying about and when I went to retrieve my phone charging cord that dropped beside the bed I found numerous packets of those little snuff pillows people put in their mouths on the floor.

but the pita chips, tortilla chips and pretzels were stale.

Uncomfortable beds, ripped and stained sheets (I slept on top of the bedding in a sweatshirt 🤢) and the pull out sofa bed our kids slept on was uncomfortable and disgusting. The juxtaposition of the nasty beds/rooms (think dark with low, popcorn ceilings, crusty carpet, etc.)

And your towels get dank and icky- again unless you bring them up yourself.

though they have recently renovated, the room smelled very musty, and there was a few little bugs flying around the room.

Damp floor in the bedroom and associated smell.

Roaches were found running in the room, moldy for allergy sufferers especially no daily room clean or house keeping servIces.

Throughout the night, we all started getting very congested with a nasty cough and when we went to take a shower the next morning we realized it was because all of the vents were molded.

We would just leave the trash bags in front of the room, which is unsightly and smelly.

Unfortunately, the next day we returned from a game to the same horrid stench.

The pool was labeled as a salt water pool, so I am disappointed that one of the employees must’ve put bleach in the pool.

The room smelled of extreme disinfectant- a real buzz kill.

Rooms are great. Mattresses could be better and bathroom towels could smell better

A/C did not work properly,  room stayed humid and smelled musty,  housekeeping did not service our room on day 2, coffee and snack bar did not get restocked in our premium suite like advertised.

The hotel rooms were not clean, the sheets and pillows are stained and smell disgusting.

The smell of smoke in the room early in the morning as well as uncleanliness ruined our stay causing us to check out from this property early to stay at another Hilton property in the city.

I booked a king deluxe  balcony, checked in and the room (top floor) smelled like mildew and balcony was covered with dead wasps.

There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling near the shower.

The rooms were disgusting, staff rude when asks for an extra pillow and blanket sand that they were out.

This a very well maintained hotel and the breakfast was good and a great size pool.

The eggs were fantastic as was the do-it-yourself waffle station.

In the morning they had a fabulous breakfast and Marilyn (who kept everything clean and organized) prepared fresh waffles. Delicious!!

Great breakfast options and the kitchen staff was very friendly!

Karen and Marilyn were always asking if we needed anything else at the breakfast time.

Karen is the joyful lady who works in the breakfast area.

First of all, it would have been nice for Booking.com to let us know that the pool was kind of in a construction zone.

Construction debris covered walk-ways which from the parking lot which had to be navigated strategically.

Three drawbacks construction out front, toilet seat too low and tub floor uneven making it difficult to stand.

though it was a challenge to get in and out of the property due to street construction right in front, there was no extra noise or mess once I made it in the parking area and in the hotel itself.

Also, they must be remodeling somewhere as the parking spaces on one side of the hotel were taken up with storage pods.

The other recent plus is that the construction on 35E has completed and shifted south so getting in and out is much easier.

Note: Ongoing construction on I-35E makes access to the Corporate Drive exit a bit tricky - either north or south bound.

Hotel is difficult to get too due to the construction in the area.

The only reason I did not give this hotel the five stars is because during our stay there were construction workers staying at the hotel (or so I was told by the front desk) and when I went out to my car after dark to bring up a bag, three of them were camped out front drinking and smoking being rude and crude.

In spite of the construction on the interstate highway around it, the hotel is still easily accessible.

& I'm sorry it smelled of moisture&mold here in the rooms my allergies were triggered off & left me coughing.

The atmosphere everywhere was fresh, not musty, or covered by some yucky room spray.

I asked for no deodorants or strong smelling cleaners and my room was aired out way before arrival , greatly appreciated!

but the split system is faulty when you try switching to heat which triggered the alarm which was not good and disturbed the peace and the hotel rug smell really damp and can be better managed.

but had a bit of a musty smell which seemed to be coming from the air conditioning.

However the room had a slight musty damp smell,  reminiscent of the pre-makeover Best Western motels.

Of course, there is no way to get all perfume out.

This room may have been converted from a smoking room at one time.

however it did have an unpleasant odor when I first walked in for the first 5-7 minutes then it became unnoticeable,room 109.

Tired of Holiday Inn Express' nasty breakfast I booked here because Best Western has better breakfast.

A little bit of a musty smell when you first go in, other than that is was great.

The room was perfectly clean the reception workers were sweet, breakfast was good and sanitary, overall they helped make a nightmare trip so much happier.

Extra lock on my door was broken and not functional.

Shower doors were dirty and there were stains on the bed.

The door didn't have a latch on it for me to double lock it.

I couldn’t get more than 2 hours sleep because of the rowdy patrons that were roaming the halls, yelling, and slamming door til 4 in the morning.

But you definitely get what you pay for, there were bugs in the room, bathroom and hallway outside the door.

I called the hotel expressed y concerns and was rudely told that housekeeping checked the door at 1105 and couldn’t get into the room so there for I was charged another night.

I requested to change rooms and was given another disgusting room, this time the door latch was broken.

I thought someone was in the hall leaning against my door arguing it was so loud.

Plus not to mention that housekeeping burst thru the door about 3:30pm. Yes!

The only tip is the door of the bathroom is a little bit damaged through the water from the shower.

but upon return, we realized that we forgot to remove the DND sign from the door.

The only bother was the loud noise that the closing doors in the hallway.

Cleaners knocking on our door at 9:30 a.m. Our shower door kept sliding open.

And when housekeeping did go into the room they never shut the door all the way so it left a way for anyone to steal my things from inside my room.

but no or she should have known that the outlet was operated by the front door lightswitch.

However, the glass shower door appeared to be installed backwards and it opened from right to left and you had to maneuver around the toilet to get in.

The new room was ok, at least this time it was clean and with no strange smell on the carpet (door was defective though) Cleaning service wasn't very consistent, first day they came until around 3pm and the second day they came in very early

We had to change rooms due to a broken shower door.

but the bath was smallish-the door opened inwards toward the toilet and the shower door was about 8 inches from the toilet.

The room rate didn't compete with the next door Hampton Inn and that hasn't been true in the past.

Bathroom was clean except for some black mold in the corner of the shower.

There was renovation going on down the hall, so the smell of sheetrock mud and paint was in the room.

The Men's restroom in the building was in poor condition with a pool of urine on the floor of the stall and the urinal was "Out of Order" as well.

Entering our room, a strong musty smell overwhelmed you.

This hotel’s elevator and hallways smells weird.

The odor in the room was so strong that I would have insisted on another room if I was not already so tired that I couldn't deal with changing rooms.

Related to the water, it had to be shut off the day after we got in for a few hours because of some sort of a pipe issue, which was apparent because the elevators smelled sort of like mold.

The front desk service is mediocre, only had one cart to use for all guest, no events or happy hour like other hotels and room smelled.

I honestly didn't think it was still legal to smoke in hotel rooms?

Plus it smelled like a nursing home or like sweaty sneakers with spoiled baby milk poured in the inside.

When we walked in, it smelled a little musty - so we just amped up the AC and all was better.

The smell of the hotel room was a combination of mildew, body order, and Febreeze.

The only down side I had was the nasty industrial smell of the elevators.

During this last stay at the Wingate, they are apparently dealing with a sewer pipe leakage.

The elevator smelled horrible and the toilet seats wouldn't stay up.

The free parking and breakfast was a huge plus.

Every staff member from housekeeping to breakfast staff to front desk was friendly and engaging, wearing a smile.

The breakfast and restaurant menu options are excellent.

Staff was so attentive and the Breakfast was good with a good variety of food.

I would highly recommend this hotel for exceptional, friendly customer service, comfortable rooms great breakfast and the wonderful shuttle.

The room was outdated, HVAC remote did not work, phone with missing

Super noisy air conditioner fan sounds, not able to sleep well.

Unexpected transport expense blew budget.

I'm beginning to think noisy AC is a feature of Hyatt Place hotels and why I will avoid them in future.

Then I proceeded to lay down for the night to only hear a loud air conditioner All throughout the night!

Things broken or defective in the room and the staff cannot explain bills or rules as expected

We had issues with the romms HVAC and plumbing.

It was 35 degrees that night and the freezing cold poured in.

I’ve stayed there twice this year and my only complaint both times was that the in-room AC unit was very loud.

Tell patrons where the Thermostat is when they check in, otherwise you don't know there is one, and you fumble around with the controls on the cabinet a/c unit, not knowing that there is a thermostat, obscurely located on the wall somewhere.

The only drawback was the air conditioner made a lot of noise so I had to turn it off at night.

The heater also only blew out cold air the entire night and it was approximately 50 degrees outside.

Great complimentary breakfast and excellent customer service here.

We appreciated the breakfast in the mornings and the offer of dinner in the evenings.

Nothing like a good breakfast before your flight and this hotel offered everything that I needed.

The complimentary breakfast was wonderful.

The breakfast, and the people staffing it, are top tier.

Quiet, Mayra housekeeper kept our place nice and clean everyday, lady working for breakfast setup had it nicely stocked, front desk ladies were nice and pool was nice and clean and water was cool

The breakfast was fresh, healthy and sumptous.

We stayed three nights and it was basically the same breakfast every morning.
